First, NYC/Long Island can be associated with 'knowledge' through the symbolisms of 'apple' ("Big Apple"), 'rose' (state flower), 'fire' (Statue of Liberty, its connection to Paris/'torch'), etc. and as we've seen in foregoing sections it's part of the 'ark' complex via VI-97. Furthermore from the 'apple' connection follows the notion of the 'serpent'. Now, all those 'knowledge'/Sirius connections of NYC can be transferred to Mars because, as illustrated in 'Babylon Matrix', NYC is also related to Mars, especially the Cydonia region with all the potentially artificial structures. Mars being red and circular is associatable with the 'apple', the red and round 'Big Apple' (NYC). Now, some might argue that the fruit Eve ate was not necessarily an 'apple', but we generally thought of it as an apple today and that has to count in symbolism. But there is a much more precise connection - the latitudes of NYC and Cydonia are exactly the same, 40.5~41N.
The events closely associated earlier with X-72 and more or less with the ark, the two random shootings in a library and school ('Resonance' #7 and 8), appear to back up the Mars-Sirius connection also. Those two similar events, only five days apart, occurred one on the Cydonian latitude and the other on the Sirius 'angle' latitude. The Mormon library shooting took place at ~40.5N, and the Colorado school shooting at ~39.5N. The name 'Salt Lake City', where the library shooting occurred, may be relevant also since mythologically the 'salt water' is of female - and Sirius is filled with female associations ('goddess', 'star of Women', etc.).
Moreover, Temple mentions in his book that "when making rhetorical allusion to the Dog Days, the Latins would often speak of Sirius being red at the time..." Now, this is quite significant for not only is Sirius described as 'red' like Mars, but the "Dog Days" would refer to a period in or around July - the exact time-frame indicated by Quatrain X-72.
The Sirius-correlated Argo also turns out to be very relevant here. Because the main mission of Jason, the leader of the Argonauts who has been identified as the "appeasing King"/"King of terror" of X-72 earlier, was to obtain the 'golden fleece', and in Temple's words, "Aries was definitely identified with the golden fleece". In case you don't know, Aries is the Greek Mars. Aries is also a sign of the zodiac, "ruled" by Mars, and it is classified as a 'fire sign' - correlating with the fire-knowledge symbolism. I should also point out that Mars is called 'fire star' in Japanese.
Moreover, Sirius/Isis' son Horus provides intriguing correlations. First, the Great Sphinx associated earlier with 'ark' was called by Egyptians "Horus of Horizon" which also happens to be a name given to Mars. And the word 'Cairo', where the Sphinx is (actually slightly west of Cairo), is derived from 'Mars'. Mars was also called 'Horus the Red'. And the word 'Heru' (Egyptian name for Horus) also has the meaning of 'face' - seemingly a reference to the infamous 'Face on Mars' at Cydonia! (So, as you can see, the Mars-Horus connection is quite obvious.) Next, Sirius/ark comes into the web of associations, as the Argo also relates to Horus (thus to Mars too) as the Greek derivation of Horus, 'Circe', plays a prominent role in the story of Argo. Also, as Temple hypothesizes, the names of the original captain of Argo, Herakles, and his protectress Hera may be derived from 'Heru' - the Egyptian name for Horus. Furthermore, we're told that Herakles/Hera is related to the word 'Seirios' from which we have the word 'Sirius' - strengthening the Mars-ark-Sirius connection. But as if it wasn't enough, Temple goes on to point out that 'Seirios' also has the meaning of 'fiery/scorching', that can easily be a reference to Mars.
And finally, Mars and Sirius are linked by the 'tetrahedral angle' of 19.5 degrees. '19.5 degrees' is one of the most significant notions derived from the supposed artificial structures of Cydonia that suggests their artificiality, according to investigators like Richard Hoagland ('The Monuments of Mars'). It is viewed as a definite 'signal in the noise' - some kind of a 'message' left there by some intelligence. This number, '19.5', is called t, the 'tetrahedral constant', because of its significance in tetrahedral geometry (a tetrahedron is a pyramid shape composed of four equilateral triangular sides): the apexes of a tetrahedron when placed within a circumscribing sphere, one of the tetrahedron's apexes touching the south (or north) pole, the other three apexes touch the surface of the sphere at 19.5 degrees north latitude. So it is interesting that the Egyptian symbol for Sirius is a triangle which can be viewed as a 2-dimensional representation of a tetrahedron.

 Not much is know about the caravel, where and when built unknown. Tonnage 200 ton, dim. 85 x 25 x 14ft. (draught) Four masts, fore and main mast square rigged, mizzen and Bonaventura mast lateen rigged. She was the flagship of Don Pedro de Mendoza (1487-1537) expedition to the River Plata. Mendoza held a post in the court of Charles V, when he in 1534 made an offer to Emperor Charles V to make an expedition on his own account for the discovery and conquest of Paraguay and the countries on the Rio La Plata. 24 August 1534 Mendoza on board the MAGDALENA and 13 other vessels, with 3000 men set sail from San Lucar, Spain. Receive from the Emperor before sailing 2.000 ducats, with the condition, when he transported to the new founded colonies 1000 colonists and 100 horses, build a road to the Pacific Ocean, erect three forts within two years he would receive 2.000 ducats more. Also he had to take 8 monks, a physician, a surgeon, and an apothecary, but he was forbidden to introduce a lawyer in the colony. He was to have half the treasure of the chiefs killed and nine-tenths of the ransom. Mendoza was made before sailing military governor of all the territory between the Rio de la Plata and the Strait of Magellan. The office of the Governor was also made hereditary. Off the coast of Brazil the fleet was scattered in a heavy storm, and Medoza lieutenant Osario, was assassinated, according to some authorities by the orders of Mendoza himself because of suspected disloyalty. 1535 Mendoza sailed up the Rio de la Plata, and founded Buenos Aires on 02 February 1536. He erected two forts there to defend the place. Pestilence broke out and the natives became unfriendly after ill treatment by the Spaniards. His brother Don Diego led a force against the hostile tribes, but was killed with three-fourths of his men. A general conspiracy of the natives was formed, and Buenos Aires was captured and burned by the natives. Mendoza retired to the forth Sanctus-Spiritus, from where he dispatched Juan de Ayolas to explore the upper part of the river. Another brother, Gonzalo arrived with reinforcements and founded the city of Ascención in Paraguay in 1536. Mendoza, disappointed and with a broken health, embarked on board the MAGDALENA for Spain in 1537, leaving Juan de Ayolas in charge. During the long voyage to Spain he died maniac on board the MAGDALENA on 23 June 1537. The fate of the MAGDALENA is not known. Canal Magdalena: Tráfico del 3% y las falacias del Gobierno
El Gobierno llamará a licitación del Canal Magdalena. Los expertos advierten que solo beneficia al 3% del tráfico y genera gasto y costos a los exportadores.

El Gobierno llama a licitación del Canal Magdalena pero hay muchas dudas sobre sus beneficios.
Este jueves (20/4) el presidente Alberto Fernández encabeza un acto en la localidad bonaerense de Ensenada, donde se anuncia el llamado a licitación del Canal Magdalena que, según el anuncio oficial, “permitirá la conexión marítima entre los puertos del Río de la Plata y del litoral marítimo de las provincias argentinas, estableciendo un corredor logístico nacional para el comercio exterior”.
Varias preguntas al respecto. Para empezar, ¿llegarán a licitar? La inversión significa $ 40.000 millones. Luego, surgen otras incógnitas: ¿se justifica la inversión? ¿habrá más costos de mantenimiento? ¿se ahorrarán los buques horas de navegación? ¿cuál es el interés de China? ¿servirá para levantar a la alicaída Marina Mercante?
Los “beneficios” según el Gobierno
En el anuncio del acto que Fernández compartirá con el gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof; el ministro de Transporte, Diego Giuliano, y el intendente de Ensenada, Mario Secco, Presidencia envió a la prensa el siguiente resumen con los “beneficios de la construcción del Canal Magdalena”:
-El Canal Magdalena permitirá tener una ruta marítima propia porque será una puerta de entrada y de salida nacional hacia el océano Atlántico.
-La construcción es imprescindible ya que el nivel de profundidad de las aguas impide que los buques lo utilicen como vía de acceso a los puertos fluviales del Río de la Plata, el Río Paraná y el Río Uruguay.
El proyecto Canal Magdalena es la prolongación en línea recta del tramo del Canal Punta Indio a partir de la curva El Codillo en el Km 143,9 hasta la zona de profundidades naturales en el Rio de la Plata con una longitud de 61,5 kms. Hoy el tráfico de buques que ingresan al Sistema de Navegación Troncal (SNT) lo hace por el Canal Punta Indio en el Km 239,1.
-En la actualidad, un buque que ingresa a puertos fluviales argentinos a través del Río de la Plata, debe esperar en una zona ubicada en aguas de uso común de ese río, cuyo tráfico se encuentra administrado por Uruguay.
-La primera etapa será de trabajos de campo del Canal y tendrá una duración de 7 meses, mientras que la segunda será la ejecución del dragado de apertura hasta la profundidad de 11 metros con un tiempo de 21 meses.
-Las ventajas con respecto al Canal de Punta Indio incluyen la reducción del recorrido de navegación de 95,2 km (Canal Punta Indio) a 54 km; mayor velocidad de navegación y dimensiones para adaptarse a nuevas embarcaciones; navegación más segura; reducción del impacto de la dirección de los vientos sobre la navegación; disminución de los tiempos de espera de los barcos y de las demoras de toda la Vía Navegable Troncal y el ahorro en la operatoria de buques, agencias marítimas y la navegación.
Un canal para un tráfico del 3%
Urgente24 consultó fuente de la Liga Naval Argentina acerca de los beneficios que presentó el Gobierno nacional sobre el canal y fueron tajantes en su respuesta: “Para la Marina Mercante Argentina, o para el comercio marítimo, no sirve para nada porque el 90% de la carga se carga en Buenos Aires o en la Hidrovía y va para el Norte o para Oriente. Entonces, le sigue sirviendo el canal Punta Indio, donde se ahorran horas de navegación”.
La traza en azul del Canal Punta Indio y la traza del canal Magdalena en rojo con los volúmenes anuales de sedimentación de cada tramo de canal, adoptando para el caso del nuevo canal la tasa de sedimentación anual del tramo del Canal Punta Indio que posee la misma dirección que tendrá el Magdalena, indicado en línea de trazos azul. Este tramo se ubica entre el Km 122 y el Codillo en el Km 143,9.
Entonces, ¿a quién le sirve el canal? Desde la Liga contestaron que solo sirve a los buques que van al Sur, pero se trata de “una mínima porción” del tráfico. “Los demás siguen operando con el canal Punta Indio, al que Argentina está obligado a seguir contribuyendo con su mantenimiento por el Tratado del Río de La Plata firmado con Uruguay. Por lo tanto, no será un ahorro sino que se deberá pagar dos mantenimientos de canal ”, agregaron.
Interés chino
Detrás de la licitación asoma el interés de China, pero desde la Liga Naval explicaron a este portal el siguiente caso: “si viene un buque de la China o desde los Estados Unidos y los obligás a pasar de largo (del Puerto de Buenos Aires), e ir al Sur para meterse en el canal Magdalena, son 7 ó 8 horas de navegación más. Eso significa más combustible y más costos. Ese costo se agrega al flete y lo va a terminar pagando el exportador argentino”.
“Es muy difícil decirle al mundo que tenemos otro canal que está más lejos pero que les conviene más ”, añadieron los expertos, aunque aclararon que “ el canal no es malo náuticamente. El problema es que es para una porción de tráfico, en el mejor de los casos, del 3%”.
Buques de GNL Vs cargueros
Otra de las razones que da el Gobierno para encarar la obra del canal Magdalena es por el arribo de buques gasíferos que traen el gas que el país suele necesitar para atender la demanda en invierno, sobre este caso desde la Liga Naval Argentina explicaron que estos buques “no vienen ni van al Sur. Para beneficiar al 3% del tráfico, se perjudica al 97% del tráfico. Por cada buque gasero vienen 20 buques cargueros”.

Entonces, ¿quiénes usan realmente el canal Magdalena? Según los especialistas serían los buques que salen parcialmente cargados, “por una cuestión de calado, sobre todo cuando el Paraná está bajando, y luego van a completar carga a Bahía Blanca. En ese casó sí el Magdalena sirve porque es una conexión directa. Y los buques que van al Sur se ahorran una hora de navegación. Pero son contados los casos”.
Luego, desde la Liga aclararon “otra falacia” del argumento del Gobierno y está relacionada a que hay que pedir permiso a Uruguay para navegar el Punta Indio: “Eso no es así porque es un canal binacional que los dos países mantienen y tienen libre navegación”.
Luego, también rechazaron la idea de que la Marina Mercante se pueda recuperar por el canal Magdalena: “La Marina Mercante, para que se recupere, depende de otras cosas. A nivel regional, que seamos competitivos respecto a Paraguay, Bolivia y Brasil, para empezar”.
Polo agroexportador y más falacias
Siguiendo con la explicación dada por la Liga a este medio, agregaron: “Todo lo que es el polo agroexportador con destino a puertos de Oriente, América del Norte o Europa, entran por el canal Punta Indio y después remontan el Paraná. El servicio de practicaje en todo el Río de la Plata es argentino, y los buques en ningún momento entran a Montevideo, excepto que tengan un problema técnico. Se fondea frente a Montevideo porque es la zona de fondeo. Y luego cuando se van, obviamente el canal Punta Indio les ahorra 8 o 9 horas de navegación respecto al Magdalena”.
“También ahí hay una falacia: no tributan al Uruguay. Acá te la venden como que los buques van a Montevideo y usan servicios de Montevideo. Los barcos fondean frente a Montevideo y sube el práctico que es argentino. El práctico puede subir desde el Pontón Recalada que es un barco viejo fondeado que tiene Prefectura y son prácticos argentinos o prácticos que van por tierra, hay muchos que usan ese sistema, y embarcan en una lancha uruguaya y entonces la empresa de practicaje -que es una empresa privada-, paga la lancha para llegar al barco, pero eso es parte del costo del practicaje que está dentro de los escenarios del práctico, que cobra lo mismo embarque de un lado o del otro porque al armador no le importa”, concluyeron.
