Christopher Ward has unveiled a new selection of four watches to complement their already cult-classic C1 Bel Canto lineup released in 2022. The watches, with their three-dimensional domed design reminiscent of MB&F's half-above/half-below Legacy Machine line, still have a sonnerie au passage chime that dings once an hour as the minute hand passes the top of the hour. Now, they also come with a slightly more classic dial platine in a laser-etched, barleycorn-esque link guilloche pattern.

What I do know is that the watch was one of the few of this reference faux patek philippe watches to be produced in platinum. The case metal is unpolished, something that matters to me. The dial is immaculate, indicating no moisture damage, and the caliber 1014/2 movement is gorgeous, clean, incredibly precise, and wonderfully loud when I wind it every day, fully enjoying such a well-built keyless mechanism. I also adore the original matching platinum Maltese pin buckle, a must-have in my opinion.
