Nacida en Skopje, Yugoslavia (hoy Macedonia) en 1910 con el nombre de Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhui. Monja, de la Orden Hermanas de Nuestra Señora de Loreto en Irlanda. Ganadora del Premio Nobel de La Paz en 1.979. Fallece el 5 de septiembre de 1.997.
