Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for a used car in Dubai and almost got scammed by a suspicious ad last week. Luckily, I noticed the details didn’t add up before sending money. It really got me thinking—there must be a safer way to browse cars without worrying about fake sellers. Do you guys know if there are platforms that actually check the listings or separate verified cars from the rest? I’d rather spend a bit more time upfront than risk getting cheated.

Yikes, glad you caught that before it was too late. I’ve also run into sketchy ads in the past, and that’s why I now stick to trusted sources. One section I personally recommend is this: https://auto.ae/sale/vrp/?page=1 — it’s where they list verified and premium cars only. Way fewer risks compared to random classifieds. When I was searching, it gave me peace of mind because I knew the listings weren’t just thrown online by anyone. I found my Hyundai Tucson there and had zero issues.
