If you are in DC the first week of May, you can go to the west side of the Capitol Building at sunset and looked toward the White House to see the sun. The image above shows the sun setting May the first, 20 degrees north of due west in DC. This event is the flip side of the story told by David Ovason about the sun setting over Penn Avenue in August, which you can see in the image below. Here you can see that the sun also sets there in May. Now, re-read his book where he talks about Pennsylvania Ave having been aligned to one sunset on one day.

 

 

If you are in DC the second week of November, you can stand on the west side of the CB to watch the sunset near the Jefferson Memorial to the left of the Wash Mmt. If you were there in February, the sun will be setting in the same place again after having made its southerly most pass in December. David Ovason never mentions that Maryland and Penn Aves are symmetrical to one another.

 

 

Penn Ave is NOT aligned to one sunset, but to two of them, just as Maryland Ave is!!

From page 339 Secret Architecture, "Both L'Enfant and Ellicott would have insisted that only one day (which is to say, one particular sunset) would mark precisely the orientation between the Capitol and the President's House." Parentheses are his.

I remind Serious Students that these dates, early Feb, May, Aug and November correspond to what are known as the 'cross-quarter' days - the days half-way between the solstices and the equinoxes. In the northern hemisphere the cold peaks statistically on about Feb 6th, while the heat of the summer peak about Aug 6th. The mid-points are in May and November.

Students of astrology should note that the solstice and equinoxes happen on the cusp (beginning) of the cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The cross-quarter days occur at 15 degrees of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, 45+ days after the equinoxes and the solstices. If you know your zodiac symbolism you will recognize these four as relating to the four creatures which were depicted in Ezekiel and Revelation as - a bull, a lion, a man and an eagle. Here is a standard Royal Arch image used by Masons that bears the same creatures.

If you were to watch the sunset for a year from the west side of the Capitol, you would see the sun set in front of you in March and September, it would set on Penn Ave in May, it would set 31 degrees north of due west in late June, and on PA again in August - as Ovason points out.

Next you would see the sun set over Maryland Ave in November, it will set 31 degrees south of due west in Dec and over MA again in Feb. Instead of being oriented to one sunset on one day, the city appears to have been oriented to four sunsets on four days, as seen by Penn and Maryland Aves. The city is not aligned to the solstices but to the cross-quarter days; the fixed zodiac signs, not the cardinal ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some of you may have seen David Icke's demonstration where he uses the image above from Charles Westrbrook's book to prove the DC streets were aligned to the solstices. Please note, first of all, that those three sets of lines are not all parallel, yet they are all labeled as a solstice alignment. (I have added the numbers on the right.)

If you study the solar arc, you will find that while the sun moves to 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator at the solstices, as seen from the equator, that arc widens as you move north or south on the globe. At the latitude of DC, the total solar arc is 62 degrees, 31 north and south. That is, the sun is located 31 degrees north of due east on June 21 in DC.

Since the sun moves 71% of the arc between the equinox and solstice in half that time (45 days), The cross quarter day sunrises and sets happen at 31 x .71, or 22 degrees from due east-west in DC. That matches the alignment of Penn and Maryland Aves.

 

 

 

Take a look at the DVD named "Riddles in Stone" at about 17:00, where they are discussing the star Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. When you look at the earth's orbit around the sun, you will see that on July 4th, the earth is at its far point from the sun, and it is in such a position that the sun aligns with Sirius. That means that the sun is in front of Sirius, so that you can't see it.

In the DVD, it points to the cornerstone ceremony for the Washington Monument, noting that the sun aligned with Sirius then. They fail to point out that the ceremony took place on July 4th, and that the sun aligns with Sirius then every year. Next they present an image of DC looking east -

 

 

They proclaim that on the day of the cornerstone ceremony for the monument, you would have been able to see Sirius rising in the east, and hovering over the Capitol Building as seen above. You now know that you can not see Sirius July 4th, since the sun lies directly in front of it then!! What you would have seen would have been the sun only. Sirius does not emerge from behind the sun until August, the time that David Ovason writes so much about.

Note also that in the DVD it is suggested that the pyramid was 'aligned' to Sirius; that is was built so that the light of Sirius would travel down one of the air shafts and fall on an initiate located in the Queen's Chamber. Have a look at a drawing of the Queen's Chamber and the shafts, and you can see that it is impossible for that to happen, as the southern shaft has a bend in it.

El mes de Julio-Agosto equivale al quinto mes del calendario Hebreo llamado “Av.” Este mes es de mucho significado para el pueblo judío, porque marca un período de tres semanas de lamentacion y días de ayuno. Se le conoce como “iemé ben hametzarim,”  que significa “los días entre los límites.” Este nombre tiene su origen en el versículo que dice:

“Todos sus perseguidores la alcanzaron (a la cuidad de Jerusalen)

 entre los límites (ben hametzarim).”

Pero la raíz de la palabra “metzar” también significa “angosto, estrecho.” Los rabinos explicaron que la expresión “ben hametzarim” se refiere a los 21 días de angostura, estrechez, aflicción y sufrimiento, que se encuentran entre dos límites, es decir entre dos fechas que limitan su alegría, el 17 de Tamuz y el 9 de Av. Se dice que hay que tener grandes precauciones porque es una época en la cual el mal tiene influencia sobre el mundo.Estos tiempos están divididos en tres partes: primero, las leyes desde el 17 de Tamuz hasta el comienzo del mes de Av; segundo, desde el comienzo del mes de Av hasta la semana en la cual cae el 9 de Av; y por ultimo, las leyes de la semana del 9 de Av. Todo esto porque en estas fechas ocurrieron cosas terribles para el pueblo judío.

El Ayuno del 17 de Tamuz, “Shiv’ah Asar BeTamuz,” decretado como día de duelo y ayuno público en memoria de las siguientes tragedias:

Estos días son llamados los días de “taanit tzibur” (ayuno público). Estos días de ayuno son recordados por el profeta Zacarías:

serán motivo de gozo y de alegría,

y de animadas festividades.

Amen, pues, la verdad y la paz.”

Los rabinos enseñan que el propósito principal de las costumbres de duelo de los días de “ben hametzarim,” no es el lamento por lo ocurrido en tiempos pasados, puesto que el sufrimiento sentido en aquellos días fue suficientemente grande. El objetivo principal de estos días es inspirar a las personas a que recuerden sus malos actos y se arrepientan de ellos, entendiendo que esas acciones fueron las que provocaron todas estas tragedias. El propósito de estos días, entonces, es despertarnos de nuestro letargo, al conmover nuestros corazones hacia el arrepentimiento, recordando nuestros propios pecados así como también los de nuestros ancestros. Lo triste de todo esto es que como los rabinos no reconocen a Yeshua como el Mesías, ni aceptan la expiación que él hizo por nuestros pecados derramando su sangre, ellos tienen la esperanza de que el Templo vuelva a ser reconstruido. Esto encontramos en el Talmud de Jerusalén:

“Toda generación en la cual el “Bet Hamikdash”

(Templo de Jerusalén)

no es reconstruido, es considerada como

si ellos mismos lo hubiesen destruido.”

Increíblemente el mismo Talmud dice que la destrucción del Segundo Templo en el año 70 d.C. no fue sorpresa para los judíos ya que el mismo Talmud (Yoma 39a, b) recuerda que cuatro cosas pasaron 40 años antes de la destrucción del Templo que les anunciaba que algo malo iba a suceder:

• La piedra marcada “Para el Señor,” (ver Levíticos 16:8) echada en suerte, era considerada buen augurio si caía en el lado derecho. Pero 40 años antes de la destrucción del Templo, caía del lado izquierdo. Este presagio los llenó de miedo de una inminente fatalidad.
• El manojo o hisopo rojo atado al Templo en el Día de Expiación, dejó de volverse blanco después de que el macho cabrío era soltado en el desierto y echado al precipicio (ver Levíticos 16:10).
• La lámpara que era usada para encender los candelabros en el Templo, no la podían encender.
• Las puertas del Templo se abrían solas. Los rabinos presagiaron esto como un cumplimiento de la profecía de Zacarías (ver Zacarías 11:1).

Tristemente los rabinos no se han podido dar cuenta de que el hecho de que sucediera todo esto, nos deja ver claramente, que para Yahweh ya no eran aceptables los sacrificios de animales, por que el único y verdadero sacrificio que quita el pecado del mundo, fue el que ocurrió exactamente 40 años antes de la destrucción del Templo en el 70 d.C., la muerte del Cordero de Elohim que quita el pecado del mundo, Yeshua HaMashiaj Ve’Melej HaYehudim (Yeshua el Mesías y Rey de los Judíos)!.   

PHI, METATRON’S CUBE AND THE HOLY NUMBER 108

Greetings World Mystery readers! This article is the second article in a continuing series dealing with sacred number, sacred geometry and gematria. In the last article we took a look at the ancient art of gematria which is the art of assigning numbers to letters, what is known to many as Kabbalah or Cabala, and we deconstructed the English Alphabet using the numbers 1 through 7. We will not be going over the cipher again in this article so please take the time to read the first article in this series to familiarize yourself with the mathematical structure of our English Alphabet before trying to read on. The link for the video explaining the cipher is posted below and an abridged version of the cipher is shown here.   I have spent my entire adult life pursuing an answer for the meaning of this life and have always had an insatiable appetite for trying to understand this existence. I undertook this journey of discovery for many years knowing full well that there might not even be an answer to the big questions we all ask at some point in our lives: Why are we here? Is there a meaning to life? What happens when we die? Where did we come from? Is there a God? This pursuit led me into inquiring into many subjects – I have dabbled in physics, theology, philosophy, history, archaeology, astronomy, etc. This yearning to understand the nature of reality and our place in it reached a fever pitch within the last few years and my passion and constant drive to find my own personal truths led me straight into the heart of mathematics and geometry.

I undertook the study of mathematics within the last few years of my life and concentrated on it very heavily because I felt that mathematics held within its workings the answers to many of the mysteries and enormous questions surrounding the nature of our reality. Through immersing myself in mathematics and geometry, I came to understand that mathematics was indeed a language – one that has been shared by all advanced cultures in all epochs of time. After working with simple mathematical principles, mainly adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, I started to communicate with it, started listening to what it had to tell me and realized that beneath the seemingly insurmountable study of math, the core of its structure was simple, beautiful and held within it the patterns and essence of our creation. Like many, my experience with mathematics in high school was extremely off-putting. Math wasn’t something of cosmic import or something you could adore, appreciate or even, dare I say, have fun with, math was a headache and was something only brainiacs and bookworms pursued.

During my numerical studies I ended up utilizing certain mathematical principles considered highly esoteric and numerological, such as decimal parity or digital root (something we will explore in depth in this article), mirroring numbers and number symbolism. Many contemporaries consider such methods as pseudo-scientific, but by employing these methods the numbers themselves seemed to be transmitting higher realms and orders of information. From where I sat, there seemed to be a whole enchilada of goodies and gems hiding just beneath the surface of number. And due to my inherent inability to “let sleeping dogs lie” If you will, I fully intended to dig up those gleaming bits of wisdom and truth and gaze at their glory.

Let me put my cards on the table, I am an outsider. I am auto-didactic and I learned everything I know about mathematics, geometry and gematria on my own, being highly influenced by many writers and researchers both new and old. The likes of Marko Rodin, Scott Onstott, John Michell, Robin and Richard Heath, Michael S. Schneider, John Anthony West, R.A. Schwaller De lubicz, Laird Scranton, Manly P. Hall and Santos Bonacci, to name just a few, were instrumental in helping me pursue the line of thinking that has led me to the discoveries I have put forth today. I am deeply indebted to these people and many others and without these scholarly heroes making enormous strides in their work, I would not be here writing this blog and putting forth my videos and books. That is a fact.

Coming in through the side door, having no professional experience and having no accreditations from any university has put me in a position to not be taken seriously by contemporary higher institutions of learning, by scientists or by scholars of all sorts – but it has also gifted me the blessing of having a fresh perspective on the world of language and math. My limited experience at the university level taught me that so many institutions of higher learning wish only to regurgitate the paradigm of knowledge accepted at the time. Most modern school systems do wish to push the boundaries or break the molds. Within mathematics, I saw an entire world left to be discovered – unchartered waters that our current system of thought was not willing to even send a little skiff out into. Upon getting my sea legs in mathematics, I in turn found myself getting drenched with the beauty of sacred number and sacred geometry.

My goal in my on-going web series and within my books has been to try to merge mathematics and spirituality and relate them directly to the human being. Self-centered as it may sound, the question that I consistently asked was “What does all this have to do with me?” Through my own personal experience with number, and years of pursuing a personal philosophy and a certain line of thinking, I saw many correlations between theology, mythology, philosophy and the sciences. These subjects didn’t seem like separate entities but rather different aspects of an interwoven whole – a whole that could be intuited, grasped and understood with the magic of numbers. I had no set beliefs going into my pursuit. I wasn’t agnostic, atheist, Christian, Muslim or Jewish. I was not and am not a Freemason, a member of any sort of  underground or secret society, I don’t consider myself democrat or republican and I am not specialized in any particular field of research. The only thing I can honestly say is that I was open-minded and discerning about all the information I had accrued and gathered over the years and that mindset turned out to be the most important philosophy I ever undertook in my life.

The Golden Ratio PHI – A Key to Unlock the Heavens and Earth

Within the word philosophy consists of one of the most important mathematical ratios of all known by the ancient Greeks as Phi and Phee (PHI – loso – PHEE). Phi and its counterpart Phee are deemed the Golden Mean, the Golden Proportion and the Golden Ratio. This ratio is the number 1.618 and is the number upon which all of nature performs her balancing act. The word “mean” is defined as “occupying a position between two extremes” and it is within this number that all of nature blooms into magnificence. Through the very word philosophy, our ancestors were trying to guide us in our thinking, informing us that in order to truly pontificate, ponder, ruminate and ultimately understand the workings of our cosmos, one would need to immerse himself in the power of number. Phi was not just some arbitrary number or ratio somehow manifested through mindless chaotic universal construction but a key to unlock the door to certain universal truths within the sacredness of the Heavens and Earth.

The ratio of Phi is understood mathematically as the total length “a + b” is to the length of the longer segment “a” as the length of “a” is to the length of the shorter segment “b”.

This proportion is expressed on the human body.

From the bottom of your feet to your navel equals 1 and the navel to the top of your head equals .618, making you, the complete man, approximately 1.618. From your elbow to your wrist equals 1 and your wrist to the end of your middle finger equals .618, making your complete arm, roughly 1.618.

This ratio constructs the human temple and is a tool to help one recognize that the human being is indeed a balance or mean between the two extremes of the as above and the so below. You are the central balancing node between the Heavens above and the Earth below. The Golden Mean is a ratio to help establish meaning in your life. It is there to help you understand this world rationally.

By contemplating these two eternal concepts you may just come to the UNDERSTANDING that they balance each other by nothing more and nothing less than yourself.” – Claudia Pavonis

We can find the Golden Ratio within the Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci Sequence is a sequence that was rediscovered in the 13th century by the French mathematician Leonardo of Pisa, also known as Leonardo Fibonacci. The sequence was originally formed to calculate how rabbits multiply when they mate. The series grows accruing terms that come from within itself, taking nothing from outside the sequence of growth. This pattern spirals as it grows to fruition. This spiral pattern is evident all throughout nature: tornadoes, sunflowers, ocean waves and pine cones all form from this fundamental sequence. From the first term, 0 the Fibonacci Sequence grows by simple addition.

By taking a number later in the sequence and dividing it by its predecessor we can find our holy ratio of 1.618. Example: 144 / 89 = 1.618…. Many people nowadays are familiar with the Fibonacci Sequence and this will undoubtedly be a review for many readers. Even if you are not familiar with the sequence, you have surely seen its wonders play out in the world. Even your credit cards and IDs are created by the ratio of Phi.

We can also find this ratio within the balancing number in our number line, the number 5. The number 5 is the balancing point between the numbers 0 and 10 (or 1 and 9).

A Pentagram (penta meaning 5) encodes 1.618 as well if we measure the smaller half of one of the arms of the star, it will proportion out to .618 with the larger half being 1. Human beings are constructed using the number 5. We have 5 senses, 5 fingers on each hand, 5 toes on each foot and 5 extensions from our torso. Phi and Phive are intimately linked to the construction of the human being.

The Holy Number 108

In this article, we will be exploring in depth the very holy number 108 and its relationship to the Fibonacci sequence and the number 5. If you notice above, the number 108 is the number of degrees between the top arms of the pentagram. The number 108 is a number that has shown its face time and time again throughout history and is, in the opinion of this author, a key vertex in the archetypal architecture of our creation. What is so important about this number? In both Pi – The Great Work and Pi & The English Alphabet Vol. 1 I highlight some of the many places this number shows its face. They are listed below:

• There are 54 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, and each has masculine and feminine (shiva and shakti) qualities. 54 times 2 equals 108.
• The Indian Subcontinent rosary, or set of mantra counting, has 108 beads.
• In the Krishna tradition, there were said to be 108 gopis of Krishna
• The radius of the Moon is 1,080 miles.
• The number 108 is used in Islam to refer to God.
• The Chinese Buddhists and Taoists use a 108 bead mala, which is called su-chu, and has 3 dividing beads, so the mala is divided into three parts of 36 each.
• The Sikh tradition has a mala of 108 knots tied in a string of wool, rather than beads.
• There are 9 planets in the Solar System and 12 ages of the Zodiac. 9 x 12 = 108.
• Atman, the human soul or center, goes through 108 stages on the journey.

There are many more examples of where this number 108 shows its face but these few are enough to make us ask the questions;

• Why 108?
• Where did this number come from?
• Why is it so special and consistently seen across the world?
• Why does it seem to be attached to spiritualties such as Sikh, Hinduism, Taoism and Buddhism?

We are going to find this Holy 108 within the spiraling unfolding Fibonacci sequence. It is interesting to note the similarities between the words SPIRitual and SPIRal.

Decimal Parity

In the last article we briefly touched on the ancient numerological practice known as decimal parity. Decimal parity is a method not used in contemporary mathematics but is one that was utilized by mystics, magis, astrologers and spiritual philosophers of the past. Termed decimal parity, digital root, Pythagorean addition, Kabbalistic reduction and Theosophical addition, this technique breaks any number down to the numbers 1 – 9 and in doing so allows one to view not just the quantity, but the quality and essence of a number as well.
The modern approach to math does not allow for such “numeric trickery”.  Modern science and mathematics leaves basically no room for interpretation or for a philosophical understanding of number itself. Numbers were not created by man – numbers are the creation of nature and of the divine and the more ways we can understand this natural language, the more we will understand our Earth, our cosmos and ourselves. Simply put, decimal parity gives us another way of speaking the language of God.

So how exactly does decimal parity work?
Decimal parity is simple. No matter how large or complex the number, we can break it down to its decimal or digital root.

For example, let’s look at the number 987,654,321. By combining the individual digits of this number, we can find its digital root by utilizing one of the most basic mathematical principles of all; addition.
9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 45 and 4 + 5 = 9
Therefore the essence, quality or decimal parity equivalent of 987,654,321 is 9.

Let’s try another. Let’s find the decimal parity equivalent of the number 361.
3 + 6 + 1 = 10 and 1 + 0 = 1
Therefore the essence, quality or decimal parity equivalent of 361 is 1.

We can now take this technique over to the Fibonacci sequence to see what this mighty sequence has to offer us. Shown below is the graphic for the breakdown of the Fibonacci sequence but this time with its decimal parity equivalents highlighted in green. Notice 13 now becomes 4, 21 becomes 3, 34 becomes 7, etc.

If we continue this process out, we will find a repeating string of 24 digits within the Fibonacci Sequence being the following:

This pattern of numbers will repeat itself ad infinitum due to the Fibonacci sequence’s self-generated process of growth with the only variation being the first term, or the digit ZERO. The first term in the sequence is a zero in the first cycle but becomes a 9 every cycle thereafter. (0/9) This difference is shown and highlighted below:

We will not be going over the math here due to space constraints but if you would like to see the math, I have it highlighted in my book Pi – The Great Work, page 45. The first 24 numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence – before Decimal Parity reduction are:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711, 28657.

With, once again, its decimal parity equivalents being:

(0), 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1.

If we add these 24 digits up, we find our holy number 108.

0 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 4 + 3 + 7 + 1 + 8 + 9 + 8 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 8 + 1 = 108

This sequence has been independently confirmed by several other scholars. Scott Onstott of www.secretsinplainsight.com and Jain of  www.jainmathemagics.com have both calculated this sequence. I came to find this through my own studies and it should be noteworthy to the reader that due to the fact that this number shows its face time and time again in many different cultures, we can easily conclude that this sequence has been re-discovered by many seekers throughout the ages. Luckily for our current age, this mathematical jewel is beginning to show its face again from the depths of obscurity, just quite possibly to remind us of the harmonious and simplistic nature in which the divine wishes to speak to us.

Metatron’s Cube

The spiral or spiritual nature of the Fibonacci sequence, as it unfolds, wishes to inform us about the cyclical nature of the cosmos. Planets, stars, galaxies, seasons and even life and death itself are cyclical. Since the Fibonacci sequence wishes to inform us about the power of spirals, let’s wrap this sequence around a circle. In doing this, we can connect our starting number ZERO to the numbers in the sequence divisible by 3 with those being 3, 3, 9, 6 and 6. Notice these numbers are separated by three numbers between them, showing us the power of the Trinity within the Fibonacci sequence. Connecting these numbers, we can actually form what is known as the Seal of Solomon or Star of David. We can also construct what is known in sacred geometry as Metatron’s Cube. Metatron is mentioned in the Pseudepigrapha and most prominently in the Hebrew Merkabah Book of Enoch. The book describes the link between Enoch, son of Jared (great grandfather of Noah) and his transformation into the angel Metatron. His grand title was “the lesser YHWH”.

Metatron’s Cube is a two-dimensional geometric figure created from 13 equal circles. 6 circles are placed in a hexagonal pattern around a central circle with 6 more extending out along the same radial lines. It is 12 spheres around 1, reflecting the 12 hours of a clock as well as Jesus and his 12 disciples and the 12 ages of the zodiac around our sun. Metatron’s Cube is considered one of the most holy of the ancient sacred geometrical symbols and one that encodes the 5 Platonic solids. The Platonic solids are the 5 polygons that can be constructed within a sphere and are named after the Greek philosopher Plato. Metatron’s Cube is directly related to the Holy 108 of Phi as shown below.

But this is not the only place we can find our Holy 108!

We can also use the cipher for the English Alphabet to find three key places in which our holy 108 wishes to show its face. Once again, the cipher is shown below.

Since we are dealing with simple mathematics, we can use our cipher on the four basic mathematical principles everyone is well acquainted with, mainly adding subtracting, multiplying and dividing. When we use the cipher on the phrase “ADD, SUBTRACT, MULTIPLY AND DIVIDE” we find it sums to none other than 108.

Quite interesting but is this merely a coincidence?

One of the most prominent angles, the semi-circle, or ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DEGREES finds us at that holy number 108 yet again!

It would seem that the number 108 is hiding just beneath the surface of so many important mathematical principles. In the opinion of this author, this is not a coincidence and invariably shows the occult nature of our reality. Occult means hidden and the mystics and spiritually advanced people of the past absolutely understood that lying just below the thin veneer of our everyday reality exists a beautiful matrix of simple number patterns. By “reading between the lines” of number, one is allowed access to the flowing oceanic numeric tides within the mind of God. Even St. John wanted to tell us about this number in his most cryptic verse:

13:18 – Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Six hundred three score and six translates to the number 666. Using the English cipher, we can find what else was intended, or occulted behind the beastly number 666.

If we add a sphere for the stars at the top and one for the earth at the bottom of the hexagram we get a figure similar to Manley P. Hall's Nine Worlds image below. Hall recommends that this is the form of the Norse Tree of Life, Yggdrasil. Since in the Norse cosmology the earth is at the center and the sun, as the soul's goal, is at the top, this is a geocentric image, but the basic form is the same as the hexagram image above.

  

As you can see there are four markers for the cardinal directions which along with the first nine circles figure to us a 3D Cartesian coordinate grid and the six directions in space , what we call the 'cube of space', or Metatron's Cube (below) which should now be seen in a new light as 13 celestial spheres. If the earth is not the center as in the nine worlds image we need new points as direction markers. And we find them in Ezekiel. A man, a lion, ox and an eagle. And Rev 4 lion calf man eagle which is Aq Leo Taurus and Scorpio. the fixed signs in the zodiac. In the context of the solar system, these represent the four corners.

  

Ezekiel's story about wheels within wheels may just turn out to be an astronomical metaphor illustrated by Metatron's Cube. The sun is located correctly at the center. The new corners are the fixed zodiac signs. Six new spheres have been added to the original hexagram image for a total of thirteen. Metatron's Cube is a heliocentric version of the Nine World's image above.

We read in the Bible that Enoch was the sixth patriarch after Adam and that he lived 365 years (the number of days in a solar year on earth) before he was transported to heaven. Kabbalistic legend tells us that he was transmuted into Archangel Metatron, as in Metatron's Cube. That is, Enoch is the 7th Patriarch (as in 7 spheres) and is associated with the sun; and Metatron's Cube is Enoch's Cube.

In the Southern Jourisdiction of the Scottish Rites the Thirteenth Degree relates to what is called the Royal Arch of Enoch (as in an arch supported by two columns). In this Enoch legend he is instructed to excavate nine chambers featuring nine arches and to hide a white cube bearing a golden triangle inscribed with the name of God. Instead of dealing with the soul's journey alone (as Metatron's Cube appears to) this legend deals with the history of the World/Universe. In Enoch's myth, the cube represents materiality in general (Shekinah), and the golden traingle represents the divine spark inherent in everything. (see Alchemy, Hasidism etc.) The lowest of the nine arcs (ark, arch) in this scheme is the earth. This is the Shekinah story again.

Manley Hall suggests that the nine worlds image relates to the nine stages of the Nordic initiation, the chambers where the rites were performed and the nine divisions of their cosmological template. Albert Pike suggests the same thing of the Enoch legend, that it pointed to a rite with nine stages that was performed literally underground, the form of which was related mathematically to their astronomical template. The logic goes like this: We'll form a club based on the nine planetary spheres, there with will be nine degrees to represent the phases of the souls journey. These numbers and ideas will inform our architecture and ceremonies. Underground chambers symbolize the womb, and nine of them would represent the human gestation period, nine months. The legend is an astronomy learning tool fashioned around the story of human reproduction.

The US Great Seal

 

  

If you look at the configuration of stars above the eagles head on the back of the One Dollar bill, you will see that the central stars are aligned differently than the inner ring of circles in Metatron's Cube. In the cube five circles each are aligned along three axes that cross the center point. In the seal the stars align along lines that connect every other outer point, four on each line. Lines in this configuration never cross the center point. This makes a better representation of a cubic city with 12 gates than the Metatron's Cube arrangement does. The cube features the hexagon and the seal the hexagram (st. of david).

There are 13 layers of stones on the pyramid, 13 stars above the eagle, and nine feathers in the eagle's tail. Overlapping equal circles centered on the same line (vesica pisces) help locate the corners of inscribed triangles and hexagrams. Three overlapping equal circles mark the diameter of a circle 4r or 2d wide, twice the size of the inner circle, as well as the diameters of four 1r wide circles. In the image on the right above we match the small circle at the top of the figure with the circle around the stars above the eagle.

 

  

The model for the seal configuration is twin tetractys of ten points each. (The Pythagoreans named the number 10 tetractys because it was the sum of the first four numbers.) The 13 symbolism in the seal could bear looking at again in light of this finding. 13 can be understood as the sun and 12 zodiac signs, 13 lunar months a year, or nine celestial spheres and the four directions as in Metatron's Cube.

 

The DC map

Looking at the DC map you can see that the pentagram seems to form an isoceles triangle with New Hampshire Ave as the left side. 16th Street provides the center line for that triangle that centers on the WH. Penn Ave runs from NW to SE, from Georgetown to the WH the CB and the East Branch of the Potomac. NYA crosses at the WH as well making the three axes which form the diagonals of the large rectangle in the cube. N St marks the top side of this rect. in the map.

 

  

The five points on 16th St are the top of the triangle, Scott Circle, the WH, the Wash Mmt, and the Jeff Mml. The points on Penn Ave are Georgetown, Washington Cr, The WH, the Nat Archives Bldg., and the Capitol. Nick Mann claims that the DC planners didn't use a hexagonal form for the map, when in fact they used it for both the map and the Great Seal design. They used a hexagon and the pentagon in the map.
