Kindle app is now next to useless after the recent changes, use to be a joy to use, now its unusable. Cancelling membership until Amazon sorts out issue with Google. Suspect that the decline in sales will motivate them |

As kindle customer service told me, their devices can be used for more than a month without recharging, and they support a huge number of text formats.
