QUISE LLEGAR A TI 

Quise llegar a ti...pero NO SE...no pude 
hubo algo en el camino que me lo impedía 
tomé por una senda, anduve... y anduve 
pero llegar a tí...no se porque, pero no podía. 

Allá lejos... ante mis ojos todo se obscurecía 
y el sol ardiente que cuando salí brillaba... 
allá... en la distancia... se desaparecía 
y todo en penumbras se me transformaba. 

Quise llegar a tí, pero no pude 
y ahora mi mente sin cesar te nombra 
y todo aquel lugar por donde anduve 
se ha quedado convertido en sombras. 

Quise llegar a tí...pero ya ves NO PUDE 
la claridad del cielo ante mi se apagaba 
contra un árbol del camino, me sostuve 
mientras mi pasión por ti se desbocaba. 

Sentí que mis fuerza se acababa 
y me encontré sólo con mi mismo 
y ante mis ojos se me presentaba 
tu imagen, en el fondo de un abismo. 

Quise llegar a tí mi amor...¡¡pero no pude!! 
una fuerza invisible se me interponía... 
y al despertar del sueño, noté que estuve 
abrazado a mi almohada hasta llegar el día.
