Eridanus es la sexta constelación más grande de las 88 constelaciones modernas. También es una de las 48 constelaciones de Ptolomeo.
En su extremo austral está la estrella de primera magnitud Achernar (α Eri). Achernar es una estrella muy peculiar porque es una de las estrellas más planas conocidas. Las observaciones indican que su radio es casi 50% más largo en el ecuador que en los polos. Esto se debe a que la estrella rota a gran velocidad.

¿Quién es la Gente Hormiga?
Por todo el sudoeste americano encontramos petroglifos (grabados sobre piedra) o pictografías (pinturas sobre piedra) que representan entidades con largos y delgados cuerpos, ojos grandes, y cabezas protuberantes desde las que a veces sobresalen antenas. Estas extrañas figuras aparecen frecuentemente en una “posición de oración”, sus codos y rodillas puestos en ángulos rectos, semejante a la inclinación de las patas de las hormigas.
¿Representan estos dibujos a una raza de Gente Hormiga? ¿Registran éstos en realidad antiguos encuentros entre humanos y una especie alienígena?
¿Son las criaturas en verdad “alienígenas”, como aquellas del UFO crash de 1947, cerca de Roswell, Nuevo México? ¿O son alguna clase de anomalía de la criptobiología originaria de nuestro planeta? Si no, ¿son entonces manifestaciones meramente psicológicas - creaciones del inconsciente colectivo? Examinemos la evidencia.

“Aquellos que son de Orión” es el aparente significado del término Nefilim del Génesis 6:4 de la Nueva Biblia inglesa. Los investigadores masónicos Christopher Knight y Robert Lomas afirman que la raíz aramea de la palabra nephîli es un nombre para la constelación. Los Nefilim, claro, son conocidos para los lectores de Zecharia Sitchin. Este prolífico estudioso traduce la raíz sumeria NFL (¡no la liga del fútbol americana!) como “¡... aquellos que fueron lanzados a la Tierra!” La versión del Rey James los llama “los gigantes en la Tierra.” Justo antes del gran diluvio, “los hijos de los dioses,” interpretados como ángeles caídos o vigilantes, copularon con “las hijas de los hombres” para engendrar estos gigantes. Puede ser más que una coincidencia que Nefilim suene muy parecido a la palabra hebrea nemlh, que significa hormiga. En este caso, la morfología en lugar del tamaño es el factor principal.
Si los Nefilim son de hecho “de Orión,” la Gente Hormiga realmente podrían ser aquellos que fueron lanzados de los cielos, quizás del propio Orión.
Ya que la constelación asciende exactamente hacia el Este, uno podría pensar que el nombre Orión proviene de la palabra oriente. En realidad, se forma suprimiendo la “m" inicial de la raíz indoeuropea morui. Asombrosamente, esta palabra significa hormiga. Quizás la constelación fue llamada así a causa de que su antropomórfica cintura estrecha hace pensar en el insecto.
El término Hopi para Orión es Hotòmqam, que literalmente quiere decir “para colgar” (como las cuentas en un cordel) o “tres”. Esto podría hacer referencia a las tres estrellas del cinturón de Orión pero también a la forma tripartita de la hormiga: la cabeza, el tórax y el abdomen. Estas lustrosas secciones como cuentas del cuerpo de la hormiga pueden tener su equivalente celestial en la que los Hopi consideran la constelación más importante de los cielos. La aparición de Orión a través de las trampillas en lo alto de los kivas de los Hopi (las cámaras de oración semi-subterráneas) todavía sincroniza muchas sagradas ceremonias anuales.

Cuando Orión domina los cielos invernales, las hormigas están en lo profundo de sus propios “kivas” (colinas). Aunque esto parece contradictorio, el cenit y el nadir realmente son un eje shamánico que comprende el mundo subterráneo. Existen dos reinos separados en la cosmología de los Hopi: la superficie de la Tierra como el sitio de la actividad humana y una región combinada cielo/subterráneo como la casa de los espíritus, en particular los kachinas. (Para los Hopi un kachina es un espíritu enmascarado que puede asumir la forma de cualquier objeto físico, fenómeno, o ser viviente.)
Ambos, el montón de tierra de la hormiga con sus túneles oscuros y los kivas con su sipapuni (un agujero en el suelo que lo une simbólicamente al mundo subterráneo) expresan el plano inferior. Este se arquea paradójicamente hacia arriba por los cielos para servir como casa a los espíritus de la estrella.
El dios Hopi de la muerte, la tierra, y el averno se llama Masau'u. Como las hormigas, él posee el conocimiento de la superficie de la Tierra y de las regiones chthonic. Él lleva una máscara con agujeros de grandes ojos abiertos y una boca grande. Su enorme cabeza calva se parece a una calabaza, y su frente sobresale en una protuberancia. Sus pies son largos como un antebrazo, y su cuerpo es gris. Este color es esencial, puesto que su nombre viene de la palabra Hopi maasi, que significa gris. De hecho, esta descripción de la mitología Hopi está inquietantemente cerca de las imágenes contemporáneas de los extraterrestres Grises.
Masau'u también es el equivalente terrestre de Orión, cuyo nombre, como dijimos, significa hormiga. Los Hopi creen que las distancias son insignificantes para Masau'u ya que él puede atravesar toda la Tierra antes de que llegue la mañana. ¿Qué mejor manera hay para expresar el movimiento de Orión desde el Este al horizonte occidental durante la noche?

La palabra Hopi para hormiga es anu. En el mismo idioma naki quiere decir amigo, plumas de oración, ofrendas de comida, o arena - un nexo de conceptos que pertenecen a este insecto que a veces vuela. Una combinación de las dos palabras
(anu-naki, o “amigo hormiga”) puede relacionarse con el Anunnaki de Sitchin. El dios del cielo babilónico también se llamaba Anu. Un cilindro sumerio de alrededor del 2250 A.C. muestra el panteón de deidades principales llevando sombreros de pico. El dios Hopi del cielo Sotuknang, estrechamente asociado con el dios de la Tierra Masau'u, también lleva un tocado puntiagudo. Como sus colegas de Medio Oriente, estas divinidades indias americanas estuvieron presentes en la creación del Universo y continuaron jugando un papel decisivo en el desarrollo de la cultura.
Anu (o Danu) también era la denominación de la diosa madre céltica y patrona de la muerte. Además, Anu era otro nombre de la ciudad egipcia de Heliópolis donde se guardaba la piedra meteórica benben. Además, la palabra egipcia anu no sólo significaba productos, ingresos, o algo traído, sino también regalos, tributos, y ofrendas. Esto hace referencia a la capacidad de las hormigas de almacenar provisiones y a la veneración dada a la Gente Hormiga. En cualquier caso, su influencia es global.
Evidencia mitológica
Las hormigas jugaron un papel crucial en la supervivencia de los antiguos Hopi. Los grandes kivas de la Gente Hormiga proporcionaron un santuario durante la destrucción del Primer Mundo, o Primera Era, por el fuego (vulcanismo o asteroides) y el Segundo Mundo por el hielo (glaciares). [Por una posible ubicación de esto, ver en el sitio web de Jack Andrews “Lost City of the Dead in the Grand Canyon.”] Sólo los miembros virtuosos de la tribu que seguían una cierta nube de día y a cierta estrella de noche eran capaces de encontrar al dios del cielo Sotuknang. A las hormigas se las describe como generosas y trabajadoras, ofreciendo sustento a los Hopi cuando las provisiones escaseaban y enseñándoles las ventajas del almacenamiento de comida. De hecho, las hormigas tienen hoy tales cinturas delgadas, continúa la leyenda, porque otrora se privaron de alimentos. En otra versión de las primeras eras, los Hopi mismos son descritos como hormigas cuando estaban “abajo.” La palabra “abajo” alude al Kiva Hormiga y al Primero y Segundo Mundo Subterráneo. El Tercer Mundo anterior destruido por un diluvio también se conceptúa como que está debajo de la tierra, considerando que nuestro actual Cuarto Mundo está en la superficie de la Tierra.
Según un mito Hopi algo cruel sobre “porqué las hormigas son tan delgadas,” muchas hormigas vivían al este de Toko'navi, o Montaña de los Navaho cerca de la frontera de Arizona/Utah. Estos insectos no son descritos a la manera alegórica de una fábula de Esopo sino de un modo casi humanoide. Durante una iniciación de la Sociedad Kachina, dos hormigas fueron disfrazadas como los fieros gigantes Hu de los kachinas, y azotaron a los niños hormiga tan duramente que éstos terminaron casi cortados al medio, de ahí su delgadez. ¿Es ésta otra referencia a “los gigantes en la Tierra?”
Las hormigas son también asociadas con la guerra o la caza. Los Hopi creen que ambas características se relacionan con Orión en particular y con las estrellas en general. Esta tribu también conecta a las hormigas negras con la brujería. La palabra Hopi Toko'anu (similar al nombre de la montaña) significa literalmente hormiga carnívora, la gran hormiga roja oscura con una picadura dolorosa. Por otro lado, la Sociedad de la Hormiga Roja del Zuni, una tribu que vive cerca de los Hopi, es asociada con la curación.
En Mesoamérica, el pueblo Maya, que comparte muchas características culturales con los Hopi, relata leyendas de hormigas parecidas a hombres que construyen ciudades de piedra y caminos durante la Primera Creación (Mundo). Estos seres peculiares poseyeron poderes mágicos y podían emplazar las piedras en las posiciones arquitectónicas apropiadas silbando simplemente.
El arqueólogo J. Eric S. Thompson escribe: “Zayamuincob puede traducirse como ‘los hombres torcidos ' o ‘los hombres desarticulados, ' que hace pensar en una conexión con un ‘jorobado'. La palabra también puede relacionarse con zay, ‘hormiga' puesto que allí también hay una tradición Yucatec [Yucatán Maya] de una antigua raza llamada chac zay uincob, ‘los hombres hormiga roja'. Ellos eran trabajadores como las hormigas que sacan la tierra roja y hacen caminos rectos a través del bosque.”
La referencia a la joroba nos recuerda a Koko Pilau (Kokopelli), el flautista jorobado. Esto es la omnipresente figura de la fertilidad semejante a un insecto de los petroglifos del Sudoeste.
Hormigueros celestiales
Cada febrero los Hopi celebran el Baile del Frijol dentro de su kivas. Las fogatas se mantienen ardiendo continuamente, convirtiendo estas estructuras subterráneas en casas espléndidamente calientes. Este ritual puede conmemorar una época cuando la Gente Hormiga le enseñó al pueblo Hopi cómo hacer germinar frijoles dentro de las cavernas para sobrevivir. Los kachinas Hu antes mencionados son parte esencial de esta ceremonia para iniciar a los niños en la Sociedad de los Kachina.
Las hormigas resuenan profundamente en nuestras psiques como habitantes arquetípicos de mundos duales: el plano de la Tierra y el Averno. La evidencia lingüística y mitológica indica, sin embargo, que la imagen de antropoides semejantes a hormigas es más que una reacción psicológica ante la diminuta formica del mundo natural. ¿Por qué si no los medios de comunicación masiva les darían sistemáticamente a los ETs características de bichos? A diferencia de los vagos fantasmas de los sueños, la Gente Hormiga parece espantosamente real.
Si estas espeluznantes criaturas son una extinta o aislada especie terrestre como Pie Grande o el Monstruo del Lago Ness, todavía tenemos que descubrir algún esqueleto o evidencia fósil de su pasada existencia.

¿Fue la Gente Hormiga (nemlh) realmente la progenie (llamada Nefilim) de las mujeres que copularon con los ángeles rebeldes? ¿Llegó a Arizona un emisario de Orión, cuyo nombre significa hormiga, para convertirse en Masau'u, el dios de los Hopi semejante a una hormiga? ¿Estaba la Gente Hormiga dispuesta a salvar a los humanos virtuosos de dos diferentes cataclismos naturales porque los primeros veían en los últimos el reflejo genético de ellos mismos? ¿Eran los kivas semejantes a cuevas en las que los Hopi encontraron refugio en verdad los hormigueros de los Antiguos Seres de las Estrellas? Estas preguntas pueden ser al final incontestables. No obstante, las implicaciones nos mantienen intrigados.

San Marcos Evangelista (en griego: Μάρκος) (siglo I) es considerado tradicionalmente el autor del Evangelio de Marcos y el fundador y primer obispo de la Iglesia de Alejandría.
Marcos en el Nuevo Testamento y en otras fuentes [editar]
Suele identificársele con Juan, llamado Marcos. Este personaje aparece varias veces en los Hechos de los Apóstoles. Se le cita por primera vez en Hechos 12:12, cuando Simón Pedro, milagrosamente liberado de la cárcel, se refugia en casa de María, madre de "Juan, por sobrenombre Marcos". Acompañó a Pablo de Tarso y a Bernabé en el primer viaje de Pablo (Hechos 13:5), pero se separó de ellos cuando llegaron a Panfilia, regresando a Jerusalén (Hechos 13:13 en estos versículos se hace referencia a él simplemente como "Juan"). Cuando Pablo iba a iniciar su segundo viaje, tuvo una grave disputa con Bernabé a propósito de "Juan, llamado Marcos": Bernabé quería que fuese con ellos, pero Pablo se negaba, ya que les había abandonado en el viaje anterior. Pablo y Bernabé terminaron por separarse, y Marcos acompañó al segundo en su viaje a Chipre (Hechos 15:37-39).
No está claro si este personaje, "Juan, llamado Marcos" es el mismo al que se hace referencia en algunas epístolas atribuidas a Pablo, concretamente en 2Timoteo 4:11, Colosenses 4:10, Filemon 1:24 y en la Primera Epístola de Pedro (1Pedro 5:13). En Colosenses se dice de él que es primo, o sobrino, de Bernabé, lo que podría explicar que éste disputase con Pablo acerca de Marcos.
En el final de la Primera Epístola de Pedro, éste se refiere a "mi hijo Marcos". Mientras que las iglesias copta, católica y ortodoxa aseguran que se trata de un hijo espiritual (es decir, que Marcos hubiese sido bautizado por Pedro) o que simplemente Pedro le tenía mucho cariño, varios teólogos protestantes no tienen inconveniente en interpretar que podría tratarse de un hijo físico.
Según el Evangelio que se le atribuye, cuando Jesús fue apresado en el Huerto de los Olivos, le seguía un joven envuelto en una sábana, habiendo especulado algunos con la posibilidad de que este joven fuera el mismo Juan Marcos.
La tradición dice que Marcos evangelizó como Obispo de Alejandría, en Egipto, donde realizó varios milagros y estableció una iglesia y su famosa escuela cristiana, nombrando un obispo, tres presbíteros y siete diáconos y murió allá como mártir en el año 68, un 25 de abril.
Según la tradición, la Iglesia Copta de Etiopía tiene su origen en las prédicas de San Marcos, autor del Segundo Evangelio en el siglo I, que llevó el cristianismo a Egipto en la época del emperador Nerón.
Los Hechos de San Marcos, un escrito de mitad del siglo IV, refieren que San Marcos fue arrastrado por las calles de Alejandría, atado con cuerdas al cuello. Después lo llevaron a la cárcel y al día siguiente le volvieron a aplicar el mismo martirio hasta que falleció. Luego echaron su cuerpo a las llamas, pero los fieles lograron sacarlo y evitar su destrucción.

La particularidad de esta línea de perihelio/afelio de Mercurio es que está alineada con la Línea fija formada por Orión/Sol/CentroGaláctico, y como la Tierra pasa cada 19 de junio entre el Sol y el Centro galáctico, eso significa que también en ese día pasa frente al afelio de la órbita Mercurio, y frente al perihelio el 19 de diciembre.
Si "eliminamos" la excentricidad y convertimos la órbita de Mercurio es un círculo racional perfectamente equidistante del Sol, resulta que la órbita de Mercurio inscribe a un pentágono (inscrito en la órbita "perfeccionada" de Mercurio), y este pentágono es la figura interior que resulta de la estrella de 5 puntas formada por la Tierra y Venus durante 8 órbitas de la Tierra y 13 de Venus (8 años), lo cual es el Ciclo Pentagonal.

The belt stars correspond to Third, Second, and First Mesas. The distance between Betatakin and Canyon de Chelly is stretched about 12 miles in relation to the constellation; the distance between Walnut Canyon and Homolovi is stretched about 10 miles--not bad, considering it's over 110 miles between Betatakin in the north and Homolovi in the south.

The red dot at the center of the Flower of Life is called the Tuuwanasavi, literally "sand-middle." It is is conceptualized as the Center-place,
the spiritual heart of the Hopi cosmos. This sandy plain is actually located about 4 miles south-southwest of the village of Oraibi on Third Mesa.
In the ancient Egyptian cosmogony, a similar spot corresponds to the Primordial Mound rising from the Ocean of Creation, where the temple at Heliopolis was later constructed. This axis mundi housed the conically shaped, meteoric benben stone, upon which the Bennu bird (phoenix) perched. The inner rectangle (above) is comprised of four loci: (1) Betatakin / Keet Seel (Navajo National Monument), (2) Canyon de Chelly National Monument (which jointly form the base of the Orion projection on the Arizona desert and run along the northeastern escarpment of Black Mesa), (3) Sunset Crater National Monument (a volcano that erupted in 1064 AD), and (4) a point about 18 miles south of Homolovi Ruins State Park, which is located on the right arm of the terrestrial Orion as it reaches southward toward the ancient Hohokam territory in the Phoenix Basin. It's too bad that the Flower of Life doesn't pass through Las Vegas, as it would likely improve the luck of those taking advantage of Vegas vacation packages!

Sirius, the brightest star in the heavens, corresponds to Chaco Canyon, the largest Ancestral Puebloan ruin site in the American Southwest.
Gary David's books contend that the Chichimecs (literally "Sons of the Dog") lived in Chaco Canyon and perhaps constructed the pueblos there,
before they migrated southward in the 13th century AD to become the Aztecs in the Valley of Mexico.

About 45 miles south of Ajo, Arizona, on the U.S.-Mexico border is Vertex 17 of the Becker-Hagens "Earthstar" Planetary Grid System.
This grid point is one of 62 major vertices of the mercator-based hexakis icosahedron projected on the Earth globe. With 120 faces, 180 edges,
and 62 vertices, the hexakis icosahedron can be conceptualized as a giant earth-crystal. Coordinates for Cerro Cubabi: 31.72° N, 112°.80W.
Two great circles enclose the Arizona Orion Correlation: an orange “Yang” great circle and a lime-green “Balance” great circle.
This respectively represents Orion's characteristic male, or yang, energy and the Hopi ceremonial cycle that functions to keep the Earth in balance.

This Golden Mean spiral starts at the Throat chakra located at Grand Falls, arcs through the San Francisco Peaks (home of the kachinas, or katsinam), sweeps by the Hopi villages of Oraibi, Shungopovi, and Walpi (the Belt), intersects Orion's right hand, circles into the Hyades horns, and passes through Gamma Tauri.

This Golden Mean spiral starts at the Sipapuni (Hopi "Place of Emergence"), arcs through Oraibi (oldest continuously inhabited community on the continent, settled c. A.D. 1100), swings through the Third Eye chakra of Orion at Walnut Canyon, then continues its sweep through the middle of the horns of Taurus.

The Arizona Orion Correlation's upper part is oriented southwest. The left arm extends from Bellatrix/Wupatki Ruin toward Grand Canyon. It passes Hopi Point on the South Rim, and terminates within the canyon near a butte named Osiris Temple. It celestially corresponds to Pi 3 Orionis.
The Sipapuni (Sípàapuni), or Hopi "Place of Emergence," is a travertine (limestone) dome located on the north bank of the Little Colorado River.
Specifically, it corresponds to Pi 5 Orionis. However, the possible exoplanet status of Pi 3 Orionis and the wormhole nature of the Sipapuni
jointly represent the general function of Grand Canyon in Hopi cosmology. The Hopi perhaps see the Sipapuni as the most sacred spot on Earth.

Looking towrd the southeast, we see the location of the ancestral Hopi ruin site of Wupatki National Monument (corresponding to Bellatrix,
left shoulder of the Ari-zona Orion Correlation). The San Francisco Peaks, home of the Hopi kachinas from July until December, are a few miles
to the south. The Hopi Mesas are over 50 miles northeast of Wupatki. The Sipapuni is located on the Little Colorado River 3.5 miles upstream
from its confluence with the Colorado River. Osiris Temple (corresponding to Pi 3 Orionis) is downstream on the north bank of the Colorado River.
The ancient Egyptians associated Osiris with Orion. Today some people believe that a "Lost City of the Dead," was once located in Grand Canyon. It was reputedly found in 1909 by G.E. Kincaid on an expedition for the Smithsonian Institution. He described it as being filled with ancient Egyptian artifacts, mummies, and hieroglyphics as well as some Asian artifacts. Other people believe the complex is still there, waiting to be rediscovered.

The Zulu sangoma (shaman) Credo Mutwa states that creatures from a certain star in Orion built an ancient subterranean city of copper in the Rwenzori Mts. ("Mountains of the Moon"), located on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Great Zimbabwe in southern Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) is 320 miles south of the Zambezi River, 1270 – 1550 AD, population c. 18,000. At this eponymous site the roofless oval structure of the "Great Enclosure" is 800 ft long. Its mortar-less granite walls are 30 ft. high and 20 ft. thick at the base. Small monoliths on top of the eastern arc of the Great Enclosure align with three stars in the constellation Orion: Bellatrix, Alnilam, and Saiph shortly before sunrise on winter solstice.

This possible Orion Correlation is located in the Mexican states of Tabasco and Chiapas. Tortuguero corresponds to Alnitak. (The Great Pyramid at Giza and Hopi First Mesa in Arizona also mirror this belt star.) Chilapa corresponds to Alnilam (the middle belt star), and Tepetitán corresponds to Mintaka. Comalcalco corresponds to Betelgeuse, but perhaps only symbolically so. This Maya city that burgeoned between 700 and 900 AD is unique because its pyramids are constructed of kiln-fired bricks. Moreover, many of the mud bricks had been inscribed with Mayan glyphs, but over 500 of them contain various foreign scripts, such as Phoenician, Egyptian, Libyan, Tifinagh, Chinese, Burmese, and even Ogam.
Jmetic Lubton, which corresponds to Saiph, was a ceremonial city with a carved sculpture of what in Tzotzil means “Our Mother Tired Rock.” The famous Maya site of Palenque corresponds to Rigel. However, even if that apex of the constellation is moved north to coincide with the actual site, we still have Tila/Orion Nebula at the center of the three Mayan hearthstones.
According to National Geographic photographer Stephen Alvarez, the Maya hold a ceremony at Tila dedicated to a black earth god, perhaps Ek Chuuah or God M/L. “Every June [solstice?] thousands and thousands of people crowd into the Chiapas town of Tila to see the Black Christ which hangs in the Catholic church in town. The town more than triples in size during the pilgrimage. Maya scholars have told me that the Black Christ is an embodiment of a Maya earth lord and that the blending of Catholic and Maya traditions is a prime example of syncretic religion.”

of the end of the 13th Baktun--that is, December 21, 2012 !

GIZA, ORION
AND THE PLANETARY DESIGN |

| The search on the enigma of Giza has known decisive carrying out with the fundamental intuition of Robert Bauval, according to which the three Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure represent the three stars of the Belt of Orion, just as the Nile represents the Milky Way. I will have necessarily to give for discounted the acquaintance of the details of the theory of Bauval (then developed with Graham Hancock); I limit myself to point out the salient aspects of the stellar correlation supported by Bauval and Hancock: the perfect correspondence between sky and earth would have taken place in 10.500 a.C., at the beginning of the age of the Lion (represented on earth by the Sphinx), when Orion was at the lowest point of its precessional cycle and therefore it was at its "first time". Moreover, at the dawn of the spring equinox in the years around 10.500 a.C., it happened that not only the Great Sphinx faced the rising of the sun in the constellation of the Lion, but also that the Belt of Orion culminated at the meridian in the same moment. It was just this heavenly configuration, so powerful and evocative, to induce Bauval and Hancock to identify the First Time of Orion with the First Time of the gods (Zep Tepi) who reigned, according to the myths, at the beginning of the egyptian civilization. |

| The correspondence between sky and earth |
| In truth it is just on this last aspect that Bauval and Hancock fall in error. The perfect correspondence between sky and earth came true not in 10.500 a.C., but approximately 1500 years before, around 12.000 a.C. In order to verify this matter we must arrange two maps: an astronomical map (centered on the heavenly region of Orion) and a geographical map (limited to the terestrial region surrounding Giza, that is to say the area of the necropolis of Memphis); then we must superpose the two maps, and this is a geometrically complex operation that I am forced to fly over for the sake of brevity. I will simply say that, put some premises, it is possible to superpose the two maps making Alnitak coincide with the Pyramid of Khufu and aligning the heavenly meridian with the geographical one. Now, the result of this operation is not univocal, but it changes with the age to which the astronomical map refers, just as the aspect of the sky changes accordingly to the precession of the equinoxes. In fact, while the geographical meridian on the terrestrial map is fixed (and correspondent to the axis of the Pyramids, which are aligned very precisely to the cardinal points), the orientation of the heavenly meridian on the astronomical map changes accordingly to the precessional cycle. What is the result? If we use first an astronomical map of 4500 a.C. (presumptive age of the Great Pyramid), secondly one of 10.500 a.C. (First Time of Orion) and finally one of 12.000 a.C. and we superpose them upon the geographical map, we achieve the results represented in picts. 1, 2 and 3. From the comparison of these three images it can be observed that the firmament seems rotating counter-clockwise around Alnitak going back in time: if in the first case (presumtive age of the Great Pyramid) the Belt of Orion appears remarkably off the axis in respect of the Pyramids, in the second case (the First Time of Orion) the error appears much smaller; yet only the astronomical map of 12.000 a.C. enables the perfect coincidence of the axis of the Belt with the axis of the three Pyramids of Giza. |

| The First Time of Sirius |
|
If the hypothesis of the stellar correlation is valid, it is simply unthinkable that Sirius — the most important star for the egyptian civilization — does not have a place in the scheme; but on this aspect the theory of Bauval and Hancock is rather inadequate, since Sirius does not play any role. Therefore, at this point, the problem is discovering how Sirius become part of the game.
Let's go back to pict. 3, which represents the superposition of the geographical map of Giza upon the astronomical map of 12.000 a.C., and let us pay attention on the diagonal axis that goes from the north-east angle to the south-west angle of the square of the base of the Great Pyramid: this axis, extended south-west, passes close to the other two Pyramids, while extended north-east it passes near Sirius. Just this is the key of the problem: the proper motion of Sirius is remarkable, which means that its position in respect of the other stars changes with the time (more than one degree in 3000 years). Now, if we check what was the position of Sirius in 12.000 a.C., we find out that the star was placed just on the diagonal axis that goes from the Great Pyramid in the superposed map (see picts. 4 e 5). It is extremely improbable that a correlation so precise and symbolically pregnant can simply be fruit of the chance, especially if we consider also what has been discovered by Bauval and Hancock on the stellar religion of the ancient egyptians. But there is also another element that makes us be inclined to the intentionality of this scheme, and it is that the date of 12.000 a.C. is very close to the "first time" of Sirius: to be more precise, approximately 13.850 years ago the star was at the minimal height on the horizon within its precessional cycle. In other words, the date of 12.000 a.C. corresponds to the First Time of Sirius just like the date of 10.500 a.C. corresponds to the First Time of Orion |

There is one more reason that makes absolutely peculiar the date of 12.000 a.C.: Sirius, in that remote age, was crossed also by another alignment, that one defined by the stars Rigel and Saiph, the "feet" of the heavenly figure of Orion (see pict. 6); but it is not all. Let us imagine to be at Giza, at the dawn of the spring equinox, 14.000 years ago. Let us turn the look at the southern sky. In that precise moment, Sirius culminates at the meridian, as high on the horizon as 1,15° approximately, while Rigel and Saiph were at its right and at the same height on the horizon: the Sirius-Rigel-Saiph alignment is therefore parallel to the horizon, so that the divine figure of Osiris (with whom Orion is identified) appears straight and nearly seems walking on the line of the horizon, beside his consort Isis (with whom Sirius is identified) just when she crosses the heavenly meridian.
The powerful mythological and astronomical symbolism includes also another fascinating aspect: the First Time of Sirius happened just in the middle of the precessional age of the Virgin (that goes approximately from 15.050 to 12.900 years ago); but just like the Sirius star, also the constellation of the Virgin is identified with the goddess Isis. Therefore an observer placed at Giza, at the dawn of the spring equinox in 12.000 a.C., turning its look at east would have seen the heavenly Virgin (assimilated to Isis) together with the Sun on the horizon, while turning its look 90° right, at south, he would have seen Sirius (assimilated to Isis too), at the culmination, grazing the horizon as well; turning its look some more right, he would have seen Orion (assimilated to Osiris) "standing" on the horizon, as high as Sirius. In this moment, moreover, the axis of the Belt of Orion crossed Sirius exactly.
Now, I would like to remind the reader a ritual expression that used to be pronounced during the cerimonial of interment of the defunct Pharaoh, in the context of a rite that meant to evoke symbolically the divine connection between the deceased (assimilated to Osiris) and the star Sirius (the goddess Isis). The above mentioned expression (passage 632 of the Texts of Pyramids) recites like this: "Your sister (wife), Isis, comes to you overflowing with love. You have placed her on your penis and your sperm gushes inside her, ready like Sirius, and Horus-Sopd has come to you like Horus who is in Sirius ". Well, if we assume that the axis of the Belt of Orion symbolizes the penis of Osiris and that Sirius symbolizes the womb of Isis, the entire heavenly configuration above described seems to be an evident representation of the insemination of Isis by means of Osiris, with the consequent birth of Horus-Sun, carried to light by the heavenly Virgin. |

The principle of the stellar correlation, postulated by Bauval, can be considered reasonably demonstrated, because of the elements above stated. Seeding many clews with masterly skill and knowledge, the ancient planners have lead us to trace the superposed map of Giza and Orion, they has shown us the stellar clock of Sirius aimed at the date of 12.000 a.C., they has revealed us the powerful heavenly configuration which took place at the dawn of the spring equinox of that remote age. Still, the principle of the stellar correlation has not been but the instrument with which defining the language of the communication and suggesting in what direction to go on. In my opinion the suggestion is evident: developing the idea of superposing, one upon the other, the heavenly and the terrestrial maps, extending the operations to the heavenly vault and to the terrestrial surface in their totality.
Just this has been, since the beginning, my instinctive conviction. Following the thread of such reasoning, I imagined the heavenly sphere like a glass globe which had to be superposed upon the terrestrial globe; Alnitak in the Belt of Orion and the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza had to represent, of course, the points of collimation of the two spheres. Made the two points coincide, then the heavenly sphere had to be rotated around this sort of hinge, until the perfect alignment between the geographical meridian and heavenly meridian of 12.000 a.C. (the same alignment shown in pict. 3) was reproduced. I decided to call that unusual map of the world "sky-earth globe".
In truth, the first element that came out was an evident incoherence: I could expect a perfect coincidence of the poles of the two spheres at the date of 12.000 a.C. (if the principle of the correlation was valid), instead the poles in the sky-earth globe did not coincide at all, neither in that date nor in any other. Therefore I began to think that, perhaps, the message contained in the scheme consisted just in the incoherence found: if in the sky-earth globe the poles did not coincide, perhaps that was because we were using the present order of the terrestrial globe; but what about the past? Was it possible that once the geographical poles were situated elsewhere, and just in the spots required by the coherence of the sky-earth superposition scheme? What we needed was a movement of the poles, happened some time in the past, such to break the initial coherence of the scheme; and then I wondered if a theory which described phenomena of that kind existed in the scientific culture. Well, such a theory did exist, and it was well known from some time, even if at the margins of the academic circle. It was at that point that my search met the theory of Charles Hapgood about the shiftings of the lithosphere. He maintains that the lithosphere, in certain conditions, can globally shift in respect of the fluid mantle below, in such way that regions first situated near the poles then, after the shifting, are placed at lower latitudes, and vice versa. We can imagine an event of that kind resorting to the image of an orange peel that gets separated from the inner content of the fruit, being so able to rotate independently from it. The consequences of such an event, that according to Hapgood should accomplish in a few thousands of years or maybe less, are evident: immense climatic upset, sudden thaws and dramatic glaciations, elevation of the sea level, alteration of the coastal lines, disappearance of entire regions, mass extinction of animal and vegetable species. The interesting matter is that all above said could have happened the last time no more than 12.000 years ago, when the last big, sudden mass extinction took place.
Hapgood went so far as to establish that the lithosphere should have undergone three shiftings within the last 80.000 years. Until about 80.000-75.000 years ago the North Pole was situated in the District of Yukon, in Canada, approximately at lat. 63° N long. 135° W (for convenience of exposition I call 1 such position), then the lithosphere underwent a shifting that placed the North Pole in the Greenland Sea, approximately at lat. 72° N long. 10° E (I call 2 such position). This situation has kept until about 55.000-50.000 years ago, when a new shifting placed the North Pole in the Hudson Bay, again in Canada, approximately at lat. 60° N long. 83° W (I call 3 such position). Finally, around 17.000-12.000 years ago it occurred the last shifting, that moved the Pole from the Hudson Bay to the present position (I call 4 such position). |

| The planetary design |
| My idea was to represent these three ancient polar sites on the globe sky-earth. As soon as the operation was accomplished, it did not take long for me to realize that the most "impossible" correlation shown itself to my eyes: all three ancient polar sites in the northern hemisphere (and obviously the same thing happens in the southern hemisphere) are situated very close to the circle that represents the path of the heavenly poles (see pict. 7)! The average error is about 2,83°, that is some more than 300 km, too small a value to believe simply in a fortuitous case. But not only this: the path of Sirius passes not far away from two of these sites, providing also a visual image of the migration that the North Pole performed from the Greenland Sea to the Hudson Bay. I had discovered the "planetary design": with that name I decided to call the correlation scheme between the globe sky-earth and the shiftings of the lithosphere. |

It is meaningful, in my opinion, that there are three precise dates when the coherence of the planetary design is perfect (that is, it occurs the coincidence of the heavenly poles with the terrestrial poles): these dates are 101.650 before present (coincidence around position 1), 64.550 b.p. (coincidence around position 2) and 29.500 b.p. (coincidence around position 3), and such dates are each in the middle of the geological ages beaten out by the shiftings of the poles described by the theory of Hapgood. But the planetary design offers more. Let us consider the configuration of the site of Giza, the main axis of which be pointed out: the axis north/south and east/west, the north-east/south-west diagonal axis (the one that crosses Sirius in 14.000 b.p., see again picts. 4 and 5), and finally the axis defined by the causeway that leaves a structure beside the base of the Great Pyramid and goes approximately in the direction 15° north of the east. If we check on the sky-earth globe the intersections of such axis with the path of Sirius we discover that:
- the axis east/west intersects the path of Sirius around the date of 83.600 b.p.;
- the axis of the causeway intersects the path of Sirius around the date of 51.700 b.p.;
- the diagonal axis (axis of the Belt) intersects the path of Sirius around the date of 14.000 b.p. (which corresponds, as we already know, to the First Time of Sirius).
We can see that ther is an amazing agreement with the dates pointed out by Hapgood for the shiftings of the poles (considering also the comparative uncertainty that affects the geological data). Now, what I would like to remark is this: maybe the theory of Hapgood is by itself wrong; and maybe the theory of the stellar correlation, fully expressed in the sky-earth globe, is by itself wrong too. But is it possible that two theories, one independent from the other, are both wrong and still provide elements which are substantially concordant? Yes, of course it is possible; but as well improbable as the case of two liars, who never met, who invent two tales perfectly coherent one with the other.

| A world-wide geodetic network |

There are others, astonishing proofs that confirm the planetary design. Little above I have pointed out that the path of Sirius approximately represents the "jump" that the North Pole performed from the Greenland Sea to the Hudson Bay. Following the path of Sirius on the sky-earth globe I noticed that it passed close to ancient Teotihuacan, in Mexico. Surprised by this case, I wanted to check if there were any relationship between the most famous Avenue of the Dead of Teotihuacan and the two ancient polar sites: well, the axis of the Avenue of the Dead aims at both with excellent approximation; in other words, the axis of the Avenue points at that direction which has been the north/south direction for nearly 60.000 years, until the most recent polar shifting (see pict. 8).
Pushed by this extraordinary discovery I wanted to check if also the other two "polar jumps" had any important objective. It did not take long to ascertain that nothing less Giza itself is the objective of the first polar jump, while Angkor in Cambodia is the same thing for the third jump (see pict. 9). The errors are included between 1 and 2 degrees approximately: too small a value to believe simply in a chance. |

| But these three sites — Giza, Teotihuacan, Angkor — are not but the cornerstones a very world-wide geodetic network, which reveals itself as soon as the order of Earth in the past is examined into details. Let us go ideally in the most remote age, the First Age, which should have extended since 120.000 to 75.000 years ago approximately, when the North Pole was situated in the District of Yukon; during this long period the latitude of Giza, that is today 30° N, was 3,6° N: therefore Giza was situated very close to the Equator, an element surely foreseen by the scheme. All the more so as in proximity of that ancient equatorial circle many of the enigmatic sites of the planet can be found: Tiahuanaco, Machupicchu, Nazca, the Easter Island, Angkor, the Hindu valley with Moenjo Daro and Harappa (see picts. 10 and 11). Even the position of Sirius in the sky-earth globe is coherent with this scheme: in fact the star too, in the First Age, was inside the same narrow equatorial band in which the above mentioned sites were situated. |

| Conclusions |
| Other correlations come out from the examination of the order of Earth in the Second and Third Age, but at this point we have already collect enough elements to draw some fundamental conclusions. For what purpose the planetary design was devised and realized? In my opinion the answer is evident. The men who accomplished the planetary design wanted to inform the mankind to come respect to events with catastrophic consequences, which took place in the past and which surely shall take place again in the future: the shiftings of the lithosphere. Probably, it was just one of such events to cause the destruction of that antediluvian civilization about which many myths tell all over the world. |
