Por la estela del mar de la alborada
 
con su sayo y baston para el camino
 
en el silencio de la tarde va el peregrino
 
andando entre chopos ve a su amada
 
 
 
Y corre buscando a la luna de la tarde en llamarada
 
oyendo a la lechuza y al pajaro en su trino
 
un loco afán le guia entere los pinos
 
llegar a COMPOSTELA la meta ya soñada
 
  
 
Y duerme entre la jara ya escondido
 
esperando llegar no herido
 
por el tramo final de la llegada
 
  
 
Y por fin a lo lejos enter brumas anherido
 
presencia la ciudad de su sentido
 
contemplando el campo de estrellas esperada
