you are referring to Dave's Smith coil In a Rodin coil, there are four electrodes, 2 positive 2 negative; each running + in opposite direction and thus the third emf (the gap) is created thanks to 2 pulsed Dc running in opposite directions   we may have to play on the timing of both pulsed dc, do you want them running at the same time,slight delay etc... __________________ “Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws.” - Confucius.
