Techno aesthete Jobs personally designed the 32-foot-by-32-foot box that will mark the store’s entrance on the Fifth Avenue plaza (formerly home to a T.G.I.Friday’s). “Steve Jobs felt that he created the cube so he owned it,” says Apple broker Robert Futterman, noting that Macklowe wanted it to stay put. “At the eleventh hour, that was the biggest issue.” Macklowe had aggressively wooed Jobs, flying out to California twice and offering well below market rent of $1,000 per square foot for the 24,000-square-foot store set to open in the spring. At the end of the twenty-year lease, Jobs must replace the cube with a comparable structure before hauling it off. Apple didn’t return calls, and Macklowe declined to comment. El Apple Park es la sede de la empresa multinacional de tecnología Apple, ubicada en el número 1 de la Apple Park Way en la localidad de Cupertino (California), Estados Unidos. El complejo se abrió a los trabajadores de la empresa en abril de 2017, aunque las obras no han terminado. Sus instalaciones de investigación y desarrollo son el lugar de trabajo de unas 2000 personas y reemplazan al cuartel general de la compañía en el Apple Campus de la misma localidad, que abrió en 1993.6
La planta circular del edificio principal y sus enormes dimensiones han llevado a que popularmente se lo conozca como la «nave espacial».789 Ubicado en una parcela de 71 ha., en el enorme edificio circular de cuatro plantas de altura y 260 000 m² trabajan en total 12 000 personas. Steve Jobs quiso que el Apple Park se asemejara más a un refugio natural que a un complejo de oficinas y por eso el 80 % del terreno son zonas verdes en las que crecen árboles y plantas xerófilas propias de la zona de Cupertino, mientras que el jardín central cuenta con un gran estanque artificial.9
Construcción[editar]
El proyecto del Apple Park fue anunciado por Steve Jobs a las autoridades de Cupertino en 2006.10 El edificio fue concebido por el propio Jobs y por el arquitecto británico Norman Foster. El proyecto fue aprobado por el ayuntamiento en noviembre de 201311 y al año siguiente comenzaron las obras del complejo en un terreno situado a menos de dos km del Apple Campus.12 El proyecto ha sufrido diversos retrasos y sobrecostes que han elevado su coste final hasta unos 5000 millones de dólares,13 en parte por el perfeccionismo de la compañía Apple y por el empeño de hacer uno de los edificios más energéticamente sostenibles del mundo.41415 El 22 de febrero de 2017 la compañía anunció el nombre de su nueva sede4 y el primer evento público se celebró en el Teatro Steve Jobs el 12 de septiembre de 2017.

Statue of Liberty
The height of the Statue of Liberty is 111′-1″ from bottom of foot to top of head. The 7 rays on the crown and the 11 points of the base star echo the proportions of the Great Pyramid’s 7:11 height to base proportion. The superb book Talisman by Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval convincingly shows this goddess is actually the Egyptian Isis.

Location
Montségur is in the Ariege, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, not far from Lavelanet, due South from Mirepoix.
Montségur lies at 42°52'35" N, 1°49'51" E on a pog (a volcanic pluton) at an altitude of 1,207 meters. The castle is owned by the Commune of Montségur. There is an entrance fee, which also covers entry to a museum in the nearby town.
