Hace 390 años, el 6 de septiembre de 1620, partió hacia Estados Unidos desde el puerto inglés de Playmouth el velero Mayflower. A bordo, 102 personas, entre ellas, una treintena de religiosos que intentaba escapar del anglicanismo, tal como nos recuerda Nieves Concostrina

El Barco partió del puerto de Plymouth en Inglaterra y completo un atravesía del Atlántico en unos 2 meses hasta finalmente atracar en Plymouth ( Massachusetts - En hoy Estados Unidos de América ) .

Siempfre he oido habla del dia de acción de gracias en Norteamerica pero nunca he sabido del origen del mismo, no te irás a la cama sin saber una cosa nueva.
