Judas Tomás, hermano de Jesús, apóstol y arquitecto
El apóstol Judas Tomás es nombrado en los evangelios dos veces como uno de los hermanos de Jesús: ¿No es éste el hijo del tekton? ¿No se llama su madre María, y sus hermanos, Jacobo, José, Simón y Judas (Tomás)? (Mt 13,55) ¿No es éste el tekton, hijo de María, hermano de Jacobo, de José, de Judas (Tomás) y de Simón? ¿No están también aquí con nosotros sus hermanas? Y se escandalizaban de él. (Mc 6,3) En el Evangelio, Judas Tomás es llamado varias veces "el Mellizo", en griego, "Dídimo"- (Jn. 11, 16; 20, 24; 21, 2), pero no se aclara de quién era mellizo. Esto ha dado lugar a innumerables hipótesis, incluyendo una que lo hace hermano gemelo de Jesús; por eso en ocasiones se representa a Tomás con los rasgos de Jesús. A Tomás, que es reconocido en los evangelios como hijo de José, de oficio tekton, y hermano de Jesús, de oficio tekton, se le da el oficio de “maestro-tekton" de “arkhitekton”, arquitecto..  Según los "Hechos de Tomás", apócrifo del siglo III, el apóstol Judas Tomás era arquitecto, y habría sido invitado por un rey de la India (Gundoforo, Gondoforo o Gundafar) a levantarle un palacio. Tomás recibe el dinero para la construcción y lo distribuye entre los necesitados. Cuando el rey quiere ver el palacio, Tomás le anuncia que, al dar el dinero a los pobres, le edificó al monarca un palacio en el cielo. El rey, irritado, lo arroja a prisión, pero más tarde lo perdona. A raíz de este episodio legendario, Tomás es representado frecuentemente con una escuadra de arquitecto. Gracias a investigaciones recientes, se han hallado monedas de mediados del siglo I con el nombre del rey Gundafar, lo que da algún sustento histórico a esta tradición. Judas Tomás, arquitecto, celebra su fiesta en el santoral cristiano el 21 de diciembre, día del solsticio de invierno, y una de las puertas del calendario romano del dios Jano, dios de los arquitectos antiguos. A Tomás se le representa con una escuadra de madera, instrumento propio de su oficio, el de arquitecto. Santo Tomás es en la actualidad, y según el santoral católico, patrono de arquitectos; constructores; trabajadores de la construcción; albañiles; agrimensores. Tomás es patrono de los actuales sucesores de los antiguos “tekton”, de los integrantes del gremio del oficio común de su padre José, y de su hermano Jesús. La estirpe del Rey David, de la que descienden José, Jesús y Judas Tomás, es la de los constructores de templos, los constructores del primer templo de Jerusalén. Y el dato cierto del oficio que los tres personajes comparten, y sus conocimientos y su practica en la Galilea de este momento histórico, es un dato que debe incorporarse hoy a cualquier reflexión cristológica.

EL SIMBOLISMO SOLSTICIAL DE JANO[1]

Acabamos de ver que el simbolismo de las dos puertas solsticiales, en Occidente, existía entre los griegos y más en particular entre los pitagóricos; se lo encuentra igualmente entre los latinos, donde está esencialmente vinculado con el simbolismo de Jano. Como ya hemos hecho alusión a éste y a sus diversos aspectos en muchas ocasiones, no consideraremos aquí sino los puntos referidos más directamente a lo que hemos expuesto en nuestros últimos estudios, aunque, por otra parte, sea difícil aislarlos por completo del conjunto complejísimo de que forman parte.
Jano, en el aspecto de que ahora se trata, es propiamente el ianitor [‘portero’] que abre y cierra las puertas (ianuae) del ciclo anual, con las llaves que son uno de sus principales atributos; y recordaremos a este respecto que la llave es un símbolo “axial”. Esto se refiere, naturalmente, al aspecto “temporal’ del simbolismo de Jano: sus dos rostros, según la interpretación más habitual, se consideran como representación respectiva del pasado y el porvenir; ahora bien: tal consideración del pasado y el porvenir se encuentra también, como es evidente, para un ciclo cualquiera, por ejemplo el ciclo anual, cuando se lo encara desde una u otra de sus extremidades. Desde este punto de vista, por lo demás, importa agregar, para completar la noción del “triple tiempo”, que entre el pasado que ya no es y el porvenir que no es aún, el verdadero rostro de Jano, aquel que mira el presente, no es, se dice, ninguno de los dos visibles. Ese tercer rostro, en efecto, es invisible porque el presente, en la manifestación temporal, no constituye sino un inaprehensible instante[2]; pero, cuando el ser se eleva por sobre las condiciones de esta manifestación transitoria y contingente, el presente contiene, al contrario, toda realidad. El tercer rostro de Jano corresponde, en otro simbolismo, el de la tradición hindú, al ojo frontal de Çiva, invisible también, puesto que no representado por órgano corporal alguno, ojo que figura el “sentido de la eternidad”; una mirada de ese tercer ojo lo reduce todo a cenizas, es decir, destruye toda manifestación; pero, cuando la sucesión se transmuta en simultaneidad, lo temporal en intemporal, todas las cosas vuelven a encontrarse y moran en el “eterno presente”, de modo que la destrucción aparente no es en verdad sino una “transformación”.
Volvamos a lo que concierne más particularmente al ciclo anual: sus puertas, que Jano tiene por función abrir y cerrar, no son sino las puertas solsticiales a que ya nos hemos referido. No cabe duda alguna a este respecto: en efecto, Jano [Ianus] ha dado su nombre al mes de enero (ianuarius), que es el primero, aquel por el cual se abre el año cuando comienza, normalmente, en el solsticio de invierno; además, cosa aún más neta, la fiesta de Jano, en Roma, era celebrada en los dos solsticios por los Collegia Fabrorum; tendremos inmediata oportunidad de insistir sobre este punto. Como las puertas solsticiales dan acceso, según lo hemos dicho anteriormente, a las dos mitades, ascendente y descendente, del ciclo zodiacal, que en ellas tienen sus puntos de partida respectivos, Jano, a quien ya hemos visto aparecer como el “Señor del triple tiempo” (designación que se aplica también a Çiva en la tradición hindú), es también, por lo dicho, el “Señor de las dos vías”, esas dos vías, de derecha y de izquierda, que los pitagóricos representaban con la letra Y[3], y que son, en el fondo, idénticas al deva-yána y al pitr-yna respectivamente[4]. Es fácil comprender, entonces, que las llaves de Jano son en realidad aquellas mismas que, según la tradición cristiana, abren y cierran el “Reino de los cielos” (correspondiendo en este sentido al deva-yna la vía por la cual se alcanza aquél)[5], y ello tanto más cuanto que, en otro respecto, esas dos llaves, una de oro y otra de plata, eran también, respectivamente, la de los “grandes misterios” y la de los “pequeños misterios”.
En efecto, Jano era el dios de la iniciación[6], y esta atribución es de las más importantes, no solo en sí misma sino además desde el punto de vista en que ahora nos situamos, porque existe una conexión manifiesta con lo que decíamos sobre la función propiamente iniciática de la caverna y de las otras “imágenes del mundo” equivalentes de ella, función que nos ha llevado precisamente a considerar el asunto de las puertas solsticiales. A ese título, por lo demás, Jano presidía los Collegia Fabrorum, depositarios de las iniciaciones que, como en todas las civilizaciones tradicionales, estaban vinculadas con el ejercicio de las artesanías; y es muy notable que esto, lejos de desaparecer con la antigua civilización romana, se haya continuado sin interrupción en el propio cristianismo, y que de ello, por extraño que parezca a quienes ignoran ciertas “transmisiones”, pueden aún encontrarse vestigios en nuestros mismos días.
En el cristianismo, las fiestas solsticiales de Jano se han convertido en las de los dos San Juan, y éstas se celebran siempre en las mismas épocas, es decir en los alrededores inmediatos de los solsticios de invierno y verano[7]; y es también muy significativo que el aspecto esotérico de la tradición cristiana haya sido considerado siempre como “johannita”, lo cual confiere a ese hecho un sentido que sobrepasa netamente, cualesquiera fueren las apariencias exteriores, el dominio simplemente religioso y exotérico. La sucesión de los antiguos Collegia Fabrorum, por lo demás, se transmitió regularmente a las corporaciones que, a través de todo el Medioevo, mantuvieron el mismo carácter iniciático, y en especial a la de los constructores; ésta, pues, tuvo naturalmente por patronos a los dos San Juan, de donde proviene la conocida expresión de “Logia de San Juan” que se ha conservado en la masonería, pues ésta no es sino la continuación, por filiación directa, de las organizaciones a que acabamos de referirnos[8]. Aun en su forma especulativa” moderna, la masonería ha conservado siempre también, como uno de los testimonios más explícitos de su origen, las fiestas solsticiales, consagradas a los dos San Juan después de haberlo estado a los dos rostros de Jano[9]; y así la doctrina tradicional de las dos puertas solsticiales, con sus conexiones iniciáticas, se ha mantenido viva aún, por mucho que sea generalmente incomprendida, hasta en el mundo occidental actual.

RENÉ GUÉNON, "SÍMBOLOS FUNDAMENTALES DE LA CIENCIA SAGRADA"
Varias veces, en nuestras obras, hemos aludido al simbolismo de Jano; para desarrollar completamente este simbolismo, de múltiples y complejas significaciones, y para señalar todos sus vínculos con un gran número de figuraciones análogas que se encuen-tran en otras tradiciones, haría falta un volumen entero2. Con todo, nos ha parecido in-teresante reunir algunos datos acerca de ciertos aspectos de ese simbolismo y en espe-cial retomar, de modo más completo que como habíamos podido hacerlo hasta ahora, las consideraciones que explican la vinculación establecida a veces entre Jano y Cristo, de una manera que a primera vista puede parecer extraña pero que no por eso está me-nos perfectamente justificada.
En efecto, un curioso documento que representa expresamente a Cristo con los rasgos de. Jano ha sido publicado hace algunos años por L. Charbonneau-Lassay en Reg-nabit3, y nosotros lo comentamos luego en la misma revista4 (fig. 11). Es una especie de doble medallón pintado en una página separada de un libro litúrgico manuscrito del si-glo XV, encontrado en Luchon, y constituye el cierre de la hoja correspondiente al mes de enero del calendario liminar del libro. En la sumidad del medallón interior figura el monograma IHS, con un corazón sobrepuesto; el resto de él está ocupado por un busto de Jano Bifronte, con un rostro masculino y otro femenino, según suele verse bastante a menudo; lleva en la cabeza una corona y sostiene en una mano un cetro y en la otra una llave.
"En los monumentos romanos —escribía Charbonneau-Lassay al reproducir el documento— Jano se muestra, como en el medallón de Luchon, con la corona en la cabeza y el cetro en la diestra, porque es rey; tiene en la otra mano una llave que abre y cierra las épocas: por eso, por extensión de la idea, los romanos le consagraban las puertas de las casas y ciudades (…) Cristo también, como el antiguo Jano, porta el cetro real, al cual tiene derecho conferido por su Padre del Cielo y por sus antepasados terrenos; su otra mano tiene la llave de los secretos eternos, la llave teñida de su sangre, que ha abierto a la perdida humanidad la puerta de la vida. Por eso, en la cuarta de las grandes antífonas preparatorias de la Navidad, la liturgia sagrada lo aclama así: «O Clavis Da-vid, et Sceptrum domus Israel!… » Tú eres, ¡oh Cristo esperado!, la Llave de David y el Cetro de la casa de Israel. Tú abres, y nadie puede cerrar; y cuando tú cierras, nadie po-dría abrir ya…"5.

El 24 de Junio (Solsticio de Verano) se celebra el dia de San Juan Bautista que proviene del Latin Janua que significa ... o puerta. Janua Inferi. Janua Inferi y Janua coeli son las puertas a los lugares superiores e inferiores. El 27 de Diciembre dia de San Juan el Evangelista (Solsticio de Invierno), Janua coeli. Estos solsticios son los puntos en que el Sol al haber arribado a su culminacion en su curso ascendente y descendente, pasa de los signos zodiacales superiores a los inferiores y hace su regreso a la posicion anterior.  Janus con su doble cara y sus llaves nos indica, segun la tradicion romana, su asignacion de abrir los lugares superiores e inferiores, o sea, darle comienzo y finalidad al ano. editar.

A close connection exists between Chanukah and Jewish education. Both words are built on the same Hebrew root letters, chet-nun-kaf, that spell the verbs chanach, to “dedicate, consecrate, train, train up,” and chinech, “dedicate, inaugurate, educate, train.” The noun chinuch means “inauguration, dedication, consecration, training, education, upbringing.” Chanukah is the Festival of Dedication, marking the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem in the year 165 B.C.E., when the Maccabees were victorious over their Greek-Syrian oppressors. When Jewish parents enroll their children in religious school for chinuch, they are literally carrying out the counsel of Proverb 22:6: Chanoch lana’ar, “Train up a child in the way he should go / And even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Various forms of the Hebrew verb and noun meaning “dedicate” or “dedication” appear in our Tanach. The dedication of the altar, chanukat hamizbei-ach, in the wilderness is described in Numbers 7. King Solomon and all the children of Israel dedicate the house of the Lord in Jerusalem (the first Temple) with splendid ceremonies (I Kings 8:63). When the Children of Israel returned from the Babylonian captivity and rebuilt the Temple, they held a great chanukat bet Elaha, dedication of the house of the Lord (Ezra 6:16). And, as we learn in Nehemiah 12:27, when the returned captives built the walls of Jerusalem (about 440 B.C.E.), they arranged a joyous chanukah, dedication, of the city walls.
Jewish homes as well as sacred buildings were dedicated. We learn this from an extraordinary passage beginning with Deuteronomy 20:5 that specifies the various circumstances under which an Israelite could be exempt from army service. Before a battle, officers had to ask their troops: “What man is there that has built a new house and lo chanacho, has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in battle and another man dedicate it.”
To this day, we observe the custom called chanukat habayit, dedication of a [new] house, during which we affix a mezuzah to the doorpost. The consecration service appears in Gates of the House, page 105.

JANUKAH
La palabra Hebrea Chanukkáh o Hanukkáh", ("dedicación", "consagración"), proviene del Hebreo "hanakh" Ignauración ("entrenamiento"), significando a su vez: "dedicar", "dar", "empezar", "comenzar".
Esta palabra hebrea quiere decir cambio y dedicación
La misma palabra expresa renovación.
La palabra Hebrea "Chanoch" o "Hanokh" ("Henoch"), tiene el mismo significado que la palabra Hebrea "HANUKKÁH", y vienen de la misma raíz Hebrea "hanakh", y por lo tanto, son sinónimos.
La festividad de Jánuca evoca la época de la hegemonía helénica en Israel, iniciada con la conquista de Alejandro Magno, en el año 332 a. C.; y como tal, no se hace mención a ella en las Escrituras. Cuando se corona como rey de Siria a Antíoco IV Epífanes (175 y 164 a. C.), éste decide helenizar al pueblo de Israel, prohibiéndole así a los judíos poder seguir sus tradiciones y costumbres. Un grupo de judíos conocido como los macabeos (dado que su líder era Yehudá Macabi), provenientes de la zona de Modi'ín, comenzaron a rebelarse contra los soldados griegos, ya que se negaban a hacer actos que iban en contra de su propia religión. Tuvieron una lucha difícil, y eran una minoría luchando contra el ejército griego, sin embargo sus estrategias, su decisión y fe les llevaron a lo que es el milagro de Jánuca, ganar pocos contra muchos. Cuando terminan la guerra, los macabeos regresan a Jerusalén a las sinagogas y las encuentran destruidas, ellos encuentran la menorá (un candelabro de siete brazos) apagado, y aceite para encenderlo un sólo día. Tardaron ocho días en tener listo más aceite y sin embargo ese poco aceite que tenían mantuvo prendido la menorá durante los ocho días hasta que tuvieron más aceite.
La fiesta de Jánuca se celebra durante ocho días, del 25 de kislev al 2 de tevet (o el 3 de tevet, cuando kislev cuenta con sólo 29 días). Durante esta festividad se prende una januquiá o candelabro de ocho brazos (más uno mayor). En la primera noche únicamente se prende el brazo mayor y una vela, y cada noche se va aumentando una vela, hasta el último día en el que todo el candelabro se enciende completo. Este hecho conmemora el milagro de que el aceite duró ocho días.

• Se comenzó de nuevo la verdadera Adoración
• Se produjo el milagro
La idolatría y el paganismo invadieron el verdadero culto.
El espíritu Heleno.
Aunque ya Grecia esta muerta, es el que controla las artes y el mundo. Y es un espíritu que ataca la mente y el intelecto del hombre llevándolo hacer anárquico e indiferente con Dios, este demonio de asimilación es peligroso para la vida del Mesiánico. Recordemos que cuando los Griegos dominaban ellos trataron de implantar su cultura llena de costumbres paganas y sus dioses que van en contra de los principios que Hashem estableció en su palabra
Hoy el creyente se debe cuidar del espíritu Griego que es el demonio que domina la mente y la conducta del mundo
Recordemos que nuestro Mesías no es Griego EL NO SE LLAMA JESUS sino Yahshua el es judío, el León de la tribu de Judah y su nombre es Yahshúa ha Mashiaj
Recordemos que el mismo demonio de contaminación en el cuerno pequeño que es la iglesia Romana cambio las fiestas y metió las fiestas paganas de la Navidad y muchas mas quitando la esencia judía del verdadero culto a YHVH
En estos días hace falta un espíritu profético que empiece a restaurar el verdadero culto como al principio y echar fuera el demonio del paganismo que domina el culto en lo que hemos conocido como Iglesia.

En este tiempo YHWH esta buscando verdaderos adoradores que le adoren en espíritu y en verdad. Nesecitamos la energía y la fe de los Macabeos para desterrar el espíritu pagano que domina la iglesia

La opinión de Juan
Pero el cuarto evangelio trae una segunda versión. Allí se dice que la venida del Espíritu Santo ocurrió… ¡el mismo domingo en que resucitó Jesús!
En efecto, relata san Juan que al atardecer del primer día de la semana (es decir, del domingo de resurrección), los discípulos estaban reunidos con las puertas cerradas, por miedo a los judíos. Entonces llegó Jesús, se puso de pie en medio de ellos y les dijo: «La paz con ustedes». Y les mostró las manos y el costado. Los discípulos se alegraron de ver al Señor. Jesús volvió a decir: «La paz con ustedes. Así como el Padre me envío a mí, también yo los envío a ustedes». Dicho esto, sopló sobre ellos y les dijo: «Reciban el Espíritu Santo. A quienes perdonen sus pecados les serán perdonados; y a quienes se los retengan les serán retenidos» (Jn 20,19-23).
Según el Nuevo Testamento, entonces, el Espíritu Santo bajó dos veces sobre los discípulos. Una (según san Juan) en Pascua; y la otra (según Los Hechos) cincuenta días más tarde, en Pentecostés. ¿Hubo entonces dos venidas? ¿Acaso la primera no fue eficaz, y se debió recurrir a una segunda?
Problemas con tanto Espíritu
Se han propuesto varias teorías para explicar el doble relato. Por ejemplo, que el Espíritu Santo bajó en Pascua de una manera transitoria, mientras que en Pentecostés bajó de manera definitiva. O que en Pascua el Espíritu descendió de un modo individual, sólo para los discípulos, mientras que en Pentecostés bajó para todo el mundo.
Pero estas teorías hoy no son aceptadas. Porque en ningún momento el evangelio de san Juan da a entender que el Espíritu Santo allí entregado sea provisional, o tenga una función puramente individual. Tanto en Juan como en Hechos, el Espíritu Santo aparece bajando sobre los discípulos de un modo definitivo, pleno, total.
Entonces, ¿cómo explicar que haya dos relatos?

La solución que hoy proponen los biblistas es muy simple: los dos autores están contando el mismo acontecimiento, es decir, la única venida del Espíritu Santo sobre los seguidores de Jesús. Pero ambos lo cuentan de manera distinta, porque cada uno tiene una intención especial, o sea, una teología particular.
Para el evangelio de Juan, la muerte y resurrección de Jesús provocaron una nueva creación en el mundo. Es como si la primera creación, aquélla contada en el Génesis en siete días, hubiera quedado obsoleta, superada, y hubiera aparecido de pronto, gracias a la resurrección del Señor, un nuevo mundo con nuevas criaturas. Ahora bien, para que entrara en funcionamiento esta nueva creación, Dios tenía que mandar su Espíritu, tal como había sucedido al principio del mundo. Por eso Juan cuenta que el Espíritu Santo bajó el mismo día de Pascua: porque su misión era crear un mundo nuevo, apenas muerto y resucitado Jesús.
Si atendemos ahora a los detalles que Juan pone en su relato, veremos que aluden a esta nueva creación.
En efecto, comienza diciendo: Al atardecer del primer día de la semana. ¿Por qué? Porque justamente al atardecer del primer día de la semana, Dios había creado el primer mundo (Gn 1,1-5). Por eso ahora, la nueva creación debía comenzar también el mismo día.

What the...
Very much aware of the symbolic significance of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games as discussed in The Labour of the Sun, I sat down on the night of February 24 to watch its closing ceremony, an openly ritualistic event, to see if there was any 'clue dropping'. Having recognized the existence of an esoteric undercurrent in the opening ceremony, I was curious as to what kind of encoded 'message' might be present in the second 'ritual'. Of course, my view is that reality itself is an encoded message, or a 'game', so this was not anything new; I'm always scanning for clues. But high-impact world events, accidental or not, I have observed, are usually symbolic expressions of important themes that underlie physical phenomena that surround us, hence my special interest in the international event of the Olympics.
As the two gigantic T-Rex's at the Olympic stadium were shown on the TV screen, I inevitably went 'what the...' I mean, these were clearly out of place and, simply, bizarre (not to say scary). Of course, the exoteric justification (= 'excuse') was probably that the general region of Utah has large deposits of dinosaur remains, but still those dinosaurs had almost no apparent relevance to the themes of the ceremony and were just... bizarre. To me, this was a 'Hermetic device' having the function of prompting questions consciously or subconsciously. This, in other words, was potentially a 'clue' planted, again consciously or subconsciously, by some intelligence.
Messianic Resurrection
Later in the show, the dinosaurs were revealed to be operated from behind the walls (not really, but that was the story line) by the Osmond brother and sister singing 'We Are Family!...' By this time, I began to get the gist of the shrouded 'message'. T-Rex's are 'kings', as rex means 'king' and they were certainly the king of dinosaurs. And since the term 'dinosaur' means 'terrible lizard', the T-Rex could easily be considered a 'terrible king', or 'King of terror' a la Quatrain X-72 discussed in previous articles.

At the Olympic stadium in Salt Lake City, then, the 'King of terror' was symbolically 'resurrected' to accord with my previous interpretation that this quatrain, in conjunction with II-41 etc., relates to the 9/11 event and the Winter Olympic Games. Note that this 'King' of the Olympics could also easily be viewed as the 'King of the Rings' -- as the Games are symbolized by the familiar multi-colored five rings -- which may be rephrased as the 'Lord of the Rings'. And The Lord of the Rings is a phrase very much fresh on people's minds today because of the very popular film by the same title that came out late 2001 after the 9/11 event (it was the first of the trilogy, so it's an on-going project). [Update: the second volume/installment of The Lord of the Rings is titled 'The Two Towers' (!) and the third 'The Return of the King' -- needless to say, the correspondence is incredible.] This curious coincidence is compounded by the fact that, in Greek mythology, it is Prometheus, the provider of fire and a version of Saturn-Osiris, that would be considered the 'lord of the ring', as we read that:
Finally [Hercules] reached the Caucasus Mountains, where Prometheus had been fettered for thirty years... Zeus had long repented of his punishment, because Prometheus had since sent him a kindly warning not to marry Thetis, lest he might beget one greater than himself; and now, when Hercules pleaded for Prometheus's pardon, granted this without demur. Having once, however, condemned him to everlasting punishment, Zeus stipulated that, in order still to appear a prisoner, he must wear a ring made from his chains and set with Caucasian stone - and this was the first ring ever to contain a setting... Mankind now began to wear rings in Prometheus's honour... (Robert Graves, The Greek Myths, 133.l-m)
This event, remarkably, is said have taken place during Hercules' journey of the '11th labor', i.e. the very labor we have linked to the current world events, including the Olympics (see The Labour of the Sun). Note also that the Salt Lake City Games had a very Promethean official slogan/theme, 'Light the Fire Within'.
But here we need to take into consideration the idea of 'family' musically attached to the kingly dinosaurs. A 'royal family' -- was this the implication? Or, since the 'King of terror' has been equated with Osiris (see Labour), was it an allusion more specifically to the messianic family, i.e. the family of Jesus, the biblical Osiris? To use Christian terminology, it was a symbolic 'Second Coming'. This association is intriguing as it has been said that Jesus was crucified on a T-shaped cross (the 'tau') (Christopher Knight, et al, The Hiram Key, pp.241-2), and thus Jesus, the 'King of the Jews', may be described congruently as a 'T-king', that is, 'T-Rex'. And then there is the intriguing fact that the messianic bloodline, signified in medieval literature by the Holy Grail (Sangraal, which can also be translated as 'Blood Royal'), is entangled with the myths of the 'Ring', including The Lord of the Rings:
J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is one of the most enchanting and successful tales of all time. First issued in the 1950s, this famous trilogy could just as well have emanated from the Dark Ages or medieval times, for it has all the qualities and attributes of the most ancient Grail and Ring traditions. (Laurence Gardner, Realm of the Ring Lords, p.1)
To express it esoterically, then, it was an allusion to the return of the wounded 'Fisher King', or King Arthur, the medieval Osirian-messianic character who is inseparable form the Grail romances. It is fitting that the Gaelic word uther, from which the name 'Arthur' apparently derives, means 'terrible' (according to Gardner) and Arthur's father was called 'Uther Pendragon' (actually a title) which would mean 'Terrible head of Dragons' (though it has also been translated as 'Wonderful head of Dragons'). The 'terrible dragons' are, of course, clearly evocative of the dinosaurs, the 'terrible lizards'. Traditionally, 'dragons' are associated with kingship and crocodiles/serpents; in ancient Egypt, for example, pharaohs were anointed with the fat of the holy crocodile, or 'Meseh' from which derives the term 'Messiah', i.e. Jesus/Osiris. Correspondingly, Osiris' death is associated with a crocodile in Egyptian tradition (E.A. Wallis Budge, The Gods of the Egyptians, vol.II, p.358).
Deux Dieux
The messianic family, stemming from Davidic royal lineage and the offspring of Jesus and Mary Magdalene (i.e. Sangraal) according to esoteric tradition, is said to carry the title, Rex Deus, meaning 'King of God' (see Marilyn Hopkins, et al, Rex Deus, 2000). Now, it is curious to notice here that the term 'Deus' (God) closely resembles the word for 'two' in various European languages. As Boyd Rice writes:
The Latin word for God, Deus, seems to retain a vestige of the ancient understanding of the dual nature of deity. In many languages, the word denoting "Two" has either a spelling or a sound very similar to the word Deus, for instance, deux, dos, dua, deuce, and so forth. This becomes even more explicit when examining the specific terms some of the countries apply to God. For example, the French Dieu [or its plural form, Dieux] echoes deux (two) very closely, and the Spanish Dios is derived from the word dos by the mere addition of an "I." (www.dagobertsrevenge.com/articles/undivided.html)
This would then nicely relate to the two T-Rex's of the Olympics and the biblical 'T-Rex', Jesus, being a twin (Judas Thomas/Twin was almost certainly Jesus' twin brother, based on non-canonical sources such as the Acts of Thomas). And, of course, we are reminded here of the twin nature of Hercules, antediluvian pillars, the Sphinx/Horus and such -- underlying all of which is the notion of the Sun/Ark/lion, as explained in The Labour of the Sun. (In terms of Nostradamus -- who, by the way, may well have been a member of 'Rex Deus' -- this motif is potently expressed in our 'two suns' quatrain, II-41.) Indeed, Rex Deus, or the Messianic bloodline, is Davidic which in turn means the bloodline is of the 'lion king' -- as the tribal symbol of King David's, Judah, was the lion. Moreover, the Davidic 'Fisher King' is called in Arthurian literature Anfortas (in fortis) meaning 'in strength', which is also the Latin name for one of the two pillars of the Temple of Jerusalem (i.e. the 'Boaz' pillar). These twin pillars are a version of the antediluvian/Atlantean pillars, the New World version of which was destroyed on 9/11/01. The Catholic theologian Margaret Starbird writes:
The name of this [Boaz] pillar, which is also the name of the ancestor of King David, is a clear and obvious reference to the promises made to the Davidic bloodline, the line of the princes of Judah, that the dominion of its princes would be established forever "in strength," since Judah was the strongest of the twelve sons of Israel's patriarch Jacob. The name Anfortas is thus associated with the broken left pillar of the Temple of Jerusalem, which is symbolic of the broken Davidic succession... [T]he "Fisher King" Anfortas -- that is, the Davidic "Fish-King" Jesus -- can be healed only when the Grail is restored... (The Woman With the Alabaster Jar, p.86)
The reference to the broken succession/pillar here is interesting as it potentially relates to the fact that the Great Sphinx is missing its 'twin' and also to the darkening of the sun (= lion/sphinx/Fisher King) on the day Jesus/Osiris died as per tradition.
All combined, we can derive the symbolic implication that the two towering T-Rex's signified the resurrection of the messianic king, or Osiris-Horus, the fall of which was earlier expressed by the destruction of the WTC twin towers on 9/11.
Proof of the Vikings
Let's take a look at Quatrain VI-97 which I have repeatedly correlated with the world events of our own time including the 9/11 attacks.

Forty five [or 'five and forty'] degrees the sky will burn,

When they want to have proof of the Normans.
This quatrain's relevance to 9/11 and related events can be summarized as follows. First, 'five and forty' (cinq & quarante) of Line 1, if interpreted as 40.5, would correspond to the latitude of New York City where the WTC towers stood. And NYC is insinuated by Line 2 mentioning 'the great new city'. The abundant references to burning fire, needless to say, evoke the burning towers still hauntingly fresh on our mind. (The "great scattered flame" is actually even evocative of the grand firework show of the Olympic ceremonies.) What is most remarkable, however, is the implication of Line 4: 'When one will want to want proof of the Normans'.
 "Normans" is essentially another name for the Vikings (or 'Norsemen'). "Viking," in turn, was the name given to the twin space probes NASA sent to Mars in 1976 (Viking 1 & 2). This Viking mission made the very first successful landing on the Red Planet and, more significantly, it gave us the first pictures of the potentially artificial "monuments of Mars" at Cydonia, an issue still very much controversial and relevant today. This association is particularly important here because the Cydonia region of the 'fire planet' is situated approximately at 5°W. 40°N. -- that is, "five and forty"! The 'monuments' themselves are located on latitude 40.5-41°N., which happens to be the very latitude of NYC _and_ Salt Lake City! As if these weren't enough, the most prominent features of the Cydonia complex are the popular 'Face' and the geometrically sound 'D&M Pyramid'.  The 'Face', as revealed/confirmed in 2001, is of dual nature, having a hominid side and a leonine side, just as does the Sphinx (= sun, Hercules, 'Fisher King') which has a body of the lion and a head of man. (The connection between the two is corroborated by the fact that the tangent of Cydonia's latitude equals the cosine of the latitude of Giza/Sphinx, both equaling e/pi.) The partially collapsed 'D&M Pyramid', on the other hand, is pentagonal -- echoed by the U.S. Pentagon partially destroyed in the 9/11 attacks.
Line 4, 'When one will want to have proof of the [Vikings]', then, would have the implication of people wanting to know the truth about Cydonia and/or more generally about the existence of life on Mars. And, sure enough, presently around the turn of the millennium we are rapidly getting more evidence indicative of the existence of past/present life, as well as intelligently designed structures, on the Red Planet. (Most recently, the Mars Odyssey spacecraft gave us, on 3/1/02, more evidence of water on Mars, more pictures of strikingly artificial-looking features, and amazing confirmation of Richard Hoagland's 'Mars Tidal Model' which I consider a brilliant piece of work.)
As it turns out, the 'Norman/Viking' reference also nicely brings together 9/11 and 'Rex Deus' as we learn that the Viking leader, Rollo (Hrolf), came to France and obtained Normandy (becoming the first Duke of Normandy) in _911_ AD. And Rollo, interestingly enough, was genealogically linked to the 'Rex Deus' clan:
[Rollo] extended his lands by conquest and his influence by alliance and marriage with the leading aristocratic families of the time. He sought to establish strong bonds with the local aristocracy and, in particular, matrimonial links with dynasties of the Rex Deus tradition, such as the families of Chaumont, Gisors, d'Evreaux, Blois, the Counts of Champagne and the ruling House of Flanders, whose younger sons were the Counts of Boulogne. Was he [Rollo himself] also Rex Deux, from a family outside the confines of early Christian Europe? (Hopkins, et al, Rex Deus, p.107)
From this angle, the phrase 'When one will want to have proof of the Normans' would come to mean 'when people become aware, and want proof/'resurrection', of 'Rex Deus' or the 'Grail'/messianic bloodline -- that is, our own time.
Now, the 'resurrection' of this hidden bloodline/tradition would also imply the fall of the Church as its existence today is the result of the Roman Empire 'hijacking' the 'Fisher King' tradition. The Catholic Church or Papacy, in other words, is just a poser on the throne with no legitimacy what so ever. The 'king' is naked and the people have been too conditioned and timid to openly acknowledge this awkward fact. When the true 'Fisher King' is publicly acknowledged, therefore, it would automatically leave the Church and its manipulative doctrine nowhere to go but down. This situation brings us back to Quatrain II-41, the 'two suns' prophecy already applied to the current events, the last line of which indicates the fall/shift of the papacy: "When the great pontiff changes his abode."
In The Labour of the Sun was discussed how Quatrain II-41 pertains to 9/11, the 'King of terror' (Fisher King), and the inevitable end of the reign of Pope John Paul II, the 'Labor of the Sun' pope, in the near future. Since writing the article, it came to my attention that there is one particular date that may be seen as a window through which the smoldering archetypal story line could potentially manifest itself physically because of intense symbolic convergence. The date in question is May 1st -- i.e. 'May Day'. First, notice that just as the date '9-11' numerically had the implication of emergency ('911' being the emergency phone number), 'May Day' is similarly the international radiotelephone code used for indicating trouble and requesting help. Second, in Europe May Day is Labor Day which in the United States is celebrated in September (the month of 9/11) -- 'labor' being a code word for Pope JPII, as well as Hercules' 11th Labor that has been found to closely relate to 9/11 and Prometheus along with his fire and ring. May Day, in fact, is also the festival of Belenus, the Celtic god of fire and the sun, and a pagan festival of rebirth and renewal. The first day of May, therefore, is a time with strong 9/11 resonance and particularly relevant to the 'Labor of the Sun', i.e. Pope JPII, though I am not ready to predict that the papacy will actually suffer a loss on that date.
Update: According US intelligence sources, as reported by The Washington Times (May 13), Islamic terrorists were planning to attack a nuclear power plant and this "was initially scheduled for May 1..." So, there indeed was a high potential for a 9/11-related major incident on May Day 2002.
Echoes of Lost Paradise
Dinosaurs, the kings of the earth at the time, were suddenly wiped out about 65 million years ago. Rocks from outer space, it is often theorized, hit the earth and devastated all life upon the surface. Quite recently, Tom Van Flandern (formerly the Chief of the Celestial Mechanics Branch of the U.S. Naval Observatory) put forward the theory that it was the 'explosion' of what he calls 'Planet V' between Earth's orbit and the Asteroid Belt (which is the remnant of the theoretical 'Planet K' that exploded about 250 million years ago) that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. The planet Mars, in this radical model, was formerly a satellite of Planet V that survived the catastrophe and became an independent planet. Richard Hoagland's more recent 'Mars Tidal Model' was an extension of Flandern's 'Exploded Planet Hypothesis', and so the new data from the Mars Odyssey probe just released 3/1/02 that dramatically corroborated Hoagland's theory was also confirmatory evidence for Flandern's. By inference, then, it may be postulated that those dinosaurs -- analogous to the 'King of terror', 'Fisher King', etc. -- and the Red Planet have an inseparable historical connection.
The reader may recall that I have previously stressed the intense correlation that exists between the 9/11-related events and the destruction of the antediluvian world, 'Atlantis', in connection with Mars/Cydonia. Here, then, we have the implication that there also is a link between the prehistoric 'dragons' and Atlantis. Remarkably, this strange association actually resonates well with the fact that in ancient traditions the angelic wisdom-providers of the antediluvian paradise, including Osiris, are usually associated with the serpent, i.e. 'dragons'. The coherence is intensified when it is added that the essence of Osiris was equated in ancient Egyptian theology with the Benben Stone (the capstone of the pyramid/obelisk) which in turn was, or represented, a meteorite -- i.e. a rock from outer space (Planet V). Correspondingly, we may recall that, in Mystery, Babylon the Great, the antediluvian tower (Babel) and the Osirian 'fallen angels' (Nephilim) were found to be the embodiment of a heavenly stone. And to top it off, the Nephilim were 'fallen ones' (as in fallen meteorites), and were also called awwin denoting 'serpents' (as in dragons/dinosaurs) and gibborim meaning 'strong ones' (as in Davidic 'Fisher Kings'). The messianic association is echoed strongly by the Holy Grail/Blood Royal: in Wolfram von Eschenbach's Parzival from around 1200, the Grail is called lapsit exillis which, as lapis ex caelis, means 'stone from the heavens'!
So we now have entangled themes involving dinosaurs, Exploded Planet Hypothesis, Mars, Atlantis, heavenly stone, messianic tradition... What does this all mean? While I have my own hypotheses, it is wise at this time to just wonder about it rather than force a shortsighted and linearly conceived conclusion out of the partially disjointed pieces of the puzzle. I have faith in the idea of 'if you ask, the answer will come'. This appears to be how the 'game' is played 'down here'. Truth requires patience, and patience here requires unwavering respect for truth.
Foreshadowing
 I'd like to end this article by pointing out that the next Winter Olympic Games (2006) will be held in Turin, Italy. Turin is the home of the single most important and controversial relic associated with Jesus -- the Shroud of Turin, the linen cloth in which Jesus was supposedly wrapped after the crucifixion. On the Shroud is seen, somehow, a seemingly photographic image of Jesus. While ostensibly a Christian relic, the Shroud has much to do with the esoteric 'underground' tradition that aligns with the 'Fisher King' rather than with Pauline counterfeit Christianity headed by the Papacy. Indeed, the Shroud first surfaced soon after the suppression of the medieval warrior-monks, the Knights Templar, who were accused, among other things, of worshipping a strange head -- which may well have been the head portion of the Shroud. The first known owner of the relic, Geoffrey de Charney, is in fact thought to be the nephew of Geoffroi de Charney, the Templar preceptor of Normandy who was burned to death with Jacques de Molay, the last Templar Grand Master. And some have theorized, with good reason, that the Shroud was actually created by Leonardo Da Vinci who has been claimed to have been Grand Master of the Priory of Sion, supposedly the parental organization behind the Templar order (see Lynn Picknett, et al, Turin Shroud). The Priory of Sion, extensively discussed in the groundbreaking book Holy Blood, Holy Grail (1982), is practically analogous, or attached, to 'Rex Deus'. This combined with the fact that the Templar knights in the Grail lore are depicted as the guardians of the Holy Grail/Blood Royal which, in theory (based on "heretical" traditions), stemmed from the dynastic 'Sacred Marriage' between Jesus and Mary Magdalene, it may be inferred that the Shroud is in a sense a form of the Grail which in turn represents the hidden messianic succession.
Is it just a coincidence that Turin, the very place where this 'Rex Dues' relic rests, has been selected for the next Winter Olympics? Perhaps. But consider the following. Turin is at latitude 45°N. so as to echo the opening line of the 'Olympic/Martian quatrain', VI-97 ('Forty five degrees the sky will burn'). The last line of the same quatrain, 'When they want to have proof of the Normans', may also now denote 'when people want to find out the truth about the origin of Christianity, about the suppressed messianic legacy, and about the true nature of the Turin Shroud which was first possessed, as far as we know, by the 'Normans' (i.e. the Templar Master of Normandy). The Shroud even resonates with 9/11. The relic, as well as Leonardo/Priory of Sion, is associated with John the Baptist as it is, for example, kept at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin. And the saint's birthday was celebrated on the summer solstice just as the date 9/11 corresponded in the early Christian times to the original summer solstice day of the ancient Egyptian calendar.
Also, the demonstrated Martian/Cydonian nature of Quatrain VI-97 incites the thought that the head imprinted on the Shroud might relate to the more or less similar-looking 'Face on Mars'. This is clearly a silly notion -- except there are various clues that are supportive of it. This leads into an area that overlaps my 'other' research that I do not want to discuss yet. But I'll just mention two curious coincidences: the Shroud is called sydoine/sindone/sindon in other languages ('Cydonia' anyone?), and John the Baptist was decapitated and his severed head became an object/idea of great esoteric importance. This is only a small hint. I don't want to open Pandora's Box yet... :) But I will say that Mars/Cydonia anomalies and the Grail-Ark-Shroud-Fisher King theme are to merge in a startlingly direct and elegant way.

Decoding the Mayan 'Double-Sun' Timecode

Final Countdown
According to the incredibly sophisticated and accurate calendar of the Maya from Central America, one of the most mysterious ancient civilizations rivaling ancient Egypt, we are currently living in the 'fifth age of the sun' which began on August 12, 3114 BC -- a date designated the 'Birth of Venus'. According to Mayan tradition, the previous four ages ended in great cataclysms, leaving only a small number of survivors, not unlike the biblical tale of Noah. This arcane view certainly makes us curious and somewhat nervous about the projected ending date of the current, the fifth, age of the sun. When one finds out when this termination point actually is, the nervousness shoots up into the realm of worry. The Mayan calendar is now even beginning to enter the public consciousness at large, as this very subject was, for example, a key theme incorporated into the final episode of the popular 'paranormal' TV show The X-Files aired May 19, 2002. As we get closer to the ending date of the calendar, we are sure to hear a lot more about it from various sources.
On '9-11', the world -- and especially the US, the New World -- has realized just how a seemingly stable and proud system or world view can be made so fragile and overwhelmed in one day. The possibility of the world crumbling into total chaos is no longer a farfetched movie scenario but a uncomfortably realistic prospect. And just in time for this paradigm shift, the world is to be made aware that 'the end of the world' as foreseen by the Maya is rapidly approaching us. On December 22, 2012, about ten years from now, the timeline of the 'fifth age of the sun' will terminate. The redden sun has reached the western horizon and is about to go under.
What does this mean? Are we talking about a literal annihilation of human civilization or could it be more metaphorical? No one really knows. It is my view, however, and it is sensible, that the more insights we have into the situation/pattern, the more metaphorical the manifestation of the projected pattern will be. Or in simpler terms -- more preparation, less damage.
I am not writing this article out of fear or survivalist mentality, however. (I am not one of those who animalistically think survival is/should be our highest priority.) Instead, I was prompted to write this piece because I detected a significant pattern that coherently links the underlying esoteric themes of today's events discussed in my previous articles and the Mayan calendar. While I had originally been viewing the projected ending date as something conceptually akin to the equinoxes/solstices -- in that they astronomically yield specific dates but only approximately mark the change of seasons -- the new findings have pushed me to reconsider my position and theorize that the calendar is counting down to a specific event of profound importance.
The '9-11' event, it now appears, was only a part of the sequence of events leading up to a culmination in/around 2012.
Two Suns, Two Years
It was prophetic Quatrains X-72 and II-41 of Nostradamus, curiously enough, that helped me 'see the light'.
As explained in depth before in my previous articles (The Labour of the Sun and Rex Deux), X-72's infamous line, '1999 seven months', could actually denote '2001 September' for certain calendrical reasons, and the whole quatrain, when decoded, would directly relate to the '9-11' attacks. (See Labour for detail.)

The curious 2-year offset between 1999 and 2001 observed here was found to be nicely reflected by various other aspects. For instance, we had the huge 'II' shape (i.e. '2') of the WTC twin towers, and the twin nature of Hercules, the mythological character associated with the antediluvian/'Atlantean' pillars which in turn were discerned to be analogous to the WTC towers. Hercules in particular was found to be of great metaphoric significance for 9-11 -- because just as '11' was a key number encoded in the whole event (i.e. an airplane Flight 11 crashing into a 110-story towers visually forming '11' on the 11th day of the month, etc.), it was during Hercules' '11th labor' that he directly interacted with Atlas (the first king of Atlantis) in Greek mythology -- thus reinforcing the view that the 'Pillars of Hercules' (= 'Atlantean' pillars) represent the archetypal WTC towers. Hercules being a personification of the sun, moreover, resonates well with the fact that the Egyptian death-god Osiris was both associated with the black sun and described as the 'Lord of Terror' as in the 'King of terror' of X-72. The correlation becomes stronger when added that there was a major total solar eclipse (i.e. a 'black sun') in August of 1999 (= '1999'+'7 months', as per X-72). Also, similarly, the Great Sphinx represented both the embodiment of the sun and the 'Father of Terror'.
From these associations, it was inferred that Hercules was both a 'twin' and the 'sun'. And this brought us to the next phase of interpretation involving Quatrain II-41. First, it was determined that Hercules represented, at least in our context, a form of 'double sun'. This was supported by the sphinx, associated with Hercules, traditionally found in pairs -- thus signifying 'two suns'. And 'two sun' could be reasonably interpreted as 'two years' to corroborate the '2-year offset scheme' of X-72. After this, we were naturally led to II-41, one of the quatrains I had personally considered applicable to our own era, long before 9/11. Line 2 of the quatrain reads 'the cloud will make two suns appear'.

Lines 1 and 2 complement the correlation as these strongly evoke the 'great star' (the brightest star) Sirius. It is commonly known as the 'Dog Star' as in 'the large mastiff' (Line 3), and in ancient Egypt the star was called Sept, which in turn would denote 'seven' as in 'seven days' (Line 1). Also, as explained in Labour, Sirius' heliacal rising -- an extremely important astronomical event for the ancient Egyptians -- signified 'the 1st day of the 1st month of Thoth', which was the New Year's Day of the ancient Egyptian calendar. During the early Christian times this special day took place on the Gregorian September 11th, and this caused the Coptic/Christian-Egyptian (as well as Ethiopian) calendar to fix its New Year's Day on September 11 (Gregorian), and this is the case to this day. Sirius, alluded to by II-41, is therefore very much linked to what has now become a date of infamy, '9-11'. This consequently implies that the initial 'double sun' correlation was indeed valid.
As for Line 4 which indicates a change of the papacy, it was pointed out that the current pope, John Paul II, is given the motto 'De Labore Solis' ('From the Labor of the Sun') by St. Malachy's prophetic list of popes. (I personally tend to agree with the view that this remarkably accurate prophetic list was actually composed by Nostradamus.) Needless to say, the motto not only conforms to the underlying 'sun' theme, but it even resonates specifically with the aforementioned 'labor of Hercules' (since Hercules = sun) the 11th of which was found inseparable from the 9-11 event! Moreover, the motto has also been interpreted to denote 'Of the Eclipse of the Sun' (indeed, JPII was born during an eclipse) -- in which case, it would again congruently conform to the 'black sun' theme and the total solar eclipse of August 1999. So, it was confirmed on multiple levels that there was a strong connection between II-41, X-72, and the 9/11 terrorism.
The prophetic implication of this was that Pope JPII would be replaced by a new pope in the very near future to coincide with the aftermath of 9-11. And seemingly as a foreshadow, the Church, especially in the US, suddenly found itself in serious trouble as we entered the year 2002 (i.e. the sexual abuse scandal). At first, I was just amused to see the apparent manifestation of the projected pattern and wondered how it would culminate in the exit of JPII. Then, something got my attention and it caused a shift in my perspective. I began to see a bigger picture as well a more focused context and pattern for the on-going world events.
Seeing the Light
The more I looked into the 9-11 event, the more 'prophetic' it became -- both in the sense that it strongly interacted with 'prophecies' made in the past and the sense that the event itself was a coded 'prophecy' for the future. And as I became more aware of the latter implication, I noticed something that I felt I should have noticed long time ago. This was that by adding '11' -- the encoded key number of 9/11 -- to the year of the event, 2001, one would get '2012', which is none other than the ending date of the Mayan calendar.
Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. But consider the following. Just as the number '11' is found to be inseparable from the sun, so is the Mayan calendar which, as ingeniously decoded by researcher Maurice Cotterell, essentially represents a time-keeping system for the sun, the sunspot activity, which is known to have an 11-year cycle! The fact that the Mayan calendar was also used to calculate and predict solar eclipses adds to the coherence as we have already noted the prophetic significance of the 1999 total eclipse.
In The Mayan Prophecies (1995), Cotterell revealed his remarkable theory that the strange rhythm of the Mayan calendar, which had perplexed all other investigators, actually corresponded with the complex cycles of the solar magnetic fields which in turn would produce 'sunspots', the dark spots on the surface of the sun.
It is scientifically known that those sunspots spew out a lot of ions (charged particles) and affect the magnetic field of the earth. More sunspots means more electrical stuff/'solar wind'  (solar flares and coronal mass ejections) emitted outward to bombard the earth's magnetosphere. (The most visible effect of this would be the aurora lights). Every 11 years, the sun reaches a 'solar maximum', which is when the number of sunspots peaks, or when the sun is the most active. Presently, in fact, we are undergoing the solar maximum of 'Cycle 23' -- though the peak was 'officially' reached in mid-2000. This means that the next solar maximum will be around 2012, the Mayan 'end date'!
What made the correlation even more satisfying was the fact that the Mayan calendar was intimately linked to the planet Venus -- as evidenced by the fact that the starting date of the Calendar (Aug 13, 3114 BC) is called 'the Birth of Venus'. In esoteric tradition, Venus (along with Sirius) is symbolized by a pentagram (five-pointed star). The pentagram is obviously related geometrically to the pentagon -- and the 'Pentagon' is of course none other than the third building hit in the 9/11 attacks.
What about the 2-year/'double-sun' offset scheme that has been prophetically linked to 9/11?  Remarkably, we learn that the nature of the current solar maximum perfectly echoes this strange theme. First, astronomers have noted that Cycle 23 active at the present has a rare double-peak maximum. It was initially observed that the solar intensity crested, rather prematurely, in April 2000 or so. And then, in early 2002, astronomers started to notice that the sunspots were increasing again seemingly to a equally (if not more) pronounced second peak, almost exactly 2 years after the first peak. So, not only is it a 'double sun' maximum, the twin peaks are even 'two suns' (2 years) apart! This is a strong sign that we are onto something here.
Actually, as if these weren't enough, we also find that there was a clear 'spike' in the sunspot activity in the month of '9/11' as the graph (right) shows.
The more we look, the more we realize that there is a close relationship between the 'prophetic' events of our time and the changing conditions of our sun.
What could all this mean?
It wasn't long before I began to see further patterns and specific implications. I was to be exposed to a very clear 'signal', a 'message', that could show us what would likely transpire in the immediate future.
The Equidistant Sequence
I made a simple timeline on a sheet of paper and then drew in the two 'double-sun' schemes -- that is, the pair of X-72 (~Aug. 1999) and 9/11/01 separated by 2 years, and the Cycle 23 maximum peaks similarly separated by 2 years (Apr. 2000 and ~Apr. 2002).
This helped me visualize better the chronological mismatch between the two periods. Although I had inferred that the two 'double sun' events were connected, these overlapping periods were offset by 8 months. Why? Was this some unintended distortion in the 'design' or was this a directive misalignment leading us to the next revelation? I had to explore the latter possibility as I knew from experience that this approach would often lead to productive results. It was warranted especially in this case as there was still a sense of intelligent design in the offset -- '8 months' was exactly one third of '2 years'. And so I studied the timeline closely to see if there was a further pattern just beneath the 'surface'.
After some thinking, I recalled that there was another major event that I had already interpreted to be part of the 'double sun' theme. This was the 2000 US presidential election -- an event that produced two winners or two 'suns'. The designation of the 'sun' here was supported by the fact that, for example, the eye of the storm that was the 2000 election was Florida, the 'Sunshine State'. Also, in a previous article I identified Clinton as a version of Amenhotep III (historical Solomon) which made his successor a version of Akhenaten (the Egyptian king who followed Amenhotep III), often called the 'Sun King'. (The 'two presidents' therefore had become analogous to 'two suns'. See The Two Suns of Election MM for more details.)
Subsequently, I realized that the timing of this event was right in the middle of the combined timeframe of the other two 'double sun' events. In fact, it was placed at the dead center. To visualize it better, I marked it on the timeline -- and immediately emerged a great sense of order. Then it hit me: this third 'double sun' event (Dec. 2000) was offset ~8 months from the nearest marked events on both sides. This meant, in other words, that all of the events in the combined sequence, five in all, were equally distanced, 8-month apart!
What made this more remarkable was the fact that the rotation period of Venus, the planet intimately associated with the Mayan calendar, is 243 earth-days -- that is, almost exactly 8 months! (30x8=240.) Even Venus' orbital period around the sun turned out to be 225 earth days (7.5 months), very close to 8 months. [Update: the number '225' reinforces the the 9-11 connection in that 2001 was the 225th year from the birth of US, 1776!] Additionally, there was the complementary fact that the 'tzolkin' cycle of 260 days was an essential element of the Mayan calendar -- actually corresponding to the cycle of the interaction between the polar and equatorial magnetic fields of the sun (as pointed out by Cotterell).
These correlations strongly suggested to me that I was on the right track, and encouraged me to proceed further.
Contextual Resonance
To find more encoded patterns, I turned my attention to the first of the 'double sun' sequence composite taking place circa Aug. 1999. This was a conceptual 'preview' of its 'second peak' 2 years later, namely the 9/11 attacks. And this was not only in terms of X-72. Recently in May 2002, it was revealed that the first of the warnings about the coming major terrorist attack, i.e. '9/11', emerged in September 1999, exactly 2 years before 9/11.
So I naturally wondered if this same concept could be applied to the twin peaks of Cycle 23.
First, I had to refresh my memory regarding the world events at the time of the first solar peak in the spring/summer of 2000. Internationally, the major news around that time was the successive collapses of the critical Israel-Palestine peace talks in Israel and later at Camp David (US) mediated by Clinton and Albright (viewed as "the last chance for peace"). Semi-internationally, dominating the news in the same timeframe was the saga of the 'Cuban boy' Elian Gonzales in US who was eventually returned to Cuba. And Cuba was also a significant place esoterically in the summer of 2000 as it was then that the enigmatic underwater 'city' off the west coast of Cuba, widely speculated to be the ruins of 'Atlantis', was first discovered (investigation still continuing). So, it appeared that the first Cycle-23 peak was very 'Cuban' in nature and related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Now it was time to see if the second sunspot peak reflected, or actualized, the 'warning' of the first. Since the second peak is taking place right now (spring/summer of 2002), we can actually just look around to see if this may be the case. Though the time 'window' is still open as of this writing, we have already witnessed a political focus suddenly placed on Cuba in May. First, there was the historic visit of ex-President Carter to Cuba, which was then closely followed by President Bush addressing the Cuban-Americans in Florida, giving a speech on US-Cuba relations. And then the March and April of 2002 saw a major crisis in Israel, which was so severe that the rest of the world was also polarized and a lot of violence ensued. And we can also add that investigators are returning to the Cuban-"Atlantean" underwater city for more data in the same timeframe, and strangely the captured Taliban/Al Qaeda members are being held at 'Camp X-Ray' in Cuba.
So, it appeared to me that there was indeed a conceptual echo effect between the two sunspot peaks. But what about the current crisis of the Church coinciding with the second peak? It turns out that this does have important 'prophetic' implications, as we will see.
Extended Projection
Based on the empirical observations, it may be inferred that the 2000 US presidential election will have an 'echo' exactly 2 years later and this is scheduled to take place at the end of 2002.
What can this anticipated event be? Obviously, the implication is that there is to be some kind of election/voting that involves a major leader, or simply a change of leadership. One possibility is that the US will have a new president at/around the end of 2002.
[Update: In December 2002, Republican Senate majority leader Trent Lott, i.e. the leader of President Bush's political party, stepped down unexpectedly amid a big controversy that erupted after he made a seemingly racist statement in the same month. By vote, Bill Frist was quickly elected as new leader of the Republican party.]
Another possibility, which I consider more likely, is that we will see the exit of Pope John Paul II and the election of the next pope. This derives from the close parallel detected between US presidency and the papacy at this moment in history, as discussed in the Two Suns article -- after all, both are inseparable from Quatrain II-41. And especially because the last line of II-41 states: "When the great pontiff changes his abode".
[Update: Indeed, in accordance with the suspected parallel, the same period of December 2002 also saw the resignation of Cardinal Law of Boston Archdiocese (who is specifically named in this article below). It is very interesting that although the US President and the Pope survived the 'December window', the leaders just below them (Lott and Law) did make their exit concurrently. Certainly, then, we did indeed experience "a change of leadership" in the US and the Church in this December.]
It should also be pointed out that the prophetic motto assigned to Pope JPII, 'of the Labor of the Sun', directly associates him with the current solar maximum which indeed is a 'labored' state of the sun. Combined with the pronounced twin peaks of Cycle 23 (i.e. 'double sun'), it seems inevitable that JPII comes to be involved in the current cycle... probably by making his exit.
There is another reason why the papacy/Church is likely to 'fulfill' the 2-year offset 'echo' of the 2000 presidential election. For this, we need to project the sequence backwards just one step toward the past. By subtracting '8 months' from the first event, Aug. 1999 (X-72), we arrive at December 1998. Importantly, this is exactly two years away from the presidential election -- thus effectively making it a 'reverse-echo' event. So what happened in December 1998? The answer is: the historic impeachment of President Clinton. Needless to say, there is strong resonance here; after all, the impeachment was conceptually close to the presidency ending. This was the little 'preview' of the succeeding events in the 2-year cycle.
Now, what is important here is what led to Clinton's impeachment. It was, of course, the president's sexual misconduct (involving a young intern, Monica Lewinsky), the news of which broke in January of the same year (on Drudge Report). Therefore, if we are to expect an amplified 'echo' in/around December 2002 of the 'impeachment', it is reasonable to theorize that it is also to be preceded by a similar (but more serious) development, i.e. a serious sexual scandal. Could it be just coincidence that we are currently having the developing story of the sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests? The current scandal even began in January when Father Geoghan was convicted of sexually abusing a boy on January 18 (the news of Clinton's sex scandal broke on Jan. 19, '98). This strongly suggests that things are moving toward the 'impeachment' (i.e. the end) of the leadership of the Church, i.e. the Pope, near the end of 2002. (Although it is also possible to interpret the 'leader' as an American Cardinal namely Cardinal Law of Boston).
[Update: As already mentioned, Cardinal Law, named above, did step down in December 2002, in precise accordance with the projection! In retrospect, it appears that the 'echo effect' in this December window was not an 'amplified' but downgraded (by just one step) event. Did the number of people aware of the pattern reached a critical mass to slightly alter the pattern?]
Personally, I find it very unlikely that Pope JPII will stay in his office beyond 2002 (spring of 2003 at the latest), because as the 'Labor of the Sun'/'Solar Max' pope, it won't be symbolically very coherent for him to make his exit when the sun has become quiet. As he came into this world during a solar eclipse (another manifestation of the expression 'labor of the sun'), it would be symmetrically sound for him to exit in a similar symbolic context. My bet, therefore, is on the current development leading directly or indirectly to the pope leaving the office later this year. And it is very possible, as explained in my previous articles, that the subsequent papal election will produce 'two suns', either by ending up with two contenders claiming to be the pope, or something else similar in concept.
'It's the End of the World as We Know It, and I Feel Fine.'
Looking back, the controlled demolition of the Russian space station Mir in spring 2001 was eerily prophetic in that the name Mir means 'peace' and thus the end of Mir symbolically denoted the 'end of peace', which indeed was to be the case just several months later on 9/11. I was actually very much aware of this doomy symbolism of the planned destruction of Mir as early as 1999. In the Two Suns article, for example, I wrote: "since the name Mir means 'peace', the end of Mir has the ominous symbolic implication of the 'end of peace'". And I had also noted that "the name Solomon, deriving from salaam, [also] means 'peace'". This is important for in the same article I conceptually equated both Clinton and Pope JPII with Solomon (or Amenhotep III). Hence the 'end of peace' predicted by Mir and realized on 9/11 was also hinting at the imminent 'end of Pope John Paul II'. And congruently, we have earlier compared the pope's end to the 'end' (i.e. impeachment) of the other 'Solomon', Clinton.
Even more ominously, the term 'Mir' can also denote 'world', which means that the destruction of Mir was also the 'end of the world'. Perhaps this implication is applicable to the next solar maximum (Cycle 24) in 2012, when the world ends according to the Mayan calendar. It may be inferred that the sequenced events of the Cycle 23 solar max represent the 'watered down'/metaphoric preview of what is take place with the next peak of the sun that will in effect end the world.
My take on the coming 'end of the world' is this. Based on the 'message' of Cycle 23, it is possible to infer that what is to end in the next solar cycle, 24, would be the United States and the Catholic Church -- the two that have come to parallel each other in a prophetic context. In line with this interpretation, the pope list of St. Malachy has only two (possibly one) more popes to go after the current one. And as for America, I have other tangible data (which I won't discuss here) that strongly suggests that the United States' time is up at the beginning of the 21st century. Basically here is how I tend to look at the situation: the United States and the Church hit the iceberg during the peak of Cycle 23 (2001 +/-2 yr) and are now taking on water; and by the time of the peak of Cycle 24 around 2012, these titanic 'ships' will have gone vertical, sinking straight down to the bottom of the abyss. I'm not saying that these systems will cease to exist completely, but I would say at least their 'essence' will not be in existence soon after the end of this decade.
There is, however, a little light of hope in all this. The function of Mir did not simply cease to exist; it was smoothly passed on to a new space station, the ISS (International Space Station) which is currently under construction and orbiting the earth. In other words, the symbolic message seems to be that this is a time when the 'old world' ends and the 'new world' begins. This is a time of transition, not the end. It is certainly fitting that the name 'ISS' is reminiscent of 'ISIS', the Egyptian goddess of rebirth and the personification of Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. Indeed, as already mentioned, the day of the 'rebirth' (heliacal rising) of Sirius would correspond to the symbolic 'end date', 9/11. Like the phoenix, then, from the ashes of destruction is to rise the next incarnation to usher in the new age. (Here we come, Mars!)
Perhaps we are to learn from the 'message of Cycle 23' so that the 'end of the world' that the coming peak of Cycle 24 is scheduled to bring about will not necessarily have to be so literal. The more we become aware, the less physical/literal the manifestation of the pattern becomes. [Update: Was this concept demonstrated in December 2002?] Mankind, as is the sun, is in labor, and the best we can do is to properly prepare - mentally, physically, emotionally, and intellectually - for the inevitable.
