Un hombre que había cometido un homicidio era perseguido por los familiares de la víctima. Pero llegando a orillas de un río, tropezó con un lobo y, huyéndole, se subió a un árbol de la orilla; y cuando estaba allí subido miró una serpiente que trepaba hacia él, por lo que optó por echarse río, donde terminó en la boca de un cocodrilo. La naturaleza es enemiga de los malvados.
