UNA REFLEXION DEL HNO LORENZO (1605-1691):
 
EN CUANTO A LO QUE ME PASA EN EL PRESENTE NO PUEDO EXPRESARLO. NO TENGO NINGUN DOLOR NI NINGUNA DIFICULTAD EN CUANTO A MI ESTADO, PORQUE NO HAGO MI VOLUNTAD SINO LA VOLUNTAD DE DIOS. LO CUAL ME ESFUERZO EN CUMPLIR EN TODAS LAS COSAS, Y A LA QUE ESTOY TAN RESIGNADO QUE NO LEVANTARIA NI UNA PAJA DEL SUELO SIN LA ORDEN DE EL, NI POR NINGUN OTRO MOTIVO SINO PURAMENTE POR EL AMOR HACIA EL.
