Forget about the non-sensical aspects of a Wednesday or Friday sacrifice of our beloved Messiah. The pagan days of the Roman calendar week do NOT figure into this subject matter at all. According to the Lunar reckoning of Yahweh's Calendar (Ps. 104:19) where the Feast Days and 7th Day Sabbath Days (Lev. 23) are reckoned by the moon and its phases, here we see how the 14th of the 1st Moonth is Passover/Preparation Day in which Messiah Yahshua was hung on the tree to die for our sins. Just before sunset on the 14th, on the 6th day (see green background) of the 2nd shabuwa (Strong's concordance #7620, improperly termed "week" but defined as "a period of 7" a "heptad") He was put in the grave. After sunset on the 6th day (the beginning of the 7th day of the 2nd shabuwa) till sunset on the 7th day is the first full day that Messiah was in the grave. It was the Sabbath day, the first day of the Feast Of Unleavened Bread. From sundown on the 7th day of the 2nd shabuwa till sundown on the 1st day of the 3rd shabuwa was the 2nd full day that Messiah was in the grave. From sundown on the 1st day of the third shabuwa till sundown on the 2nd day was the 3rd full day of Messiah being in the grave per the sign given regarding Jonah in the belly of the whale. Right after sundown, Messiah arose, on the THIRD DAY (of the third shabuwa) ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. (See the full chart to view and understand the "weeks" of the moonth).
The phrase "first day of the week" has been so mistranslated and improperly understood that it has driven most everyone away from the reckoning of the THIRD DAY resurrection. I don't think, to this day, that the "first day of the week" is even now understood, but it most certain does NOT mean "sun-day". "mia ton sabbaton" has no reference to the word "day" in it, that is why in the KJV it is "italicized" but added to give one an understanding of a "sun-day" resurrection to favor the RCC. Mia means "one" in Greek. This is more likely a reference to a time frame of the first of the seven shabuwas (periods of seven) that lead up to the Feast of Shavuot (feast of "weeks" - Pentecost). This phrase always occurs during a time known to the Hebrews as "the counting of the omer". In other words, we believe mia ton sabbaton means "early in week ONE of the counting of the omer - the counting of shabuwas (weeks/sabbaths)".
We certainly know that this does not even begin to answer ALL the questions pertaining to the verses that speak of the "first day of the week" so we reserve the right to modify or correct our understanding as the Ruach Yahweh leads.

LA FECHA DE LA RESURRECCIÓN
"Cuando pasó el Shabat…Muy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, vinieron al sepulcro…Pero cuando miraron, vieron removida la piedra, que era muy grande." Y les fue dicho, "Ha resucitado" (Marcos 16:1-6). Mateo 28:1 dice: "Pasados los días de Shabat" como ya hemos indicado antes, y también menciona un violento terremoto.
Por lo tanto, Cristo resucitó después de los dos Shabats en el primer día de la semana, que era domingo. Esto ocurrió 3 días después del 14 de Nisán, el día de la Preparación, así que era el 17 de Nisán.

Este día es muy importante porque los Israelitas habían de empezar a contar a partir de este día:
"Contaréis desde el día que sigue al día de reposo, desde el día en que ofrecisteis la gavilla de la ofrenda mecida; siete semanas cumplidas serán... Y el sacerdote los presentará como ofrenda mecida delante del Señor, con el pan de las primicias y los dos corderos; serán cosa sagrada al Señor para el sacerdote. Y convocaréis en este mismo día santa convocación; ningún trabajo de siervos haréis; Estatuto perpetuo en dondequiera que habitéis por vuestras generaciones."
Este día se llama Pentecostés que significa cincuenta días, (Levítico 23:15-21). Compare lo que sucedió a los Israelitas 50 días después de que fueron "salvos" de los egipcios en Éxodo 19:16-19 con Hechos 2:1-8, 50 días después de que Cristo resucitara de entre los muertos.
"Mas ahora Cristo ha resucitado de los muertos; primicias de los que durmieron es hecho. Porque por cuanto la muerte entró por un hombre, también por un hombre la resurrección de los muertos. Porque así como en Adán todos mueren, también en Cristo todos serán vivificados. Pero cada uno en su debido orden: Cristo, las primicias; luego los que son de Cristo en su venida. Luego el fin…" (1ª Corintios 15:20-24).
Por lo tanto, Jesús cumplió la ofrenda de las primicias de la cosecha porque Él era los "Primeros Frutos", y Él también cumplió el día de Pentecostés dando el Espíritu Santo a todos los creyentes. El cumplimiento de Jesús de este día prueba que esta fiesta no debía ser celebrada el día después del Shabat de Pascua, sino en el Shabat semanal, que seguía a la Pascua, por ejemplo, después de los dos Shabats.

In the star photograph animation above, Orion's belt shows the way in alignment to find the place of a special star that many ancient civilisations, especially the Egyptians and the Sumerians worshiped as the place of their great and powerful star visitors. The ancients no doubt insisted that since these 'angelic' beings also had great technology and could do a lot more than just fly... they became their 'gods'. (Hence the listing of the important star here as the star of the 'gods' of ancient civilisations that Wayne covers in his book The Hidden Records). This way of thinking occured with virtually all ancient civilisations. It appears the prime star here was the star system (with worlds depicted with a crescent) of the heavenly visitors of flesh and blood (most often revered as Angels since the time of The Christ) who not only looked like us... They were us! We appear to be linked to the very same evolutional beginnings as they are... somewhere else... and not Earthly at all.
In fact the only real difference between 'them' and 'us' is technology. We had simply lost ours after surviving what appears to be a terrible Northern Hemisphere cataclysm. A great time had passed before they visited again. The star visitors worked with two great messengers of the two most followed holy books today. Both great messengers were without doubt fully aware of the sacred ties that we once had with those that came from above. Two powerful nations living right next to the other would then follow their teachings for many generations - two separate teachings, each sourced from two great messengers who appear to have left behind encoded knowledge of the place of our physical origins, The Creation and the secrets of the soul.
Two prominent nations still arguing today over different ways - each driven by their collection of records that became two of the most followed religions of this world. Some of their teachings were either encoded in their great icons because the people at the time were just not ready for that knowledge, or it was encoded by their scholars because it was only deemed important for its elite. Each appears to hold one half of a profound star genesis secret, that up until now, has been completely forgotten. How sad it is that they both carry so much anger and pain over differences that they would prefer a holy war rather than compromise belief.
What is a holy war some may ask? It is war that will be fought over differences in ways, where each is absolutely certain God is only on their side and would help them kill the other. Any true believer in God as a creator of ALL humanity will know in their heart that something has gone terribly wrong and we need to take a moment and look back at all our earliest ancient records before it is too late.

Both nations seem to be completely unaware that the enigmatic icons of their religions in both instances individually form two parts that if put together reveal the same hidden secret. It is a star secret and it mirrors the same star secret held by the beginnings of all the ancient pyramid civilisations around the world.
These two nations’ earliest leaders and hierarchy probably kept this secret to themselves, because the hidden records stood a chance at uniting humanity. The choice made by both civilisations was no doubt inspired by a very old ugly habit... one that is not interested in peace and oneness. Humanity as a whole has always been far more interested in spreading their own power, their own ways... conquering more lands, more wealth and more slaves to build bigger empires. The elite of all nations continued in their old ways creating bigger and better armies that demanded soldiers who cannot possibly be thinking of peace or goodwill. They would probably make sure their common people were struggling in their lives for human comforts. They needed people that would be happy to achieve human comforts in life if they joined the army. To take their mind off their troubles and peaceful ways they held barbaric games or graphic public executions spilling blood for entertainment. Both nations seemed to believe that WAR was God’s way because each nation believed they were the chosen ones! Each believed it was 'God willing' and therefore good to overpower foreign people, their lands and their wealth - all this in hope of better lives! In most cases many perished and those front line soldiers of the winning side that survived had very little extra in their lives.
These terrible old ways appear to be secretly working their way back into society again. The youth of today are already being fed video games and movies promoted as entertainment creating interest in bloodshed and violence. Drugs are easily available now to ease the pain for the general public in our out of balance profiteering society where the rich are getting richer and the poor getting poorer. What used to be reliable news on TV is now full of altered truths and biased propaganda. Our children are being prepared as soldiers fighting for the interests of the Elite... the super rich, and most have absolutely no idea it is happening at all.
Here is the combined 'icon' secret of both the Cross and the Crescent that stands a chance of uniting humanity. As confirmed by our star charts today, it also shows the exact position of a star that is catalogued as Sun-like and what the author Wayne Herschel believes we will soon discover is another Earth-like world. The secret given to humanity repeatedly over the ages has now been revived again and easily available on the internet,and the author presenting with references, our physical and spiritual celestial origins answering “who we are and where we come from”.
Hundreds of years after The Christ, the sacred cross of the sky (as seen above on the top left) was once again presented to humanity by celestial visitors… angels, tied into The Christ story. And the recipient of this revived crucial information was Roman Emperor Constantine who claimed a similar angelic intervention. The sacred cross would explain the secret teachings of The Christ story and the Bethlehem star. It would appear that Constantine kept most of what he had seen hidden, subsequently introducing an altered version of The Christ story. What he did was hide the truth in symbolism, adjusting it to suit old Greco Roman fundamentals.
It became what we know as Christianity of today.
The ‘double’ cross in the heavens that Constantine saw is no doubt the sacred cross of the stars of Orion showing the way, as one follows the alignment of the three star in a row cosmic sign post, to the place of our celestial ancestors, the Bethlehem ‘genesis star’.
The other icon on the right holds the same phenomenal star secret: It is most likely the same Sun-like star and its world, in crescent near the Pleiades. This matches the ancient knowledge of the Sumerian and Arcadian ‘star’ visitors found in ancient Iraq and Iran.
If the two nations who are the key proponents of these religions were to put down their weapons and look back at their joint beginnings and also the forbidden hidden records of The Tree of Life, they would see greatness and purity and would most likely have less motivation to be at war. Especially if both work towards the higher human rights that are targeted with Oneism here.
Both were once given the same enlightening secrets fitting the heavenly teachings of who we really are and where we come from, both physically and spiritually.
It was a star map and the secrets of The Tree of Life. The Sumerian star is the star of Bethlehem We are all the children of those that came down from the heavens!
With the greatest of respect to both of these individual religions today, it is time to put both halves of an ancient star secret back together again and reveal that which was cryptically hidden from both previously.
The one chose the Orion sacred cross of the sky to be its icon and spoke of the star of Bethlehem… the other chose the Crescent of a world bathed in the light of its sacred star perhaps inspired by the Sumerian records, that included the Pleiades near it. Pride in this separateness of their heritage rather than spiritual unanimity and equality, would leave them at loggerheads for centuries.
It is apparently a fact that Islam chose the star and crescent and added it to the religion shortly after their holy book was written. This is a mystery on its own.
The unique shape of the crescent strongly suggests that it is far more important than a representation of our barren lifeless moon.
How can one reason that the crescent is not the moon?
Here is the proof that no doubt will have a considerable impact on those willing to consider this scientific point of reasoning, because if anything it will elevate the importance of our great ancestors!
Verifiable astronomically, the moon's crescent never ever has an extended curve crescent with pointing edges like the ancient depictions creating a 'sickle' pattern. In the image above the moon passes near the Pleiades at its most extended pointed edges of the crescent stage. Note that the crescent shape is absolutely nothing like those of the Sumerian depictions or the Pawnee Indian ancient depictions.
In astronomy the passing of one heavenly body
in front of the other,
with one larger than the other,
produces the sickle shaped pattern.
But since one is obviously larger than the other already it is clear that the sickle image cant represent the moon in any possible way.
It is probably the case of a larger Sun as we see in the crescent icon at the top of the page created by two distinct orbs in front of each other…

The Sumerians of the earliest epoch without doubt were very advanced astronomers. Many of their images go to show that they knew of this important material and that the phenomenon they saw was near the Pleiades.
The crescent therefore cannot possibly be our moon, because for millennia the Sumerians continued to represent the strange pointed edge crescent many times in scroll seals over the ages, as seen below:
They simplified their rendition perhaps suggesting the world of their ancestors as the crescent and showed its accompanying star, near the Pleiades.

Both significant nations, that of the Cross and that of the Crescent, have allowed themselves to venture very far off the path of peace. Both seem more interested in protecting the interests of a select few at the expense of the attainment of greater ease and peace of mind for everyone that would allow all to experience the wonders of life here on Earth and to live life to its fullest potential.
Both symbolise the star of our ancestors who came from above. Put the two together and it proves we are all one and equal.

Mary Magdalene plays a major role this past week in the Easter story of Jesus's Resurrection. She is the first one that Jesus appears to after he rises from the dead. He doesn't appear to Peter, John, James his brother, or even his mother. He appears to the one who he loves the most Mary Magdalene. She followed him through his journeys and supported his cause financially. She is at the Crucifixion, Burial, and Resurrection. Pope John Paul II has called her the "Apostle to the Apostles". She is named fourteen times in the bible more than most of the apostles. Magdalene is mentioned more than Mother Mary in the bible. Jesus cured her of a serious illness and as a result saved her life. Her bravery is outstanding when compared with Saint Peter. It is Saint Augustine who said "it was the Holy Spirit who made Magdalene the Apostle of the Apostles." We are lucky to have the Gospel of Mary Magdalene which she tells the Apostles secret teachings Jesus taught her. Jesus teaches a woman and then this woman teaches his Apostles. It is another terrific part of the story. No more Magdalene carries the false label of the prostitute but not an equal to the Apostles. Many can debate if she is seated next to Jesus in Da Vinci's Last Supper. It is her actions that speak for themselves. She has earned the right to be seated with the Apostles.
At Rennes Chateau in France Mary Magdalene carries a cross and holds a urn. On the cross she bears is a five pointed star. The five pointed star is the symbol of Venus. Titian has a painting called Venus with Mirror. The two cherubs are there holding her mirror.

She will be crowned by roses which have thorns. In the mirror do we see the all seeing eye of the goddess peering back at her. The Egyptian all seeing eye of the goddess Wedjet known as green one and the Greeks called it "risen one".
Titian Pieta is his last painting. In the painting we see Mary Magdalene with two cherubs one above and the other below. A woman carrying the cross crowned with rose crown of thorns. She was a Cumaen Sibyl who predicted the coming of the savior.
It is interesting that the cherubs under Magdalene at Rennes Chateau are pointing down and one wonders if there is a crypt under the church. The cherubs are seen in many paintings dealing with the burial of Christ. Bourdon, Poussin, Titian, and others have placed the cherubs with Magdalene and the other women at Jesus grave. These women who came to Jesus's grave possibly had children. The cherubs in the paintings maybe a symbol representing the children of the Holy Family or children of Jerusalem. Luke 23:28-31 says
"Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming when they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck!' Then they will begin to say to the mountains, 'Fall on us'; and to the hills, 'Cover us'. For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?"
It doesn't surprise me that Venus the goddess of Love whose symbol is the five pointed star would be connected to Mary Magdalene. It could be the reason for the symbol on the tree cross that she carries. Venus symbol has a cross in it for its astrological symbol. It is connected to the Ankh. The key of life to the Egyptians connected to Isis and eternal life.
Venus retrogrades every 584 days (19 months) making five retrograde points around the Sun. After eight years, Venus forms a five-pointed star in the sky. Ishtar and Astarte carry the jar of life and so Mary Magdalene carries her jar . Mark 14:3 talks about the woman with the alabaster jar. The jar the Egyptians used for the funeral rites. It seems the symbolic connections with Magdalene and Venus makes sense. She loved Jesus with such passion and he loved her by showing his resurrected self first to her. It is all about the power of love and that is what Venus and Isis is all about.
At the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris is a wooden panel which depicts the life of Christ. A panel depicts the Wedding of Cana. Three people have halos one is Jesus another is a woman who sits next to Jesus. . Is she Mother Mary or possibly Magdalene?One wonders who the fellow next to Jesus who has a halo too? Is he Jesus brother? Is he the bride's father? Is he the bride's groom? The lady next to him does not have a halo and she is darker skinned than the others. She does wear a gold crown and her hair is not covered. I'm interested to hear what other people think of this interpretation of the Wedding of Cana especially the saint next to Jesus. The French had a oral tradition which said Mary Magdalene came to France by boat with other saints. She brought with her the dark servant girl Sara the Egyptian. Napoleon made the Paris coats of arms the five pointed star and the ship who brought Isis to the city called Paris. It is interesting the similar story of Isis and Magdalene coming by boat to France. Napoleon created the Arch de Triumph as a symbol of Isis and her star Sirius. Isis was devoted and loved Osiris very much. I could see how Magdalene and the story of Isis could be similar. Esto significa que esa estrella de 5 puntas gira también alrededor del Sol hasta dar una vuelta en 1.252 años: un Ciclo mayor compuesto por 156 subciclos Pentagonales (1.252 órbitas de la Tierra y 2.035 de Venus). Así es como los planetas crean los Ciclos Cósmicos. 1.252 años son 457.457 días, que es prácticamente 676 x 676 ó 26x26x26x26 ó (13+13)x(13+13)x(13+13)x(13+13) días.

Viendo desde el planeta Tierra, desde el meridiano del mediodía, sin que gire el planeta (pero sí trasladándose) y acelerando mucho el movimiento de los astros hasta que en 20 segundos transcurrieran 8 años, podríamos ver a Venus realizar 5 movimientos retrógrados cada 8 años, 2 en forma de lazo, 1 en zig zag (cruzando la eclíptica) y otros 2 de nuevo en forma de lazo (casi simétricos a los dos primeros). Los trazos en forma de lazo los realiza por encima o debajo de la eclíptica según ande circulando por el nodo superior o inferior de su órbita (inclinada respecto a la de la Tierra). También podemos verlas como las letras gráficas del lenguaje venusiano. Tales trazos derivan gradualmente en el cielo terrestre cada 8 años en sentido contrario al del Sol ante el fondo fijo de las estrellas y las constelaciones, de modo que desde hace unos 100 años, el movimiento en zig zag de Venus ha venido ocurriendo sobre la constelación de Orión.
El 13 es número basico en el Ciclo Pentagonal, pues es el número de órbitas de Venus, de modo que en 13 Ciclos Pentagonales Venus da 169 órbitas (13x13). Interest in the Mary "called Magdalene" in the canonical Christian Gospels of the Greek New Testament has blossomed in the last decades. Who was this Mary, this "other Mary" who was so devoted to Jesus that her presence is reported in all four Gospels at the cross and at the tomb. Who was she, and why was she called "the Magdalene" (h Magdalhnh in Greek). This distinctive epithet of Mary Magdalene is found in all four of the canonical Gospels and in the Gnostic Gospel of Philip discovered at Nag Hammadi in 1945.
Until recently the traditional reply asserts that this "other Mary" was a prostitute from Magdala, a small fishing town located on the western shore to the Sea of Galilee, a town that the Hebrew Talmud says was "destroyed for prostitution." It seems incredible that the most beloved and loyal disciple of Jesus should be said to be from a town with a reputation for loose morals! I would like to discuss here the actual source of Mary Magdalene's extraordinary epithet.
The Aramaic word Magdala means "tower" or "fortress." In Hebrew, the word is spelled mgdl and migdol. The title "Magdalene" implies greatness, exaltation, elevation, and pre-eminence. And in fact, on seven of the eight lists in the New Testament that mention women who followed Jesus, Mary "the Magdalene" is mentioned first. In Matthew 28 we read that on the morning after the Sabbath Mary Magdalene and the "other Mary" went to see the sepulcher. Who is "First Lady" here? Clearly it is Mary Magdalene who has pre-eminence in the early community whose stories are recorded in the Gospels.
For several historical reasons, I do not believe that Mary was from the town of Magdala. In the period of Greek and Roman hegemony in Galilee, the town now known as "Magdala" was called "Taricheae," a Greek name meaning "place of dried fish." According to Josephus, writing in his books about Jewish history, the town was strongly influenced by Hellenistic culture and mores and even sported a hippodrome for chariot races during Biblical times, until its total destruction by the Romans in AD 67. A new town was later built over the ruins of Taricheae, and was called "Magdala Nunnayah," a name mean "Tower of the Fishes" in Aramaic. But during the lifetime of the woman named Mary who anointed Jesus at a banquet and Bethany and later met him resurrected in the Garden on Easter morning, the town was called Taricheae. This is attested in numerous Roman and Jewish records, including several mentions in Josephus.
It appears probable that in trying to discover the source of Mary's distinctive epithet, enthusiastic converts went looking for a town for Mary to have been born in. Not realizing the first century history of the town of Magdala Nunnayah, they decided that she must have come from this town in Galilee which was destroyed for "prostitution." In Jewish tradition, "prostitution" was often ascribed to communities that worshipped foreign gods and was synonymous with "idolatry." But Greek and Latin speaking converts would not have understood that the town they knew as "Magdala" had a history of adopting Hellenistic mores during the period of Greek hegemony over the region, beginning in about 300 BC, prompting the Jews to attribute "prostitution" to the town's reputation prior to its destruction.
Adding to the confusion of the meaning of Magdalene's title is the conflation of Mary Magdalene with the Mary who anointed Jesus at the banquet at the house of Simon in Bethany, just a few days before the Crucifixion. All four Gospels of the New Testament tell the story of the anointing of Jesus by a woman, a literal re-enactment of nuptial rites of ancient pagan fertility cults of "Sacred Marriage" celebrated throughout the Mediterranean Basin. Only Luke transplants this story from Bethany, located on the prophetically significant Mount of Olives, to an unnamed town in Galilee, calling the woman who anointed Jesus "a sinner from the town." Luke does not use the word for prostitute in his indictment of the woman, but her loose hair, with which she dries her tears from his feet, implied that her sin was one of loose behavior. Ignoring the testimony of the other three Gospels, the Church has allowed Mary Magdalene to be slandered as a prostitute for nearly two millennia, thereby stealing her power and silencing her voice. In 1969 the Roman Catholic calendar of Saints' feast days was revised, separating Mary of Bethany from Mary "Magdalene"--thereby splitting the role of the anointing woman in two.
It is my personal conviction that the woman who anointed Jesus at the banquet at Bethany and "wiped his feet with her hair"--Mary of Bethany in John 12--was the same woman who went to anoint his corpse on Easter morning and met him resurrected--Mary Magdalene in John 20. In ancient mythologies of the hieros gamos, it is the Bride who anoints the Bridegroom King, and it is again the Bride who meets him three days later resurrected in the garden. A similar archetypal story celebrating the eternal return of the Life Force is ubiquitous throughout the Middle East in the cults of Inanna, Ishtar, Isis, Aphrodite, Cybele. In the Gospels, Jesus and Mary Magdalene incarnate this "never-ending story" on the physical/historical plane.
Ignoring for a moment the syncretism of these pagan cults, I suggest we look to the Hebrew Bible for the source of Mary Magdalene's distinctive honorific. In about 700 BC, the Hebrew prophet Micah recorded an amazing prophecy for the "Magdal-eder" (Micah 4:8-11).
The Hebrew word Magdal-eder literally means "Tower of the Flock" and refers to a hill near Bethlehem often used as a vantage point by shepherds to survey the surrounding fields. In this prophecy of Micah, the "Magdal-eder" is equated with the Daughter of Sion, the people of Israel, personified as "Jerusalem." This prophecy sums up the fate of Mary Magdalene in four short lines and was, I am convinced, the passage that inspired the person who coined her epithet.
"And you, O Magdal-eder ("Watchtower of the Flock")
Stronghold of the Daughter of Sion,
Unto you shall the former dominion be restored,
the kingdom of Daughter Jerusalem.
Now why do you cry?
Have you no king? Has your counselor perished,
that you cry aloud like a woman in labor?....
For now you shall go out and dwell in the open fields.
To Babylon shall you go,
and from there you shall be rescued....
Now also many nations are gathered against you.
They defile you (call you "unclean").
This prophecy of the "Magdal-eder" provides the image of a woman, the personification of the nation of Israel, crying over her deceased king and counselor (rabbi, teacher), and then sent, defiled and defamed, into foreign exile, eventually to be rescued. Perhaps that time is now! The scenario is repeated in John's Gospel, chapter 20, when Mary is crying at the tomb and Jesus asks her, "Woman, why are you crying." The Greek word gune can mean either "woman" or "wife." Was Jesus actually addressing his WIFE in this familiar passage? When she finally recognizes him, Mary calls him "Rabboni"--a term that expresses greater intimacy and tenderness than the traditional "Rabbi," and then she embraces him. Saint Jerome's translation of the Greek sentence, "Do not touch me," does not convey the true meaning of the the original text. It actually says something closer to, "Do not keep clinging to me" or "embracing me." The Greek word haptou can mean anything from barely touching someone to having sexual relations. Why could Jerome not have chosen a Latin verb that would have conveyed the greater intimacy implied by the Greek. Instead, we've received a tradition of an untouchable "phantom" Jesus rather than that of Jesus who was a husband and lover.
One further argument supports Mary Magdalene as Bride of the Archetypal Bridegroom. In Hebrew and in Greek, each alphabet letter has a numeric value. In coining the Greek phrase "H Magdalhnh," the architects of the New Testament gave this "other Mary" a title whose numeric value (153) reflects powerful associations with the Feminine principle and the Goddesses of the ancient world. The subject of symbolic numbers encoded by gematria into the Christian Gospels is discussed at length in my 2003 book Magdalene's Lost Legacy. Magdalene's sacred number 153 is associated with the vesica piscis -- () or yoni--a symbol universally associated with the Feminine. Ancient Greeks called the vesica piscis the "matrix," the "doorway to life," the "bridal chamber" and even the "Holy of Holies." There is no mistaking the sexual associations of this shape and its feminine nature, deliberately coined into the significant epithet of the Mary called "the Magdalene."
How can we fail to recognize the Lost Bride of the Christian revelation, crying over her deceased Bridegroom and sent, defiled and defamed, into foreign exile? How can we fail to do all in our power to reclaim her true story? Justice and chivalry require that we honor this woman in the role to which the canonical Gospels themselves attest--as the beloved Queen of the messianic King of Israel.
