Cuenta una de las muchas leyendas sobre el Origen del café
que había un pastor de cabras en Etiopia llamado Kaldi
y que un día se percato de la vitalidad de su rebaño
 tras comer unas bayas rojas y brillantes de un arbusto.
Cuentan, que llevo esas bayas a un venerado musulmán que se 
encontraba en un monasterio. El anciano desaprobó inmediatamente 
su uso y las arrojo al fuego. Pero en ese instante le cautivo un
bálsamo embriagador que empujo al sabio a meter las manos
en las brasas y extraer los granos tostados.
Cuentan que los hecho en agua caliente con sal
y así se hizo la primera taza de café en el Mundo
