Soy fuerte, pero lloro cuando lo necesito
cuando mi esfuerzo por mantenerme firme
desmaya y duerme cansado de mantenerse de
pie la mayor parte del tiempo.

Soy fuerte pero también tengo miedo,
las inseguridades habitan en mi corazón medio tiempo,
no soy un templo de hierro, no soy un trébol
de cuatro hojas clavado en pecho.

Soy fuerte pero hay dentro de mi un espacio
especial para la cobardía,
porque desde ahí nace la valentía,
las ganas de no permanecer congelada
cuando las piernas tiemblan y el pensamiento llora.

Soy fuerte como el roble,
pero también suave como el cerezo;
así que si un día me descubres distinta
a como acostumbras, que no te extrañe,
todos tenemos días nublados, pero andamos
con la sombrilla de colores dentro del bolso.
