En diversos periodos de la historia ha sido tema de especulaciones místicas; probablemente los primeros fueron los Pitagóricos, que la consideraban una figura sagrada. La razón matemática de su anchura (medida por los puntos extremos del "cuerpo", sin incluir la "cola") por su altura fue aproximada por el cociente 265:153. Esta razón, que da 1,73203, se consideró un número sagrado llamado la medida del pez. Exactamente, la razón geométrica de estas dimensiones es la raíz cuadrada de 3, o 1,73205... (ya que si se traza la línea recta que une los centros de ambos círculos, junto con los dos puntos donde los círculos se intersecan, se obtienen dos triángulos equiláteros unidos por un lado). El cociente 265:153 es una aproximación a la raíz cuadrada de 3, y tiene la propiedad de que no se puede obtener ninguna aproximación mejor con números más pequeños. El número 153 aparece en el Evangelio de Juan (21:11) como el número de peces que Jesús hizo que se capturaran en la milagrosa captura de los peces, lo que algunos consideran como una referencia cifrada de las creencias pitagóricas.

INICIACIÓN A LOS NÚMEROS DE LA ARQUITECTURA O DE COMO DARLE FORMA A UN EDIFICIO
Los números pueden estar explicados matemáticamente en la “red” pero el problema que plantea el conocimiento de la arquitectura es: ¿cómo se le da forma con esos números a un edificio?. En arquitectura los números operan a partir de los polígonos estrellados formando concatenaciones, tal y como a continuación vamos a describir.
NÚMERO DE ORO - PENTÁGONO
El número de oro viene dado por la solución a la ecuación de segundo grado
x + x² = 1 x = 1+√5 /2 = 1,618033989
Propiedades 1/ 1,618 = 0,618 1,618... x 1,618... = 2,618...
Dado una circunferencia de radio 1 el lado del decágono inscrito en él es 0,618...
Dado un pentágono de lado 1, las diagonales de ese pentágono = 1,618...
La técnica con la que opera la arquitectura es la de las concatenaciones.
Una de ellas, la más usual, es la que presentamos en el dibujo. Si la circunferencia en color azul tiene R=1 el radio de la roja es R= 2,618, correspondiente a la que presentamos en “El vitruvio” de Leonardo da Vinci en la portada de este trabajo.
Se aplicará en la restitución de una tabla de F. Brunelleschi Nº 6.
 
NÚMERO DE PLATA - EL OCTÓGONO
Así como el número de oro está asociado a la √5 el número de plata está asociado a √2 y presenta una serie de propiedades similares a las del número de oro.
√2 = 1,414213562 tg. 22,5º = 0,414213562
tg.67,5º = 2,414213562
1/2,4142... = 0,4142... 2,4142... x 1,4142... = 3,4142...
Observa nuevamente la concatenación, esta vez con el octógono, de la circunferencia en color azul sobre la de color rojo.
Si el radio de la circunferencia azul es 1 la de color rojo es 2,4142....
Si el radio de la circunferencia azul es 0,4142... la de rojo es 1.
Aquí tenéis un ejemplo.

NÚMERO DE PLATINO - EL HEXÁGONO
De igual forma que el número de oro está relacionado con la √5 y el de plata con la √2, el de platino lo va a estar con la √3

1,732... x 2,732... = 4,732...
Combinación, esta, muy utilizada por Andrea Palladio.
Observa la concatenación de la circunferencia azul sobre la de rojo, a través del hexágono, directamente a la circunferencia azul. Si el radio de la circunferencia color azul es 1 el de la circunferencia en color rojo es 2 y el lado del triángulo inscrito es 2 x 1,732...
Este polígono es el más prolífico en la historia de arquitectura como vamos a verlo en los ejercicios.

PART 4 - THE GREAT PYRAMID AND THE 30th PARALLEL
|
This circle has a different orientation than the previous diagrams and is two inches in diameter.
The horizontal axis is the Equator, FC is the 30th parallel, D is 60� North latitude and E is the North Pole.
The 30th parallel is exactly one-third of the great circle distance from the Equator to the North Pole, and it is located at exactly one-half of the height of the Northern Hemisphere.
Like the Great Pyramid, the maximum latitude of the line of ancient sites is very close to the 30th parallel.

This diagram illustrates that the relationship of the 30th parallel to the circumference of the Earth is the geometric relationship known as the Vesica Pisces.
In relation to the lower circumference, DE is at 30� N latitude.
In relation to the upper circumference, DE is at 30� S latitude.
The ratio between the straight line distance of the 30th parallel and the radius of the Earth is 1.732 to one. 1.732 is the square root of three.

The Greek foot is thought to have been developed before the size and shape of the Earth was known and independently from the foot, which is also thought to have been developed before the size and shape of the Earth was known. The foot is 87% of the length of the Greek foot.
The mile, which is thought to have been developed before the size and shape of the Earth was known, is 87% of the length of the nautical mile, which was developed specifically in relation to the size of the Earth. The currently accepted value for the Equatorial diameter of the Earth is 7,926 miles, with an Equatorial radius of 3,963 miles. The ratio of the radius of the Earth to the straight line distance through the Earth at the 30th parallel is 1:1.732.
3,963 miles x 1.732 = 6,864 miles (the straight line distance through the Earth at the 30th parallel).
6,864 miles x pi = 21,564 miles (the circumference of the Earth at the 30th parallel).
21,564 miles � 360 degrees = 59.9 miles (one degree of longitude at the 30th parallel).
59.9 miles � 60 minutes = .998 miles (one minute of longitude at the 30th parallel).
As an alternative proof, the currently accepted value for the Equatorial circumference of the Earth is 24,902 miles, and the circumference of the 30th parallel is 87% of the circumference of the Earth.
24,902 miles x .87 = 21,664 miles (the circumference of the Earth at the 30th parallel).
21,664 miles � 360 degrees = 60.1 miles (one degree of longitude at the 30th parallel).
60.1 miles � 60 = 1.00 miles (one minute of longitude at the 30th parallel).
Conclusion: One minute of longitude equals one mile at (or, like the Great Pyramid, just below) the 30th parallel.

   Se da curiosamente la relacion 3/11 y tambien 7/11. ¿PORQUE LA RELACION GIZE CON EL 11/SEPTIEMBRE=11/7 y con el 3/11? Segun un comentarista en INTERNET, INDIGO MEROVINGIO EL 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE ES LA ESCALERA DE JACOB. ¿PERO EN QUE BASA EL DICHA PREMISA? Sabemos que el 11 de Septiembre es el AÑO NUEVO COPTO, un CALENDARIO DE ORIGEN ANCESTRAL que se usa en la IGLESIA COPTA, con SEDE DE EGIPTO CUYO PATRIARCA ES JUAN MARCOS. Sabemos por la historia que el mismo predico en ETIOPIA. ¿PERO PORQUE ASTRONOMICAMENTE EL 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE ESTA RELACIONADO CON LA ESCALERA DE JACOB? Si consideramos la relacion entre el CALENDARIO GREGORIANO (7/11 ,9/11 Y 11/11) que son los dias 311, 313 y 315 del mismo en el contexto a que en el CALENDARIO COPTO, insisto, en el contexto a que el 11 de septiembre es el primer dia del mismo, llegamos a la asombrosa interrelacion de que el (18/7, 20/7 y 22/7 (DIA DE MARIA LA MAGDALENA SEGUN LA IGLESIA CATOLICA) tambien son el 311, 313 y 315. Noten que la LLEGADA A LA LUNA ESTA EN LA CLAVE, EN EL CONTEXTO A QUE LA MISMA FUE JUSTAMENTE UN 20 DE JULIO. ¿CUAL ES EL MISTERIO DETRAS DE DICHA INTERRELACION?
La alquimia, matematicamente, es una referencia a la CUADRATURA DEL CIRCULO O CUBICACION DE UNA ESFERA entre otros. Observamos la relacion DE LA LUNA Y LA TIERRA EN FUNCION A DICHO PATRON. YHWH OBVIAMENTE DISEÑO LA LUNA=MON=MOON en FUNCION A LA ALQUIMIA/ESCALERA DE JACOB.

Esfinge de Gizeh en el equinoccio de primavera
La anotación de los periódos del año, equinoccios y solsticios, es importantísimo para la fijación del calendario anual, y para el seguimiento y datación de la precesión de los equinoccios, como veremos más adelante.
Equinoccios y Solsticios.
Vamos a ver en imágenes como se producía esta anotación en función de la esfinge de Gizeh.
1. Equinoccio de primavera. Durante el equinoccio de primavera, el 21 de Marzo, el Sol sale justo por el Este durante 2 días.
2. Solsticio de Verano.
Actualmente, cada 19 de junio del calendario gregoriano, la Nave Tierra en la que viajamos se coloca en el punto de su órbita en el que cruza por la línea que une al Sol y al centro de la Galaxia, es decir, que el planeta se coloca entre dos centros cósmicos: el centro del Sistema solar (el Sol) y el común a todas las estrellas, el Centro de la Galaxia. El centro del Ser galáctico es el punto de referencia fundamental para nuestra orientación en un Espacio en el que no existen fechas ni horas, y por ello es un "vacío terrible" para la mente acostumbrada a "marcapasos".
Teniendo en cuenta que el Sol (Sistema solar, y con él las órbitas de los planetas como la Tierra) gira alrededor de otro centro como puede ser el propio centro galáctico, y que los calendarios son estructuras mentales estáticas no vivientes y por ello incapaces de adaptarse a la dinámica de los movimientos de los astros en el Espacio, es fácil imaginar que hace 2000 años (por ejemplo) esta circunstancia ocurriera en otra fecha, en tal caso de hace 2000 años el 24 de mayo. Pero para los astros no existen nuestras fechas sino sus movimientos circulares y sus alineaciones que se producen cíclicamente en el infinito EspacioTiempo (88) del Ser universal. Sus astros (sus reflejos, sus señales, nuestros guías) son los puentes para la reintegración de nuestra conciencia en la dinámica universal. Los calendarios, al ser estáticos, "congelan" la conciencia, y se hacen útiles sólo para una existencia lineal con una esperanza media de 70 años (tal es la duración media de una persona moderna).
Durante el solsticio de verano, el 21 de Junio, el Sol salía por el Noreste a 28º a la izquierda de la visión de la esfinge.
3. Equinoccio de Otoño. Durante el equinoccio de otoño, el 21 de Septiembre, el Sol salía justo por el Este durante 2 días.
4. Solsticio de invierno. Durante el solsticio de invierno, el 21 de Diciembre, el Sol salía a 28º Sureste de la visión de la esfinge.

Hipercubo o teseracto
Si para los físicos la cuarta dimensión está representada por el tiempo, en el mundo de las matemáticas esas dos palabras tienen una connotación muy distinta. La geometría euclidiana prevé una o más dimensiones por encima de nuestro mundo en 3D en forma de teoría matemática. Esto es, aparte de las tres dimensiones conocidas (altura, anchura y profundidad), se supone como mínimo otra dimensión más, la cuarta en discordia, que cumpliría perfectamente las propiedades cartesianas, es decir, sería perpendicular a las otras tres y partiría de un origen de coordenadas común.
Nosotros no podemos siquiera imaginar cómo sería el mundo en 4D, porque estamos recluidos en un universo de sólo tres dimensiones. Si partimos de un sistema de coordenadas en el espacio 3D, tenemos un eje X que representa la anchura, un eje Y que es la altura y un eje Z que representa la profundidad. La cuarta dimensión vendría simbolizada por un hipotético eje W que, como decíamos antes, sería perpendicular a X, Y y Z. Algo que con nuestra mente es imposible comprenderlo porque pensamos y vemos en tres dimensiones. Pero ello no quiere decir que no exista una cuarta dimensión, sino simplemente que no podemos verla.
Imagina por un momento que no eres una persona, eres un cuadrado habitante de Planilandia, la genial novela de Edwin A. Abbott. Los cuadrados viven en el plano y sólo tienen dos dimensiones (ancho y largo), no conocen nada más. Un día, aparece volando por el espacio 3D (que tú no comprendes) un cubo y te saluda. Como él está por encima de ti y no concibes el concepto de altura, prácticamente creerás que te estás volviendo majareta.
Para hacerse visible, el cubo decide posarse sobre tu plano 2D. En ese momento tú verás surgir de repente un cuadrado a tu lado y te darás un susto inmenso, pues no sabes por dónde ni de dónde ha aparecido. Después de hablar unos minutos con él, le preguntas a ver por qué demonios se llama a sí mismo cubo, cuando lo que ves es un simple cuadrado como tú. Él te intentará explicar que lo que estás visualizando es una proyección de su figura 3D sobre tu mundo en dos dimensiones, e intentará proyectarse de manera inclinada, atravesando tu suelo, para ver si te haces una idea de su forma real. La imagen que tú verás en ese momento será la siguiente.
Cubo proyectado en un plano
No comprendes nada. Lo que antes era un cuadrado ahora se ha transformado en dos cuadrados que se cruzan y que tienen líneas inclinadas que unen sus vértices. No sabes mirar más allá del plano.
Vuelve al mundo real; eres una persona otra vez. De la misma forma que el cuadrado nunca podría imaginarse cómo es un cubo porque desconoce lo que es la tercera dimensión, nosotros no podemos comprender los elementos que componen la cuarta. Sabemos perfectamente que la proyección de un cubo sobre un plano genera una figura como la anterior, con unas líneas más largas y otras más cortas y ángulos diferentes. Sin embargo, podemos afirmar con total seguridad que en un cubo todas sus aristas son de igual longitud y todos sus ángulos son rectos (90º) porque vivimos en un mundo tridimensional y podemos palpar un cubo.
De la misma manera, geométricamente se puede demostrar la existencia de los llamados hipercubos (o teseractos) en cuatro dimensiones. Desde que vi, hace ya años, la segunda parte de la película Cube (Cube 2: Hypercube), los hipercubos se han metido en mi cabeza y ya no los puedo sacar de ahí. Es, probablemente, la figura más hermosa desde el punto de vista matemático y más quimérica desde el de la vida real. Por cierto, la primera de Cube es una de mis obras maestras cinematográficas de culto; no así tanto la segunda y la tercera.
La imagen que encabeza este post es la de un hipercubo. Bueno, técnicamente es la proyección de un hipercubo sobre nuestro espacio tridimensional. Aunque si queremos rizar más el rizo, como lo estás viendo en una imagen plana en la pantalla de tu ordenador, diríamos que es la proyección plana 2D de la proyección espacial 3D de un hipercubo en 4D. Vaya lío, madre mía.
Si cogemos un cuadrado y lo proyectamos en el espacio, dándole altura, conseguimos un cubo. Si proyectamos un cubo hacia el espacio de cuatro dimensiones conseguimos un hipercubo. El teseracto se considera un cubo desfasado en el tiempo, es decir, cada instante de tiempo por el cual se movió pero todos ellos juntos. Por supuesto no podemos ver un teseracto en la cuarta dimensión, porque vivimos solo en tres con la limitación mental de nuestros cerebros.
Al igual que le pasaba al cuadrado de Planilandia, vemos unas líneas más largas que otras y ángulos diversos en su proyección, sin embargo el hibercubo tiene todas sus aristas iguales y todos sus ángulos rectos. Además lo que hay entre el cubo interior y el cubo exterior son más cubos, todos ellos tan rectos y cúbicos como los tridimensionales. El teseracto tiene 16 vértices, 32 aristas, 24 caras y 8 células (éstas serían el equivalente a los cubos tridimensionales).
Lo que sí podemos hacer es desdoblar el teseracto tetradimensional para trasladarlo a nuestro espacio tridimensional. De la misma manera que somos capaces de cortar las aristas de un cubo y desdoblarlo en un plano bidimensional obteniendo una suerte de cruz latina formada por seis cuadrados, si hacemos lo mismo con un hipercubo el resultado es una cruz 3D de ocho cubos (células).
Cubo e hipercubo desdoblados
Lo que ya no podemos imaginar es ese engendro doblado sobre sí mismo, por la incapacidad ya comentada de comprender un espacio en cuatro dimensiones. Si tienes la mente muy abierta y necesitas un buen dolor de cabeza, la siguiente figura muestra el orden en el que deben coincidir las caras de los distintos cubos para conseguir el teseracto. Por supuesto, teniendo en cuenta que todas las aristas deben medir lo mismo y que todos los ángulos deben ser rectos. Algo imposible para nuestras cabezas de chorlito tridimensional.
Orden para doblar un hipercubo
De la misma forma en que existen figuras geométricas en un supuesto mundo de cuatro dimensiones, ¿quién nos puede a nosotros asegurar que no existan otro tipo de manifestaciones “inteligentes” en él? Llámalo ente, alma, energía, mente o como quieras. Es posible que en un espacio tetradimensional haya entidades que sólo algunos de entre nosotros podemos ver bajo determinadas circunstancias y cuando se proyectan sobre nuestro espacio 3D. Es posible que los llamados fantasmas no sean más que seres 4D que están siempre ahí pero que no podemos ver más que cuando invaden nuestro espacio y que nos pegan terribles sustos como al pobre cuadrado cuando el cubo aparece de sopetón en su plano.
En fin, ese tema se lo dejamos a Iker Jiménez y a su parienta y nosotros nos quedamos con la versión matemática y geométrica del asunto que es mucho más factible.
Hasta el propio Dalí, que estaba un poco zumbado del bolo (sólo hay que ver sus cuadros), dibujó un hipercubo en una de sus obras, Corpus hipercubicus.

Para terminar, os dejo un vídeo en el que el conocido astrónomo y divulgador científico Carl Sagan explica todo lo anterior de una forma más gráfica que un servidor. Vale la pena echarle un vistazo e invertir 7 minutos de nuestro tiempo para intentar comprender un poco mejor lo que la cuarta dimensión representa podría representar.

¿Que es la Cuarta Dimensión? No es simple establecer que es la 4ª Dimensión o también llamada la 4ª Densidad (4D), ya que se escapa a nuestra percepción natural. Sin embargo, a fin de comprender mejor, existen dos teorías muy famosas que fundamentan la existencia de la 4 Dimensión, una de ella esta basada en la ciencia matemática o la otra en la física relativista. La Cuarta Dimensión en matemáticas Para esta ciencia , las tres dimensiones con las que se mide un objeto material en el espacio son: la altitud, la longitud y la latitud. La cuarta dimensión, por lo tanto, seria la dirección con ángulo recto de esas tres direcciones observables, figura llamada teseracto o hipercubo. Thanks to Gabriel for asking me if the Cologne / Bonn airport is an Illuminati site. Here it is, you decide:
Yes those are hexagonal terminals and the airport building surrounds a pentagon, suggesting a 6:5 relationship that I have written about many times.

A pentagonal sign advertising UPS is located at the middle of the pentagonal parking lot. The hexagonal terminals are quite interesting. Strange to see 2 Stars of David in the airport serving the former German capital.
One could make the case that stars are good shapes to space out gates except for the fact that one arm is not used, so the design-for-function argument kind of falls apart.
The center of the terminals suggests Metatron’s hypercube:

Having just finished my post on Magic of Holly Wood which led me to Babylon, and seeing this ziggurat I wondered if there was a relationship.
The distance from the original location of the Ishtar Gate in Babylon to the end of the Cologne / Bonn airport’s runway 32R is 3600 km. The sum of the numbers 1 through 36 is 666.
Cologne Airport is host of the German and European space agencies DLR and EAC, part of ESA, which train astronauts there for space explorations. Apart from that, Cologne Airport is one of NASA’s worldwide 19 non-American Space Shuttle abort landing sites. -Source
I discovered Berlin’s Tegel airport some time ago and noticed that it had an interesting shape:
At Tegel I find another pair of hexagons and another suggested hypercube. The real Ishtar gate was moved to the Pergamon Museum in Berlin in the 1930s. Again I measured the distance from the original location of the Ishtar Gate in Babylon to Berlin and there weren’t any significant numbers at the Pergamon museum.
However the distance from the Ishtar Gate in Babylon to what looks like an obelisk at the center of the hexagonal terminal at Tegel is 3303 km for whatever that’s worth.
Tegel airport will be closing on 3 June 2012, the day the new Berlin Brandenburg airport is scheduled to open. The only thing I notice about the Brandenburg airport is that “during the construction of the new airport, some 3,300,000 long tons of concrete will be used.” -Source
Again I’m not sure how significant that is but I notice the numbers.
Another airport that is undoubtedly very significant is the Denver International Airport (DIA) in Colorado.
Here are the numbers:
- At over 33,000 acres DIA is by far the largest land area commercial airport in the United States. It is the 11th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic.
- Once fully built out, DIA should be able to handle 110 million passengers per year, up from 32 million at its opening.
- 110 million cubic yards of earth have been moved, way more than usually required to build an airport.
What shape do you see? Think Germany in the 1930s. These airport patterns are visible only from high above the earth where birds, pilots, satellites, and sky gods perceive them.

Mustang, by New Mexico artist Luis Jiménez, was one of the earliest public art commissions for Denver International Airport in 1993. Standing at 32 feet tall and weighing 9,000 pounds, “Mustang” is a blue cast-fiberglass sculpture with red shining eyes located between the inbound and outbound lanes of the entrance to the airport. Jiménez died in 2006 while creating the sculpture when the head of it fell on him and severed an artery in his leg. -Source

A giant statue of Anubis, god of the dead, the desert, and darkness was erected at DIA in preparation for the King Tut exhibit. Anubis is said to be a son of Set (depicted as the Typhonic beast), who is the god of darkness and chaos.

The letter in the lower right corner is an actual letter written by a Hama Herchenberg, 14 years old, that died December 18, 1943 in the Auschwitz Concentration camp.
Here is the masonic corner stone marker that claims to have been laid by the New World Airport Commission, which doesn’t actually exist.

As part of the master plan update, the airport announced selection of Parson’s transportation group to design a new hotel, rail station and two bridges leading into the main terminal. Santiago Calatrava has been selected as the architect for the project. -Source

The new World Trade Center is loaded with secrets in plain sight. My previous post was on the Freedom Tower which is WTC 1 in the following site plan:

Here’s a brief accounting of the WTC towers:

Do you notice that there is no WTC6? There used to be a WTC 6 before 9/11 but they aren’t rebuilding its namesake. Don’t you wonder why?
 The Pleiades by Elihu Vedder (1885)
In Greek mythology, the Pleiades were seven sisters: Maia, Electra, Alcyone, Taygete, Asterope, Celaeno and Merope.
However only six stars in the Pleiades constellation are distinctly visible to the naked eye. The Japanese name for the Pleiades is Subaru, which in Japanese translates into “to govern.” World trade and the corporations that centralize it truly govern the world.
The Subaru car maker uses the six visible stars of the Pleiades as its logo:
The ancient Greeks explained the sudden disappearance of the seventh star in various narratives. According to one, all the Pleiades were consorts to gods, with the exception of Merope. She deserted her sisters in shame, having taken a mortal husband, Sisyphus, the King of Corinth. Another explanation for the ‘lost’ star related to the myth of the Electra, an ancestress of the royal house of Troy. After the destruction of Troy, the grief stricken Electra abandoned her sisters and was transformed into a comet – everafter to be a sign of impending doom. -Source
The above reminds me of the PATH of Comet Elenin which reaches perihelion on 9/11/11 and whose tail will come closest to the Earth on 11/11/11. I recommend listening to Richard Hoagland on this subject.
Perhaps the 9/11 Memorial entitled Reflecting Absence symbolizes the missing Pleiadian sister?
There is more to the Pleiadian mythos that is worth understanding:
The Pleiades were the virgin companions of Artemis, to the ancient Greeks, the goddess of hunting and the Moon. Whilst stalking a hind [deer], the great hunter Orion crept into a sunlit glade, disturbing the innocent play of the sisters. They fled in alarm.
His immoderate passions enflamed by their beauty and grace, he pursued them relentlessly, as was fitting for the greatest mortal hunter. In frustration, Artemis pleaded with Zeus for his intervention. With characteristic olympian sarcasm, he did.
As the hunter closed in on his prey, Zeus transformed the sisters into a flock of doves. They flew into the heavens, beyond the reach of their pursuer, but also removed from earthly companionship with the goddess! -Source
The word Pleiades comes from the Greek peleiades which means flock of doves. Speaking of, the World Trade Center Transportation Hub is nested between WTC 2 and WTC 3.

Calatrava’s Transportation Hub replaces a temporary PATH station that had to be built after the underground system was destroyed on 9/11. The temporary station put two uptown services into operation: Newark–33rd Street (red) and Hoboken–33rd Street (blue).
The underground part of the new PATH hall will look like this:
The RISING special says, “PATH Hall sits directly below Memorial Plaza and consists of a spine with 25 vertebrae connecting 275 extending ribs.”
Fellow researcher Mark Gray points out that Swans have 25 cervical vertebrae. And 275 / 25 = 11
In the name of security, Santiago Calatrava’s bird has grown a beak. Its ribs have doubled in number and its wings have lost their interstices of glass…. The main transit hall, between Church and Greenwich Streets, will almost certainly lose some of its delicate quality, while gaining structural expressiveness. It may now evoke a slender stegosaurus more than it does a bird. -Source
Most researchers now support the view that birds are a group of theropod dinosaurs. The Transportation Hub looks to me like a monumental reptilian eye. Check out the Reptilian Agenda for another deep dark rabbit hole.
The Wedge of Light
Daniel Liebeskind won the competition to be the master plan architect for the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site. Liebeskind’s buildings include the Jewish Museum in Berlin, the Danish Jewish Museum in Copenhagen, the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco, the Wohl Centre in Israel, and the Imperial War Museum North in the UK.
Liebeskind’s concept for WTC2, called the “wedge of light,” states that no shadows shall be cast on the memorial park on September 11th. Lord Foster designed the top of the building like a wedge with four rhombi at the top.
Speaking of the Pleiades, shadows, and Lords:
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. -Amos 5:8

The Transportation Hall was also supposedly designed so at the exact time the second tower collapsed, every Sept. 11th at 10:28am, the sun enters the transportation hub illuminating the building with light.
However Eli Attia, an architect who has been a frequent critic of the rebuilding process, published a study showing that 40 percent to 99 percent of the Wedge of Light would be in shadow cast by the Millenium Hilton Hotel during the times when Mr. Libeskind had said it would be free of shadows.
Mr. Libeskind won the enthusiastic support of both Gov. George E. Pataki and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg with his design, and Mr. Pataki ensured Mr. Libeskind’s selection for the ground zero commission when he overruled a committee of directors of the development corporation, which had recommended the selection of the other finalist, a group of architects known as Think. -Source
This situation reminds me of how I.M. Pei was selected for the Louvre Pyramid design without a competition and then how Mitterand stepped in and selected Johann Otto von Spreckelsen to be the architect of the La Grande Arche even though he wasn’t winning the national design competition for the megaproject. Sometimes competitions are a necessary sham when secret architecture has long been in the pipeline.
“Richard Meier, the eminent architect who participated in the ground zero design competition — and who therefore lost to Mr. Libeskind — disagreed [with the fact that shadows fall on the wedge of light]. ”How could you not take it literally?” he asked. ”He didn’t say that the sun would be reflected off buildings and that illumination would somehow create a wedge of light.’
Terence Riley, the chief curator for the department of architecture and design at the Museum of Modern Art, took a historical view. ”Given the long history of solar orientation in architectural design, I don’t suppose it is unreasonable for people to have assumed that the Wedge of Light would be illuminated by direct sunlight on Sept. 11,” he said. -Source
Light is obviously very important to this mega-ritual in the making. Mark Gray discovered one more timely piece of the puzzle:
On 9-11-11 at sunset, the famous “Tribute in Light” will return to the skies above New York City for the night. The tribute is comprised of “88” 7,000-watt xenon light bulbs, arranged in 48-foot squares inspired by the shape and orientation of the Twin Towers. The illuminated memorial reaches four miles into the sky and is visible from as far as 30 miles away. The two arrays cast the strongest shaft of light ever projected from Earth into the night sky. -Source

The Tribute in Light ought to get the light bearer’s attention, don’t you think?
Grant Chamberlin pointed out in a comment on this post that the 88 light bulbs in the Tribute in Light might be significant. This is another dark rabbit hole, but if we are to be whole and healthy we must have the courage to look into our shadows.
The 8s stand for the eighth letter of the alphabet (H), with ‘HH’ standing for “Heil Hitler”. -Source
The phrase “Heil Hitler” was inspired by a statement, 88 words in length, from Volume 1, Chapter 8 of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf:

Another such illuminist monument was called the Cathedral of Light:

The cathedral of light was a main aesthetic feature of the Nuremberg Rallies. It was the brainchild of Albert Speer, who was commissioned by Adolf Hitler to design and organise the Nuremberg Parade Grounds for the annual celebrations. It is still considered amongst Speer’s most important works.
The effect was a brilliant one, both from within the design and on the outside. -Source
The primary aspect of the Nuremberg Rallies was to strengthen the personality cult of Adolf Hitler, portraying Hitler as Germany’s saviour, chosen by providence. The gathered masses listened to the Führer’s speeches, swore loyalty and marched before him. Representing the Volksgemeinschaft as a whole, the rallies served to demonstrate the might of the German people.
The visitors of the rallies by their own free will were subordinate to the discipline and order in which they should be reborn as a new people. -Source
The Cathedral of Christ the Light also resonates with this post:

The worship space in Christ the Light is a vesica pisces shape, the shape formed by the intersection of two circles [symbol of the female generative organs]. The walls are composed of overlapping panels of wood and glass rising skyward to form the vault, much like the scales of a fish.
The Catholic Cathedral Corporation of the East Bay instituted a design competition for Christ the Light. Various designs were judged and the corporation announced Santiago Calatrava (architect of the PATH Transportation Hall and Sundial Bridge) as the winner. Calatrava’s design for Christ the Light was chosen before a site was appropriated for the project.
However, by the time a site was chosen, Calatrava’s design fell out of favor and instead replaced by a design of competition runner-up Craig W. Hartman, FAIA of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). -Source
SOM designed WTC1 (the Freedom Tower) and the new WTC7.
Consider these provocative coincidences:
Joseph Ratzinger joined the Hitler Youth in 1941 when, according to him and his supporters, it became compulsory for all German boys. Millions of Germans were in a position similar to that of Joseph Ratzinger and his family, so why spend so much time focusing on him? Because he is no longer merely Joseph Ratzinger, or even a Catholic Cardinal — he is now Pope Benedict XVI. None of the other Germans who joined the Hitler Youth, were part of the military in Nazi Germany, lived near a concentration camp, and watched Jews being rounded up for death camps has ever become pope. -Source
Pope Benedict prayed for “eternal light and peace” at ground zero on a black square pool on the 111th day of the year (2008 was a leap year).
On September 11th there are 111 days remaining until the end of the year. The original Twin Towers had 111 floors if you count the roof. See my post on 110-111.

The distance from the center of the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Customs House (built over the location of the original Fort Amsterdam) to the center of the Freedom Tower is exactly 1000 meters.
The distance from the corner of Reflecting Absence (former WTC North Tower) to the center of the Customs House is 888 meters.
The elliptical glass (see Ellipses) in the rotunda has 88 rays.

Eighty-eight (88) symbolizes fortune and good luck since the word 8 sounds similar to the word Fā (发, which implies 发财, or wealth, in Mandarin). The number 8 is considered to be the luckiest number of all in Chinese culture and prices in Chinese supermarkets can often be found containing many 8′s The Chinese government has even been auctioning auto license plates containing many 8s for tens of thousands of dollars. The 2008 Beijing Olympics opened on 8/8/08 at 8 p.m.. -Source

Jan Thulstrup uncovered an amazing connection in Psalm 119 which is the longest chapter in the Bible.
119 is the mirror reflection of 911.
Psalm 119 has 176 verses. 176 = 88 + 88. 176 is an octagonal number.
Psalm 119 is divided into twenty-two stanzas, one stanza for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Each stanza begins with the corresponding letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
Each stanza has 8 verses, composed as octaves (from the Latin octo meaning “eight”) in music.

Comparing the Arks of Utnapishtim and Noah
Despite remarkable similarities with the Biblical flood story, the Epic of Gilgamesh runs a distant second place in the huge list of flood legends from around the world. The Genesis account appears to give an accurate description of a genuine vessel.

The Epic of Gilgamesh and the Biblical account of Noah's flood have a lot of similarities. This is no surprise since they are both retelling the same event of history - a worldwide flood. But like thousands of flood legends around the world, the Gilgamesh story seems to have suffered from poor record keeping. See if you can tell what's wrong.
Let's look at each vessel. Here they are - drawn to scale using the same cubit length of 0.5m. (See Noah's Cubit)

There's a good chance the Gilgamesh storyteller got his icons confused - rumor has it that a certain tower in Babylon was built on a square base. Yet some modern scholars want you to think the Noah story grew out of Babylonian mess-ups like this.
Noah's Ark
1. Stability (will it capsize?)
The breadth to depth ratio is famous of course. Everyone knows 1.67 B/D works very well and is quite normal for a cargo ship. This is an important factor for roll stability but also has a bearing on the seakeeping. Increasing the width will provide even more stability, but at a cost - roll accelerations can increase to uncomfortable and even dangerous levels.

Cross-section amidships for a 19,000 tonne cargo vessel. 528.5 x 76 x 44.5 feet. (161 x 23 x 13.6 m). The B/D ratio is 1.708, very similar to the ark at 1.667. Notice the rectangular shape - like most modern ships.

2. Strength (will it break?)
The length to depth (L/D) ratio dominates the strength properties of the hull. Too long and shallow and the ship might break in half (or leak badly) due to the bending applied by the waves. The KRISO based study indicated a 30cm (12 inches) timber hull and 40cm structure would be sufficient for waves up to 30m high. (Significant wave height).
3. Seakeeping (motions of the vessel at sea)
Noah's Ark has very good proportions for a ship. Naval Architects at the world class KRISO facility conducted a study on Noah's Ark and found the vessel's proportions to be near optimal. The 6:1 length to breadth ratio (L/B) is a little wider than today's vessels designed to move forward quicky, but it provides increased stability for a drifting vessel. A longer vessel has disadvantages for stability and seakeeping as the US Navy discovered.

The DD-963 built in the 1970s had an L/B of 10. The Bales Seakeeping Index [4] was developed because the US was concerned about it's ships' seakeeping. The outgrowth of this was the DDG-51 with an L/B of 7.8. It is an excellent seakeeper.

Comparing Utnapishtim’s Ark.
1. Stability (will it capsize?)
Compared to the 50:30 ratio of the cross-section of Noah's Ark, the Gilgamesh cube is naturally less stable. Using the typical mass center at 0.4D from the bottom, it is clear the square vessel must tilt a long way before the righting moment begins to take full effect.
The Gilgamesh Ark with it B=D is an inferior design from a stability standpoint. However, in a direct comparison between the two vessels, the capsize risk of of the cube is compensated by it's supertanker size. With enough ballast, the cube is potentially quite stable - being equally capsize resistant in any wave direction.

Seems OK...
With enough ballast a cube is not easily capsized.
Looking more like on oversize buoy than any ship known to man, the Gilgamesh ark has the potential to survive waves from any direction.
The big loser is seakeeping. Passengers will get no relief from the vigorous accelerations - roll, pitch, yaw, heave, surge and sway. In a gentle sea, these motions would be uncomfortable but when it gets rough these accelerations could be lethal.

There is not much length to generate hull bending stress in the Gilgamesh cube. In fact, the wave bending moment will be so small compared to the section modulus that water pressure loads will dominate. This is a waste, the spare bending capacity is not utilized.
Wave bending moment
The wave bending moment is 22 700 tfm (ABS rules) compared to 93000 tfm for Noah's Ark. (Applied bending is 25% of Noah's Ark). Assuming the same wood thickness, the section modulus is far greater because the depth is 4D and width of the cube is 2.4B. Since sectional modulus is proportional to B * D2, it is 38 times stronger.
Stress is the bending / section modulus, or 0.25 / 38 = 154. The Gilgamesh cube is 154 times more resistant to bending than the Biblical ark. Obviously bending is not a problem.
This would indicate we could use paper thin walls, but there's a catch. The hull still has to handle water pressure loads (which will be higher now), and Noah's hull wall could only span 3 or 4m between supports. This suited the shape of Noah's Ark because the bending matched the water pressure loading. (See Frame Spacing). But in this case, the submerged depth is much greater, making the water pressure on the lowest deck 4 times as high. Now, instead of having thinner walls than Noah's Ark we have to go thicker.
So while bending is not an issue, there is still water pressure loads to contend with - so no great saving in wood thickness.
3. Seakeeping (motions of the vessel at sea)
The cube is already noted to roll significantly before restoring forces begin to arrest the tilting motion. The Korean study investigated shorter hull shapes, the nearest to a cube behind hull #5. Guess which hull had the worst seakeeping performance? (Hint: Look for a 1.000 in the Norm SK column).

Accelerations are high in hull #5 which means the passengers get knocked over or seasick. On the Gilgamesh ark they will be lucky to stay in one piece. A few waves would make the upper decks un-inhabitable. No solutions are apparent for ventilation and lighting.

Who do you think made up Noah's Ark?
Biblical Christians believe Moses compiled the story from records that included God's accurate specifications for the ark. God may also have told some things to Moses directly.
The JEDPR advocates (liberals) say J got the story from the Babylonians. Maybe they think P or R were naval architects somewhat above their peers.
The rest must believe Moses wrote Genesis but the Ark is exaggerated. Maybe they think Moses spent those 40 years in the desert fixing up the Babylonian legends !

It is popular to report Noah’s Ark as an embellished tale of a local flood, claiming it came from stories like the Epic of Gilgamesh. This assertion makes no sense, and requires the Jewish storytellers to bend the yarn into a description of a vessel designed by a modern naval architect. (Unlike Noah, the Jews were never known for their prowess as shipbuilders.)
While our modern interpretations of Noah's Ark may need some adjustment along the way, the Biblical specifications have no glaring errors. This is no surprise if Genesis is real history as the Bible makes out.
