Para el falso documental titulado Dark Side of the Moon, véase Operación Luna. The Dark Side of the Moon (en español: El lado oscuro de la luna) es un álbum conceptual y el octavo de estudio de la banda británica de rock progresivo Pink Floyd. Fue lanzado el 17 de marzo de 1973 en Estados Unidos y el 24 de marzo del mismo año en el Reino Unido. El álbum está construido a partir de las ideas que Pink Floyd había explorado en sus conciertos y anteriores grabaciones, pero carece de los largos instrumentales que caracterizaban a los trabajos posteriores a la marcha en 1968 de su miembro fundador, principal compositor y letrista, Syd Barrett.[9] La temática del álbum incluye el conflicto, la avaricia, el envejecimiento y la enfermedad mental, tema este último inspirado en parte por el deterioro mental de Barrett.[9]
El álbum se desarrolló como parte de una futura gira de la banda, estrenándose en directo varios meses antes de que siquiera hubieran comenzado las grabaciones en el estudio.[10] El nuevo material se fue refinando a medida que avanzaba la gira, y fue grabado en dos sesiones en 1972 y 1973 en los Abbey Road Studios de Londres.[11] Pink Floyd usó algunas de las técnicas de grabación más avanzadas de la época, incluyendo grabaciones multipista y loops.[12] En varias de las pistas se usaron sintetizadores analógicos, mientras que una serie de entrevistas con la banda y el equipo técnico aparecen a lo largo del álbum en forma de citas filosóficas. Alan Parsons fue el responsable de algunos de los aspectos sónicos más innovadores del álbum, incluyendo la interpretación no léxica de Clare Torry.
The Dark Side of the Moon fue un éxito inmediato, llegando en Estados Unidos a lo más alto de la lista Billboard 200 durante una semana.[13] Permaneció en las listas 803 semanas (más de 15 años), siendo así el álbum que más tiempo ha permanecido en listas de la historia.[14] Con una estimación de ventas de 50 millones de copias, es el álbum más exitoso de Pink Floyd y uno de los más vendidos a nivel mundial de la historia.[15] Ha sido remasterizado y reeditado en dos ocasiones, además de haber sido versionado por varias bandas. Del álbum se extrajeron dos sencillos: «Money» y «Us and Them». Además de su éxito comercial, podría decirse que The Dark Side of the Moon es el álbum más popular entre los seguidores y críticos,[2] y aparece frecuentemente en las listas de mejores álbumes de todos los tiempos.

So K-9 is a secret code. It means Canine=Dogstar=Sirius=Isis, and it also means 11-9.
This is a timecode, and as we saw in the previous post, a subtle signal can be sent by simply setting the hands of a clock or a watch to the 11 and 9 positions.
Another way to express the K-9 code as a timecode is as a date.
Depending on whether you use the American or European convention, 11-9 can read either as November 9 or September 11.
I'm going so far as to suggest that the very reason for the choice of September 11 as the date for the "9/11|"(!) event, is because of this simple secret Sirius timecode.
Again, with this crazy thought in mind, some insane things suddenly make excellent sense.

But this is one of the symbols for Sirius! The hieroglyph for Sirius comprised a star, a triangle and a half-circle:
Sirius was associated with the goddess Sopdet, who was yet another variant on the Goddess-of-Ten-Thousand-Names, Isis. And the glyph of Sopdet features the five-pointed star above her head.

So back to the Pentagon, the world's most famous building in the shape of a five-pointed star. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 11 1941, sixty years to the day before the 9/11 attacks. September 11 = 11/9 (European style) = K-9 = canine/Dogstar/Sirius/Isis.But what about that other date, November 9? In American, this is written as 11/9.November 9 is a fascinating date which has come up in several discussions here at LetsRoll. It was the day of the Great North-east Blackout, in 1965, which is extremely significant for the 9/11 story. It was also the day in 1967 when Paul MacCartney was said to have "died", in the Paul-Is-Dead mythology. The two pillars are present in the background.These photos are a perfect symbolic representation of the twin rituals, which are really one single ritual, the Diana event and 9/11. It was taken on November 9, or 11/9, or 9/11. It shows Princess Diana, the ritual sacrificial victim of the first ritual, on her first day in the country of the second ritual. She is dancing with man who more than anyone else in those days embodied the archetype of New York City, John Travolta.  Michael Jackson's album was released May 20, 1997, just over 100 days before the Diana event of August 31 1997. This album cover is a blatant revelation of the hidden method. Jackson has made his own version of the iconic Diana-Travolta photograph. It's all there. The chequerboard floor, check. New York skyline in the background, obscured by the dust clouds of the collapse of the Twin Towers. Michael dancing, and with his arms in the familiar 11-9 pattern. All of these things have been much commented on around the internet, but up until now, the exact decoding has been elusive. But now we know. This is the girl. It's all about Isis. It's all about Sirius/Dostar/Canine/K-9/11-9/9-11.Michael Jackson is up to his ears in this one, and again, for those who are new to this thread, it might seem like we have exceeded ourselves in insanity, but it's all here, here, here and here. His daughter is named Paris. He was very likely staying only 300 metres away from the crash site when the accident happened in the tunnel. He phoned his promoter to cancel that evening's concert, saying he was in mourning, at 4am which was the time when the doctors pronounced Diana dead, and nearly two hours before it was announced to the world. His album release dates co-incide frequently with the hot dates of this story, and his videos are full of unmistakable references to what we have uncovered here.
Let's round out this thread with an anecdote about the Carlyle Hotel, New York's preferred accomodation for the rich-and-famous.

Biología Animal: el ojo de los gatos
A diferencia de los humanos, los felinos y más precisamente los gatos domésticos cuentan con ojos que pueden ver casi en lo que nosotros percibimos como plena oscuridad. Cómo ven los gatos y algunas preguntas más serán respondidas hoy en OjoCientífico.
Gatos y humanos
Es verdad que los gatos pueden ver mejor durante la noche que los humanos, pero sucede totalmente por el contrario durante las horas de sol.
Esta cualidad de poder ver mejor en la oscuridad es compartida por varios animales entre ellos los perros. Esto se debe a que estos animales cuentan con un tapetum lucidum, esto es un tejido que se ubica en la parte posterior de los ojos de los animales.
El tapetum lucidum hace que el ojo absorba mucha más luz antes de llegar a la retina. De esta manera con menos luz ellos pueden ver mejor porque igualmente más luz está entrando en su retina.
Por otra parte como dijimos estos cuentan con peor visión durante el día, teniendo así un umbral de detección de luz siete veces menor que las personas, el tapetum lucidum también es el culpable de esto ya que por permitir mayor iluminación debe limitar la calidad de la visión durante períodos de mucha luz.
Visión
Durante las horas de luz el gato cierra constantemente su iris de esta manera consigue una mejor y más fina profundidad de campo.
Con profundidad de campo nos referimos al espectro nítido de visión. Si ustedes ponen un dedo al frente suyo podrán ver que pueden enfocar su vista hacia el dedo o hacia el fondo, eso es controlar la profundidad de campo de la vista.
Los gatos son animales depredadores, por esta razón al igual que el resto de los depredadores estos cuentan con los ojos al frente de la cabeza. De esta manera pierden un amplio espectro de visión hacia los lados, pero ganan visión en profundidad, para así poder cazar mejor.
Los felinos cuentan con una banda central dentro del ojo llamada raya visual. Gracias a esta raya estos pueden distinguir cierta cantidad de colores, pero no todos.
Entre los colores que pueden distinguir encontramos:
- tonos verdosos
- azul
- celeste
Sin embargo se cree que no pueden ver los colores con mucha definición, y solamente pueden percibirlos a corta distancia.
Otra característica de la visión gatuna es su amplitud de vista. Estos cuentan con una amplitud visual de unos 200º (grados). Por otro lado los humanos contamos con un rango aproximado de 180º. Aunque esto no parezca mucho, lo es.
La membrana nictitante es un párpado extra con el que cuentan algunos animales incluyendo los gatos. Este párpado extra sirve como protección, tanto para bacterias como para posibles amenazas mayores.
