Goals in Sight

The Moon, our nightlight, can be viewed most nights -- and some days -- no wonder it has been a focus of exploration for over 50 years. In fact, it has been 50 years since President John F. Kennedy gave his "Decision to go to the Moon Speech" as part of his address to congress titled: "Special Message to the Congress on Urgent National Needs." This speech announced the national goal of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth within the decade.
And go we did. Before we could send a man to the lunar surface various preparatory missions came first, such as the Ranger, Surveyor, Lunar Orbiter, Gemini and early Apollo missions. (Surveyor 1 was the first American soft landing on the Moon 45 years ago this year.) It wasn't until near the end of that decade did a man (Neil Armstrong, 20 July 1969) set foot on our nearest neighbor, and oh what a step.
"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
Since then a total of 12 men have walked on the Moon, and missions to the Moon, such as the current Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, expand our knowledge of our satellite. Soon GRAIL will take to the skies, and once arriving at the Moon it will measure the Moon's gravity field with twin spacecraft flying in tandem.

Fat Man (en español: Hombre Gordo, en japonés: ファットマン Fattoman?) fue el nombre clave utilizado para el dispositivo nuclear que fue detonado en Nagasaki, Japón por los Estados Unidos el 9 de agosto de 1945. Fue el segundo y hasta ahora, el último dispositivo nuclear utilizado en un ataque y el tercero en ser detonado en la historia después de Trinity y Little Boy.
El arma fue lanzada desde el bombardero B-29 Bockscar, pilotado por el Comandante Charles Sweeney. Era una bomba de tipo de implosión que utilizaba plutonio. Una esfera hueca subcrítica de plutonio se rodeó de una esfera mayor de explosivos, la cual fue detonada en toda su superficie simultáneamente comprimiendo así el plutonio y aumentando su densidad hasta conseguir las condiciones supercríticas que produjeran una explosión nuclear.
Debido al complicado mecanismo de detonación, fue necesario realizar una prueba completa del concepto antes de que los científicos y militares pudieran sentirse seguros de que el dispositivo funcionaría adecuadamente en condiciones de batalla, por lo que el 16 de julio de 1945, un dispositivo que utilizó un mecanismo similar fue detonado en una prueba en Nuevo México. Esta prueba se conoció como Prueba Trinity.

The Great Serpent Mound
Serpent Mound is a prehistoric effigy mound located in Adams County, Ohio --
Like certain sites in the Yucatan, the area was formed by a meteorite impact millions of years ago.
In a portion of his book, The Mystery of the Serpent Mound: In Search of the Alphabet of the Gods, Ross Hamilton pointed out that the geometry of the effigy -- incredibly -- demonstrates the Pythagorean Theorem. The ancient theorem states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse (long side) of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of those of the other two other sides. The formula can be written --
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
Interestingly, Pythagoras was named after the great Python serpent at Delphi by the Oracle.

Ross did not mention it, but it is also interesting that the 153 Fish in the Net story, in pre-Christian times, was associated with Apollo's Oracle at Delphi. This is part of the related Greek Gematria --

According to Ross, the triangle indicated in Serpent Mound is based on the 6-8-10 triangle --
6^2 + 8^2 = 10^2
36 + 64 = 100
The numbers are associated with Roman figures, and their Magic Squares. The numbers 6 and 36 (6 x 6) are related to the Sun. The numbers 8 and 64 (8 x 8) are related to Mercury. The numbers 10 and 100 (10 x 10) are related to the Earth.
The actual measurements of Serpent Mound are 34 times the numbers in the basic formula --
204^2 + 272^2 = 340^2
The same numbers added give -- 204 + 272 + 340 = 816. The number 816, divided by 34 is 136, which is related to the Magic Square of Jupiter, a 4 x 4 gird, where the 16 numbers add to 136. Each row, column and diagonal adding to 34. The numbers are also associated with the Tree of Life --
The Sun on the above list is related to Helios. I believe it could also be related to Apollo, who was considered a sun god, or the Sun behind the sun.
The number 34 is, of course, twice 17, and, remember, the numbers 1 through 17 add to 153.
The number 272 is a harmonic of the Megalithic Yard of 2.72 feet. This numbers is thought by some to be related to the mathematical constant 'e' -- the base of the natural system of logarithms, 2.718282.
The same type of numbers appeared in the Milk Hill Mega Glyph crop circle formation of 2001 --
It appeared around August 13, 2001, a few weeks prior to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The formation was composed of 409 circles. Significantly, it is patterned after the Seed of Life, in a form related to ancient sun symbols. Each of the six segments had 13 major circles and 55 smaller circles. And the Gregorian calender change took place in 1582...the rest is HIS-tory.

What do people do?
Ramadan is a month of fasting for many Muslims in the United States. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars (fundamental religious duties) of Islam. It is a time of self-examination and increased religious devotion.

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, which consists of 12 months and lasts for about 354 days. The word “Ramadan” is derived from an Arabic word for intense heat, scorched ground and shortness of food and drink. It is considered to be the most holy and blessed month. Fighting is not allowed during this period.
The month of Ramadan traditionally begins with a new moon sighting, marking the start of the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. Many Muslims (except children, the sick and the elderly) abstain from food, drink, and certain other activities during daylight hours in Ramadan. Explicación: Bienvenidos al solsticio de diciembre, un día en que el mundo no se acaba … ni siquiera según el calendario maya. El día del solsticio de diciembre es la noche más larga del año en el hemisferio Norte y la más corta en el hemisferio Sur.
Para celebrarlo, mira esta espectacular fotografía de Orion elevándose sobre la pirámide central de Chichén Itzá, uno de los grandes centros mayas de la península de Yucatán. Conocida también como el Templo de Kukulkán, tiene 30 metros de altura y 55 metros de ancho en la base. Está construida mediante una serie de terrazas cuadradas por la civilización precolombina entre los siglos IX y XII.
La estructura se puede utilizar como un calendario y se caracteriza por las alineaciones astronómicas . De hecho, los mayas eran unos consumados astrónomos y matemáticos. Usaban con precisión los movimientos cíclicos de las estrellas, del Sol, de la Luna y los planetas para medir el tiempo y elaborar calendarios.
Brillan a través de las nubes en esta escena nocturna, las estrellas de la constelación de Orión, El Cazador, representaban una tortuga en el cielo maya. Tak sáamal.

What did the Roman Catholic Church do....during the 23 days that this 'light' was visible in daylight?

A cosmic event did happen in 1054 A.D., and it could be one of the reasons our OZONE has been depleting since 1054... Could it have been a trigger...triggering events that take hundreds of years to actually manifest and alter our weather on earth? ICE CORE samples is proof that GAMMA RAYS contribute to the depleting of the OZONE, and then once the OZONE has been weakened...UV radiation is allowed to enter our bubble of illusions. SN 1054It relates to a specific year, 1054 A.D. and AN EVENT, that was witnessed and recorded by many astronomers/astrologers/indigenous peoples around the world...everybody seemed to notice this event, witnessed by everybody EXCEPT the Roman Catholic Church and its flock of obedient, loyal sheeple. The most bizarre yet revealing conclusion from the 1054 Gamma Ray Burst? FACT: The night sky was altered for 653 days, so why didn't the RC Church and western/euro science of the day record this event? Alamogordo

Alamogordo o Álamo Gordo (pronunciado /'alamo 'γorðo/ en castellano) es una ciudad ubicada en el condado de Otero en el estado estadounidense de Nuevo México. En el Censo de 2010 tenía una población de 30 403 habitantes y una densidad poblacional de 547,38 personas por km².[2]
En sus proximidades se encuentran las dos grandes bases militares de Holloman Air Force Base y White Sands Missile Range. La ciudad cobró fama por ser el primer lugar donde se probó la bomba atómica y la sede del Festival Internacional de Cine The White Sands, por ser el lugar donde la compañia de videojuegos estadounidense Atari enterró millones de copias de su videojuego E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial debido a su absoluto fracaso comercial en 1983.
Alamogordo se encuentra ubicada en las coordenadas 32°53′1″N 105°57′49″O / 32.88361, -105.96361. Según la Oficina del Censo de los Estados Unidos, Alamogordo tiene una superficie total de 55.54 km², de la cual 55.51 km² corresponden a tierra firme y (0.06%) 0.03 km² es agua.[3]
Alamogordo fue fundada en junio de 1898, a causa de la ampliación de las líneas de ferrocarril propiedad de Charles B. Eddy, quien influyó en el diseño de la ciudad, que incluye grandes avenidas arboladas y canales de riego. El nombre de la ciudad se deriva del álamo.[4]

Varios edificios en Alamogordo fueron construidos por la Works Progress Administration. Estos incluyen el Edificio Federal en el 1101 New York Avenue, un edificio de estilo Pueblo originalmente construido como la principal Oficina de Correos de EE.UU. en 1938. El edificio está incluido en el Registro Nacional de Lugares Históricos. La entrada principal presenta frescos de Peter Hurd realizados en 1942. Pruebas nucleares[editar]
La primera bomba atómica de la historia fue detonada en el Test Range Alamogordo el 16 de julio de 1945, la Prueba Trinity. El lugar de la explosión, llamado Trinity Site (Sitio Trinity), se encuentra dentro de la base White Sands Missile Range. Este fue el único ensayo nuclear que tuvo lugar en esta ubicación. Trinity Site está ubicado aproximadamente a 97 km de Alamogordo. El sitio está abierto a los visitantes el primer sábado de abril y el primer sábado de octubre.[8]
Aterrizaje del Columbia[editar]
En marzo de 1982, el transbordador espacial Columbia, que finalizaba su tercera misión, la STS-3, realizó el único aterrizaje no efectuado en California o Florida. El vehículo orbital aterrizó en la Base Espacial de White Sands, cerca de Alamogordo.

Alamogordo tiene poca actividad industrial, vive principalmente de la pequeña empresa y del notable auge del turismo, además de la proximidad de dos grandes instalaciones militares y una masiva presencia de militares jubilados. En 2006 el ingreso per cápita en el Condado de Otero fue de 22.798 USD, superado por el ingreso per cápita en Nuevo Mexico, que es de 29.929 $.[9] [10]
Hay dos escuelas secundarias, tres escuelas intermedias y 11 escuelas primarias en el distrito escolar público Escuelas Públicas de Alamogordo, además de dos escuelas privadas en Alamogordo.
El gobierno alemán educa en el Deutsche Schule a los hijos de miembros de la Fuerza Aérea alemana estacionados en el centro de formación de la Holloman Air Force Base. La escuela de Nuevo México para ciegos y deficientes visuales es una escuela estatal ubicada en Alamogordo. La Universidad Estatal de Nuevo México tiene un campus en Alamogordo.
