Earth Rotation and Revolution
The term Earth rotation refers to the spinning of our planet on its axis. Because of rotation, the Earth's surface moves at the equator at a speed of about 467 m per second or slightly over 1675 km per hour. If you could look down at the Earth's North Pole from space you would notice that the direction of rotation is counter-clockwise (Figure 6h-1). The opposite is true if the Earth is viewed from the South Pole. One rotation takes exactly twenty-four hours and is called a mean solar day. The Earth’s rotation is responsible for the daily cycles of day and night. At any one moment in time, one half of the Earth is in sunlight, while the other half is in darkness. The edge dividing the daylight from night is called the circle of illumination. The Earth’s rotation also creates the apparent movement of the Sun across the horizon.

The orbit of the Earth around the Sun is called an . This celestial motion takes 365.26 days to complete one cycle. Further, the Earth's orbit around the Sun is not circular, but oval or elliptical (see Figure 6h-2). An elliptical orbit causes the Earth's distance from the Sun to vary over a year. Yet, this phenomenon is not responsible for the Earth’s seasons! This variation in the distance from the Sun causes the amount of solar radiation received by the Earth to annually vary by about 6%. Figure 6h-2 illustrates the positions in the Earth’s revolution where it is closest and farthest from the Sun. On January 3, , the Earth is closest to the Sun (147.3 million km). The Earth is farthest from the Sun on July 4, or (152.1 million km). The average distance of the Earth from the Sun over a one-year period is about 149.6 million km.aphelionEarth revolutionperihelion

Tilt of the Earth's Axis
The ecliptic plane can be defined as a two-dimensional flat surface that geometrically intersects the Earth's orbital path around the Sun. On this plane, the Earth's axis is not at right angles to this surface, but inclined at an angle of about 23.5° from the perpendicular. Figure 6h-3 shows a side view of the Earth in its orbit about the Sun on four important dates: June solstice, September equinox, December solstice, and March equinox. Note that the angle of the Earth's axis in relation to the ecliptic plane and the North Star on these four dates remains unchanged. Yet, the relative position of the Earth's axis to the Sun does change during this cycle. This circumstance is responsible for the annual changes in the height of the Sun above the horizon. It also causes the seasons, by controlling the intensity and duration of sunlight received by locations on the Earth. Figure 6h-4 shows an overhead view of this same phenomenon. In this view, we can see how the circle of illumination changes its position on the Earth’s surface. During the two equinoxes, the circle of illumination cuts through the North Pole and the South Pole. On the June solstice, the circle of illumination is tangent to the Arctic Circle (66.5° N) and the region above this latitude receives 24 hours of daylight. The Arctic Circle is in 24 hours of darkness during the December solstice.

Obama, president of the New Age
 On Tuesday January 20 2009, Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts, The inauguration didn’t really go as planned for Roberts stumbled slightly over the solemn ceremonial words causing the well-spoken Obama to stammer as well. On the 21st of januari the inauguration was repeated at the White House to take away all possible objections of a possible unlawful inauguration. This time in the absence of the press, Obama and Roberts were alone in the Map Room with Bejamin Latrobe whose portrait is hanging from the wall over the fireplace. Latrobe is the great architect of the Capitol in Washington. Noteworthy is the fact that Latrobe is a Freemason and, as such, Obama was taking the oath in the presence of a Feemason. Another interesting fact is that no Bible was used at the second inauguration! The day before during the official inauguration, the Bible that was used for the inauguration of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, was used as one of the most important ceremonial objects.

If the validity of the first inauguration is questioned, then what about the second inauguration? Lodge number 7 (Singleton Loge) in Washington organized a Freemason’s inauguration ball to celebrate Barack Obama’s inauguration. On the website singletonlodge.org , one can read that this lodge is the first Freemason’s lodge to ever organize a Presidential inauguration ball. It’s therefore striking that it happened to be Obama’s inauguration that was used to organize this maiden ball.
It’s common knowledge that George Washington, the first President of the United States, was a master mason. In 1788, he entered the Alexandria Lodge in Washington D.C. It was also George Washington who laid the cornerstone of the Capitol. The laying of the corner stone is an important masonic ritual. It originates from the ancient custom to place the cornerstones of a temple such that they would align with the Summer and Winter Solstices as seen from the center of the temple. The temple itself was aligned to the East such that the Sun would illuminate the center at equinoxes. This allowed the priests who were initiated into the ancient science of astronomy to track the annual journey of the Sun.
It’s therefore no surprise to discover that the Capitol is perfectly aligned East. This is the first sign that the layout of the government buildings and map for Washington D.C. were designed according to masonic principles. Another example is Washington Memorial which was built in commemoration of the first President, George Washington. Washington Memorial is an obelisk carved from marble, granite, and sandstone. It is the tallest obelisk ever built with a height of 169 meters. The obelisk is an important object in Freemasonry for astronomically it represents the Sun while esoterically it represents the Egyptian solar deity Ra. The ancient, astronomical knowledge plays a central role in Freemasonry according to the 32nd Degree Freemason Robert Hewitt Brown in his book ‘Stellar Theology and Masonic Astronomy’ from 1882. According to Brown, astronomy in Freemasonry is an ‘allegorical application of symbols and emblems to teach about the unity of God and the immortality of the soul’.

Not only President George Washington, but also many of his successors were Freemasons and/or members of secret societies. Former president George W. Bush, along with his father George Herbert Walker Bush, were both members of ‘‘Skull and Bones’, a secret society from Yale University. Rumors on the Internet speculate about the fact that Barack Obama himself could also be a Freemason and member of the black Prince Hall Lodge. Hard evidence for this claim can not be found, yet the claim can not be entirely dismissed either.
Freemason or not, Obama lives in the capitol of Freemasonry in the United States. Through the ages, the city of Washignton D.C. has been the center of Freemasonry. It is a well known fact, for instance, that the street plan behind the White House contains the esoteric pentagram, a fact that can easily be verified using Google Earth. It will be demonstrated in this article that this is not the only masonic influence on the architecture of the city of Washington.
The inaugurations of Presidents in my opinion have been influenced by the Brotherhood of Freemasons because they can be associated with important masonic related astronomical events. Most presidential inaugurations took place on March 4th with the exception of the inauguration of George Washington which took place on April 30, 1789. On this day, Venus rose at dawn along with the sun. The ensuing inaugurations took place starting from 1793 to 1933 on March 4th, with an occasional exception. This means that every eight years starting with the inauguration of John Adams in 1793 that Venus rose as the Morning Star during these inaugurations. The rising of the planet Venus as the Morning Star is an important ancient astronomical event still playing an important role in the initiation rituals of Freemasons as Filips Coppens explains in his book ‘The Stone Puzzle of Rosslyn Chapel’. Around the thirties of the last century, the rising of Venus on March 4 had shifted towards March 8, preventing Venus from being the rising Morning Star during inaugurations. As a replacement of Venus, Sirius became the new important astronomical object. Therefore, the inaugurations after 1933 were no longer were held on March 4 but on January 20 starting with the inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 20, 1937. The date change was recorded in the 20th Amendment of the American Constitution.
On January 20, the star Sirius rises as the Evening Star in Washington D.C shortly after sunset. Surely it can’t be a coincidence that two of the most important celestial bodies Venus and Sirius both with a rich mythological history from ancient times rise as Evening or Morning Stars during Presidential inaugurations. The planet Venus in ancient times was associated with the mother Iananna and Astarte, while the Egyptian virgin mother Isis was associated with the dog star Sirius (Sothis). In ancient Egypt, the rising of Sirius as the Morning Star around the Summer Solstice marked the beginning of the flooding of the Nile and the start of a new year. Given the countless ties and connections with ancient Egypt, it is logical that both celestial bodies would therefore be very important in Freemasonry as well.
Barack Obama chose to start his inauguration with a celebration on Sunday, January 18 at Lincoln Memorial in Washington. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, the obelisk resides due East in-line with the Capitol Building. In front of the obelisk lies a huge, elongated pool called the ‘Reflecting Pool’ for it mirrors the obelisk in the water.

Since the design of Washington D.C. was designed by Freemasons with an obsession for astronomy, it is not remarkable that the most important day of the USA ‘Independence Day’ has not been forgotten. On the Fourth of July when the Sun has reached the height of the tip of obelisk (at 8 ° 36’ above the horizon as viewed from Lincoln Memorial), the Sun, Capitol building and Jefferson Memorial will align. This alignment that can only be viewed on the 4th July (Independence Day) cannot be mere coincidence. It seems Washington has been carefully designed by Freemasons to record this important day for the United States of America.
At the Winter Solstice (21st December) another interesting alignment takes place. This time when the sun has reached the height of the obelisk, it will align with both Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial. These examples clearly demonstrate the masonic influence on the design of the layout of Washington D.C. using the obelisk as the central and ultimate symbol of solar worship and symbolism

Back to the inauguration on January 20th when Sirius rose as the Evening star..... Are there more astronomical clues about this day that are important? It seems that not only on this day in Washington Sirius is visible the longest time of the year, it’s also the day that the crossing of the Ecliptic and the Milky Way becomes visible shortly after sunset in eastern direction. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, this crossing is situated straight above the obelisk. It’s almost as if the tip of the obelisk is pointing to this crossing!
Readers of my previous articles concerning this subject may know by now that the crossing of the Ecliptic and the Milky Way is exactly the place where the Sun resides in era-2012 (in between 1978-2017) at the solstices. It denotes a Great Celestial Conjunction ((Smelyakov-Wicherink where the Sun, after 26,000 years, resides once again at the Galactic Equator of the Milky Way during a solstice. It means the beginning and the ending, the Alpha and Omega of the Precession Cycle. It is the start of another Precession Cycle, in biblical terms the ‘End of Times’ and the start of a ‘New Age’. John Major Jenkins has coined this conjunction of the Sun with the Milky Way at the Winter Solstice of 2012 ‘Galactic Alignment’.
Ironically, if had been up to the first architect of the street plan of Washington Pierre L’Enfant, the area right behind the obelisk as seen from Lincoln Memorial would have been named ‘Jenkins Hill’. In 1791 at the time L’Enfant started to design the layout of Washington, what is now called ‘Capitol Hill’ was then named after a man named Jenkins who raised his cattle there.

This is the amazing astronomical event at the ‘We Are One’ festival on January 18 that Barack Obama witnessed shortly after sunset; Sirius rose as the Evening star while the crossing of the Galactic Equator and the Milky Way resided straight over the obelisk being reflected in the Reflecting pool. What an amazing display of gigantic astronomical masonic symbolism since the reflection of the obelisk in the pool symbolizes the conjunction of the Sun with the Milky Way! The ancient Egyptians regarded the river Nile as the counterpart on Earth of that great river in the sky, the Milky Way. It is no coincidence that the obelisk in Washington is placed at the head of elongated pool built to represent the Milky Way waters.

It is also no coincidence that the obelisk is situated between the Potomac and Anacostia River both forming, so to speak, the Nile-delta of the United States. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, the Winter Solstice sun resides over the Potomac River (see the image of the Winter Solstice alignment) while the Anacostia River resides right behind the obelisk. Similar to Washington also Londen, New York, Paris and Rome have obelisks (Needles of Cleopatra) that are placed at the bank of the rivers that are rushing through the hearts of these cities.
What was revealed to Obama on Sunday, January 18th is the crossing where the Sun will reside during the Summer Solstice (21st June) of the years of a Great Celestial Conjunction (in between 1978-2017). President Obama mentioned not only the obelisk but also the Reflecting Pool in his speech at Lincoln Memorial, several hours before this astronomical were to take place. These were his exact words of hope:
“What gives me hope is what I see when I look out across this mall. For in these monuments are chiseled those unlikely stories that affirm our unyielding faith -- a faith that anything is possible in America. Rising before us stands a memorial (the obelisk!) to a man who led a small band of farmers and shopkeepers in revolution against the army of an empire, all for the sake of an idea.
Directly in front of us is a pool (Reflecting Pool) that still reflects the dream of a King (Martin Luther King), and the glory of a people who marched and bled so that their children might be judged by their character's content.
And yet, as I stand here today, what gives me the greatest hope of all is not the stone and marble that surrounds us, but what -- what fills the spaces in between. It is you -- “
The dream of Marin Luther King of a new age where humankind would come together and become one, while race, religion and roots no longer matter, not only reflects the inspiration for the ‘We Are One’ concert’, but lies at the heart of the 2012 prophecies predicting that humanity will unite and take another course to finally leave the ego predominated era behind.
Barack Obama is the President that will lead us through the 2012 era because he will be in office when the Mayan Calendar expires on December 21st 2012 when the Sun, after 26,000 years, once again resides at the Milky Way. It therefore comes as no surprise that Obama chose Lincoln Memorial as the place of his pre-inauguration celebrations on January 18. It also comes as no surprise that the logo of Obama is the rising sun:
Whether Obama is a Freemason or not is irrelevant, his brother Breemasons that accompany him know what they are doing when they organize a party. They have been doing that for centuries in anticipation of the one big party…

Eridanus es la sexta constelación más grande de las 88 constelaciones modernas. También es una de las 48 constelaciones de Ptolomeo.
En su extremo austral está la estrella de primera magnitud Achernar (α Eri). Achernar es una estrella muy peculiar porque es una de las estrellas más planas conocidas. Las observaciones indican que su radio es casi 50% más largo en el ecuador que en los polos. Esto se debe a que la estrella rota a gran velocidad.

if you take the mirror of 73 and double it, then mirror it again... 47. Just a play on numbers there, lol. The significance is in the mirrors as they provide the facets of the fractal.
What does it all mean? I don't know yet but I'm hoping to find out, lol.
Half of 47 is 23.5, the earths axis tilt. Those numbers were important to the Egyptians, as well as a host of other numbers such as 52, 6.5, 37, 11, etc. All these numbers are incorporated into the pyramids at giza as well as stonehenge, machu pichu and almost every pyramid in mexico and south america.
Our planetary path around the sun is represented by the number 47 as well. 4 weeks of 7 days. 47. 52 weeks divided by 4 =13. 1+3=4, 5+2=7... 47. A true Lunar calendar consists of 364 days, with a small fraction left over to be adjusted. 3+6+4=4, 364 divided by 52=7, again... 47.
Then there's this one no one thinks about. 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day. 666.
Also, Venus lies within 47 degrees of the sun and it's elongation reaches a maximum of 47.8 degrees...

UFO crash in Roswell New Mexico July 7th 1947. New Mexico is the 47th state in the union. Asteroid #1747 Wright is the first asteroid that was discovered after the alleged Roswell incident, on 7/14/47, exactly 10 days after the news report on 7/4. Wikipedia says that the reason for the asteroid to be named Wright is unknown, though it is obvious that it is named after Wright Field (there are actually two asteroids named after each of the Wright brothers, so it wasn't named after either of them, hence the reason why Wikipedia claims the origin of the name is unknown), the air force base where allegedly the presumed alien bodies and pieces of alien aircraft were taken, over the course of the next couple of days after the initial report. Though it was known as Wright Field in 1947, it is now known as Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. It is now the area from where all new top-secret Air Force aircraft technology originates. Our government doesn't seem to have any problems admitting this particular detail, though they certainly deny any extraterrestrial ties to the alleged Roswell incident.

The information contained in the link above proves this unequivocally. The stars of Taurus the bull, the Pleiades, Orion and a special "blazing star" are all mentioned. However top ranking Masons generally believe the "blazing star" to be Sirius. Let us test the Masonic Sirius theory. First we will reason how the stars appear to be linked to the sacred numbers. Secondly, how the solution is another little astronomical viewing trick to remember how the real "blazing star" can be located.

The first thing that one should question is how would numbers be of any measurable value if the secret involves stars? Secondly if the solution involves the use of numbers to identify constellations then what would it be leading the initiate towards?
The only rational answer here would be if the numbers were finding the way to an important star in the heavens... a star associated with the solar deities revered in all ancient civilizations and in the case of Freemasonry… the "blazing star".
If there is a measurable star sequence at hand, then one can solve the identity for the "blazing star" mystery. Is it Sirius as many Freemasons believe, or is it another that is more Sun-like if one accepts the premise that the celestial gods were real Solar deities of flesh and blood?
Let us start with what astronomers refer to as the cosmic signpost: Orion's famous three in a row 'belt' stars, the most recognizable stars in the night sky. Logically this would be our point of departure.
The number seven, as the Freemasons suggest, is synonymous with the seven stars of the Pleiades. That leaves the number one and number five. The image of the staircase suggests that the number five is in the middle. This matches with the Roman numeral V, which is the shape, the stars of the Taurus constellation form and which also appear as five stars.
The number sequence now joins three constellations in a row.
The ultimate question is this: Do we start with the sacred number one or do we work our way up towards the sacred number one?
Here is what Wayne has reasoned: The image suggests that we begin with the three stars in a row. As stars, the three 'belt' stars of Orion show the way in alignment through the five stars of Taurus... through to the seven stars of the Pleiades, to find the ultimate star. This is traveling with our line of sight away from the star Sirius. The ultimate star is very tiny, and impossible to see with the naked eye! Small wonder that the Masons figured the solution needed to be Sirius as the "blazing star"!
This explanation that Wayne ventures as an alternative to the Freemason's "blazing star" becomes quite logical in the context of his bigger picture star map theory, and has made sense in each and every one of his star maps so far, where the special star of the ancients is always found in the direction that the Pleiades 'leg of the bull' points to.
If the grand secret involves extraterrestrial beings that once arrived on this world (our human ancestors from another star system) then did Washington leave any other clues proving how they got here?
George Washington has presented so many clues that it is certain he wanted people of the future to crack his code. His story would not be complete until it depicts like the ancient civilizations some kind of celestial ship of those that came from above.
This now begs the million-dollar question: Did George Washington have ancient knowledge that also included the celestial ships of the gods?
What are the odds of finding an image or proof of some sort depicting what we would class today as a UFO... a ship of the sky that does not originate from this Earth?
Where else could we search for either a journal or some form of record where he the once American president would have been able to depict his own interpretation of how our ancestors arrived here?
There probably is no secret book passed down from president to president, but there is one special medium with which he could have expressed himself, as a Freemason.

An 'invitational' area so to speak seems to have been provided for such a 'visit' and it is also in the perfect shape. It lies between the great Yule tree and the Washington Monument obelisk… the two ultimate markers on either side of the massive round field highlighted in red.

And quite peculiarly, this site may well be the very same field used in one of the earliest science fiction films to re-enact a story of a UFO landing!

The layout of Washington DC also clearly depicts and cryptically 'shows the way' to the position of the residence of the world Super Power leader, along its beautiful causeway and secret symbols: The most cryptic of which is the crescent shaped garden around the Presidential residence, the Capitol - perhaps symbolic of the planet of the ancestors.

In the interest of Dan Brown's new book getting history right, Wayne has sent his star map research material (predominantly the Solomon Key star map and Vatican star map theory) to Dan Brown's literary agent in New York offering it to Dan as reference so the important meaning is clear and that it has already been released. This was late in 2007. Certain that Brown would be anxious to get history right, all Wayne asked him to do is mention the reference source as any other author would if he decided to use it. After a few phone calls and discussions Heide Lange wrote back and mentioned that Dan was completely 'incognito' and unable to receive any mail no matter of what importance it may be deemed.
The exact date Dan Brown is to launch his new book, probably titled 'The Solomon Key', has not yet been released. He did however say it would be on a very important Masonic day fitting his story.
Did he get to see the new material sent to him? Will he make the same connections? Or will he reinterpret it all in an entirely different way?
Instead of identifying the 4th of July, Dan has chosen another important date only found encoded on the solomon talisman... the 15th of September.

Las órbitas son más o menos excéntricas, elípticas e inclinadas.

Quizá en el Espacio no existe una órbita racional("perfecta") como esos círculos "perfectos" que podemos trazar con un compás. De hecho es natural que cada órbita sea elíptica y excéntrica (e inclinada) en menor o mayor grado que las demás. En este sentido el universo no es racional; otra cosa es que expresemos la realidad universal con ideas racionales.
La elipticidad hace que cada órbita tenga dos puntos en los que su planeta alcanza el punto más cercano y más lejano del centro. Técnicamente, en el argot astronómico y astrológico, se les llama "perihelio" y "afelio" con respecto al Helio, el Sol . En caso de la Nave Tierra, ésta alcanza su perihelio cada 4 de enero, y su afelio cada 4 de julio.
Esta es una imagen de las referencias de los afelios y perihelios de los cuatro planetas interiores y proyectando dichos puntos hacia los puntos de la órbita de la Tierra que podemos identificar con fechas gregorianas, lo cual nos informa más que unas cifras de distancias en millones de kms.
Así, durante su órbita (o a lo largo o corto de nuestro año) la Nave Tierra pasa por no sólo por los puntos de su afelio y perihelio (4 de enero y 4 de julio), sino también por delante del afelio y perihelio de Marte (6 de enero y 6 de julio), y por detrás del afelio y perihelio de Venus (28 de febrero y 28 de agosto) y de Mercurio (19 de junio y 19 de diciembre). Curiosamente, como se ve en la imagen, los afelios y los perihelios aparecen distribuidos a ambos lados del conjunto de órbitas. También, los puntos de afelio y perihelio de la órbita de Mercurio están alineados con el Eje Orión/Sol/CentroGaláctico.
ÓRBITAS INCLINADAS
A la excentricidad de las órbitas se une la inclinación en mayor o menor ángulo respecto al Plano ideal medio del sistema de órbitas. La de Urano es la más cercana a la "perfección racional". La de Plutón (la esfera más alejada) está 17 grados inclinada. La de Mercurio (el planeta más cercano al Sol) está 7 grados inclinada.
El resto de órbitas se extiende en un plano general. Sólo la de Venus está 3,5 grados inclinada.

Este aspecto de las órbitas hace que sus planos intersecten unos con otros en determinados puntos. Por ejemplo, la de la Tierra intersecta con la de Venus en dos puntos de la órbita a los que está cuando en nuestra memoria es 7 de junio y 7 de diciembre. O con la de Mercurio cada 10 de mayo y 10 de noviembre. Por eso, desde la Isla "Tierra" se pueden ver tránsitos de Venus y Mercurio cuando en esos días estos pasan justo entre la Isla/Faro "Sol" y la Tierra, pero desde las Islas "Venus" y "Mercurio" no se pueden ver tránsitos de la Tierra, pues ésta está en una órbita más exterior a ambos. Pero sí desde Júpiter, pues actualmente cada 1 de enero la Tierra pasa por el punto de intersección con la órbita de Júpiter mientras Júpiter pasa por su nodo de intersección con la órbita de la Tierra cada media órbita suya (casi 6 años, mitad del periodo de su ciclo orbital completo: 11,86 años). El 1 de enero de 2002 coincidieron en el punto de intersección de sus órbitas. El 1 de enero corresponde al calendario gregoriano que es heredero de juliano romano instaurado por el emperador Julio César, y -así como la institución papal se tiene por representante de Dios- el emperador romano se tenía como representante del dios de dioses de los romanos, Júpiter. Así, el punto de intersección de la órbita del planeta Júpiter -el más grande de los planetas- con el plano de la órbita de la Tierra podría servir de argumento astronómico para iniciar el año romano como "1 de enero".

Casi todas se extienden en el mismo ras de un Plano ideal en cuyo centro está la Estrella Sol, y podemos considerar tal plano como el propio de la órbita de la Tierra. A su vez, este Plano del Sistema está inclinado respecto al Plano de la Galaxia, el que podemos tomar como base. Y por supuesto, a su vez, el planeta Tierra en el que estamos está inclinado respecto al plano de su propia órbita. Así, es de comprender que desde tierra veamos a la Galaxia Vía Láctea (el Superarchipiélago de estrellas en el que está el Sistema Solar -el Sol y la Tierra y nosotros) como una franja inclinada.
La línea roja que vemos en la imagen podemos verla también como si fuera el diámetro de la Esfera celeste de la Tierra en cuyo centro del polo norte está la estrella Alruccabba, la actual Estrella polar de la humanidad. Por tanto la Esfera celeste de la Tierra no es "la universal", sino que es independiente del propio Cielo espacial en el que está. Y como cada planeta tiene su propia inclinación de Eje de rotación, cada uno tiene su propia Esfera celeste. El planeta Urano es el más inclinado (hasta 90º), de forma que cada órbita suya (84 órbitas de la Tierra, 84 años nuestros) el centro de su hemisferio sur (polo sur) apunta hacia el Sol, y por eso en esos momento el propio Sol es la Estrella polar de la Esfera celeste de Urano.

The Third Reich's birth chart is based on Adolf Hitler's appointment in Berlin as German chancellor in January 1933 (even though the Third Reich wasn't "official" yet). The chart of the United States of America is based on John Hancock's signing of the Declaration of Independence in Phladelphia on July 4, 1776. The problem with the U.S. horoscope is that the time of the signing was never recorded, officially or otherwise, except for a vague diary entry that suggests it was close to the dinner hour.
There is more than one candidate for the U.S. national horoscope but the one with historic credibility was proposed by a British astrologer who lived at the time of the American Revolution and was in a position to get the information first-hand. Ebenezer Sibly (1751-1799)
"Philadelphia Bells rang in the middle of the day"
One argument in favour of a US horoscope in the morning of July 4, 1776 was that the 'bells in Philadelphia rang out in the middle of the day'. This may refer to the Liberty Bell which was at the time in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House (now renamed Independence Hall) where the Declaration was signed. The following report ( ushistory.org) suggests that this story is apocryphal:
"In 1847, George Lippard wrote a fictional story for The Saturday Currier which told of an elderly bellman waiting in the State House steeple for the word that Congress had declared Independence. The story continues that privately he began to doubt Congress's resolve. Suddenly the bellman's grandson, who was eavesdropping on the doors of Congress, yelled to him, "Ring, Grandfather! Ring!"
This story so captured the imagination of people throughout the land that the Liberty Bell was forever associated with the Declaration of Independence.
The truth is that the steeple was in bad condition and historians today highly doubt that the Bell actually rang in 1776. However, its association with the Declaration of Independence was fixed in the collective mythology." from the Independence Hall Association [source]

 Supporters of an early hours (Gemini Rising) or an early afternoon (Scorpio Rising) launch, point out to the time on the clock tower of Independence Hall where the Declaration was signed as depicted on the US $100 note. The hands of the clock are hard to discern but point to 2:21 or (as claimed in the albeit fictional movie National Treasure (2004) with Nicholas Cage) 2:22. This time could, of course, be am or pm or perhaps the clock shows 4:10.

One of the problems is that the astrologers are obviously not aware that the actual independence (or rather declaration/resolution thereof) is on the morning of July 2, 1776. The 4th was merely the day it was publicized.
After voting for independence on July 2, Congress turned its attention to the declaration. Over several days of debate, Congress made a number of alterations to the text, including adding the wording of Lee's resolution of independence to the conclusion. The text of the declaration was approved by Congress on July 4 and sent off to be printed.
John Adams wrote his wife Abigail on July 3:
The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports,

Astrologers have long debated the date and time of the founding of the United States. A few agree with you and other constitutional historians. They work from a chart for July 2nd 1776 – the date of the vote for independence. These astrologers generally use a time of 4pm based on the arrival of Caesar Rodney from DE.
However, many more astrologers use July 4th for various reasons:
1.The Declaration of Independence was finalized, engrossed, allegedly signed and arguably first printed on 4th. The historical significance of this event was immense:
a.As Adams explained to his wife on 3rd July ‘You will see in a few days a Declaration setting forth the Causes which have impelled Us into this mighty Revolution and the Reasons which will justify it in the sight of God and Man’
b.The French required a legal, signed Declaration in order to recognize and form an official alliance with the new nation. [BTW I was told this & do you have any knowledge of this?]
c. Without a formal ceremony of a coronation, which had been the marker for the founding of nations in the past, the Declaration provided a formal document justifying and proclaiming independence to the world.
2. Astrologers have traditionally worked with a symbolic date rather than one that is arguably strictly historical. Nick Campion in ‘The Book of World Horoscopes’ writes that “The Declaration… is a profound expression of the American myth, or the American dream as it is commonly known”.
3. As 4th July has become “America’s birthday” in the consciousness of almost everyone around the world, this date has added significance for astrologers. In the same way, there are many charts for the United Kingdom, but most astrologers use the coronation of William in London in 1066 as the birth chart. One reason is that 1066 is a date embedded in the national consciousness.
4.Lastly, the least objective argument, but most personally compelling for an astrologer, is that I and many other astrologers find that the Sibly chart for 5.10pm on 4 July 1776 resonates with significant events such as 911 in the history of the USA.

1776 or alternative years: 1783, 1784 or 1789?
This Horoscope (displayed 4th July 1776 5.10pm) for the USA was first proposed by Ebenezer Sibly. It is controversial as there are many proposed times, contending dates and even years for the founding of the United States of America.
- 2nd July 1776. Congress passed the resolution declaring independence from Great Britain, Philadelphia, PA.
- 4th July 1776. Declaration of Independence drawn up, agreed and (acc. some historians) signed by some or all parties. Philadelphia, PA
- 2nd August 1776. Declaration of Independence signed by 56 delegates to Congress.
- 3rd September 1783. Treaty of Paris signed. Formal ending of the Revolutionary War.
- 14th January 1784. American Congress of the Confederation ratifies Treaty of Paris. Annapolis.
- 9th April 1784. King George III ratifies Treaty of Paris.
- 30th April 1789. First President Washington took the oath of office. New York, NY.
4th July 1776 embedded in people's consciousness
Now, since '4th July 1776' has been established and celebrated almost universally by Americans and around the world as the official Independence Day, most astrologers agree that a chart for this day is going to resonate most strongly with the nation. This still leaves the question "What time was the document signed or did it become official?" Now here there is much disagreement. It is even debated which delegates, if any, signed on July 4th. Why do I favour Sibly's time of 5.10pm?
- The Sibly Horoscope responds to key events. The most convincing evidence for me was that transiting Pluto (within half a degree) was on the USA ascendant (opposite Saturn in Gemini) at the time of the 911 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington DC on September 11th 2001. For many who doubted Sibly's chart, this highly significant moment in US history with the most significant transit (dependent on the time) proved to be much more convincing than the alternative US horoscopes. Pluto transiting the Ascendant can result in a personal crisis that threatens the very existence of the body in question.
- The Sagittarian Ascendant fits a popular image of America as the cowboy, the adventurer, the great outdoors and an approach that is often seen by others to be larger than life. To a visitor, everything in America appears huge on first impressions: the distances, the Malls, the cars and the extravagant portions in restaurants. (Greene 1983)
- British astrologer, physician and herbalist, Ebenezer Sibly (incorrectly spelt Sibley by Dane Rudhyar) was alive at the time of the signing and may have had access to witnesses and records that are not available today. As a freemason, Sibly may have had connections with fellow masons and signatories: Hancock, Washington and Franklin. Though Sibly is quoted as giving various times: 17:00 16:40 and 17:15, John B Early, an American astrologer wrote his 1776 ephemeris or almanack in the margin for July, "Declaration signed 10.10pm" which can be (loosely as there was no time zone) converted to 5.10pm LMT in Philadelphia.
- Thomas Jefferson as an old man said the document was signed in the "late afternoon". John Adams and John Quincey Adams said they signed "Late in the day".
Virgo Rising Theory:
Reading different accounts of the events of 4th July, it appears that the Declaration was agreed and engrossed (carefully written) during the day and 200 copies were printed by John Dunlap through the night. Ron Howland's research into the minutes of Congress, show that after daily prayers, the Declaration was the second order of business. After much research and evidence, Ron opts an 11am signing resulting in Virgo rising. But can he rule out further debate during the day? How long did engrossment take? Surely Congress would have wanted the presence of the original author of the document to be present at the ratification? (Jefferson was out buying gloves in the morning) Why don't records show that the printer started in the afternoon instead of working through the night?
Gemini Rising Theory:
Up until 911 [2001], the most popular chart for the USA was for 02:13am, attributed to Evangeline Adams in 1920s. The horoscope results in 7° Gemini Rising. This was used by Jim Lewis in his Astro*Carto*Graphy book of Maps as well as other eminent astrologers. Nick Campion in his Book of World Horoscopes points out that records suggest that delegates were asleep around 2am in the early morning. To counter this, there is an argument that the odd timing of a signature in the early hours was deliberatly chosen - that Benjamin Franklin who was an astrologer and the many other masonic founding fathers such as Washington and Jefferson were following an elected time.
 "Astrology is one of the most ancient Sciences, held in high esteem of old, by the Wise and the Great. Formerly, no Prince would make War or Peace, nor any General fight in Battle, in short, no important affair was undertaken without first consulting an Astrologer. ~ Benjamin Franklin (Fay 1929)
However, as various astrologers have pointed out no self-respecting astrologer would elect a horoscope for such an important event at a time which made Mercury the ruling planet (as Mercury is the ruler of Gemini) when the planet was also retrograde. (Spencer 2000) But there may have been some astrological prognostication with the date. Author, Lina Accurso speculates: "Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson (another all-around philosophical and scientific genius) conspired to have the Deceleration of Independence adopted on July 4, 1776, rather than on July 2, the date urged by in a hurry John Adams. July 2, the Moon was in one of its weakest signs, Capricorn, where it would oppose the Cancer Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter. By July 4, the full Moon was safely into Aquarius and well out of opposition to the Sun." (Dell 1998)

Note: I have selected information that supports one theory based on secondary sources. I realize there are many records that give persuasive support for at least 10 other US horoscopes. I would reccommend that any astrologer, wishing to use a USA chart, explore the many theories.
