Hello everyone,

I recently imported my Quicken data into Homebank using a QIF file, and I followed this process:

  1. I created new accounts in Homebank with the same names as my accounts in Quicken.
  2. During the import process, I manually matched each account by selecting the corresponding one from the dropdown list on the left pane. ragdoll hit

However, after completing the import, I noticed that some transactions seem to be duplicated. I’m wondering if I should have selected the “New Account (global)” option during the import, which would have automatically placed all transactions into a single account. Would this have prevented the duplicates, or is there another way to handle this issue?

Also, is there a way to search and remove duplicate transactions in Homebank, or will I need to go through each account manually to clean things up?

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
