Egyptian Dated Papyri

The papyrus above (

AP 13
) is dated using the Egyptian calendar. The date is after the Jewish New Year of Tishri 1 but before the Egyptian New Year of Thoth 1. To align this interpretable papyrus to the 7 non-interpretable papyri means that the Scribe used the Egyptian calendar to date the year of Artaxerxes' reign.

 

This papyrus is scientifically dated to November 18, 446 BC. This papyrus was written in the 19th year of King Artaxerxes' reign based on the Egyptian calendar. If this papyrus were dated using the Hebrew calendar, it would have been the 20th year of King Artaxerxes' reign. This papyrus is important since it was written four months before Artaxerxes issued the decree to Nehemiah. It is also written the day after the events recorded in Nehemiah 1:1. This papyrus also supports that the date for Nisan 1 in 445 BC should be Sunday, March 16, 445 BC. This will be discussed in detail later.

) is dated using the Egyptian calendar. The date is after the Jewish New Year of Tishri 1 but before the Egyptian New Year of Thoth 1. To align this interpretable papyrus to the non-interpretable papyri means that the Scribe used the Egyptian calendar to date the year of Artaxerxes' reign.

 

The papyrus is scientifically dated to October 30, 434 BC. This papyrus was written in the 31st year of King Artaxerxes' reign based on the Egyptian calendar. If this papyrus were dated using the Hebrew calendar, it would have been the 32nd year of King Artaxerxes' reign.

By using Methods 1 and 2 as noted above, there are no Scribal errors detected in the papyri. The Cairo Sandstone Stele has one Scribal error, which is easily corrected based on the non-interpretable papyri. The chronology appears to be exactly what happened in the 5th century BC era of King Artaxerxes. A total of 11 papyri permit us to create a Chronological Calendar for King Artaxerxes' reign as shown on the referenced page.

Evidence that Supports Jesus' Crucifixion Occurred on April 11, AD 32
Based on the Elephantine Papyri

 

Supporting Evidence

 

Sir Robert Anderson provided a good foundation that pointed to the crucifixion occurring on April 11, AD 32. His viewpoint was originally given in the book, "The Coming Prince" that was published about 1884. Sir Robert Anderson did not have the Elephantine papyri to use in his research. However, an in-depth study of the Elephantine papyri provides evidence that supports Sir Robert Anderson's viewpoint. And it is important to note that this is true despite recent problems found with Sir Robert Anderson's original work.

Sir Robert Anderson's viewpoint recently was found to be faulty due to missing 3 full days. According to Anderson's calculations, the decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem as recorded in Nehemiah 2:1-6 came from King Artaxerxes on Nisan 1, which was thought to have occurred on Friday, March 14, 445 BC. By adding 173,880 days to this date, we are taken forward in time to April 6, AD 32, which is thought to be the date on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem with crowds proclaiming him to be the Messiah. (The 173,880 days are based on Daniel's prophecy that foretells of a period of 69 cycles of 7 years. When the time frame of 360 days per year are used, the value evolved comes from attaining the number of days by multiplying 69 x 7 x 360 = 173,880 days). To resolve the issue of the 3 missing days, the solution would be to simply move the date for Nisan 1 forward to Sunday, March 16, 445 BC. By doing this, the 173,880 days fit perfectly to April 6, AD 32.

But is it realistic to move the date for Nisan 1 forward to Sunday, March 16, 445 BC?

The Elephantine papyrus dated November 18, 446 BC gives supporting evidence that the decree issued by King Artaxerxes to restore and rebuild Jerusalem most likely did occur on March 16, 445 BC. In addition, the book of Nehemiah offers more evidence that the decree would have occurred on Sunday (not on the Sabbath).

Now consider the scientifically dated papyrus dated to November 18, 446 BC. This date happens to be Kislev 2 in the Hebrew calendar. By adding the appointed days of each month, the earliest date for Nisan 1 would be Saturday, March 15, 445 BC, at 6:00 PM. Based on this logic, it is very probable that Nisan 1 began at Sundown on Saturday, March 15 and came to an end at 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 445 BC. Below are the days listed for each month that supports this conclusion.

Why use Kislev 30?

Too early in the solar year means there would have been a natural tendency to add days to the end of a month or even to add a leap month. The earliest date for Nisan 1 based on scientifically dating the Elephantine papyri would have been February 27, in the year 460 BC. So adding a leap month was not a necessity for the year 446 to 445 BC.

 

 


 

The logical conclusion from the papyrus supports that the decree from King Artaxerxes occurred on Sunday, March 16, 445 BC. Biblical evidence that would support this conclusion comes from the book of Nehemiah. It is certain that Nehemiah would not have done work for King Artaxerxes on the Sabbath (Saturday) based on Nehemiah 13:15-22, which reads as follows:

Based on how Nehemiah lived his life, he would not have showed up for work on Saturday, the Sabbath.

The scientifically dated papyrus of November 11, 446 BC, supports that Nisan 1 occurred on Sunday, March 16, 445 BC. King Artaxerxes issued the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem to Nehemiah on a Sunday. (Even if the date is moved back 24 hours earlier, it is unlikely that Nehemiah stood before King Artaxerxes on a Saturday as the cupbearer. The Persian kings honored Jewish beliefs as supported by the book of Esther. The final events written in the book of Esther occurred about in February to March, 473 BC. King Artaxerxes would have been very familiar with the story of Esther).

 

Since the beginning of Sir Robert Anderson's work is based on solid evidence, let's move forward to the year of the crucifixion. Did the crucifixion of Jesus Christ actually occur on Friday, April 11, AD 32?

Didn't your forefathers do the same things, so that our God brought all this calamity upon us and upon this city? Now you are stirring up more wrath against Israel by desecrating the Sabbath.

When evening shadows fell on the gates of Jerusalem before the Sabbath, I ordered the doors to be shut and not opened until the Sabbath was over. I stationed some of my own men at the gates so that no load could be brought in on the Sabbath day. Once or twice the merchants and sellers of all kinds of goods spent the night outside Jerusalem. But I warned them and said, "Why do you spend the night by the wall? If you do this again, I will lay hands on you." From that time on they no longer came on the Sabbath. Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy

More Evidence that Supports Jesus' Crucifixion Occurred on April 11, AD 32
Based on the Elephantine Papyri

 

Problems Identified with the Year AD 32

 

The most difficult problem with the year AD 32 is the fact that the full moon occurs on Monday, April 14, AD 32. This means that the crucifixion occurred three days before the full moon. How can this be resolved?

To begin, we must answer the question, "Is it even possible that a the calendar could be off by 3 days"

An in-depth study of the Elephantine papyri provides evidence that makes this a definite possibility. In addition, there were cultural issues between the Pharisees and the Sadduccees at the time that Jesus lived. It is certain that there was more than one calendar being used. The cultural issues that produced conflicting calendars between the Pharisees and the Sadduccees is an important item to be considered.

Let's begin with the Elephantine papyri. By scientifically dating all the papyri, some interesting facts are extracted as to how the Hebrews used their calendar. And it is certain that it is very possible for a calendar to be off by 3 full days. Consider the following facts from the Elephantine papyri

  1. The scientifically dated Cairo Sandstone Stele dated May 15, 459 BC supports that Sivan 1 occurred two full days BEFORE the new moon. Below is a histogram of data from the Elephantine papyri and Cairo Sandstone Stele that show the hours between the new moon and the 1st day of the month. Notice that the new moon occurred 48 hours before the 1st day of the month. The data below is similar to what would have occurred in the year AD 32.

     

  2. By statistically analyzing all the scientifically dated papyrus, it is very feasible that a calendar month could precede the new moon by three full days. It must be admitted that it would be a rare event. But it is not impossible as most people have assumed. The probability of a calendric month being three full days before the actual new moon is approximately 2.5%. Some people may not accept this low probability. But the point being made is that it is not impossible.

Cultural Issues Between the Sadduccees and the Pharisees
that Support the Crucifixion Occurred in AD 32
 

 

 

The Pharisees and the Sadduccees did not appreciate each other that well. In fact, we know that they used different calendars to observe specific biblical holidays. For example, the observance of the Feast of Seven Weeks (Pentecost) was defined by the Sadduccees as occurring only on a Sunday, 50 days after the Feast of First Fruits (a literal interpretation of Leviticus 23). However, the Pharisees defined the Feast of Seven Weeks as only occurring on Sivan 6 (a literal interpretation of Exodus 19). This means that the Pharisees and the Sadduccees did not observe the Feast of Weeks on the same day. Could this also be true of the Passover?

It is a known fact that in the gospel of John, the Sadduccees observed the Passover on Friday evening (Sabbath began at Sundown). This means that Nisan 15 occurred on Saturday. If this is true, then the calendar was off by 2-days in the year AD 32. In support of this view, this scenario aligns with the Cairo Sandstone Stele data as noted in the graph above. (In general, the gospel of John is viewed as a theological treatise that shows Jesus as the Son of God, dying on Nisan 14, the same day on which the lamb was slain when Moses led the Jewish people out of Egypt)

In contrast with the gospel of John, the synoptic gospels have the disciples along with the Pharisees observing the Passover on Thursday evening. Jesus ate the Passover and was crucified on Friday, Nisan 15. If this is true, then the calendar was off by 3-days in the year AD 32. (In general, the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke are viewed as the historic date of the crucifixion. Jesus died on Nisan 15, the same day on which the Egyptians died. This means that Jesus died in the place of the Egyptians, who are symbolic of sinners. )

However, there is another possibility. Both of the scenarios above represent the historic reality due to the Pharisees and Sadduccees not accepting one another. It is possible that the Sadduccees, who controlled the temple, observed the Passover on Saturday, Nisan 15. Since the Pharisees did not get along well with the Sadduccees, they observed the Passover one day earlier, regardless of the position of the moon. If this is true, the calendar was off by 2-days. And this also serves to explain why the gospel of John is different in its dating as compared to the synoptic gospels. Finally, this scenario is very viable based on scientific dating the Elephantine papyri and Cairo Sandstone Stele in the chart above.

 

Other Interesting Facts for Chronologists
that Support the Crucifixion Occurred in AD 32

 

I have listed some other interesting facts about chronology in the 5th century BC based on scientifically dating the Elephantine papyri. This may be of interest only to history students or theological students. But these facts support that the crucifixion occurred in the year AD 32.

  1. Astronomical evidence based on the 5th century BC papyri from Elephantine, Egypt support that the earliest Passover occurred about March 11 in the 5th century BC. This is based on the scientifically dated papyrus on November 11, 460 BC. By counting nine months back, Nisan 1 would have occurred on either February 27 or 28, 460 BC.

     

  2. The latest date possible for Nisan 1 would have been April 23. This is based on the papyrus dated January 2, 464 BC. Since the date is Kislev 18, counting back nine months yields the late April date for Nisan 1. The Passover would have occurred in early May.

     

  3. In the modern Hebrew calendar, a total of 7 leaps months are added to the calendar in a 19-year cycle. So a leap month is inserted in either a 2-year or 3-year cycle to keep the lunar-solar and solar calendars in reasonable correlation as possible. (For example: If the lunar solar calendar had moved the month Nisan forward to June-July, then farmers would not use the calendar because it would be well off from its normal time of March-April).

You will find that it was only in the 7th year that Jewish New Year (Tishri 1) jumped forward from August 24, 460 BC to September 12, 459 BC.

     

    Based on the previous three items, the stability of the Hebrew calendar and the Persian calendar wandered as much as 2-full months relative to the position of the sun. Affixing a standard calculation method to the Hebrew and Persian calendars in ancient history cannot be done since it is apparent that their calendric system was under not well understood. The Hebrew calendar and the Persian calendars were very unstable in the 5th century BC. The modern day Hebrew calendar used today (with calculated dates) did not come into use until eight centuries later (about the year AD 360). Due to the fact that the Hebrew calendar was not very stable in ancient history, it is highly probable that the crucifixion of Jesus could be off by three full days. The crucifixion date on April 11, AD 32 is highly probable based on scientific dating all the Elephantine papyri.

    In contrast with the instability of the Hebrew calendar and the Persian calendars, the Egyptian calendar was very stable. It was calculated calendar that was used until Medieval times. It appears that the astronomical knowledge of the Egyptians was superior to the Persians.

    Concerning AD 32 as the crucifixion date: Most theologians and history students select either the year AD 30 or 33 as the year of the crucifixion. Some select the year AD 31. Click here to get insight as to why these selections are not valid as many have assumed.

Solar Eclipses in Biblical Events

Do the Scriptures Relate End Times to Signs in the Heavens
Such as Solar Eclipses, Lunar Eclipses, Comets, Extremely Bright Stars ...

 

To answer such a question, consider the recorded events when Jesus was on earth the first time.

"After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his STAR IN THE EAST and have come to worship him" (Matthew 2:1-2).

If this were a natural event, it could very well have come from a large exploding star, most often referred to as a supernova.

Based on the gospel stories, Jesus referred to heavenly signs and related them to his return to earth.

"Immediately after the distress of those days " `the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. " (Matthew 24:29-30).

The scripture above seems to portend of an unprecedented heavenly event that occurs on the day that Christ actually returns. But the gospel of Luke seems to give more down to earth signs that all of us can relate to. Especially the events of 9-11-2001 and the use of the words, "fearful events".

"There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and GREAT SIGNS FROM HEAVEN" (Luke 21:11).

So what is a Great Sign from Heaven?

Could the alignment of the 14,000 days to the feast of Trumpets as well as being accompanied by a solar eclipse be a great sign from heaven?

Now consider some interesting words from the Prophet Amos.

"In that day," declares the Sovereign LORD, "I WILL MAKE THE SUN GO DOWN AT NOON AND DARKEN THE EARTH IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. I will turn your religious feasts into mourning and all your singing into weeping. I will make all of you wear sackcloth and shave your heads. I will make that time like mourning for an only son and the end of it like a bitter day. " (Amos 8:9-10).

When Jesus died on the cross, the gospel stories reveal that the day became like night. It was not possible for a solar eclipse since it was the Passover. Such an event could only be explained as a supernatural event. But at the same time, the Passover is a feast day. There is a natural link between the Feast of Passover and the day that Messiah died.

When Jesus comes again, it is believed that the pattern of the biblical feasts will continue. The springtime feasts were prophetic of New Testament events surrounding the life of Jesus at his first coming. It is believed that the autumn feasts are prophetic of when Christ comes again. There are three biblical feasts in the autumn that portend a sequence of supernatural events. The Feast of Trumpets is the Jewish New Year. In the Old Testament, these prophetic verses are found in Leviticus 23. The Feast of Trumpets is often referred to as the feast of the seventh month.

The words written by the Prophet Amos can most certainly be related to the day of Jesus' crucifixion. Could the words also refer to the return of Christ? Consider the next paragraph written in the book of Amos.

"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land-- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it" (Amos 8:11-12).

Could it be that these words foretell of a day when the people of God will be taken away? A time in which those who taught the Bible will be gone? Was the prophet Amos writing words that would be fulfilled in our time? Consider the next paragraph written by Amos.

"In that day "the lovely young women and strong young men will faint because of thirst. They who swear by the shame of Samaria (false beliefs and practices held by the non-believing world), or say, `As surely as your god lives, O Dan,' or, `As surely as the god of Beersheba (false beliefs) lives'-- they will fall, never to rise again." " (Amos 8:13-14).

The ultimate purpose of the return of Christ will witness the complete collapse of false teachings and practices concerning the Creator. According to the book of Revelation, a very large number of people will become Christians during the foretold time of trouble.

Consider that at the time that Moses lead the Jewish people out of Egypt, the false gods of the Egyptians were confronted. The Egyptians deities fell flat on their faces. And it is just as certain that God will confront the false teachings of the modern world. This has already begun to happen based on fulfilled prophecy in the 20th and 21st centuries. Consider the following prophetic events and how they bring to question the theological views of Islam.

The week that Jesus was crucified, he foretold the future of the Jewish people. Jesus said the Jewish people would be dispersed worldwide. And Jesus' foretold that the Jewish people would someday return to their homeland to gain political control of Jerusalem again. This biblical prophecy came true on June 7, 1967. It is the beginning day of the 14,000 days in modern history. The return of the Jewish people to their homeland confronts the very heart of Islamic teachings. Consider the following two beliefs held by the Islamic faith.

  1. The Qu'ran as given through Muhammad teaches its followers to hate the Jewish people.

     

  2. Islam teaches that it will conquer the entire world. According to the Qur'an, the entire world is destined to become Muslims. So when an area of the world changes from being Muslim controlled to non-Muslim, the very heart of Islam is in question. The return of the Jewish people to take control of their ancient homeland confronts the teachings of Islam.

Jesus foretold that the Jewish people would return to govern Jerusalem again. The foretold event was fulfilled on June 7, 1967. Could this event mean that the God of the Bible is indeed confronting the view of the Qur'an as well as Allah, who Muslims believe to be God? At the end of the tribulation, the world will be completely transformed. Islam will no longer be around to spread its message of human self-righteousness and hate for the Jewish people. Instead, the prophet Isaiah foretells that the false gods of this world will be put aside. The Arab people and the Jewish people will lay down their weapons of war to live in peace. Consider the words written by the prophet Isaiah.

"In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the LORD Almighty raises against them. And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified, because of what the LORD Almighty is planning against them. . . .

The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance " (Isaiah 19:16-17, 22-25).

  • The Jewish New Year is called Rosh Hashanah. In the Bible, this day is called the Feast of Trumpets. On this feast day, the Jewish people go to their synagogues to listen to a sermon that is accompanied with trumpet blasts. The Feast of Trumpets is based on the number seven and is found in the book of Leviticus.

    "The LORD said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites: `On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts" (Leviticus 23:22-23).

    The Hebrew word means to blow trumpets and includes the idea of shouting. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul refers to a day on which the dead in Christ will rise from the dead and all true believers will join them. This day is associated with the blowing of trumpets and the voice (shout) of the Archangel. Consider the verse.

    "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. " (1 Thess. 4:16-18).

     

  • The culmination of the 14,000 day theory is October 4, 2005. According to this theory, 14,000 days are hidden inside the "time-oriented" 70 weeks prophecy found in Daniel 9 (given to Daniel from the Archangel Gabriel). Daniel foretold that the Messiah would be killed as a sacrificial offering followed by the destruction of both the temple and Jerusalem, which did occur in AD 70.       2. Another possibility is that the rapture will not occur until the antichrist personality is revealed based on 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 in combination with Revelation 13:1-3. It is appropriate to ask, "When will the antichrist personality be revealed?"

Ok. La "Puerta del Hombre" sería la constelación de Orión (que tiene la forma esquemática de una figura humana) y la fecha es el 20 de junio (solsticio). 





Y la "Puerta de Dios" sería el centro de la Galaxia (el Dios Hunab-ku de los Maya) que desde la Tierra se ve entre Sagitario, Ofiuco y Escorpio (cuya estrella más brillante es Antares) y el Sol pasa por encima cada 19 de junio.

Astronomical Dating the Crucifixion

I have derived three "time-oriented" models from the Bible using astronomy to pinpoint the day Jesus died. Let's summarize the three models by stating the crucifixion occurred:

  1. On Friday
  2. In the years AD 31, 32 or 33
  3. A full moon must occur between 24 to 72 hours after the crucifixion (i.e. on Saturday, Sunday or Monday).

Models (A) and (C) above are critical to fixing the exact date of the crucifixion with astronomical data. Both models require that we find a lunar alignment with the full moon occurring on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

Since Daniel's time line points to AD 32, I will begin by depicting AD 32 as follows:

Viewing the graph above, we see a darkened circle on the right side in the Monday column depicting the full moon. The full moon occurred on Monday, April 14, at 12:06 p.m., which is shown in the far right column. Crosses appear before the full moon by 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours.

Friday's column has a cross. Months and years with a cross in the Friday column are viable choices for the crucifixion. Of course, months and years without a cross in the Friday column are eliminated as crucifixion candidates. I have shaded the Friday column to enhance the Friday requirement.

The year AD 32 meets all the conditions above. Jesus died on a Friday in either AD 31, 32, or 33. The full moon occurred on Monday, three days after the crucifixion.
 

Astronomical Data

Passover, in the first century, almost always occurred from March 15 to April 21. However, considering all possible options, I will analyze lunar cycles from March 1 through May 1. The following tables present lunar cycles for the years AD 29 through 34.

Viewing the graph for AD 29, a cross appears in the Friday column showing one possible date for the crucifixion on April 15. In this case, the full moon occurred on Sunday, April 17, two days after Friday. Yet, AD 29 is not a good choice for the year of the crucifixion based on the historic setting in the gospels of Luke and John (AD 31 to 33).

Since there are no crosses in the Friday column above, AD 30 is not a viable year for the crucifixion.

Roman Catholics generally select April 7, AD 30, as the date of the crucifixion based on the scholarly assumption that Jesus died on a Friday with a full moon. Yet, AD 30 does not match any of the criteria. Jesus had to die on a Friday with a full moon occurring on either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Moreover, AD 30 does not match the historic setting found in Luke and John for the years AD 31, 32, or 33.

Since there are no crosses in the Friday column above, AD 31 is not a viable year for the crucifixion. The year AD 31 does fit the historic setting found in Luke and John (AD 31, 32, or 33). However, AD 31 does not match a Friday crucifixion date with a full moon on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

Two lunar dates for the crucifixion emerge for the year AD 32. A full moon occurred on Saturday, March 15. The crucifixion would have been too early in the springtime on Friday, March 14. The second choice of April 11 meets all the criteria.

Viewing the graph for AD 33, the only possible choice, though not a good one, is for May 1. The full moon occurred on Sunday, May 3. May 1 is a poor choice because it is very late in the spring.

Many theologians and church historians have picked the April 3 date because a full moon occurred on Friday. Early April is the perfect setting for the Passover. Yet, there is no cross in the Friday column with a full moon alignment on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

Astronomy shows that a lunar eclipse occurred on Friday, April 3. However, a lunar eclipse offers no viable scenario for the crucifixion on April 3 since the sun had to be darkened, not the moon.

Again, since there are no crosses in the Friday column above, AD 34 is not a viable year for the crucifixion.
 

Summary of Lunar Data

Astronomical analysis shows there are four possible lunar dates for the crucifixion. Two of these dates, March 14, AD 32 and May 1, AD 33, fall outside the March 15 to April 21 limits for the Passover in the first century. Eliminating these two dates leaves only two possible lunar dates for the crucifixion as follows:

The first candidate in AD 29 does not fit the historic setting found in Luke and John (AD 31, 32, or 33). Only the AD 32 date survives. Astronomy supports Daniel's prophecy with impressive accuracy, showing divine revelation.

LA FECHA GREGORIANA segun mi criterio mas probable en que nuestro Señor fue crucificado, en el contexto a que el verdadero calendario hebreo es con LUNA NUEVA/ROSH JODESH EN LUNA LLENA, en el contexto a que la LUNA LLENA EN EL AÑO 33 fue en MARZO 5, seria el 18 de Marzo /14 de Nissan y su RESURRECCION habria sido el 22/3 o 22 de Marzo del AÑO 33. ¿ESTA EL MISTERIO DEL NUMERO 322 RESUELTO? Vamos a seguir estudiando si es viable esta posibilidad. Tenga en cuenta que el 22/3/33 fue LUNA CRECIENTE.

Newton's Date For The Crucifixion

Schaefer (1990) and other modern researchers are apparently not aware that Sir Isaac Newton (1733) was the first to derive a date for the crucifixion of Christ by calculating when the crescent of the new moon was first visible in order to correlate the Judean and Julian calendars. Fotheringham (1934) claimed to have been the first to have investigated thin crescent visibility (1910a), and to have thus dated the crucifixion (1910b). Apparently no one has questioned his claim, but Newton obtained similar results two centuries earlier.

Sir Isaac Newton

Researchers from Newton to Schaefer have essentially agreed on dates of lunar visibility, but not on the resultant crucifixion date. The two most accepted dates are Friday, AD 30 April 7, and Friday AD 33 April 3. It has been known that Newton preferred Friday, AD 34 April 23, but his reasons apparently have been forgotten. Schaefer notes the date without comment, while Humphreys & Waddington (1983) and Humphries (1989) suggest that Newton's "chief reason seems to have been that 23 April is St. George's Day." On the contrary, Newton reconstructed the Judean calendar just as they did.

Newton began by dating the baptism of Christ in AD 29 during the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar (Luke 3:1, 21). He then cited evidence for a total of five (rather than four) passovers during the ministry, implying an AD 34 crucifixion. Then Newton did the calendrical analysis almost exactly as has been done since: determining in which years the crucifixion day, 14 Nisan on the Judean calendar, could have been a Friday (John 19:14, 42). He stated that the Jews deemed the crescent visible "about 18 h after the true conjunction," which is optimistic even near the spring equinox. Using that rule to determine the first day of Nisan, he calculated the day of the week for 14 Nisan for the years AD 31-36. He thus excluded AD 31, 32 and 35 because 14 Nisan could not have been a Friday, which has been confirmed by all modern researchers. After next excluding AD 35 and 36 on historical grounds, he had narrowed the field to AD 33 April 3 andAD 34 April 23. He then found a final argument for AD 34 in the ripeness of the corn at passover, based on Luke 6:1 referring to the last day of passover two yrs prior to the crucifixion.

Thus, Newton first narrowed the possible years down to AD 33 and AD 34; had he preferred AD 33, his reasoning would probably have been researched sooner because that date now appears to be correct. The AD 34 choice has few supporters; it conflicts with the date of Paul's conversion, which Newton had apparently not considered, and arguments for a fifth passover and those based on the ripeness of the corn are not compelling. Moreover, Newton's choice of Friday, AD 34 April 23, rather than Thursday, AD 34 April 22, depended on invoking a postponement rule from the modern Hebrew calendar which Zeitlin (1966) has effectively argued was not used at that time. However, although Newton's arguments for AD 34 have not passed the test of time, the basis for his second choice of AD 33 is still sound.

Since Newton, scholarly opinion has favoured AD 30 and is only recently returning to the AD 33 date. The principal reason for having preferred AD 30 was that Christ was supposedly born about 6 BC, before the death of Herod in 4 BC, which favors AD 30 because Christ allegedly lived about 33 years. To support this theory, it was conjectured that Luke reckoned the fifteenth year of Tiberius in the AD 26-28 period, rather than AD 29. Currently, that theory is being challenged for several reasons. The strongest is what Newton implied: Roman history indicates AD 29 was Tiberius' fifteenth year and no substantial evidence to the contrary has surfaced. Moreover, Maier (1968) has pointed out that Pilate's capitulation when accused of not being "Caesar's friend" (John 19:12), and his desire to appease Herod Antipas (Luke 23:12) require the crucifixion to have been after the death of Sejanus in AD 31. Humphreys & Waddington (1983) have suggested that reports that "the Moon appeared like blood" at the crucifixion probably referred to the lunar eclipse on 3 April AD 33, and Humphreys (1990) has refuted Schaefer's conclusion that the eclipse could not have been seen from Jerusalem. Finally, evidence is mounting that Herod died later than 4 BC, perhaps as late as AD 1 (Pratt, 1990).

Newton almost certainly would have been aware of the 4 BC death date for Herod. Barr (1985) has noted that the belief that Herod died in 4 BC was widely known after Scaliger's work appeared in 1583, that Bishop Ussher's date for the creation in 4004 BC was calculated as exactly 4,000 years before that date, and that his chronology was printed in Bibles after 1701. Newton, however, did not base his date for the crucifixion on any traditions about the birth of Christ or the length of his life. After he reviewed several opinions about the date of Christ's birth, he concluded that "there is no tradition worth considering" and then went on to deduce the crucifixion date.

Because of the difficulty of obtaining Newton's original work, the calendrical portion is included here (italics and capitalization are his):

I take it for granted that the passion was on friday the 14th day of the month Nisan, the great feast of the Passover on saturday the 15th day of Nisan, and the resurrection on the day following. Now the 14th day of Nisan always fell on the full moon next after the vernal Equinox; and the month began at the new moon before, not at the true conjunction, but at the first appearance of the new moon; for the Jews referred all the time of the silent moon, as they phrased it, that is, of the moon's disappearing, to the old moon; and because the first appearance might usually be about 18 h after the true conjunction, they therefore began their month from the sixth hour at evening, that is, at sun set, next after the eighteenth hour from the conjunction. And this rule they called Jah, designing by the letters and the number 18.

 

 

I know that Epiphanius tells us, if some interpret his words rightly, that the Jews used a vicious cycle, and thereby anticipated the legal new moons by two days. But this surely he spake not as a witness, for he neither understood Astronomy nor Rabbinical learning, but as arguing from his erroneous hypothesis about the time of the passion. For the Jews did not anticipate, but postpone their months: they thought it lawful to begin their months a day later than the first appearance of the new moon, because the new moon continued for more days than one; but not a day sooner, lest they should celebrate the new moon before there was any. And the Jews still keep a tradition in their books, that the Sanhedrim used diligently to define the new moons by sight: sending witnesses into mountainous places, and examining them about the moon's appearing, and translating the new moon from the day they had agreed on to the day before, as often as witnesses came from distant regions, who had seen it a day sooner than it was seen at Jerusalem....

 

 

Computing therefore the new moons of the first month according to the course of the moon and the rule Jah, and thence counting 14 days, I find that the 14th day of this month in the year of Christ 31, fell on tuesday March 27; in the year 32, on sunday Apr. 13; in the year 33, on friday Apr. 3; in the year 34, on wednesday March 24, or rather, for avoiding the Equinox which fell on the same day, and for having a fitter time for harvest, on thursday Apr. 22, also in the year 35, on tuesday Apr. 12, and in the year 36, on saturday March 31.

 

 

But because the 15th and 21st days of Nisan, and a day or two of Pentecost, and the 10th, 15th, and 22nd of Tisri, were always sabbatical days or days of rest, and it was inconvenient on two sabbaths together to be prohibited burying their dead and making ready fresh meat, for in that hot region their meat would be apt in two days to corrupt: to avoid these and such like inconveniences, the Jews postponed their months a day, as often as the first day of the month Tisri, or which is all one, the third of the month Nisan was sunday, wednesday, or friday: and this rule they called Adu, by the letters aleph, daleth, waw, signifying the numbers 1, 4, 6, that is, the 1st, 4th, and 6th days of the week, which days we call sunday, wednesday, and friday. Postponing therefore by this rule the months found above; the 14th day of the month Nisan will fall in the year of Christ 31 on wednesday March 28; in the year 32 on monday Apr. 14; in the year 33 on friday Apr. 3; in the year 34, on friday Apr. 23; in the year 35, on wednesday Apr. 13; and in the year 36, on saturday March 31.

 

 

By this computation therefore the year 32 is absolutely excluded, because the Passion cannot fall on friday without making it five days after the full moon, or two days before it; whereas it ought to be upon the day of the full moon, or the next day. For the same reasons the years 31 and 35 are excluded, because in them the Passion cannot fall on friday, without making it three days after the full moon or four days before it: errors so enormous, that they would be very conspicuous in the heavens even to the vulgar eye. The year 36 is contended for by few or none, and both this and the year 35 may be thus excluded....

 

 

Thus there remain only the years 33 and 34 to be considered; and the year 33 I exclude by this argument. In the Passover two years before the Passion, then Christ went thro' the corn, and his disciples pluckt the ears, and rubbed them with their hands to eat; this ripeness of the corn shews that the Passover then fell late: and so did the Passover AC 32, April 14, but the Passover AC 31, March 28th, fell very early. It was not therefore two years after the year 31, but two years after 32 that Christ suffered.

 

 

Thus all the characters of the Passion agree to the year 34; and that is the only year to which they all agree.

 

In conclusion, much of Newton's derivation of the crucifixion date is not only still sound, it was based on reconstructing the Judean calendar, which is the modern technique. It was only in Newton's final step of preferring AD 34 over AD 33 that he no longer appears to be correct.

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: The subject of Jesus' crucifixion, particularly the date, is a sore one for some Christians, especially those of the Protestant Fundamentalist persuasion. The precise year of his crucifixion has been debated by scholars for centuries. Within the last 100 years, some groups have even called into question the day of his crucifixion, with a few groups insisting on Wednesday being the day of the event. If we go by the 'Bible Alone' without ever taking outside sources into consideration, one can see how this confusion might come about. However, all the clues we need for this little mystery are laid out for us plain to see, in black and white, just waiting for us to do our homework. The evidence is plentiful, once we're ready to start looking into what non-Biblical sources say about the astronomical events surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Phlegon was a Greek historian who wrote an extensive chronology around AD 137:
In the fourth year of the 202nd Olympiad (i.e., AD 33) there was ‘the greatest eclipse of the sun’ and that ‘it became night in the sixth hour of the day [i.e., noon] so that stars even appeared in the heavens. There was a great earthquake in Bithynia, and many things were overturned in Nicaea.’
- Phlegon, 137 AD
Phlegon identifies the year and the exact time of day. In addition, he writes of an earthquake accompanying the darkness, which is specifically recorded in Matthew’s Gospel.

This event could not have been a solar eclipse in the classic sense. In other words, whatever caused a shadow to fall over the earth, and the sun's light to be blotted out, could not have been the moon. As the moon is always in the completely opposite position in the sky during the full moon phase, which is what Passover always falls on. Furthermore, solar eclipses just last a few minutes, never three hours. The three-hour "eclipse-like" event is a historical fact, and accounted for by non-biblical (even non-Christian) authors, including Pontius Pilate no less, who wrote in a report to Tiberius Caesar the following account...

Now when he was crucified darkness came over all the world; the sun was altogether hidden, and the sky appeared dark while it was yet day, so that the stars were seen, though still they had their luster obscured, wherefore, I suppose your excellency is not unaware that in all the world they lighted their lamps from the sixth hour until evening. And the moon, which was like blood, did not shine all night long, although it was at the full, and the stars and Orion made lamentation over the Jews because of the transgression committed by them.

We may never know what caused the solar eclipse-like event that lasted three hours, but we can speculate. Assuming that God uses natural events in unexpected ways to accomplish most of his miracles, then using what we know about natural phenomena, we can make a good guess. Eclipses are caused when the shadow of something is cast on the earth. Under normal circumstances, its the shadow of the moon cast upon the earth, as the moon passes between the earth and the sun, blotting out the sun's light for a few minutes. So based on what we know causes eclipses, we can speculate that something fairly large passed between the earth and the sun on the date and time in question, and we know that it could not have been the moon. Also the duration of the event (3 hours) would seem to indicate that the trajectory of the object was such that it kept the shadow on relatively the same place (the Mediterranean world) for about three hours. One possibility would be a very large asteroid (or even planetoid) on a near collision course with the earth. If the trajectory were so that the large celestial object (several dozen miles in diameter at least) were coming directly from the angle of the sun, passing by the earth at an incredibly close range, it might create a shadow large enough to eclipse the sun wherever it was cast on the earth's surface. Furthermore, such a near miss with such a large object would certainly capture the object in the earth's gravitational well, causing the object to be flung around the earth at a totally different trajectory then when it came in. If the object were to have it's own gravitational pull, and something that size probably would, then it might have caused disturbances on the earth as it passed by in the form of natural disasters, such as earthquakes for example. Granted this is all just speculation, but I am unaware of any other natural occurrence that could cause an eclipse-like event lasting three hours, coupled with earthquakes, like the one described by so many sources from antiquity. I should like to see more study into this possibility done by people more well versed in astronomy and astrophysics than myself.

If indeed I am right about the darkness being caused by a celestial object (asteroid or planetoid) then we have to ask ourselves what this means not just scientifically but religiously too.  Such an object, had it made contact with the earth, would have created nothing short of an extinction event.  This might not just be of mankind, but of all animal and plant life itself.  The impact would have burst the whole world into flames.  Nothing would survive.  The molten slag that was once earth would have taken hundreds of years to cool, and nothing larger than a microbe would exist on earth today, if even that.  Jesus Christ came to save mankind from this sort of judgement, and prepare for us instead a path to eternal life.  Could the shadow cast by this speculative celestial object shed new insight on the words of our Saviour: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me!?!" Could it have appeared to the Messiah that judgement was coming upon the earth in spite of his sacrifice?  I don't know the answer to this question, as I cannot know the mind of Christ, nor can I know exactly what happened that remarkable day.  What I do know is this.  Whatever God did to cast a shadow on the whole earth (or just a large part of it) must have been incredibly threatening to the planet, and judging by the earthquakes that followed, I would say the earth (and humanity) narrowly missed our judgement day.

The occurrence of a blood red moon is actually much more easy to explain. Pilate's account to the red moon also helps us confirm not only the year, but the actual day. NASA has already accounted for the only kind of eclipse that can happen in a full moon phase, which is a lunar eclipse, frequently known to give the moon a "blood red" appearance, particularly when they are seen only partially. NASA pinpoints this event to April 3rd, 33 AD. The following chart is their report, which can be viewed on NASA's actual website here...

Finally, we must look to the Jewish calender to verify that a Passover did occur on this date. Indeed it did. Nissan 15, the customary day for Passover, would have fallen on Saturday the 4th of April in 33 AD. That would have made this particular Saturday a "high sabbath" which is mentioned in the gospel accounts, and it would have made Friday the 3rd of April the day of preparation, when the lamb sacrifice was slaughtered in the Temple. This would have put Jesus crucifixion at exactly the time when the Passover lambs were being slaughtered, just hours before sunset, when Nissan 15 began on the Jewish calendar. (Remember, the Jewish calendar begins each day at sundown not midnight.) Typically, the Passover meal would have been eaten that Friday evening in 33 AD. However, the gospels tell us that Jesus ate the Passover with his disciples the night before -- Thursday. This may be accounted for by the probability that Jesus was using the Essene calendar for the calculation of Passover (read more here).

Pope Benedict XVI, in his Holy Thursday homily for 2007 pointed out that Jesus; "celebrated Passover with his disciples probably according to the calendar of Qumran, that is to say, at least one day earlier -- he celebrated without a lamb, like the Qumran community who did not recognize the Temple of Herod and was waiting for a new temple."

So there you have it folks. The definitive date of Jesus' crucifixion is settled by two undeniable astronomical events. The first extraordinary, recorded in the gospels, and confirmed by the written testimony of non-Biblical authors. The second quite ordinary and predictable, easily calculated and illustrated by the experts at NASA. Finally, we have the confirmation of the Jewish calendar, which confirms a Passover preparation on this very day, just as the gospels tell us. Jesus Christ was crucified at high noon, and died at 3 pm, on April 3rd, 33 AD

El pasado 4 de enero de 2011, coincidiendo con el momento en que la Nave Tierra estaba en el punto de su órbita más cercano al Sol (perihelio) la Luna pasó entre la Tierra y el Sol. Esto no tiene nada de particular en cuanto que ocurre cada 29 días y medio. Lo particular es que el satélite cruzó por la línea entre el Sol y el umbral del amanecer de la Tierra en el momento en que la región de la Península Ibérica pasa del lado nocturno al diurno, de modo que los navegantes humanos de la Nave Tierra que viven ahí pudieron tomar la sombra de la Luna durante un rato. Se vio desde Cataluña (como desde Barcelona) aunque no desde Galicia porque la región gallega estuvo cubierta por las nubes. La sombra de la Luna no eclipsó a España, pues España está en otra dimensión en la que los españoles mantienen su propia sombra que llaman "crisis". Tres centros, el del Sol, el de la Luna y el de las pupilas (más negras que la Luna o la propia sombra de la Luna), estarán en conjunción y alineación. Fue un eclipse parcial.

Dado que la sombra de la Luna se proyectó en el umbral del amanecer de la Madre Tierra (su hermana Tierra), pudo verse al amanecer y por tanto hacia el oriente (este).

Mientras el planeta gira y la región en la que vivimos cruza el umbral de noche y día, las personas "amanecemos" y recuperamos la línea de visión del Sol. Amanecemos nosotros aunque decimos que "amanece el Sol" o "amanece el día". Así, mientras la "Cabeza de Iberia" amanece el día 4 de enero se vio también a la Luna ya eclipsando parcialmente al Sol, de modo que Iberia amaneció con una especie de Visera cósmica. Desde Galicia (cubierta por las nubes ese día) se hubiese visto una "salida" de Sol y de Luna al mismo tiempo. La Luna y el Sol saliendo juntos, como novios. Por eso, aunque todos los eclipses y amaneceres son de categoría especial, este amanecer eclipsado o eclipse tempranero fue "fuera de categoría".

Dado que el eclipse puede durar unos 6 minutos (6x60 segundos), en este caso de eclipse de Sol en el amanecer es como si el día tardara en llegar 6 minutos más de lo que le corresponde. Durante ese tiempo la Luna hace de sombrilla o parasol cósmico. En ese tiempo la Nave planetaria gira 1,5 grados y se traslada 108.000 kms, y la Luna recorre unos 360 kms en sentido contrario al del planeta Tierra.

En 2011 se produce un eclipse de Sol el día 1 de junio. Es parcial, y 14 días después, el día 15, ocurre un eclipse total de Luna.

El eclipse de Sol (y la sombra de la Luna) es debido a la alineación de la Luna entre el Sol y una determinada franja del planeta, pues es el satélite el que se incorpora a la línea Sol/Tierra al desplazarse 30 veces más rápido que la Nave Tierra. Durante un eclipse de Sol, la velocidad a la que nos alcanza o nos rebasa la sombra de la Luna es el resultado de la suma de la velocidad de traslación de la Luna (a 1 km por segundo) y de nuestro desplazamiento (tan inevitable como involuntario) hacia el oriente debido al giro de la Tierra y ambos movimientos son en el mismo sentido. El diámetro de la sombra de la Luna en la superficie del planeta viene a tener un máximo de unos 270 kms. Esto significa que la sombra de la Luna, cual alfrombra en el suelo de la Casa Tierra, es unas 13 veces más pequeña que la propia Luna. También podríamos extender 148 veces la sombra de la Luna por la circunferencia ecuatorial del planeta.

Nosotros tenemos lunares en la piel, la superficie del cuerpo, pero no son provocados por una sombra proyectada por la "luna", palabra de la cual deriva "lunar". Sólo en la superficie de la Tierra puede haber un "lunar" creado por la Luna, cuando ésta pasa por la línea imaginaria que une al Sol y la Tierra y proyecta su sombra en el planeta. Así que, considerando al planeta como Madre (la de todas sus especies) podemos decir que, a veces, a la Madre le aparece un lunar en su Piel: la sombra de la Luna.

LUNAR en la Piel de la Madre Tierra. La sombra de la Luna en la Tierra. Eclipse de Sol.

Un eclipse de Sol por sí solo ya es un fenómeno espectacular independientemente de que sea considerado algo más que un evento astronómico. Sin duda que es una gran coincidencia que un puntito tan pequeño como es el planeta Tierra reciba la sombra de un puntito 3,6 veces aún más pequeño (la Luna) mientras flotan circulando por una región espacial tan inmensa y "vacía" como es el Sistema solar. Tan inmensa es que si abarcáramos en nuestro campo de visión sólo media órbita de la Tierra, no podríamos ver a la Tierra ni apenas distinguir el área orbital de la Luna. Aquí vemos al Sol (que es 109 veces más grande que el planeta Tierra) en el centro de las órbitas, y a "otro Sol" en el perímetro de la órbita de la Tierra. La imagen es a escala.

Pero la coincidencia es aún mayor cuando a tal alineación Tierra/Luna/Sol se suma otro punto más, pero no cualquiera, sino el punto básico: el propio Centro de la galaxia, lo cual ya depende de que la Tierra llegue al punto de su órbita en el momento en que para nosotros es 19 de diciembre y la Luna coincida en fase nueva. El día 24 de noviembre del año 29 ocurrió un eclipse así en Jerusalén al mediodía con la Tierra ante la Luna y el Sol y el Centro galáctico.

Y además, dado que el Sol está situado entre el Centro Galáctico y la región en la que desde la Tierra vemos a la constelación de Orión, ésta estaba justo detrás de la Tierra.

Esta escena es una recreación viendo al Sol, la luz, la Luna y su sombra en la superficie de la Tierra.

Y ésta más cerca y con más en detalle.

Sombra de la Luna durante un eclipse

Con el cielo de la región de Jerusalén despejado, se habría visto a la Luna ocultando al Sol en plena franja de la Vía Láctea. Eso sí, difícilmente se distinguiría el Centro de la galaxia. Si pasas el cursor del ratón por la siguiente doble imagen se puede distinguir la posición del Centro Galáctico y la franja de la Vía Láctea formando un ángulo recto con el horizonte. Parece el Árbol galáctico visto desde 32º norte de una de las Frutas (planeta Tierra) de una de sus Ramas (sistema Solar).

Esta imagen está tomada del programa de astronomía Stellarium. En la página stellarium.org puedes descargar gratuitamente un planetario de software libre. Otros dos programas de astronomía se ha usado para encontrar en la misma fecha un eclipse en Jerusalén al mediodía. Los programas son "DISTANT SUNS", de Virtual Reality Labs (1996) y la Enciclopedia del Espacio y el Universo de Zeta Multimedia.

Si el programa permitiera añadir nubes a la escena, la oscuridad sería mucho mayor y por supuesto no se vería el eclipse.

Varios pintores han dibujado eclipses en sus cuadros, como Antoine Caron, y también en escenas sobre la Crucifixión, como José de Ribera, Pannemarker o Pesellino.

Un eclipse de Sol lo menciona Lucas en su evangelio (capítulo 23, versículos 44-45). En las dobles imágenes siguientes, los pintores imaginaron la escena con el Sol eclipsado por la Luna. También el pintor Pesellino (siglo 15) realizó un cuadro con un eclipse de Sol y de Luna (una luna ensangrentada). 14 días después del eclipse de Sol del 24/11/29 hubo un eclipse parcial de Luna.

De Wikipedia: Mark Kidger del Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (Tenerife, España), comparó el evangelio apócrifo de Pedro con las eclipses históricas. Indicó que el eclipse total del 24 de noviembre de 29 D.C. fue presenciada geográficamente muy cerca del lugar de la crucifixión, pasando la sombra cerca del norte de Jerusalén a las 11:05 A.M. siendo el momento máximo de oscuridad del 95% en dicho lugar y debió pasar desapercibido para la mayoría de quienes estaban fuera de sus casas. El eclipse fue total en Nazaret y Galilea durante 1 minuto y 49 segundos.

Lucas señala que hubo tinieblas desde la hora sexta a la hora novena (o nona, y la hora séptima y media como hora central), lo cual es según el uso horario romano (modernamente desde las 12 del mediodía a las 15 con las 13:30 como central). 3 horas es la duración media de un eclipse desde que la sombra de la Luna entra en la región en la que estamos hasta que sale, y en el caso de que haya nubes, la sombra de éstas hace aún más densa la oscuridad, y por supuesto, si la Luna estuviera pasando entre la Tierra y el Sol no podríamos ver que se está produciendo un eclipse.

Aquel eclipse de Sol (no necesariamente la crucifixión) ocurrió con la Luna y el Sol sobre el Centro galáctico en mitad de la franja de la Vía Láctea entre las constelaciones de Ofiuco y Sagitario, que simbolizan al Serpentario y al Centauro arquero que en la mitología griega se llaman Asclepio y Quirón, personajes míticos íntimamente relacionados por ser discípulo y maestro en el arte de la sanación cuyo arquetipo representativo por excelencia es la serpiente, porque su veneno contiene su propio antídoto, y de hecho es utilizada como símbolo por la ciencia médica y la Organización Mundial de la Salud (aunque con el dinero como intermediario). También la constelación de Ofiuco está en mitad de la constelación de la Serpiente.

También, el 24 de noviembre del 29 a las 13:30 horas, en la cenital de Palestina (trazando una línea desde el Centro de la Tierra pasando por Jerusalén y proyectándola al Firmamento) estaba la constelación del Cisne, llamada la Cruz del Norte (ver también constelación de la Cruz del Sur), es decir, la Cruz del Norte sobre la cruz en la que estuviera Jesús, y sobre Jerusalén y Palestina. Tanto la Cruz del Norte como el Centro galáctico están en plena franja de la Vía Láctea.

Si Jesús hubiera nacido en el año -7 (746 de Roma) y hubiera muerto en el año 29 (el 782 de Roma) habría vivido 36 años, aunque la idea generalmente supuesta y aceptada es que tenía 33 años al morir, lo cual significaría que habría muerto en el año 26, y en este año también hubo un eclipse en Jerusalén al mediodía del 6 de febrero con el Sol al final de la región de Acuario. A más posibilidades más interpretaciones.

Por su lado, también el tan célebre como críptico Nostradamus menciona un eclipse de sol y lo relaciona de alguna forma (a interpretación) con la pasión y muerte de Jesucristo en una de las cartas con las que mantenía correspondencia con el Rey Enrique II: "Esto será precedido por un eclipse de sol, más oscuro y tenebroso que nunca desde la creación del mundo salvo después de la muerte y pasión de Jesucristo" (Fuente: http://www.caesaremnostradamus.com/Escritos_archivos/Traducciones/Henry%20II.htm).

También en la Cuarteta 72 de la Centuria X, posiblemente se refiere de forma alegórica (como "un gran rey del terror") a la sombra de un eclipse de Sol en su futuro año 1999, mes 7: "En el año mil novecientos noventa y nueve siete meses, vendrá del cielo un gran rey del terror...". En el mes 8, 11 de agosto de 1999 ocurrió un eclipse total de Sol durante el que la sombra de la Luna cruzó Europa pasando por Francia. Una curiosidad es que fue el último eclipse total de Sol del mismo milenio (1000-2000) en cuya mitad (1503) nació Michel de Nostredame.

Evidentemente no sabemos con seguridad en qué fecha se produjo el eclipse "más oscuro y tenebroso" de entre los que podemos tener noticia, pero tal "tenebrosidad" sólo puede ocurrir cuando a la sombra de la Luna se suma la sombra de densas nubes de tormenta. Si Lucas cita el eclipse sería porque él sí conocía que había ocurrido o porque alguien se lo habría comunicado. De haber ocurrido y de haber sido visto hubiese sido lógico que hubiera quedado grabado en la memoria popular humana pues se habría presenciado a la Luna eclipsando al Sol en plena franja de la Vía Láctea y sobre el punto del Centro galáctico (aunque no se supiera donde estaba el Centro de la Galaxia). 14 días después ocurrió un eclipse (parcial) de Luna.

El pintor Francesco Pesellino realizó en el siglo 15 un cuadro sobre la Crucifixión mostrando un eclipse de Sol, pero también de Luna en la misma escena. Igualmente Pieter Pannemaker en el siglo 16.

Si imaginamos el eclipse desde el espacio "exterior" podemos entender que la SOMBRA DE LA LUNA es literalmente un LUNAR, y así como la piel de nuestro cuerpo tiene lunares será porque la Piel de la Madre (Tierra) los puede tener.

Actualmente, el "tránsito" del Sol por el meridiano celeste en el que está el Centro galáctico en plena franja de la Vía Láctea ocurre cada día gregoriano 19 de diciembre. O dicho de otra forma y de la forma que refleja la realidad: se trata del tránsito de la Nave Tierra por el meridiano celeste contrario al meridiano en el que vemos situado al centro galáctico. No es que la cronología se haya corrido o retrasado 25 días (del 24 de noviembre al 19 de diciembre en 2000 años) sino que durante 2000 órbitas de la Tierra el sistema planetario se ha desplazado una sección de círculo por el Espacio en torno a un centro más exterior y masivo (como la Tierra una 12ª parte cada mes en torno al Sol) y así el punto de la órbita respecto al Sol y el Centro galáctico, una dinámica que no podemos reproducir en calendarios (estructuras rígidas para un tiempo), y de hecho no es importante en nuestro estado de conciencia ni para nuestros propósitos personales durante una esperanza de vida de 70 años, ni para los de una sociedad que dura más pero no está integrada en el orden y dinámica del Universo. El hecho de que la Luna se una a la cita -aunque no siempre eclipsando al Sol- ocurre cada 19 años. Por eso este tipo de eclipse con la Luna ocultando al Sol sobre el Centro de la galaxia (y concretamente en Jerusalén) no es muy frecuente. De hecho volvió a ocurrir 475 años más tarde (año 504) y luego 437 años después (año 941). El siguiente sí se produjo otra vez 475 años después (año 1416). Y el siguiente en 1919 (503 años después). Estos cuatro dan una media de unos 472 años (25 ciclos de 19 años).

Es decir que si la Luna volviera a pasar justo por la línea Tierra/Sol durante un 19 de diciembre, se produciría un eclipse de Sol justo ante el Centro de la galaxia y apreciaríamos en todo su esplendor la Vía Láctea en pleno día, como el Árbol galáctico visto con ojos humanos desde 32º al norte del ecuador de una de las Frutas (planeta Tierra) de una de sus Ramas (sistema Solar).

También puede darse el caso de que la Luna esté ahí mientras pasa por el cono de sombra de la Tierra, tal como ocurre el día 15 de junio de 2011. El día 1 se produce un eclipse (parcial) de Sol Es parcial, y 14 días después, el día 15, se produce ese eclipse total de Luna con ésta y la sombra de la Tierra en la franja de la Vía Láctea y sobre el Centro galáctico.

En 2012, el 20 de mayo el Sol estará bajo las Pléyades y la Luna pasará entre la Tierra y el Sol, de modo que ocurre un eclipse ANULAR de Sol ante las Pléyades. La parte más densa de la sombra de la Luna pasará por el monte Fuji, la ciudad de Tokyo (y rozando a la ya famosa ciudad de Fukushima) y tras cruzar el Pacífico por el sur de las Islas Aleutianas, por San Francisco, prácticamente las dos únicas grandes ciudades habitadas por millones de personas desde las que se verá el eclipse con mayor nitidez.
