Hi everyone,
I’ve seen quite a few questions here from people who want to get into screen printing but feel overwhelmed by all the equipment options.
From my experience, the easiest way to start is with a screen printing kit, especially if you’re a beginner or setting up a small home studio. A good starter kit usually includes the basics like a screen frame, squeegee, inks, emulsion, and the tools you actually need to understand the process before investing in more advanced machines.
I recently came across a page that explains starter kits pretty clearly and offers different options depending on what you want to print (t-shirts, paper, etc.). If anyone is interested, you can check this screen printing kit selection here.
It helped me understand what’s essential and what’s not, without overcomplicating things. Curious to hear how others here started - did you go with a kit or build your setup piece by piece?
