Hey! I loaded up the dryer, hit start… and nothing. No noise, no spinning, no response. I checked the door and tried different settings, still dead. Is it worth looking inside or should I find a repair service right away? |

That could be anything from a blown thermal fuse to a worn-out start switch or motor issue. Opening it up could help, but unless you’re confident with electricals, it might not be worth the risk. In your shoes, I’d call Major Appliance Repair https://majorappliancerepair.info/ . They specialize in fast in-home appliance repair and are great at zeroing in on dryer problems without wasting your time. One of the reasons they stand out is how quickly they respond — often the same day. Plus, if you approve the repair, they waive the $80 diagnostic fee. They service a bunch of cities around Seattle, and the feedback from local users has been really solid. I’d skip the guesswork and let someone experienced take a look. |
