The first thing that attracts our attention are the cardinal directions that are noted in the tessellated border of the board. According to the Scottish Rite freemasons, the mosaic on the border represents the planets of our Solar System.
There’s no doubt that the blazing star at the centre of the ‘Tracing Board’ is our Sun. The point within the circle depicted on the table at the foot of the ladder is the ancient representation of the Sun as well as the Egyptian hieroglyph for Ra, the Egyptian Sun god.
The Blazing Star corresponds with the equinox Sun that rises in the East and sets in the West. The top of the board is the East and the bottom is the West. The equinox Sun lies on the line connecting the cardinal directions East and West.
The Scottish Rite freemasons gave us the clue that ‘The grand parallel lines thatbound the Sun between the North and the South’ are in fact the tropic of Cancer (North) and tropic of Capricorn (South). The tropics determine the extremes of Sun’s path at the summer and winter solstices.

Given these clues, there is therefore little doubt that the Suns on the left and right represent the solstice Suns!
The Sun on the left is the summer solstice Sun that rises in the North East and sets in the North West during the summer solstice. This Sun appears in the North East region of the ‘Tracing Board’.
The Sun on the right is the winter solstice Sun that rises in the South East and sets in the South West during the winter solstice. This Sun appears in the South East region of the ‘Tracing Board’.
The central Sun the blazing star has yet another very important significance; it represents the Sun on the Galactic Equator as we will demonstrate later.
The three Suns depicted in the ‘Tracing Board’ from right to left seem to suggest the movement of the Sun through the Galactic Equator at the equinox. This is the basic concept of the precession of the equinoxes.
The name ‘Tracing Board’ therefore may suggest the tracing of the Sun along the precession cycle since it presents the idea of the conjunction of the Sun with the Galactic Equator on solstices and equinoxes.
The latter isthe concept of Galactic Alignment or Great Celestial Conjunctions as we have called them in our paper ‘Crucifying the Earth on the Galactic Cross’ (Smelyakov, Wicherink 2006). There are four of these conjunctions of the Sun with the Galactic Equator in a Platonic Year (one full precession cycle) that make up the four World Ages of the ancients.
The ecliptic crosses the Milky Way at two places; one place is near the Dark Rift in between the constellations Scorpio and Sagittarius while the other is in between Taurus and Gemini near the Pleiades.
In our present time the Sun aligns with the Dark Rift near the Galactic Centre at the winter solstice. Also during the summer solstice the Sun aligns with the crossing of the ecliptic and the Milky Way in between Taurus and Gemini.The sun now resides near the Pleiades and the Galactic Anti-Centre.
If we take a careful look at the ‘Tracing Board’ we notice that the Sun on the left is depicted in a black dark region. This dark region represents the Dark Rift of the Milky Way. If we look at the Sun on the right we notice that there are seven stars depicted near the Sun. The seven stars denote the stars of the Pleiades
There is one thing however that doesn’t quit seem to fit. The summer solstice Sun ( Sun on the left) is near in the Dark Rift, while the winter solstice Sun is near the Pleiades.
This is the reverse situation of the current Galactic Alignment that is occurring during era 2012!
Although the ‘Tracing Board’ conveys the idea of Galactic Alignment it is actually referring to the Galactic Alignment that occurred half a precession cycle ago (around 13.000 years ago). This is the time that many researchers have associated with the time of Egyptian Zep Tepi (first time), the Deluge and the destruction of Atlantis.
Bible and Astrology
In order to further understand the secrets of the ‘Tracing Board’ we must understand that the Bible contains texts that are an allegory of the esoteric astrological meaning that it conceals. We can only fully decode the ‘Tracing Board’ if we accept the possibility that the biblical references given by the Scottish Rite freemasons are in fact astronomical hints. It is beyond the scope of this article to prove the assertion that the Bible encodes astrological information.

So let’s look at all of the clues the freemason’s left on their website and in the ‘Tracing Board’ and review them in their astrological context.
Jacob’s Ladder
Jacob’s ladder appears in the ‘Tracing Board’ and is reaching into the Heavens. Jacob was the grandson of Abraham and Sarah, the son of Isaac and Rebecca. Jacob's 12 sons were the ancestors of the 12 tribes of Israel. The 12 tribes of Israel is a reference to the twelve houses of the Zodiac, just like the 12 apostles of Jesus are. That’s why Leonardo Da Vinci portrayed the apostles in 4 groups of three in his painting of the Last Supper separating the zodiac into four seasons.

Jacob dreamt of the Milky Way as a ladder with angels ascending and descending it. The ascending angles of course are the up and down moving stars in the sky.
And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it! (Gen 28:12)
Milky Way erect during summer
During summertime the Milky Way stands erect on the horizon and forms a ‘Stairway to Heaven’ or Jacob’s ladder. The idea of representing the Milky Way as a stairway or ladder leading to Heaven was a very common theme in ancient times. This idea was expressed as a rope, a tree (World Tree) or a ladder leading into the skies. The Maya called the Milky Way the Wakah Chan during summer sunrise ‘the raised up sky’ and it was represented as the World Tree.
On the website the Scottish Rite freemasons speak about the ‘The Volume of the Sacred Law’ appearing on the table with the circle and dot (Sun) supporting Jacob’s ladder. The Volume of the Sacred Law is a reference to the religious book, the Holy Bible containing the Masonic square and compasses.
This statement I believe states that the Sun (circle and dot) is supporting the Milky Way (Jacob’s ladder) and that this knowledge is contained in ‘The Volume of the Sacred Law’, the Bible which rests between the Sun (circle and dot) and the Milky Way (Jacob’s ladder). In other words they are speaking of the importance of the Sun on the Milky Way (Galactic Alignment), information that is contained in the bible...
Moses
The Scottish Rite freemasons write ‘there is a point within a circle round which a Mason cannot err; this circle is bounded between North and South by two grand parallel lines, the one representing Moses, the other King Solomon’. As we have explained above this is a reference to the solstice sun. So according to the freemasons, Moses must be equalled to the solstice sun!
This reveals yet another clue.
In the book Exodus a “pillar of cloud” is mentioned that guided Moses out of the desert during the daytime and a “pillar of fire” that accompanied him by night.
21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night; 22 the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people. (Ex. 13:21-22)
This pillar of cloud and pillar of fire is nothing less than the Milky Way:

Notice that the three pillars in the ‘Tracing Board’’ are surrounded by clouds! The horizontal architraves disappear into the clouds. Notice that there are three pillars and three clouds, but they are not normal clouds since they are all vertical clouds, pillars of clouds which is very unusual! The fact that the three pillars are also veiled by the three vertical clouds stresses the fact that the pillars and the clouds are linked. These are significant clues that the pillars represent the daytime ‘pillar of cloud’ representation of the Milky Way.
The pillars themselves appear in three styles ‘Doric’, ‘Ionic’ and ‘Corinthian’ representing Wisdom Strength and Beauty that are the attributes of the pillars that support a Scottish Rite freemason’s Lodge. According to the website they also represent Solomon King of Israel, Hiram, King of Tyre and Hiram Abif.
The astronomical significance of Moses (representing the Sun) is revealed while he ascends mount Sinai on his way to receive the Ten Commandments from God. The cloud in the following Bible texts refers to the Milky Way. Now follow this:
The cloud is coming.
9 And the LORD said to Moses. “Lo, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you for ever.” (Ex. 19:9)
The cloud is on the mountain (at the junction) waiting for Moses the sun to arrive.
16 On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. (Ex. 19:16)
Moses the sun is ascending.
15 Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. (Ex. 24:15)
When Moses enters the tent (covering or covenant), the sun is crossing the Milky Way.
9 When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the door of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses. (Ex. 33:9)
Notice that the pillar of cloud stands at the door of the tent an indication of the erected Milky Way as it appears in the summer night sky.
One might argue that the association of the pillar of cloud with the Milky Way are wild speculations, but me must remember there is another clue given by the Scottish Rite freemasons mentioning the fact that Moses his tent or Tabernacle was erected due East and West according to a pattern shown by the Lord on Mount Sinai. This pattern corresponds with the ground plan of Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem! We are surely dealing with an astronomical event here, since all temples in ancient times where aligned to the rising and setting equinox Sun due East and West.
Another interesting fact is that Moses was on the Mount and in the clouds for 40 days and 40 nights.
And Moses entering into the midst of the cloud, went up into the mountain: And he was there forty days and forty nights. Exo 24:18
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Exo 34:28-29
Professor Sergey Smelyakov has calculated that the era of the Great Celestial Conjunction lasts exactly 39 years! This is the time that the Sun resides on the Milky Way during a Great Celestial Conjunction at solstices or equinoxes.
So the biblical account for the duration (whereas years are represented as days) of the Galactic Alignment era comes very close to the calculations made by professor Sergey Smelyakov. John Major Jenkins mentions era-2012 (1980-2016) as a period of 36 years. This period was calculated by the astronomer Jean Meeus, however Smelyakov has proven that his calculations are more accurate than the calculations made by Jean Meeus.
Finally in Revelation, the book that deals with the End of Time prophecies, we find another reference to the crossing of the Sun with the ‘pillars of fire’. The rainbow in the text symbolizes the ecliptic (arc of the sun).
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. (Rev. 10:1)
So from Earth our spiral galaxy is seen as a long, often curving band, that has been interpreted in a number of ways but most commonly as a self-eating serpent/dragon. For those who have read the Bible and particularly Revelations, they may remember that a serpent-dragon is often mentioned in relation to the apocalyptic disasters, and connected to a woman. Below are some versions of the Ouroboros dragon.
Sometimes it is seen as two dragons eating each other, which gives it more resemblance to a Yin Yang sign, especially as one of the dragons has wings and the other does not. This can be taken as a further clue. Further similarity to the Yin-Yang idea can be found in that the dragon often has a light half and a dark half (below the one from Egypt is an example). Other symbols for the Milky Way might include a tree and a road, all these were used by the earlier Maya as well as the Ouroboros image, the crocodile is also a long thin creature rather like a snake so that these images may have been intermixed. In Egypt crocodiles were holy that lived in the Nile and the Nile itself was a reflection of the Milky Way - a heavenly and earthly river, the same was true of other great rivers like the Ganges.

The Galactic Centre itself was then often the mouth, or in the mouth of a dragon-crocodile like creature.

This 'pillar' is easily interchangeable with the Tower of Babel in Babylon, the 'gate of god'. This is a 'stargate' theme. Isn't it intriguing, then, that Schwarzenegger's most popular movie character, the Terminator, is a cyborg that comes from the future through a 'stargate' machine?
This 'stargate' is also traditionally called 'Jacob's ladder', which has been identified with the Milky Way. Those who have read The Lucifer Time Code will recall that the significance accorded to the month of May this year has much to do with celestial configurations directly involving the Milky Way [and its 'stargate' points]!
Jacob's 'stargate' pillar-stone is also associated with the 'Stone of Destiny' which is related to Grail/Arthurian tradition. This reminds us of the fact that Arnold has a shadowy Enron connection (the corrupt energy company that imploded in 2001-2) and 'Enron' spelt backwards is 'Norne', the name of the three goddesses of fate (or destiny) in Norse mythology as discussed before.
Here is one of Nostradamus' quatrains often associated with the 'Antichrist' (I-76) that specifically mentions 'destiny' and alludes to Norne:

Schwarzenegger indeed has the 'barbaric' epithet, 'Terminator', but before he was the Terminator he was literally Conan the Barbarian!
So, all combined, the symbolism of Arnold's 'presidential' trip to Israel (= Jacob) over the Beltane/May-Day weekend is quite telling and meaningful.
Peak Oil is arriving. Chaos will ensue. And Arnold Schwarzenegger will be right there to assume leadership and forcefully maintain order even as the Titanic sinks into the abyss. A scenario that is becoming less and less improbable...
Okay, one more thing. This week saw a very unusual development of all the major US cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, FOX) carrying a remarkable story involving UFOs - how they were witnessed and acknowledged by the Mexican military - in a quite serious manner. I see this as a precursor to the coming announcement of the 'discovery' of life on Mars - i.e. my Projection 'A' for May (and beyond).
The way I see it, those 'UFOs' are probably 'ours', as in non-extraterrestrial (something out of very deep military-industrial black projects). I can actually detect a parallel between the Nick Berg video and this UFO news (both came out just about at the same time). The 'shock & awe' video, on a practical level, had the very convenient function of softening the impact of the Iraq prisoner abuse photos. (Who benefited the most from the public display of extreme savagery?) Rumsfeld is certainly feeling less pressure at this time, and Cheney is happy that Rumsfeld still has his job since without him at the top of the Pentagon the neoconservative network that Cheney uses to run his 'shadow government' would quickly collapse.

Our solar system flies through space in the shape of a speeding bullet, according to data from NASA's two Voyager spacecraft.
The sun and its planets are known to streak through the void of space at approximately 62,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) an hour.
The system travels within a bubble of solar wind—made of charged particles from the sun—called the heliosphere.
The edge of this bubble collides with the Milky Way galaxy's magnetic field at a distance some 200 times farther from the sun than Earth is.
A research team led by Merav Opher at Virginia's George Mason University found that, just outside the solar system, this interstellar magnetic field is inclined at a 60-degree angle relative to the plane of the Milky Way.
The solar system takes on its streamlined shape as it strikes the magnetic field at this angle, Opher explained.

"The [prevailing] idea is that the environment just outside our solar system is patchy and turbulent," she added.

BIG CLUE IN 'NATIONAL TREASURE II' FOR THE NEXT SEQUEL
Right at the end of the movie 'National Treasure II' the producers presented a teaser suggesting there will be a National Treasure III and what its plot will be based on. The US president asks Gates if he was able to look at page 47 of a secret presidential book he was fortunate to browse through. Gates replies yes he did see it and yes he will be able to help with it. He then said its contents were 'life altering'!
Two movies now both dealing with Freemason secrets... both known for revealing historical material with an element of fiction... both hinting to reveal something monumental once hidden in secret books. What first came to Wayne’s attention about this portrait was the geometry. It closely resembles the geometry he has found in virtually all the most famous of Leonardo Da Vinci’s paintings. What intrigues Wayne about the Renaissance paintings is how artists like DaVinci and Poussin have encrypted a blueprint of the star origin secret behind the human form into their symbolic subject matter. They seemed to obsess in the geometry with pride, perhaps showing other elite masters that they too know the grand secret. So what is the meaning of this? The human form blueprint is depicted as geometrically unique and as a 'star man'. In the context of murals showing angels or the Christ story, or of significant monuments embellished with star themes, the hidden message strongly suggests that humanity was one from the stars.
The Washington DC city layout seems to prove in identical fashion that this ancient knowledge was a reality.
Take a close look at the reproduced rendition of the Washington map below, onto which a copy of the original map has been overlaid. Note how it is tilted at 33 degrees. This is the highest level of Freemasonry to which George Washington apparently belonged. The map is of the unique layout that Washington proposed for his city: Washington DC.
George Washington himself provides the first clue. He points to the planned foundation for a spectacular monument. Today the building that stands in this spot is recognized as the largest building (in terms of its base area) visible from space since the building of the pyramids: The Pentagon.
Fort Runyon was the initial landmark built on this site 60 years after the death of George Washington (well before the Pentagon project). It appears to have been the first attempt at building a star shaped monument, like the base of the Statue of Liberty in traditional Roman style. It looked somewhat like the monument proposed as the ultimate star monument down the causeway of the Vatican Piazza in another example of Wayne's shocking star map theories: The five-pointed star-shaped fortress that became a focal point of Dan Brown's 'Angels and Demons'.
In later years the American Defense Department's Pentagon replaced it in the area George Washington is pointing to on the map. This building's breaking of the ground ceremony in traditional Masonic style took place on:
September the 11th 1941.
In many ancient civilizations as proposed in 'The Hidden Records' it would appear that all the major pyramid cities chose a spectacular monument for this particular Sun-like star correlation.
Without going into all the detail and reasoning what Wayne believes these cultures of days gone by wanted to represent, this star was the place of human evolutional beginnings in the heavens.

They also found a way to build the monument as being representative of its significance: In some cases as a star representing the divine proportion of the human form as a pentacle. (ref human blueprint code link earlier).
What is absolutely phenomenal about the design of the Pentagon is that its orientation is such that it almost precisely matches the controversial five-sided D&M pyramid ruin on Mars. Mars is 'The Hidden Records' most controversial star map! Not only is it in a place not of this world, where evidence is mounting, proving that Earth-like conditions once existed on the 'red planet'. But it mirrors the same pyramid star map layouts on Earth, and the tracing board with by far the most exacting star position correlations and geometrical proportions.
Both the five-sided monument on Earth and that on Mars have a matching triangular pointer oriented North.
Both correlate with the very same Sun-like star… the second most important Sun-like star in the ancient civilization star maps. (listed as HD 282943)
Compare the inserted image of the D&M five-sided pyramid on Mars with the Pentagon in the Washington DC city image.
George Washingtons sword points to the place of the most important monument. It is the great obelisk celebrated in ancient Egyptian tradition as the ultimate solar obelisk. On Mars it is celebrated with a mountain-sized rendition of a human face. This is the ultimate monument correlating with the ultimate star (also measurable on a star atlas as a Sun-like star) - the prime star system of our ancestors. It is this star system that Wayne identifies as the most likely match for the Freemason's "blazing star."
The Egyptians built their ultimate obelisk at the center of their pyramid field, they adorned its capstone with gold to celebrate the "blazing star" of Ra, the probable domicile of our ancestors.

The third most important monument is shown with the symbolic mason's chisel that Washington's wife is holding. It points to Capitol Hill: a splendid mansion surrounded by a garden in the outline of a crescent. From his research base, Wayne has established that the ancients (especially the Sumerians) revered this shape as the world of their human ancestors bathed in a crescent of light radiated down on it from its blazing sun, a Sun-like star like our own. Here it is represented by the great obelisk.
And last but not least, Washington's daughter's strange hand gesture marks the place of the pentacle symbolic of the human blueprint. It aligns with Washington DC's most famous Masonic lodge and the great blazing star Washington monument obelisk.
The final piece of the puzzle is somewhat hypothetical and is currently being explored further. It is the shape that is visible from space outlining the Rosslyn and Arlington areas. From above (especially when illuminated at night and highlighted in blue and white in the image below) it appears to match the shape of the sacred Egyptian 'leg of the bull' icon. As already established in 'The Hidden Records', this shape represented the stars of the Pleiades for the ancient Egyptians.
The map of Washington DC appears to be a star map of the Pleiades and its nearby 'trinity' of Sun-like stars. The obelisk is in the position of the "blazing star" (in typical Egyptian style solar obelisk representation) and the Pentagon is in the right orientation and position (exactly as in the case of the Mars anomalies) representing the Human genesis Sun-like star position. Both of these stars are stars that have been catalogued by astronomers as 'G' spectrum and are stars exactly like our own Sun.
A landmark to represent the third star is still open to speculation. One would need to fly over this area at night to see the whole city when 'illuminated'. There are two circular areas visible via satellite: one is the military cemetery and the other is also a military establishment. Watch this space for an update.
THE SACRED TREE, THE PENTACLE AND THE ANGEL
There is more. The aerial view of Washington DC has a large circular field positioned next to the great obelisk and is gently highlighted in red on the Washington DC map. It is the field where another representation of the ‘blazing star’ occurs… once a year. Its chosen position near the obelisk is hardly a coincidence.
It is the place of the celebrated Yule tree: Washington DC's Christmas tree.
The origins of the Yule tree tradition may even predate Christianity itself.
The pine tree was chosen for its conical shape, which Wayne is absolutely convinced represents the beam of light coming down from humanity's star of origin. It was always adorned with a five-pointed star or angel positioned at its top.
Wayne is certain the star/ladder with beam of light touching the Earth celebrates the Egyptian secret in the Senmut tomb, the Freemason document and another that Dan Brown is no doubt also including in his next book. It is the earliest Hebrew talisman from the Clavicular Solomonis manuscript, probably the actual talisman that will soon be recognized as the Key of Solomon itself:

Wayne is certain that the "blazing star" is also synonymous with the Bethlehem star. The star that the three Magi (Orion's 'belt') 'follow' (an alignment) from the East (stars rise in the East) to find the location of the star associated with the birth of Christ (Bethlehem star).

Consider the symbolism here. Either a five-pointed star or an angel is placed at the top of the tree, either way both seem to celebrate those that came down from the heavens arriving on this Earth.
The image below shows the carol singers in Washington DC beneath the great Yule tree with "blazing star" on Christmas Eve.
Imagine how this would appear to an advanced intelligence observing this ceremony from space: If anything Washington DC would appear like a recognizable star map from above, with the great illuminated obelisk representing the "blazing star" and the tree visible behind the carol singers duplicating the meaning of the obelisk... a star with symbolic beam of light coming down from it. The two celebrate the same secret.
Little did these singers realize how they look when viewed from above in the context of all of the symbolism that unbeknown to them, surrounded them. The singers would have been oblivious to the long lost symbolism of the Yule tree, and the significance it and the obelisk nearby holds in commemorating the history of the most important question we all ask at some time or another: Who are we and where do we come from? Ironically Christ also makes mention of "his" star of beginnings in the recently discovered Gospel of Judas where he explains in his last hours: "This star is also 'your' star"... the star of humanity.
Ever wonder why the 25th of December was chosen to celebrate the birth of Christ? Well here is another interesting thing. The day previously celebrated an occasion also relating to the Yule tree tradition: Sol Invictus - The Unconquered Sun.
Before Christ, it was a celebration for the ‘birth’ of the great Sun. No... not the great Son… the great Sun. It happened around the period of the Summer solstice… the 25th December. It was the chosen day previously on which three known Solar deities were worshipped, inadvertently so because in all fairness they should really have been 'honored' and not worshipped.
In all probability, according to Wayne's research the Sun rising on the 25th celebrates the memory of our origins from three great heavenly Suns that our ancestors came from (as seen in the Tracing Board on this page and in the ancient star maps already covered on this website).
When the notorious Roman Emperor Constantine declared Christianity's place in society, he conveniently replaced 'Sun' worship with 'Son' worship. He kept as much of the old tradition in place and made the new tradition fit in as he saw fit. Hence Christians adapted this day thereafter to celebrate the day of the birth of the Son... and no longer the birth or the Sun.
WASHINGTON’S ‘NATIONAL TREASURE’ THE DOLLAR BILL, SECRET NUMBERS, SECRET SYMBOLS, THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, THE MAYA AND THE SECRET KEY OF SOLOMON
A code encrypted in George Washington’s secret map unlocks a National Treasure.
With the sequel to the Walt Disney production of ‘National Treasure’ hitting the box offices in yet another huge success story for director Jerry Bruckheimer one cannot help but wonder how much of the dramatisation is based on real Masonic secrets cloaked in the guise of fiction. (Click the icon at the top of the page to get to the National Treasure website). Even if you may already suspect this, few if any have been able to prove that the film’s subject matter is based on real history. History that has been kept a tightly guarded secret from us for so long!
In the film, it was the pursuit of a grand treasure that had us all glued to the screen. Author of the controversial book - The Hidden Records - Wayne Herschel has found convincing proof that in reality there could be a national treasure, and it is not gold at all. It is something far greater. This website will put this two-part movie saga to the test. Are the clues real, and if so why do they tantalise our interest to the degree they do? Could it be because they could potentially unlock a treasure that will forever challenge the foundations of all religions?
Many may feel that by exposing what is about to be revealed here, we could be treading on sensitive toes. Given this possibility, Wayne would like to say at the outset that his motive is purely to share with the world a magnificent and enlightening truth. Moreover this revelation acknowledges that Freemasonry was originally based on a constructive, inspiring truth. Having said this, this article detaches itself entirely from any Masonic interpretations, and the interpretations presented here are entirely Wayne Herschel’s own. Interpretations that he derives from ancient clues left behind by virtually every ancient civilization across the globe.
Many will be surprised to find that inadvertently, be it intentional or not, a real treasure trail ingeniously makes itself known, once we look more closely. And what it does is revive a whole wealth of ancient knowledge kept hidden from us for so long. New evidence is now at hand that provides an astounding answer to the age-old question: Who are we and where do we come from?
One could speculate wildly and cry conspiracy theory: Are the powers-that-be beginning to realize that their most fundamental secret is at risk of being cracked at any moment? One cannot help wondering, considering that quite recently Masonic scholars appear to have made available (via a university website) their foundational historical records. Perhaps divulging snippets of their secret in a film is their way of softening the truth around it, or an ingenious way of diverting attention from the truth. Wayne says he believes: "If anything, those in the know are probably preparing us for a great revelation. After all, we are a planet of millions of diversely religiously sensitive people and who knows what a new and profound piece of knowledge could set off."
All the clues point in the same direction. To one truth that will no longer remain locked in forgotten vaults as hidden records.
THE SECRET – AN EARTH INVASION – THE FLOOD
For those who are unfamiliar with Wayne Herschel’s book, ‘The Hidden Records’, or his latest updated findings on his website, then you are probably wondering what is being referred to here as the grand secret?
Wayne claims to have identified a global collection of ancient star maps with pictographic encryptions. The encryptions suggest in various ways that the human lineage is descendant of celestial beings that once came from above. All our religions speak of them. They are most likely also the so-called ‘gods’ of ancient civilizations. In other words what this new evidence is telling us is that we all originate from flesh and blood beings that came down from the stars and arrived here on planet Earth.
As a premise to this article, what we need to consider is the probability that the human race has heavenly origins. This is in tune with extensive research on the subject, drawing on evidence that the ancients have left behind, on which author, Wayne Herschel basis his theories. This basis is imperative to questioning the validity of the great secret that you will read about in this article, and more importantly why it has become a global secret. There have been countless books and films dramatizing a potential occurrence that has always captured our imagination: The possibility of aliens invading Earth. At some time or other, most of us have probably pondered on the possibility of a real invasion one day in the future.
Ironically, such an alien invasion of Earth appears to have already occurred.
We are those who once came from the heavens.
The prime invasion was in all likelihood some 17 000 years ago. The last surviving primitive Earth hominid, the Neanderthal, that roamed Earth at the time would not even have known what had hit him. Driven by fear of these new arrivals, this once naturally evolved inhabitant of our planet would have fled to areas where conditions were extreme, food rare and a climate too harsh for their prolonged survival. Some may even have contracted strange diseases from these celestial human beings that now roamed their land. Diseases that would completely compromise their immune systems! And if all these factors were not enough to lead to their extermination, a cataclysmic flood 10 000 years ago would have guaranteed their final demise.
From all his research, Wayne is convinced that a meteor impact event probably caused the oceans to destroy the existing civilizations on Earth literally in the blink of the eye, bringing on a ‘dark age’ of freezing conditions and no Sun. It is fact that the last Earth-evolved hominid, the Neanderthal, became extinct 10 000 years ago. At the same time human beings were reduced to living as primitive hunters and gatherers. After a few generations had passed, they seemed to have completely forgotten who they were and where they had come from. In essence:
Beings from a nearby star system invaded Earth and robbed the Neanderthal population of its planet.
Everything in Wayne Herschel’s research points to a verifiable hypothesis for the missing link – from powerful ape to a the very frail human being. And with one of the most controversial arguments ever, his theory completely steers away from the out-of-Africa origin theory where evolution is mysteriously thought to have quantum leaped in speed and where quite inexplicably, fossil records do not exist.
Wayne’s latest research involves identifying how the human lineage is not naturally equipped for this world at all.
Our bones are around 30% weaker and more porous than the Neanderthal's and that of all apes. Moreover our muscles connections are almost 30% less efficiently connected, once again compared to the Neanderthal and other apes.
And that is only one aspect of a whole array of incongruities!
Wayne believes Masonic history hints at the shocking possibility of three 'waves' of Earth invasions. And its First Degree tracing board suggests a chronology of the three epochs when this may have occurred.
In short, Wayne insists that the human lineage evolved in a world (or worlds) somewhere close to us in our galaxy the Milky Way. In all likelihood, such a world would have been much smaller and further from their Sun, a star that would be just like our Sun. Also, given the incongruities the human form displays by our incompatibility with planet Earth, radiation emissions in such a world would have been lower, as would gravity. Hence, such a world would have been more conducive to the existence of human life. It would have been a world that was once similar to Mars – when it had an atmosphere and oceans.

Would it be that inconceivable to imagine that we are the descendants of these once highly technologically adept god-like celestial visitors? Human beings like you and I, who could perform the kind of miracles recorded in all our holy books and ancient records?
Sadly, our heavenly origins appear to have been kept from us by a select few: Elite citizens of our past civilizations who knew the secret. Their great kings were probably re-visited by the returning advanced beings in their celestial ships that sailed down from the stars. They would have been told that they are of the same people. How would they deal with this knowledge? Without doubt it could be manipulated and make more powerful kings of them if they kept it a secret. They could raise themselves to the same God-like status as the awe inspiring celestial visitors. They too would become revered by the masses that had absolutely no idea that they too were children of the gods, despite their 'lowly' status.
It seemed to get worse than this. Historical records suggest that there were numerous civilizations, which were also visited and enlightened by the 'celestial gods'. The diverse belief systems that would emerge from this array of diverse civilizations, would argue that only they could be the 'chosen' people.
The dawning of the so-called 'holy war' phenomenon had begun.
Each civilization believed it was 'God's will' that they could conquer foreign lands and govern its people as slaves.
Over the ages, history has shown that humanity has always failed on the subject of equality, and to this date this iniquity prevails in many societies, in particular regarding the status of women. With this in mind it is no wonder that our sacred awe-inspiring origins were kept secret. If revealed it would prove every human life as equal, sacred and of heavenly origin.
Such a truth would dispense with the global advantage of access to convenient labour.
Wayne firmly believes that if the grand secret of our celestial human origins were to have been made common knowledge BEFORE an understanding was reached as to how this knowledge fits in with the pyramid civilizations, Freemasonry, Ufology and more importantly RELIGION, its release would have risked jeopardizing all the constructive attributes of every single belief system on our planet.
This may well be the reasoning behind more recent efforts to keep the records of our past completely hidden.
Another reason why our heavenly origins may have been kept a tightly guarded secret over the ages could be ascribed to the very mechanism most likely designed to protect it.
In the past few thousand years anything that opposed mainstream religious teaching was considered heretical. Spiritual searchers could find themselves being burnt at the stake. To protect the secret that we are all of divine origin from being exposed, it appears the ancient texts were cleverly embedded with texts on misleading destructive ritual magic and witchcraft. Later those trying to decipher it would become confused with the hidden codes because of the harmful material it supposedly formed part of.
The ancient records inadvertently inspired the worship of the Sun and Taurus the Bull.
And it is thanks to this misinterpretation that the off-track and destructive Sun-worship cults began. And with these very off-track religions came a huge problem that has permeated history: An inordinate number of lost and confused souls. Over time very few ancient texts carried any clarity at all, let alone provide us with answers to our most basic questions. Most are riddled with strange symbolism and mysticism that only served to bewilder us even more.
What was once a clever yet effective protection mechanism for the secret - ultimately became the reason it was forgotten. And the elite societies that this secret may have been passed down to, from generation to generation, seemed to have forgotten the essence of what was relevant and what was not.
Blind faith is not quite the order of the day.
We now live in a freethinking world where unquestioning belief in what tradition has told us, is fast making way for reasoning towards the truth.
Much as is the case in 'National Treasure', the United States' secret history goes back to the Olmec, the earliest people who populated North America. They became the great Mayan civilization, which then became the various American Indian civilizations. Wayne has evidence that they all appear to have known the grand secret and left records of it (now online on this website).
Now let us begin with what appear to be real clues: The one dollar bill.

THE US ONE DOLLAR BILL AND THE GREAT SECRET
George Washington was a Freemason and no doubt inspired the design of the great seal of the United States of America seen on the one-dollar bill.
Washington is probably the most famous American Freemason of all time. This elite fraternity based its society around what it calls the great secret of the key of Hiram. Hiram Abiff was a legendary character that was supposedly murdered for a grand secret.
Wayne identifies two of the main components integral to the grand secret you are about to read about here. It upholds human equality and appears to be focused around the greatness of a single universal Creator.
It is likely that Washington was the last Mason who had a complete understanding of the cosmic secret. He probably took it to the grave. Freemasons today have officially made it quite clear that the big secret about the Freemasons is that there really is no great secret. They have published many books insisting such. Much of their fast evolving symbolism has been published, always with multiple interpretation possibilities depending on the source, leaving it up to the individual to decipher its complexity.
So the place to start a treasure hunt for the truth would be to look at the earliest symbols and manuscripts of the Freemasons.
Take a close look at the two seals of the American one-dollar bill above. One theme portrays a pyramid with an all-seeing eye on its capstone. To the Masons and most researchers this eye represents God.
The primary clue that led Wayne to interpreting the seal in the animation above (where three stars are positioned around the capstone in the heavens, with the pyramid on Earth below), was inspired by matching the two 'blazing light' themes on both the seals. For Wayne this theme seems to hiding an ‘enlightening’ secret. There is a triangular pattern match between the capstone and the inner triangle of stars.
In the image above, the pyramid capstone (and pyramid) was positioned over the seal with the Eagle so the capstone covered the counterpart star shape made by the centre portion of the star formation. Only when one seal is positioned exactly over the other, the eagle’s wing tips, feet and tail make contact with the letters comprising the word m-a-s-o-n.
Quite uncannily, the 'three star' formation as an inverted triangle also matches the original Freemason First Degree Tracing board theme seen below, which has been released by the Bradford University in the UK.
A trinity of three heavenly bodies seems to be represented here. Notice that the “blazing star” is a seven pointed star, which Wayne believes could be symbolic of the Masons' all-important blazing star being located in the proximity or alignment of the seven stars of the Pleiades. Is this three star pattern another clue? Could it be beckoning one to consider the idea of a heavenly trinity? More specifically it seems to represent the historical record of the original pre-Christian "solar trinity" of the heavens. This question is addressed a little later with references.
When scribing the word MASON, a unique pattern comes to the fore. This pattern is a replica of that found on another important Solomon talisman: (found in the Clavicular Solomonis archives manuscript seen below).

Note how the talisman incorporates the sacred cross of Lorraine, which also appears to be the spectacular secret behind the Rosslyn Chapel's ceiling - a pattern that geometrically incorporates the human blueprint code as a 'star man'.
We already mentioned the earliest ancient American civilizations in this article. The Freemason link to these peoples of times gone by is another real clue that has permeated 'National Treasure II'. Incidentally, the eagle in the seal is also found in the beginnings of the Olmec, who then became the Maya.
The Maya genesis legend has an eagle clutching a serpent and not a scroll as seen in 'National Treasure II' or the spears seen on the one–dollar bill. If the scroll is not a real historical clue, Wayne wonders if the Disney movie script writers created the scroll to suggest subtly that the real treasure is not gold but lost knowledge.
Much like the ancient Egyptians the constellation of Taurus was an integral part of the religion of the Maya, which also centered on Sun worship. This seems to run parallel to what we know about the Masons from their Tracing Board. Like the Egyptians, the Maya also built their earliest monuments as a star map emulating the place of their gods in the heavens. The image below shows the layout of what are probably some of the Maya's oldest monuments. Found at Tikal in Guatemala, everything in Wayne's research as already published in 'The Hidden Records' point to these pyramids representing the stars of the Pleiades and some important nearby Sun-like stars.
It is absolutely intriguing that the First Degree Tracing Board appears to single out this exact same star pattern that this pyramid layout in Central America is based on.
DE LABOULAYE AND THE STATUE OF LIBERTY
Another clue explored in 'National Treasure II' is arguably the United States' most famous landmark, the Statue of Liberty. Even its architect and the secret message found embedded into the statue come into their own in the film. The statue in New York was designed by Edouarde De Laboulaye and was based on the Roman Goddess Libertas, who was the goddess of liberty. Statue remains of this goddess were found on two of the seven legendary hills of Rome. The Roman goddess was however not often depicted with rays of light emanating in the way they emanate from 'Lady Liberty'. (For more on the incontrovertible relationship that the Seven Hills of Rome has with this story, see the Vatican link later on in this article).
Aside from her connection to the Roman goddess of Liberty, 'Lady Liberty' also seems to have a connection with an ancient solar deity. The beams of light radiating outward from her head are the clue. There are seven rays of light and the only other ancient deity who was portrayed in this way was the Solar deity, Apollo.
Tourists who climb to the top of the statue and look downward from the viewing area in the sky should notice that her base consists of a vast geometric star. What is truly phenomenal about this and probably does not occur to most visitors is that this star is so big that it can be seen from space.
This deliberate choice of symbolism seems to be even more reason as to why we should look for the answers to what it all means, in the stars.
Not only does she appear to ‘radiate’ light like the solar deity Apollo, but also for Wayne, her seven beams of light are a clue to part of her secret. For him, in congruence with his plethora of research on pyramid star maps, this seems to suggest that there is a single star of importance and it is found near the Pleiades star cluster.
Because the light radiation emulates that of an ancient solar deity, this could be the crucial clue to what kind of star her blazing star really is:
A star like our Sun.
There is a Masonic document that shows a single orb, radiating light like the Sun. This orb correlates with a star that is in this exact position thousands of years ago seen in the star atlas image that follows a little later. The star in question according to the Hubble telescope records is exactly like our Sun and it only fits perfectly in that position 17 000 years ago! It is the ultimate star of the Freemasons. They call it their Blazing star. (See Tracing Board star document above, the Blazing star that is shown with a ladder/beam of light).
As in the case of the movie, there really is a hidden message on the Statue of Liberty, although not specifically on the French statue, but engraved on a cornerstone plaque on the original statue in New York.
It clearly commemorates a Masonic ceremony and if anything the inscription hints at the next clue:
The key phrase is where the plaque speaks of "Liberty enlightening the world."
What secret could be so spectacular that she would be able to enlighten the whole world? Is it a spiritual secret? Synonyms for the words enlighten and enlightenment, are as follows:
More clues? Not only does she appear to be holding a spiritual secret, but this secret also appears to be secret knowledge.
Ponder on this thought!
It is worth questioning the earlier references to Apollo as a 'solar' deity from the heavens. We really should be considering flesh and blood visitors originating from another star 'solar' system. Tradition seems to have added bird-wings to our ancestral visitors as a teaching mechanism explaining their ability of flight to believers!
Now, getting back to Schwarzenegger's trip, let's address the question of 'why Israel?' First, we can see that for a 'messianic' figure it would be quite natural to go there... to get 'baptized' (or whatever). Note that the Oak King is 'born' on the winter solstice/Yule, historically associated with Christmas, thus also with the birth of Jesus. In other words, the Oak King is an alter ego of the 'Messiah'. And the acting Oak King, Arnie, just went 'back' to the Holy Land...
But more interestingly, the name 'Israel' comes from a biblical figure who was originally called Jacob. He is associated with something akin to the Tower of Babel (Babylon/'gate of god') or 'stargate', as we read in Genesis:
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. (28:16-17)
The line 'How dreadful is this place!' is thought to be connected to Rennes-le-Chateau in south France where, at its church's entrance, the visitor would encounter a strange Latin inscription that reads 'TERRIBILIS EST LOCUS ISTE' ('This place is terrible'). Thanks to the great success of The Da Vinci Code, now many people recognize that Rennes-le-Chateau is inseparable from the underground tradition of Mary Magdalene (= 'tower'). Not surprisingly, the subsequent Genesis passages mentions 'pillar':
And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. And he called the name of that place Beth-el... And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house... (28:18-19, 22)
This 'pillar' is easily interchangeable with the Tower of Babel in Babylon, the 'gate of god'. This is a 'stargate' theme. Isn't it intriguing, then, that Schwarzenegger's most popular movie character, the Terminator, is a cyborg that comes from the future through a 'stargate' machine?
This 'stargate' is also traditionally called 'Jacob's ladder', which has been identified with the Milky Way. Those who have read The Lucifer Time Code will recall that the significance accorded to the month of May this year has much to do with celestial configurations directly involving the Milky Way [and its 'stargate' points]!
Jacob's 'stargate' pillar-stone is also associated with the 'Stone of Destiny' which is related to Grail/Arthurian tradition. This reminds us of the fact that Arnold has a shadowy Enron connection (the corrupt energy company that imploded in 2001-2) and 'Enron' spelt backwards is 'Norne', the name of the three goddesses of fate (or destiny) in Norse mythology as discussed before.
Here is one of Nostradamus' quatrains often associated with the 'Antichrist' (I-76) that specifically mentions 'destiny' and alludes to Norne:
The man will be called by a barbaric name that three sisters will receive from destiny. He will speak then to a great people in words and deeds, more than any other man will have fame and renown.
Schwarzenegger indeed has the 'barbaric' epithet, 'Terminator', but before he was the Terminator he was literally Conan the Barbarian!
So, all combined, the symbolism of Arnold's 'presidential' trip to Israel (= Jacob) over the Beltane/May-Day weekend is quite telling and meaningful.
Peak Oil is arriving. Chaos will ensue. And Arnold Schwarzenegger will be right there to assume leadership and forcefully maintain order even as the Titanic sinks into the abyss. A scenario that is becoming less and less improbable...
Okay, one more thing. This week saw a very unusual development of all the major US cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, FOX) carrying a remarkable story involving UFOs - how they were witnessed and acknowledged by the Mexican military - in a quite serious manner. I see this as a precursor to the coming announcement of the 'discovery' of life on Mars - i.e. my Projection 'A' for May (and beyond).
The way I see it, those 'UFOs' are probably 'ours', as in non-extraterrestrial (something out of very deep military-industrial black projects). I can actually detect a parallel between the Nick Berg video and this UFO news (both came out just about at the same time). The 'shock & awe' video, on a practical level, had the very convenient function of softening the impact of the Iraq prisoner abuse photos. (Who benefited the most from the public display of extreme savagery?) Rumsfeld is certainly feeling less pressure at this time, and Cheney is happy that Rumsfeld still has his job since without him at the top of the Pentagon the neoconservative network that Cheney uses to run his 'shadow government' would quickly collapse.
By showing the extreme, people's threshold of tolerance is easily changed. So, by implying in the mainstream news, at least temporarily, that there may really be ETs visiting this planet in flying saucers, the general public's 'tolerance level' gets adjusted and thereby becoming ready mentally for the 'life on Mars' announcement that may be in the works now.
The fact that the ESA guys (Europe) are apparently getting ready to make such an announcement in July or September this year tells me that NASA/US may now have a motive to make its own 'life on Mars' announcement' before them. Chances are NASA already has more than enough evidence. So why let the Europeans steal the limelight? The limelight outweighs secrecy at this point, I would think.
It will be interesting to see how/if these scenarios will unfold in the coming weeks.

Inspiration for the Calendar—Our Connection to Nature
As with the previous years' calendars, The 2013 Astrotheology Calendar contains information never before published in any of Acharya's books. (Also as before, there is no hole in this calendar-book, but you can easily hang it using a push-pin/tack.)
The Cygnus "bow in the clouds" occurs where there is a "cloud over the earth." The celestial earth is the ecliptic path or plane. When the "tabernacle of the sun" at the vernal equinox is at its farthest distance below the galactic cloud, that is the moment defined in the covenant with Noah. That bow is in the middle of the body of Quetzalcoatl, where the Fox and the Hummingbird reach the moment of the rising sun. Thus the second cosmogenesis of Exodus is the same moment as the cosmogenesis of the Popol Vuh. The distinction is that the relationship between Gemini, all animals two by two, and Sagittarius, the bow of gnosis, implies that the zodiac message is meant by Genesis. This is the fundamental meaning of the Thieve's Cross and the struggle between Seven Hunahpu and Seven Macaw. The Popol Vuh is unambiguous in declaring that the way back to the First Father is through the Caiman Tree as Quetzalcoatl and out of the mouth of First Mother. Cygnus is the "first" asterism in the mouth at Quetzalcoatl. The meaning is quite clear. Gnosis and rational understanding are not pathways to truth, only experience in Mother Nature will reveal truth. The Popol Vuh and the story of Noah agree, that the way to reincarnated life is through the cosmic waters of the galaxy to the swan of satisfaction.
This truth is so obvious, that one wonders why it has to be said in all the great rituals of humanity. The answer to this enigma is the loss of the head of First Father. All youths pass through the Xibalba Be of adolescence, when denial of ancestors is mandatory to develop self identity. But, this passage is confounded by many tricksters, the most dominant being head strong (Maya) or stiff necked (Exodus) behavior. Once we get through the adolescent passages in our lives, they become barriers to returning to youthful arrogance. But, that is another trickster, for arrogance is just the excess faith in the self to get through the game of life. Hunahpu is One Hunahpu returning to pass through an arrogant adolescence in order to recover the loss of the use of a clear head. Here is where Western Culture ventures deep into Xibalba, and far fewer return than should. The perches placed along the modern Xibalba Be, which is also our road in the underworld of subliminal motivations, keep many a cocky person from reaching the birth canal of Mother Nature and seeing the true light in the superliminal world, where "free will" is just an extension of "cosmic will."
When we center up the heavens at the spring equinox of 2012 (left, below), it is clear that this is the true moment of cosmogenesis. The plane of the vernal equinox passes through the trunk of the Tree of Life. At the top of the tree in the prior age is the head of One Hunahpu in the form of Cepheus. At the bottom of the Tree of Life in the New Age is the body of One Hunahpu, with his feet in the "First Fire," which is the holocaust of the prior age. This is what the world had been waiting for, ever since Hunahpu and Xbalanque went to Xibalba to retrieve the spirit of First Father. To the winter solstice side of the tree is the reborn king in its western branches. The salvation path is up the trunk to Cygnus on the back of Pegasus.
On the autumn solstice (right, above) of 2012 we see the First Mother and First Father back in the land of maize with the jaguar. Here in the land of the Jaguar God and the Maize God, One Hunahpu returns to Happy Hunting Grounds. The Popol Vuh is a story about creation. It is one of many versions of the Greatest Story Ever Told. This book was not written by human hands, it was seen by loving eyes, and passed on for many generations in rituals, legends, and myths. It was written at the genesis of the cosmos.
LA SOMBRA DE LA LUNA EN LA PIEL DE LA MADRE TIERRA

LUNAR (sombra de la Luna) en la Piel de la Madre (Tierra)
El pasado 4 de enero de 2011, coincidiendo con el momento en que la Nave Tierra estaba en el punto de su órbita más cercano al Sol (perihelio) la Luna pasó entre la Tierra y el Sol. Esto no tiene nada de particular en cuanto que ocurre cada 29 días y medio. Lo particular es que el satélite cruzó por la línea entre el Sol y el umbral del amanecer de la Tierra en el momento en que la región de la Península Ibérica pasa del lado nocturno al diurno, de modo que los navegantes humanos de la Nave Tierra que viven ahí pudieron tomar la sombra de la Luna durante un rato. Se vio desde Cataluña (como desde Barcelona) aunque no desde Galicia porque la región gallega estuvo cubierta por las nubes. La sombra de la Luna no eclipsó a España, pues España está en otra dimensión en la que los españoles mantienen su propia sombra que llaman "crisis". Tres centros, el del Sol, el de la Luna y el de las pupilas (más negras que la Luna o la propia sombra de la Luna), estarán en conjunción y alineación. Fue un eclipse parcial.
Dado que la sombra de la Luna se proyectó en el umbral del amanecer de la Madre Tierra (su hermana Tierra), pudo verse al amanecer y por tanto hacia el oriente (este).
Amanecer del 4 de enero de 2011 en Galicia, al NorOeste de la Península Ibérica.
Mientras el planeta gira y la región en la que vivimos cruza el umbral de noche y día, las personas "amanecemos" y recuperamos la línea de visión del Sol. Amanecemos nosotros aunque decimos que "amanece el Sol" o "amanece el día". Así, mientras la "Cabeza de Iberia" amanece el día 4 de enero se vio también a la Luna ya eclipsando parcialmente al Sol, de modo que Iberia amaneció con una especie de Visera cósmica. Desde Galicia (cubierta por las nubes ese día) se hubiese visto una "salida" de Sol y de Luna al mismo tiempo. La Luna y el Sol saliendo juntos, como novios. Por eso, aunque todos los eclipses y amaneceres son de categoría especial, este amanecer eclipsado o eclipse tempranero fue "fuera de categoría".
Dado que el eclipse puede durar unos 6 minutos (6x60 segundos), en este caso de eclipse de Sol en el amanecer es como si el día tardara en llegar 6 minutos más de lo que le corresponde. Durante ese tiempo la Luna hace de sombrilla o parasol cósmico. En ese tiempo la Nave planetaria gira 1,5 grados y se traslada 108.000 kms, y la Luna recorre unos 360 kms en sentido contrario al del planeta Tierra.

En 2011 se produce un eclipse de Sol el día 1 de junio. Es parcial, y 14 días después, el día 15, ocurre un eclipse total de Luna.
El eclipse de Sol (y la sombra de la Luna) es debido a la alineación de la Luna entre el Sol y una determinada franja del planeta, pues es el satélite el que se incorpora a la línea Sol/Tierra al desplazarse 30 veces más rápido que la Nave Tierra. Durante un eclipse de Sol, la velocidad a la que nos alcanza o nos rebasa la sombra de la Luna es el resultado de la suma de la velocidad de traslación de la Luna (a 1 km por segundo) y de nuestro desplazamiento (tan inevitable como involuntario) hacia el oriente debido al giro de la Tierra y ambos movimientos son en el mismo sentido. El diámetro de la sombra de la Luna en la superficie del planeta viene a tener un máximo de unos 270 kms. Esto significa que la sombra de la Luna, cual alfrombra en el suelo de la Casa Tierra, es unas 13 veces más pequeña que la propia Luna. También podríamos extender 148 veces la sombra de la Luna por la circunferencia ecuatorial del planeta.
Nosotros tenemos lunares en la piel, la superficie del cuerpo, pero no son provocados por una sombra proyectada por la "luna", palabra de la cual deriva "lunar". Sólo en la superficie de la Tierra puede haber un "lunar" creado por la Luna, cuando ésta pasa por la línea imaginaria que une al Sol y la Tierra y proyecta su sombra en el planeta. Así que, considerando al planeta como Madre (la de todas sus especies) podemos decir que, a veces, a la Madre le aparece un lunar en su Piel: la sombra de la Luna.

Un eclipse de Sol por sí solo ya es un fenómeno espectacular independientemente de que sea considerado algo más que un evento astronómico. Sin duda que es una gran coincidencia que un puntito tan pequeño como es el planeta Tierra reciba la sombra de un puntito 3,6 veces aún más pequeño (la Luna) mientras flotan circulando por una región espacial tan inmensa y "vacía" como es el Sistema solar. Tan inmensa es que si abarcáramos en nuestro campo de visión sólo media órbita de la Tierra, no podríamos ver a la Tierra ni apenas distinguir el área orbital de la Luna. Aquí vemos al Sol (que es 109 veces más grande que el planeta Tierra) en el centro de las órbitas, y a "otro Sol" en el perímetro de la órbita de la Tierra. La imagen es a escala.
Pero la coincidencia es aún mayor cuando a tal alineación Tierra/Luna/Sol se suma otro punto más, pero no cualquiera, sino el punto básico: el propio Centro de la galaxia, lo cual ya depende de que la Tierra llegue al punto de su órbita en el momento en que para nosotros es 19 de diciembre y la Luna coincida en fase nueva. El día 24 de noviembre del año 29 ocurrió un eclipse así en Jerusalén al mediodía con la Tierra ante la Luna y el Sol y el Centro galáctico.

Y además, dado que el Sol está situado entre el Centro Galáctico y la región en la que desde la Tierra vemos a la constelación de Orión, ésta estaba justo detrás de la Tierra.

Y ésta más cerca y con más en detalle.
Con el cielo de la región de Jerusalén despejado, se habría visto a la Luna ocultando al Sol en plena franja de la Vía Láctea. Eso sí, difícilmente se distinguiría el Centro de la galaxia. Si pasas el cursor del ratón por la siguiente doble imagen se puede distinguir la posición del Centro Galáctico y la franja de la Vía Láctea formando un ángulo recto con el horizonte. Parece el Árbol galáctico visto desde 32º norte de una de las Frutas (planeta Tierra) de una de sus Ramas (sistema Solar).

Esta imagen está tomada del programa de astronomía Stellarium. En la página stellarium.orgpuedes descargar gratuitamente un planetario de software libre. Otros dos programas de astronomía se ha usado para encontrar en la misma fecha un eclipse en Jerusalén al mediodía. Los programas son "DISTANT SUNS", de Virtual Reality Labs (1996) y la Enciclopedia del Espacio y el Universo de Zeta Multimedia.
Si el programa permitiera añadir nubes a la escena, la oscuridad sería mucho mayor y por supuesto no se vería el eclipse.
Varios pintores han dibujado eclipses en sus cuadros, como Antoine Caron, y también en escenas sobre la Crucifixión, como José de Ribera, Pannemarker o Pesellino.
Un eclipse de Sol lo menciona Lucas en su evangelio (capítulo 23, versículos 44-45). En las dobles imágenes siguientes, los pintores imaginaron la escena con el Sol eclipsado por la Luna. También el pintor Pesellino (siglo 15) realizó un cuadro con un eclipse de Sol y de Luna (una luna ensangrentada). 14 días después del eclipse de Sol del 24/11/29 hubo un eclipse parcial de Luna.
De Wikipedia: Mark Kidger del Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (Tenerife, España), comparó el evangelio apócrifo de Pedro con las eclipses históricas. Indicó que el eclipse total del 24 de noviembre de 29 D.C. fue presenciada geográficamente muy cerca del lugar de la crucifixión, pasando la sombra cerca del norte de Jerusalén a las 11:05 A.M. siendo el momento máximo de oscuridad del 95% en dicho lugar y debió pasar desapercibido para la mayoría de quienes estaban fuera de sus casas. El eclipse fue total en Nazaret y Galilea durante 1 minuto y 49 segundos.
Lucas señala que hubo tinieblas desde la hora sexta a la hora novena (o nona, y la hora séptima y media como hora central), lo cual es según el uso horario romano (modernamente desde las 12 del mediodía a las 15 con las 13:30 como central). 3 horas es la duración media de un eclipse desde que la sombra de la Luna entra en la región en la que estamos hasta que sale, y en el caso de que haya nubes, la sombra de éstas hace aún más densa la oscuridad, y por supuesto, si la Luna estuviera pasando entre la Tierra y el Sol no podríamos ver que se está produciendo un eclipse.
Aquel eclipse de Sol (no necesariamente la crucifixión) ocurrió con la Luna y el Sol sobre el Centro galáctico en mitad de la franja de la Vía Láctea entre las constelaciones de Ofiuco y Sagitario, que simbolizan al Serpentario y al Centauro arquero que en la mitología griega se llaman Asclepio y Quirón, personajes míticos íntimamente relacionados por ser discípulo y maestro en el arte de la sanación cuyo arquetipo representativo por excelencia es la serpiente, porque su veneno contiene su propio antídoto, y de hecho es utilizada como símbolo por la ciencia médica y la Organización Mundial de la Salud (aunque con el dinero como intermediario). También la constelación de Ofiuco está en mitad de la constelación de la Serpiente.
También, el 24 de noviembre del 29 a las 13:30 horas, en la cenital de Palestina (trazando una línea desde el Centro de la Tierra pasando por Jerusalén y proyectándola al Firmamento) estaba la constelación del Cisne, llamada la Cruz del Norte (ver también constelación de la Cruz del Sur), es decir, la Cruz del Norte sobre la cruz en la que estuviera Jesús, y sobre Jerusalén y Palestina. Tanto la Cruz del Norte como el Centro galáctico están en plena franja de la Vía Láctea.
La Cruz del Norte en el punto cenital de la región de Palestina a las 13:30 horas del 24 de noviembre del año 29 al mismo tiempo que se producía un eclipse con la Luna ocultando al Sol sobre el Centro de la galaxia en la franja de la Vía Láctea.
Si Jesús hubiera nacido en el año -7 (746 de Roma) y hubiera muerto en el año 29 (el 782 de Roma) habría vivido 36 años, aunque la idea generalmente supuesta y aceptada es que tenía 33 años al morir, lo cual significaría que habría muerto en el año 26, y en este año también hubo un eclipse en Jerusalén al mediodía del 6 de febrero con el Sol al final de la región de Acuario. A más posibilidades más interpretaciones.
Por su lado, también el tan célebre como críptico Nostradamus menciona un eclipse de sol y lo relaciona de alguna forma (a interpretación) con la pasión y muerte de Jesucristo en una de las cartas con las que mantenía correspondencia con el Rey Enrique II: "Esto será precedido por un eclipse de sol, más oscuro y tenebroso que nunca desde la creación del mundo salvo después de la muerte y pasión de Jesucristo" (Fuente: http://www.caesaremnostradamus.com/Escritos_archivos/Traducciones/Henry%20II.htm).

También en la Cuarteta 72 de la Centuria X, posiblemente se refiere de forma alegórica (como "un gran rey del terror") a la sombra de un eclipse de Sol en su futuro año 1999, mes 7: "En el año mil novecientos noventa y nueve siete meses, vendrá del cielo un gran rey del terror...". En el mes 8, 11 de agosto de 1999 ocurrió un eclipse total de Sol durante el que la sombra de la Luna cruzó Europa pasando por Francia. Una curiosidad es que fue el último eclipse total de Sol del mismo milenio (1000-2000) en cuya mitad (1503) nació Michel de Nostredame.
Evidentemente no sabemos con seguridad en qué fecha se produjo el eclipse "más oscuro y tenebroso" de entre los que podemos tener noticia, pero tal "tenebrosidad" sólo puede ocurrir cuando a la sombra de la Luna se suma la sombra de densas nubes de tormenta. Si Lucas cita el eclipse sería porque él sí conocía que había ocurrido o porque alguien se lo habría comunicado. De haber ocurrido y de haber sido visto hubiese sido lógico que hubiera quedado grabado en la memoria popular humana pues se habría presenciado a la Luna eclipsando al Sol en plena franja de la Vía Láctea y sobre el punto del Centro galáctico (aunque no se supiera donde estaba el Centro de la Galaxia). 14 días después ocurrió un eclipse (parcial) de Luna.

El pintor Francesco Pesellino realizó en el siglo 15 un cuadro sobre la Crucifixión mostrando un eclipse de Sol, pero también de Luna en la misma escena. Igualmente Pieter Pannemaker en el siglo 16.
Si imaginamos el eclipse desde el espacio "exterior" podemos entender que la SOMBRA DE LA LUNA es literalmente un LUNAR, y así como la piel de nuestro cuerpo tiene lunares será porque la Piel de la Madre (Tierra) los puede tener.

Actualmente, el "tránsito" del Sol por el meridiano celeste en el que está el Centro galáctico en plena franja de la Vía Láctea ocurre cada día gregoriano 19 de diciembre. O dicho de otra forma y de la forma que refleja la realidad: se trata del tránsito de la Nave Tierra por el meridiano celeste contrario al meridiano en el que vemos situado al centro galáctico. No es que la cronología se haya corrido o retrasado 25 días (del 24 de noviembre al 19 de diciembre en 2000 años) sino que durante 2000 órbitas de la Tierra el sistema planetario se ha desplazado una sección de círculo por el Espacio en torno a un centro más exterior y masivo (como la Tierra una 12ª parte cada mes en torno al Sol) y así el punto de la órbita respecto al Sol y el Centro galáctico, una dinámica que no podemos reproducir en calendarios (estructuras rígidas para un tiempo), y de hecho no es importante en nuestro estado de conciencia ni para nuestros propósitos personales durante una esperanza de vida de 70 años, ni para los de una sociedad que dura más pero no está integrada en el orden y dinámica del Universo. El hecho de que la Luna se una a la cita -aunque no siempre eclipsando al Sol- ocurre cada 19 años. Por eso este tipo de eclipse con la Luna ocultando al Sol sobre el Centro de la galaxia (y concretamente en Jerusalén) no es muy frecuente. De hecho volvió a ocurrir 475 años más tarde (año 504) y luego 437 años después (año 941). El siguiente sí se produjo otra vez 475 años después (año 1416). Y el siguiente en 1919 (503 años después). Estos cuatro dan una media de unos 472 años (25 ciclos de 19 años).
Es decir que si la Luna volviera a pasar justo por la línea Tierra/Sol durante un 19 de diciembre, se produciría un eclipse de Sol justo ante el Centro de la galaxia y apreciaríamos en todo su esplendor la Vía Láctea en pleno día, como el Árbol galáctico visto con ojos humanos desde 32º al norte del ecuador de una de las Frutas (planeta Tierra) de una de sus Ramas (sistema Solar).
También puede darse el caso de que la Luna esté ahí mientras pasa por el cono de sombra de la Tierra, tal como ocurre el día 15 de junio de 2011. El día 1 se produce un eclipse (parcial) de Sol Es parcial, y 14 días después, el día 15, se produce ese eclipse total de Luna con ésta y la sombra de la Tierra en la franja de la Vía Láctea y sobre el Centro galáctico.
En 2012, el 20 de mayo el Sol estará bajo las Pléyades y la Luna pasará entre la Tierra y el Sol, de modo que ocurre un eclipse ANULAR de Sol ante las Pléyades. La parte más densa de la sombra de la Luna pasará por el monte Fuji, la ciudad de Tokyo (y rozando a la ya famosa ciudad de Fukushima) y tras cruzar el Pacífico por el sur de las Islas Aleutianas, por San Francisco, prácticamente las dos únicas grandes ciudades habitadas por millones de personas desde las que se verá el eclipse con mayor nitidez.
