I’m planning to update the siding on my house in Wilmington, but prices are all over the place depending on who I ask. What’s a realistic budget for a mid-sized house? I don’t want to overpay, but I also don’t want cheap materials that fall apart.

Hi, we had similar concerns when planning our home update earlier this year. After talking to a few contractors, we ended up going with https://ubrothersconstruction.com/l-home-renovation-wilmington Wilmington siding and were really satisfied with both the price and the quality. They provided a clear, itemized estimate, and nothing unexpected popped up along the way. For a mid-sized home, we paid slightly under what others had quoted us, and the materials they used were high-grade, with great insulation properties. The job included removal of old siding, wall prep, installation, and cleanup. They didn’t try to upsell us and explained the pros and cons of each siding material. In the end, the price made sense for the durability and finish we got. If you’re getting wildly different quotes, ask for breakdowns—some of them pad in a lot of extras you don’t need. |
