I hope all are doing fine. I am doing some project work these days and I face little confusion about millwork estimation. When I make estimate for doors, trims, cabinets or other custom wood items, sometimes the quantity and material cost not match very well in the final stage. Because every project have different size and finish, so it become little hard for me to calculate everything properly. I want to know how other people handle this type of task. Do you use any simple method, or you follow any fixed steps to make millwork estimate more accurate? I am trying to improve my workflow, so any small advice will be very helpful for me.
