The time taken by Venus to seemingly orbit the Earth (i.e. a Venus synod) is currently 584 days, so that 5 Venus synods are equivalent to 8 ‘practical’ earth-years (of 365 days). Venus has a sidereal orbital period of 225 days, and 13 of these periods equal 8 practical earth-years. In both cases, the numbers composing these ratios are consecutive Fibonacci numbers, and therefore give approximations to the golden section: 8/5 = 1.6, and 13/8 = 1.625. Venus rotates extremely slowly on its axis: its day lasts 243 earth-days, or 2/3 of an earth-year (the same ratio as a musical fifth). Every time Venus and earth ‘kiss’, Venus does so with the same face looking at earth. Over the 8 years of the 5 kisses, Venus will have spun on its own axis 12 times in 13 of its years.
Thus, in 8 years Venus has 5 inferior conjunctions (when it lies between earth and sun) and 5 superior conjunctions (when it lies on the opposite side of the sun). Plotting either of these sets of 5 conjunctions in relation to the zodiac produces a five-pointed star or pentagram, the segments of the constituent lines being related according to the golden section. There is a slight irregularity, for the pentagram is not completely closed, there being a difference of two days at the top. This irregularity generates a further cycle, as it means that the pentagram will rotate through the whole zodiac in a period of about 1200 years. It is interesting to note that the pentagram was associated with the Babylonian goddess Ishtar-Venus, and that depictions of Venus as a five-pointed star have also been found at Teotihuacan in Mexico. In theosophy, Venus is said to be closely connected with our higher mind (manas), the fifth principle of the septenary human constitution.

According to theosophy, the key numbers to the solar system lie in a combination of the year of Saturn and the year of Jupiter, expressed in earth-years (Purucker, 1973, pp. 3-15). About 12 earth-years (11.86) make 1 year of Jupiter, and about 30 earth-years (29.46) make 1 year of Saturn: 12 x 30 = 360, the number of degrees in a circle and the number of days in an ideal earth-year. (Theosophy says that an earth-year oscillates above and below 360 days over very long periods of time.)
The whole process of evolution can be summed up as a descent of divine consciousness-centres or monads into matter, and their subsequent re-ascent to spirit, enriched by the experience gained on their aeons-long evolutionary journey. This process can be symbolized by two interlaced triangles, known as Solomon’s seal or the sign of Vishnu, the upward-pointing triangle representing spirit, and the downward-pointing triangle representing matter. Significantly, as Saturn and Jupiter revolve around the sun, they mark out two interlaced triangles around us every 60 years! The upward triangle is formed by their conjunctions and the downward triangle by their oppositions. Once again, there is a slight irregularity: after 60 years the conjunction does not take place at exactly the same point; there is a gap of 8 degrees, so that the interlaced triangles slowly rotate through the entire zodiac in a period of 2640 years. There are 432 of these 60-year Jupiter/Saturn cycles in a precessional cycle of 25,920 years.

The sun is the heart and brain of the solar kingdom and the regular sunspot cycle is akin to a solar heartbeat. The sunspot cycle has a major impact on earth, especially terrestrial magnetism and the climate. Over the past 250 years its length has varied irregularly between 9 and 14 years, averaging 11.05 years. Sunspots peak shortly after Jupiter passes the point in its orbit closest to the sun. (The ‘ideal’ sunspot cycle is said in theosophy to be 12 years, so there would be one such cycle for each year of Jupiter.) The sunspot maximum does not occur exactly in the middle of the sunspot cycle. The ascending part of the cycle has a mean length of 4.3 years – very close to the figure of 4.22 years that would divide the 11.05-year cycle exactly according to the golden section.*

And on the other side of the flat universe coin, the swastika would appear to be rotating in the opposite direction? The New Jerusalem Diagram – Introduction
“The New Jerusalem Diagram” is the name given by the scholar of ancient lore, John Michell [The original explanations in John Michell's books, especially "The Dimensions of Paradise", Thames and Hudson, 1986] to a geometrical construction that allows the “squaring of the circle” and the division of the circle to 28 equal sectors (a zodiac wheel) and the ceremonial positioning of the twelve tribes (or constellations) in a pattern of four camps at the four sides of the square.
John Michell has reconstructed the geometric pattern of the ‘heavenly city’ which is the template of the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21.
He discovered that this diagram served as the design (blueprint) for many sacred sites, including the Stonehenge, The Great Pyramid, St. Mary’s Chapel at Glastonbury and the City of Magnesia in Plato’s The Laws.

It turns out that also the Nazca glyph called “Mandala” aka “Sun-Star-Cross” perfectly matches the New Jerusalem Diagram.

It is no surprise that the NJ diagram matches blueprint for the The Dome of the Rock, a shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The wheel of 28 divisions is common to various esoteric systems and serves as representation for the schematic month: 4 weeks = 28 days. The solar calendar of the Dead Sea scrolls sect was of 364 days, which is a multiple of 28 ( 28×13 = 364). In many Sufi diagrams, including in the ceiling of the dome at the El-Aqsa Mosque* (not the Dome of the Rock) at the Temple Mount, there appears the motif of the wheel made of 28 divisions.

The NJ diagram is also hinted and enfolded (according to Micheell), in the description of the holy city, The New Jerusalem, whose descent from heaven concludes the Christian Bible.
Below we present 3-D version of the New Jerusalem Diagram.
Is it possible the 3D NJ diagram was used as a blueprint for the Crown Jewels?… Perhaps this is a case of a “secret hidden in plain site”?
The collective term Crown Jewels denotes the regalia and vestments worn by the sovereign of the United Kingdom during the coronation ceremony and at other state functions. The term refers to the following objects: the crowns, sceptres (with either the cross or the dove), orbs, swords, rings, spurs, colobium sindonis, dalmatic, armill, and the royal robe or pall, as well as several other objects connected with the ceremony itself. The Crown Jewels have a religious and sacral connotation. Their hidden symbolism seems to be related to the sacred geometry of the New Jerusalem Diagram.
The Construction of the New Jerusalem Diagram
The construction of this diagram starts with the attempt to “square the circle” by drawing a circle and a square that have the same circumference.
- So in building this sacred diagram, one starts with a circle with a diameter of 22 units, and blocks it with a square of 22 x 22 units (like the number of the Hebrew letters, with which supposedly “heaven and earth were made”).
- Then one draws from the same centre an additional circle whose diameter is 28 units – “the perfect number” that is already the number of the letters in the first verse of genesis and marks the circle of the seasons. The circle with diameter 28 has circumference of Pi x 28, which is as noted 22/7 x 28 = 88 – just the circumference of the square with edges of 22 and circumference thus 2 x 22 = 88.
The circle and the square have the same circumference, and they intersect in 8 points, where the square juts out of the circle in 4 vertices.
- The building of the complete pattern continues with the drawing of 12 circles with diameter of 6 units – the number of letters in the first word of Genesis – Bereshit – as the first “perfect number”. The centers of these twelve circles are situated on the outer big circle, whose diameter is 28, and they touch (are tangent to) the inner circle, whose diameter is 22. Four of these circles are situated according to the points were the square is tangent to the inner circle, and the other 8 circles are placed according to the 8 points of intersection between the square and the outer circle.
There are two amazing consequences of this construction:
- This construction squares the circle
- It divides the circle into 28 equal segments
- It reflects ratio 22:7 which is good approximation of the “Pi”
- It reflects golden ratio 1.618
- It reflects the ratio of 22:6, which issues theoretical-geometrical considerations is also the exact real ratio between the diameter of the earth and the diameter of the moon!

Su presencia trascendente en diversas culturas.
LA LEMNISCATA – EL INFINITO
POLIGONO OCTAGONAL Y ESTRELLA DE OCHO PUNTAS.
El número 8 tiene un profundo significado esotérico.
Recordemos que la Rosa de Los Vientos esta constituida por ocho rayos.
En el oriente el ocho se asocia a los ocho pétalos de la Flor de Loto y los ocho brazos del Visnú.
En el simbolismo de la naturaleza anatómica el 8 se asocia con la vagina, es decir, con la "puerta" por la que una nueva vida entra en el mundo.
En el Cristianismo el número ocho y su representación geométrica octagonal se asocia a la resurrección, por ello aparece como forma de la planta del Santo Sepulcro. Infinidad de pilas bautismales estaban diseñadas en forma de octágono, o bien la planta del recinto de los baptisterios se hacia de esa forma.
En Numerología, este número esta relacionado con el karma, con la Ley de la Causa y el Efecto, que nos dice: "A toda acción corresponde una reacción en el mismo sentido y en la misma intensidad". Con claridad indica que "se recoge lo que se siembra".
En el Tarot de Rider se corresponde con el Arcano de la Fuerza, el cual porta el símbolo del infinito, la lemniscata sobre la cabeza. Se asocia al psiquismo, a la naturaleza dulce de lo femenino, al lado amable de la naturaleza humana, que al sublimarse logra maravillas, resultados concretos. La fuerza representa la "conquista" que alguien ha logrado sobre si mismo, teniendo ahora un "poder" infinito como aliado. Como oráculo en el Tarot es augurio de riqueza, prosperidad, logros en el mundo material, entre otras interpretaciones.
Más la forma horizontal del ocho evidentemente es el símbolo del INFINITO. En el tarot de Rider, en el libro: La Clave Ilustrada del Tarot de Arthur Edward Waite, menciona sobre el Arcano del Mago y sobre el símbolo aludido lo siguiente, (fragmentos):
"Una figura juvenil que viste con la toga de un mago, con el semblante de un Apolo, la sonrisa confiada y los ojos brillantes. Encima de su cabeza está el misterioso signo del Espíritu Santo, el signo de la vida, como una cuerda sin fin, que forma la figura de un 8 en posición horizontal. Para la mayoría este es un símbolo convencional de la eternidad, pero aquí indica más, especialmente la eternidad de la realización del espíritu. Con respecto a lo que he llamado el signo de la vida y su conexión con el número 8, debemos recordar que el gnosticismo cristiano habla de renacimiento en Cristo, como un cambio [en el 8]. De acuerdo con el martinismo, el 8 es el número de Cristo".
Son varios los Arcanos del Tarot que manifiestan el símbolo del infinito, nada es casual, todo es causal´.
En esa percepción de los símbolos ETERNOS que disfruto percibir, es evidente que la Diosa de la Tierra, la Madre Tierra en su manifestación de Tlazolteotl, esta dando a dando a "luz" a Centeotl, y este a su vez sostiene una cuerda, un mecatl, que tiene la forma de la lemniscata, el 8 del infinito. La Rueda de la Medicina contiene también el simbolismo de ocho.
Los Templarios usaron la forma octagonal reiterativamente. Para ellos representa la Senda del Retorno hacia la Madre - Virgen Eterna del Universo. Lugar del encuentro de la naturaleza y sus reinos, con la esencia divina que todo lo penetra; unidad de lo terrestre con lo celeste.

512 does look like SIN when rearranged to letters. In number theory 512 is a Leyland number.
In the Hellenistic period, the ratio 256:153 was used as an approximation of the square root of 3.

That link helps confirm my journey that began 4 years ago with a simple thought. A simple thought from which there was no turning back. A thought that became an obseSSion.
