Hey folks! I’m playing around with a new dining setup and curious — how do you successfully mix modern pieces with vintage ones without making it look random or clashing? Would love your advice!

Hey! That’s actually one of my favorite styles to play with. The trick is choosing one or two elements that act as the bridge between eras. For me, that’s often glassware — it pulls everything together. I once used the Kilimandscharo https://mdmaison.com/brands/theresienthal/kilimandscharo by Theresienthal set from MDMAISON, and the look just clicked. The glasses had this intricate craftsmanship that worked beautifully with my grandmother’s porcelain dishes, yet still looked right at home with a sleek, modern table. It’s all about finding that subtle harmony.
