Y dicen que sólo le falta hablar. Si con su limpia y profunda mirada
me muestra mucho más que una palabra
aunque algunos no sepan descifrar.
Jamás encontraré más fiel amigo
que en los peores momentos arrime
su cuerpo a mi alma abatida y anime
dándome el calor del mejor abrigo.
Vivaracho, revoltoso y valiente,
secreto confidente hasta mi entierro.
Tanta bondad y amor resulta hiriente.
A su sincera amistad yo me aferro
porque, cuanto más conozco a la gente
más agradecido estoy a mi perro.
