El calendario islámico es lunar. Los meses comienzan cuando es visible el primer cuarto creciente después de la luna nueva, es decir, un par de días después de ésta. Beltane (Pronounced "B'yal-t'n") is an ancient celebration of fertility. Fertility celebrations have their origins in Ancient Mesopotamia. Orgies took place along with feasting to encourage the fertility of food animals and the abundance of crops for the coming year. Beltane is directly opposite Samhain (Halloween) on the Satanic Calendar as Samhain is the time of reaping. Beltane is also the celebration of the return of the Sun, the planting of crops, and the rebirth of spring.
In Ancient Mesopotamia, this fertility rite was known as “Zagmuku,” Zagmuku was celebrated at the first New Moon after the spring equinox. The Ancients also celebrated the harvest, directly opposite Zagmuku, which was the original Samhain.
Because the holiday focused on rebirth, the original creation epic known the Enuma Elish, was recited on the fourth day of the festival which lasted 12 days. Originally, the celebration was in honor of the Sumerian God, Enlil (Baal) and this is where the name “Beltane” originates. In Mesopotamia, the New Year’s Festival also served to reaffirm the bond between the community and the Gods, the community was represented by the king in temple ritual, for the king was the one responsible for the continual tending of earthly harmony and was held accountable to the Gods. The king joined with the high priestess in the Inner Sanctum of the ziggurat, and both performed ritual sex.

These four solar points are cosmic events based upon the movements of the earth and Sun, symbolizing the interaction of light and darkness. “This date has long been considered a 'power point' of the Zodiac, and is symbolized by the Bull, one of the 'tetramorph' figures featured on the Tarot cards, the World and the Wheel of Fortune. The Hebrew Kabalistic Tree of Life (studied in-depth by Masons) displays the Roman numerals IX-XI (9-11) when the tree has “fallen” or is shown on its side. And in the Tarot (also studied by Masons) there is much 911 significance as well. The Major Arcana card “The Tower” shows a tall tower being struck by lightning, fire coming out the windows, and people falling to their deaths – all of which happened on 9/11, if the lightning is symbolically substituted by an airplane. In “The High Priestess” tarot card, Isis (the Statue of Liberty) is seen between the black and white Masonic pillars of Mercy and Severity, Boaz and Jachin (the Two Towers). The 13th “Death” tarot card also shows two towers with the sun between them. In Freemasonry the two/three pillars are very important and well-known to every Mason. One of the largest Masonic websites is called “The Three Pillars.” They are depicted on the 1st degree tracing board and they are the 3 columns of the Kabalistic Tree of Life. The pillars of Solomon’s temple - Sol-Om-On three words all meaning “Sun” -relate to this as well (note: WTC 7 was the Salomon Brothers Building). The right pillar of Mercy is Male and the left pillar of Severity is Female. Between them is the third androgynous pillar of enlightenment and illumination. This is symbolically depicted in the Tarot Death card where the sun is rising between two towers/pillars. In Da Vinci’s Last Supper, the back wall with two windows can be viewed as three towers/pillars. On the right is a man pointing representing the phallic/masculine, on the left is a very effeminate John representing the feminine, and the sun/son Jesus is in the middle. In the movie Spider-Man there was a deleted-scene with the sun rising between the Twin Towers symbolizing this as well.

So overlooking the 7 World Trade Center towers is the Statue of Liberty, Isis/Mary the Tower of Seven, wearing a 7-pointed crown. Just as in the sky Sirius (Isis) stands beside the 3 stars of Orion’s (Osirus’) Belt, on the ground Isis (the Statue of Liberty) stands beside 3 collapsing towers. The three buildings that collapsed, buildings 1, 2 and 7, perfectly replicate in size and distance both the 3 pyramids at Giza and the 3 stars in Orion’s Belt. WTC buildings 1 and 2 were very tall with a shorter building 7 off to the side. Similarly, there are 2 large pyramids at Giza and a smaller pyramid off to the side. Not to mention, before being destroyed on 9/11 there actually stood a huge model of the 3 Giza pyramids at the base of the World Trade Center. The Giza pyramids themselves were modeled after Orion’s Belt which consists of 2 bright stars and another slightly less bright one off to the side. The ancient Egyptians associated Orion’s Belt with the God Osirus, the husband of Isis/Sirius. Their son is our sun, Horus, the Egyptian Jesus.

Sirius, the dog-star, is so called because it lies in the constellation Canis Major. Canine, Latin for dog, was shortened by the Masons/Hollywood to K-9 in Doctor Who and Rin Tin Tin K-9 Cop. NASA even has a Mars rover called K-9. Since K is the 11th letter of the alphabet, K-9 is numerically 119 or 911. Before 1679 the constellation Columba (the Dove) occupied the same space as (was one with) Canis Major/Sirius. Since then the two constellations have drifted apart, but symbolically the Illuminati still associate the Dove with Sirius/Isis/Mary. The Columbine “blazing star” flower, Colombe meaning Dove, is a 5-petaled flower. In ancient Egypt the hieroglyph for Sirius included a 5-pointed star. In the U.S. District of “Columbia” the Masons built numerous 5-pointed star pentagrams into the roads/architecture. Is it not coincidental how the 5-sided Pentagon building would be attacked on 9/11, the same day it began construction 60 years prior? The Written Record
In seeking to unravel the mystery of the Marys in the New Testament, it is important to note at the outset that the Gospels were a later-recording of an oral history. In fact recent scholarship confirms that it is unlikely that any of the New Testament writers actually knew the historical Jesus (B,C,D *). The earliest New Testament records, Paul's Epistles, were written circa 51-57 CE, and the other books were written nearer to the end of the century. Many of the Biblical accounts of Mother Mary and Mary Magdalen were written 50 years or more after the death of Jesus of Nazareth (B,C,D *). In addition, it is quite clear that the existing Bible today underwent additions, deletions, and translation changes over the centuries. In fact, the Bible as we know it today was not even compiled until the 4th Century CE, and no known manuscripts of the New Testament are older than the 4th Century. What exist are copies of copies (B,C,D *). However, many other Gospels were written that were not included in the official cannon. Among them are the Gnostic Gospels. Surviving copies of the Gnostic Gospels predate the surviving Biblical manuscripts by 200 years (A,B,C,D *).
Why is it important to establish that the written record is based on oral history? What was once commonly understood as symbolic in the original version easily transmutes into the literal, and meanings are lost or change. While this is true of written records, it is especially true of oral histories (where it is impossible to examine the original version). It is important, therefore, to look to the cultural/historical context of the gospel stories when seeking to understand what the early Christians understood.
The Goddess in Jerusalem
Herod Antipas became ruler of the land through the ancient "Sacred Marriage" with the High Queen Mariamne, a priestess of the Triple Goddess Mari-Anna-Ishtar who was popularly worshiped at the time of Christ (B,C,D,E *). This Goddess was noted for her triple-towered temple or "magdala." It is important to note that much of the imagery in the Gospels, especially regarding the Marys, corresponds to the worship of this Goddess Mari-Anna-Ishtar (B,C,D,E *). This will be explored in more detail in the following sections.

The Divine Mother and her Consort/Savior Son is a strong theme in World Goddess Myth, making Virgin Mary/Mary Magdalen a likely composite. As noted on the Virgin page, the title of Virgin was often bestowed upon sexually active Goddesses. Sacred Temple Prostitutes were often called Virgins (D). In addition, children of The Sacred Marriage, a ritual union of a temple priestess and a king willing to die for his people, were often called "virgin born" or "divine children," just as Christ was (C). As noted on the Virgin page, it is possible that Mother Mary was dedicated to a Goddess temple when she was a child. Perhaps Mother Mary was a temple priestess, thus making Jesus (or Yeshua) a divine child (E). There is even stronger evidence that Mary Magdalen was a temple priestess, so perhaps this is the true connection between Mother Mary and Mary Magdalen.
Some feel that Mary the Mother and Mary the Lover were split into two characters--one good, the other evil--because women's sexuality was demonized by the early orthodox church. (See Mother Mary as Bride)
Magdalen as Temple Priestess
Four pieces of Gospel evidence strongly point to Mary Magdalen as a temple priestess of the Goddess. The first is her title "Magdalen," almost identical to "Magdala," noted earlier to be the name of the triple-towered temple of the Goddess Mari-Anna-Ishtar (D). Literally, "Mary of the Magdala" signifies "Mary of the Goddess Temple." Christian tradition has said that Mary is of the town "Magdala" or "Migdal," which was known as "The Village of Doves," a place where sacred doves were bred for the Goddess temple (F). In either case, two threads of strong symbolism link the name Magdalen to contemporary Goddess worship.
Next, Mary is known as a prostitute, just as the Goddess priestesses were titled "Sacred Prostitutes," although a more recent and accurate translation titles them "Sacred Women" or "hierodulae" (B, p. 29). Such prostitutes were considered evil by Jewish leaders of the time. That Jesus/Yeshua would associate with such a woman would indeed invoke the scorn of his disciples, as is recorded in the New Testament. |

Thirdly, Mary Magdalen is identified in Mark and Luke as the woman who was possessed by seven demons, which Yeshua cast out of her. The seven demons were a symbolic part of a temple ritual known as "The Descent of Inanna," one of the most ancient ceremonies known, recorded in the Epic of Gilgamesh (G). This ritual was known to be practiced in the Jerusalem temple of Mari-Anna-Ishtar (D,E,F *).
The last, and perhaps strongest, piece of evidence is the anointing of Yeshua with the sacred oil, an event which (uncharacteristically) was recorded in all four New Testament Gospels, pointing to its significance. The anointing of the Jesus' head with oil (as described in Mark 14:3-4) is an unmistakable symbol of The Sacred Marriage, a ceremony performed by temple priestesses (B).
Magdalen as the Bride of Christ
Mary Magdalen was said to have been the Bride of Christ. Many of the Gnostic Gospels (revered early on in the Christian Church and later thrown out of the cannon) portray Mary Magdalen as Christ's Most Beloved Disciple, reporting that Jesus often kissed her on the mouth and called her "Woman Who Knows All." Other disciples went to her for Christ's teachings after he died (A). She is portrayed as sitting at Jesus' feet to listen to his teachings (Luke 10:38-42) and also as anointing his feet with oil and drying them with her hair (John 11:2, 12:3). Three of the New Testament Gospels report that Mary Magdalen was at the foot of the cross, and all four Gospels note she was present at the tomb. The Gospel of John notes that after the resurrection, Christ appeared to Mary Magdalen first. Mary Magdalen is mentioned in the New Testament more often by far that Mother Mary.
In The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, Starbird presents a very strong case that Mary Magdalen was perceived by many Christians (up until the 14th or 15th Century) to be the Bride of Christ, who later bore his child. Just as the High Queen Mariamne was known to be a temple priestess, Starbird presents evidence that Mary Magdalen was a princess of Bethany. This Mary of Bethany (sister to Lazarus and Martha) was of the line of Benjamin. She was wedded to Yeshua, of the line of David, in order to fulfill the ancient prophecy that a Son of David would rule Jerusalem and a long period of peace would follow.

Many scholars have documented the fact that Jesus was supported by political zealots who wished to overthrow the Romans and put a Son of David on the throne in Jerusalem. (Numerous Biblical passages also suggest this.) In fact, it is much more likely that Jesus was crucified, not for blasphemy (which was no offense to the Romans), but for sedition. Crucification was the common punishment for insurrectionists, hence the title over his cross, "Jesus Christ, King of the Jews" (B,F *).
If indeed a strong faction of zealots wished to see Yeshua on the throne, he certainly would have been married to a suitable bride. Starbird suggests that the Wedding of Canna, where Jesus turned the water into wine, was actually the symbolic story of his own marriage to Mary of Bethany. "Cana" is the root for "zealot," and the water into wine may represent the new covenant for the people of Jerusalem. (B) |
Others believe that Yeshua himself took part in the Sacred Marriage with Mary Magdalen, as the anointing foretold. The Sacred Marriage was a ceremony to renew the land, at times was followed by the death of the redeemer/king who was called upon to sacrifice his blood for the people. (See G) "Mari-Ishtar . . . anointed--or christened--her doomed god when he went into the underworld, whence he would rise again at her bidding. That is, she made him a Christ. Her priestess raised the lament for him when he died. . . . In the Epic of Gilgamesh, victims were told She 'who anointed you with fragrant oil laments for you now' " (D, p. 615).
Anointing the head with oil had Biblical precedent in announcing kingship and was well known to be symbolic of the Sacred Marriage ceremony (B,D *). When Mary anointed Yeshua's head with sacred oil, he foretold his own death: "She has come beforehand to anoint my body for burial. . . . What this woman has done will be told as a memorial to her" (Mark 14:8-9). Immediately afterwards, Judas Iscariot (whose name means "zealot") went out to betray him, for he understood that Jesus was going to sacrifice his life, not rule as king (B).
Worship of the Magdalen
A French legend recorded in the 4th Century CE says that Mary Magdalen (along with Lazarus and Martha) fled to the South of France (via Egypt) bearing "the earthen vessel that held the blood of Christ." While legends of the Holy Grail took on a life of their own centuries later, merging with other legends, many believe that Mary Magdalen was herself the earthen vessel bearing Christ's child, the sacred bloodline of David. Starbird provides convincing evidence that this was indeed what many early Christians, including the Cathars, believed. In the South of France, the Cult of the Magdalen flourished until it was all but wiped out in the Albigensian campaigns by the Roman Catholic church in the late 13th Century. (B,D,E,F *)
The Song of Songs, the most popular love poem at the time of Christ and for centuries afterwards, was strongly associated with Mary Magdalen, believed to be the bride in the poem, and Yeshua the bridegroom. Attributed to Solomon, the Song of Songs has remained part of the official cannon, despite its unmistakably erotic imagery. The Roman Catholic church traditionally reads from the Song of Songs on Mary Magdalen's feast day (B).
There is strong evidence that Mary Magdalen was worshiped (somewhat secretly) right along side the Virgin Mary up until the Albigensian campaigns. Afterwards her worship was forced even further underground (B). In 1781, the last temple dedicated to her was destroyed (D). Numerous landmarks attest to her cult in the South of France. Among many other examples, "a Christian magic ring, now in the London museum, bears the legend, 'Holy Mary Magdalen pray for me' " (D, p. 615).
Of the many cathedrals dedicated to Our Lady, Notre Dame, in the middle ages, it is unclear which "Our Lady" they were dedicated to, especially since many of the cathedrals were funded by the Knights Templar, champions of Mary Magdalen (B). In the 14th Century, the church made a concerted effort to clarify that the only Our Lady was Mother Mary. In doing so, they made Mother Mary "The Bride of Christ," although they emphasized it was a spiritual union only (B,C).

The Black Madonna
The Cult of the Magdalen, forced underground, is linked to the Cult of the Black Madonna, which thrived in France and elsewhere in Europe. There has been much speculation as to the origin of the Madonna's blackness. One link is to Sarah "The Black Queen," believed to be the child of Mary Magdalen, brought out of Egypt. The town of Les-Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in southern France still celebrates her festival (B). Other links are scriptural, such as to the bride in the Song of Songs: "I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem" (Song of Solomon 1:5, B,C *), or to the deposed Davidic princes of Jerusalem: "now their appearance is blacker than soot, they are unrecognized in the streets" (Lamentations 4:8, B). One of Mary Magdalen's most prominent shrines, at Chartres, centered around a statue named "Our Lady Under The Earth" (B, p. 79). This also emphasizes her hidden aspect.

Some of the Black Madonnas were originally statues of Isis, such as The Black Virgin of Notre Dame du Puy, whose replica is shown here (H). Indeed Mary Magdalen is linked to Isis in other ways, such as mourning the dead god Osiris. The cult of Isis was very popular at the time of Christ (B,D *). In Catholic countries, black is associated with magic. "Black Madonnas are considered especially wonder-working, as the possessors of hermetic knowledge and power" (C, p.275).
Some have suggested that black represents a face of the universal Goddess not positively acknowledged in Christianity: the face of the Crone, the Death Mother, the Shadow Self. Some Black Madonnas are also seen as "wounded," such as Our Lady of Czestochowa with the scars on her cheek (H). There has been a revival of interest in the Black Madonna. One modern devotee has this to say about her: |
"Through the Black Madonna's interaction in my life, I am finally able to say, 'Enough pain, enough wounding. It's over, the hurting is over. I am perfect the way I am, and that doesn't mean I don't make mistakes. It means that in my humanity, even my mistakes are perfect.' "

Mystery, Babylon the Great

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH... And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, thees shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire... and the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Gate of the God
Is New York City -- plausibly the greatest city on earth -- the city called 'Babylon' personified by a 'great whore'? Does the scriptural passages concerning the fall of Babylon have some relevance to the 911 terrorist attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center twin towers? Indeed, since many had long compared NYC to the scriptural 'Babylon', the 'prophecies' in Revelation quoted above can quite naturally be considered applicable to the first major attack on the US homeland - one of the biggest, and most shocking, terrorist incidents in all history. Although some may object to the resultant implication that NYC is the city of sinners that had to be destroyed by 'God' himself, I'd point out that the sense of 'good vs. evil' in the Bible is quite a murky one that should not be taken too literally. (In fact, nothing in religious writings is to be taken literally - it's a trap that ape-brained men can't seem to get past... and this has caused so much trouble for the world throughout history. This is what happens when a powerful 'gift' is given to those who are not ready to handle it. History of mankind since c. 4000 BC -- when 'Pandora's box' was opened -- is the story of humans struggling to co-exist with the divine 'gift'.) A case in point: in Genesis, we read that at one time men were all united, spoke one language, and worked together in harmony toward reaching 'heaven':
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 11:4)
In other words, mankind was thriving in peace and had high hopes. And what does 'God' do?
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel... (Genesis 11:5-9)
If the biblical 'God' represents all that is 'good', then this episode does not make much sense, does it? If 'good' represents men not living in harmony and striving to become something better, then what good is being 'good'? Hence, the overlay of NYC and Babylon the 'whore' need not be viewed as an 'evil' city versus those representing the 'good'. And there is, of course, a direct parallel between the NYC-Babylon juxtaposition and the biblical tale concerning the building of the Tower of Babel just quoted above.  According to tradition, the Tower of Babel was built in the ancient city of Babylon - in fact 'Babel' and 'Babylon' are practically interchangeable terms. How fitting is it that it was the twin towers -- by far the tallest in the city -- of the modern Babylon, i.e. NYC, that were destroyed in the recent terrorist attacks? NYC is the ultimate melting pot of all peoples of this planet where they interact in harmony (well-exemplified by NYC being the home of the United Nations) and produce something great -- just like the builders of the Tower of Babel. And even the designation of 'whore' is quite applicable as at the entrance to NYC is found the welcoming Statue of Liberty, a great woman symbolizing the great city.
There are further correlations to be yielded by the label 'whore'. A character in the scriptures that would best fit the description is Mary Magdalene - an enigmatic female companion, or quite likely the lover/wife, of Jesus Christ. Although Mary Magdalene is never described as a prostitute in the New Testament, it has been the prevalent view that she was. Chances are, though, the Magdalene is to be considered a 'whore' only in the symbolic sense that she was a version of the ancient Egyptian goddess par excellence, Isis, the wife-sister of Osiris, who was both a 'virgin' and a 'whore' as well as a goddess of wisdom and magic. (Isis' companion Osiris was killed and later resurrected to nicely parallel the Magdalene's companion, Jesus.) Isis, in turn, was represented in the sky by the great star Sirius -- a star of utmost importance to the ancient Egyptians as its 'rebirth' (i.e. 'heliacal rising') in mid-summer had the function of marking the New Year and signaling the beginning of the life-giving annual flooding of the Nile, roughly coinciding with the summer solstice. Curiously, the biblical tale about the Tower of Babel immediately follow those concerning Noah and the Great Flood as if to echo the correlation.
Esoterically, Sirius is represented by a five-pointed star, i.e. a pentagonal form -- thus ending up strongly resonating with the fact that the '911' terrorist attacks hit not just the WTC towers but also the Pentagon (whose construction, by the way, began on 9-11). Sirius, moreover, may be considered a 'stargate' par excellence for in ancient Egypt 'star' was interchangeable with 'doorway'. Sirius being the brightest star in the night sky, it can thusly be viewed as the ultimate 'gate of heaven', or 'gate of the god' - which just happens to be the very meaning of the name 'Babylon'. Similarly, the name given to the historical Tower of Babel, Etemenanki, meant 'the house of the foundation of heaven and earth', i.e. a gate to heaven. This link is then further enhanced by the fact that the name 'Magdalene' (as Magdala) can mean 'tower' as in the Tower of Babel and the WTC twin towers. Reinforcing the connection even more, amazingly, is the groundbreaking date of the WTC twin towers being August 5, that is, the very date of Sirius' heliacal rising/'rebirth' in our epoch! The Magdalene's name can also mean 'place of the dove' - which is still quite intriguing as it relates to the flood theme; it was a dove that signaled for Noah that the flood had ended (see Gen. 8:8-12).
The Fallen
In Genesis, the cause of the biblical Flood is -- rather mysteriously -- associated with 'fallen angels', or 'giants'/'sons of God', more properly called the 'Nephilim':
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth...
This is a typical English translation of Genesis 6:4-7 that contains some errors, including the last phrase, ‘men of renown’. It may be more accurately rendered as ‘the people of the shem’. What, then, is the ‘shem’? Zecharia Sitchin writes:
The persistence of biblical translators to employ "name" wherever they encounter shem has ignored a farsighted study published more than a century ago by G. M. Redslob… in which he correctly pointed out that the term shem and the term shamaim ("heaven") stem from the root word shamah, meaning "that which is highward." (The 12th Planet, pp.147-8)
The shem was also closely linked with fire and a stone; the shem thus was a ‘highward fire-stone’. It is, in other words, apparently a reference to a meteorite. This is strongly corroborated by the fact that:
Shems were particularly associated with something called an-na, which meant ‘heavenly stone’, a term that was also used to define a shining metal. The use of the word shem in respect of its ‘shining’ aspect is apparent in the alternative name for Prince Utu, brother of Inanna… His epithet was Shem-esh: the Shining One. (Laurence Gardner, Genesis of the Grail Kings, p.120)
So, what we have here is this: the shem was a ‘heavenly shining fire-stone’ while the Nephilim, i.e. the ‘fallen angles’ (also called the ‘Shining Ones’), were the ‘people of the shem’.
The shem also figures in the tale of the Tower of Babel:
…let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a shem, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Again, the shem is directly associated with heaven, and here it is additionally linked with the top of a tower – which makes the shem very much comparable to the Egyptian Benben Stone which too is thought to have been a meteorite and was placed at the very top of a pyramid or obelisk. It may also be noticed that the Babel story conceptually parallels the saga of the 'fallen angels' who were punished by ‘God’ for overreaching just as was the case with the builders of the Tower.
The Benben Stone connection then brings us back to Osiris, the husband-brother of Isis, as ancient Egyptian theology equated the heavenly stone with the soul of Osiris as well as the phoenix. Since the phoenix signifies the concept of resurrection, it may be inferred that the Benben/shem is symbolic of Osirian resurrection which mythologically takes place with the help of Isis. And similarly, Jesus -- in theory, the biblical Osiris -- is identified in the New Testament with the cornerstone of the Temple that the ‘builders rejected’:
…Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone… (Ephesians 2:20)
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. (Acts 4:10-1)
This notion of a rejected cornerstone can easily be compared to the ‘rejected’ capstone/benben of the greatest Egyptian ‘Temple’, the Great Pyramid. Combined with a cornerstone’s significance as the transition from the underground realm to the upper realm, the rejected cornerstone even echoes the Benben Stone being symbolic of Osirian resurrection (thus further reinforcing the Osiris-Jesus identification).
Antediluvian Pillars
Osiris was considered the ruler of the Golden Age known to the ancient Egyptians as the Zep Tepi, or 'First Time'. This mythical realm in turn has been often associated with the supposed great antediluvian civilization that Plato called 'Atlantis'. In Plato's accounts of this lost world, the only clear reference to its geographical position is that it was situated beyond the 'pillars of Hercules' (an ancient name for the Straits of Gibraltar at the western end of the Mediterranean Sea). Osiris, correspondingly, was often depicted in the shape of a pillar by the ancient Egyptians. Could the two 'pillars of Hercules' that represented a gateway to the paradisiacal realm be now considered analogous to the Tower of Babel/'gate of the god' or more specifically the twin towers/pillars of NYC destroyed in the 9-11 terrorist attacks?
The imagery of two pillars is also clearly evocative of the two pillars of Jachin and Boaz (symbolizing individual power and life) that stood at the entrance to Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, the home of the Ark of the Covenant. They were made of brass (1 Kings 7:15) - which has a most fitting implication as brass/bronze is considered to signify 'the indissoluble compact between Earth and Heaven and the pledge of the everlasting stability of this covenant' (Chevalier & Gheerbrant, Dictionary of Symbols, "column"). Representations of these pillars are still found in lodges of Freemasonry, a large semi-secret and esoteric organization which carries within its mysterious tradition that of the medieval warrior-monks, the Knights Templar.
After its sudden dissolution initiated by the French king Philip the Fair in 1307, the Templar survivors apparently made their way into Scotland where they and their tradition found a sanctuary and were maintained by certain interlocking families including the Sinclairs, the patron of Scottish Freemasonry, who had a close connection with the Templar knights. Among the Templar legacies were almost certainly things they had obtained at the site of Solomon's Temple which they had been allowed to use as their headquarters. It is known that the knights excavated the site and probably found something of great importance which may have contributed to the rapid rise to the top of the power structure in Christendom. So it was quite obviously through the incorporation of Templarism that Freemasonry came to adopt the Solomonic twin-pillar symbolism.
That these pillars are relevant to our discussion is effectively confirmed by the imagery on one of the tarot cards called the 'High Priestess' or 'Papess' which shows a high priestess/female pope along with the pillars of Jachin and Boaz marked 'J' and 'B'.
The Papess almost certainly represents none other than Mary Magdalene (= Isis, Babylon, tower, etc.) who actually had a power struggle with Peter the first pope according to Gnostic Gospels. Also, tellingly, the term ‘prostitute’ (a description often applied to the Magdalene), as hierodulae, would refer to the ‘sacred women’-- or 'priestesses' -- of the temple of the Goddess who performed a ritual practice resembling the anointing of Jesus by Mary of Bethany (often equated with Mary Magdalene). In ancient times, anointing of the king was a ritual – called the ‘Sacred Marriage’ in Greek – performed by a royal bride; the implication being that Mary Magdalene married Jesus, just as Isis was the wife of Osiris, resulting in the 'Holy Grail' which is the 'Blood Royal'.
The pillars of Jachin and Boaz also nicely relate back to the themes of the Flood and Atlantis as originally these Masonic pillars represented the 'Antediluvian Pillars' erected by Enoch, Noah's great-grandfather, who is considered one of Freemasonry's founders. According to legend, Enoch had the foreknowledge of the coming Deluge and constructed nine hidden vaults in which he concealed certain knowledge. He then placed two columns at the site upon which were inscribed the 'seven sciences' of mankind and such. The vaults were later found by Solomon while building his Temple. Enoch, therefore, can be viewed as a prototype of Noah and the vaults/pillars are another form of the Ark containing antediluvian, or Atlantean, 'knowledge'.
It is interesting to point out here that it is the 'Book of Enoch' that contains the most detailed account of the affairs of the 'fallen angels'/'Watchers' briefly mentioned in Genesis. Also, that the number of Enoch's vaults was nine, combined with the twin pillars visually forming the number '11', raises the possibility that the date of the terrorist attacks on the NYC twin towers (9-11) was in reference, at least in part, to the Antediluvian Pillars and its connection to the WTC 'pillars'. Seemingly supportive of this, numerically, also is the fact that there are exactly 111 days left in the year after 9-11. As it happens, the Sumerian version of Noah's Ark "was a cube - a modest one, measuring 60x60x60 fathoms, which represents the unit in the sexagesimal system where 60 is written as 1" (Hamlet's Mill, p.219). In other words, the original Ark could be considered to have measured 1x1x1 or '111'.
Lost and Found
On the Etemenanki website, I have long pointed out the persistent symbolic connection that apparently exists between high-impact world events -- especially airplane crashes -- and the theme of the Ark-Grail (see 1999: The Ark of Sirius for example). The '911' event involving airplane crashes, needless to say, fits the pattern very well.
After some contemplation, I have now finally found a reasonably sound explanation as to why such a symbolic link exists. An 'airplane' is a perfect vehicle to carry the notion of the 'air-plane' as in the 'dimension of air' that is sandwiched between the planes of earth and heaven. Its relative position therefore is implicative of the familiar theme of the unification or 'gate' of earth and heaven. In support of this interpretation, we find that in ancient Egypt it was conceptualized that the air god Shu was sort of a pillar that held the vault of heaven above. This imagery is strikingly evocative of Atlas of Greek mythology who was condemned to bearing the heaven on his shoulders for eternity after the great war with the Olympians. Atlas, in turn, is said to have been the first king of Atlantis and in effect the embodiment of this legendary civilization!
Airplane crashes would therefore be analogous to the destruction of the antediluvian world, i.e. none other the the Great Flood, which may be conceptually thought of as the collapse of great pillars/towers/gate -- and that is exactly what took place at the World Trade Center in NYC!
The planes crashing into the WTC towers and the Pentagon was of course like no other plane crashes. The magnitude of devastation and symbolic coherence was off the scale. Does this imply something? Why so strong an echo of the 'Atlantean' destruction in 2001?
Could it be that like Osiris and the phoenix, Atlantis is getting ready to rise again from its ashes now? Is the Ark about to be opened? Is the discovery of the fabled Atlantean 'Hall of Records' imminent?
In 2000, an underwater city with pyramidal structures was detected off the coast of Cuba. Researchers have been quietly examining this most enigmatic archaeological find behind the scenes. We are at this time simply awaiting the news of this paradigm-shattering revelation to break. Could this be relevant? It seems so.
Indeed, long before the '911' attacks I had already detected a curious pattern. In the 'View from Here' section of the Etemenanki website, for example, I have made the following remarks:
- June 20: "Looks like this is going to be a summer of Atlantis."
- July 06: "...the undercurrent esoteric theme of this summer was to be the 'rising' of Atlantis... I'd say 'the timetable', the template of history, is dictating that 2001 be the beginning of the 'resurrection of Osiris' (which has many levels of meaning)."
Along with these I had also noted how this theme appeared to be entangled with Mars at which NASA's latest probe, Mars Odyssey, just arrived on Oct. 23, '01.  All summer long, Mars was very close to Earth -- in fact, closest in over a decade -- and was a dominant object in the night sky. And since 1998, Mars Global Surveyor had been giving us new photographs of the controversial Cydonia "monuments" on Mars in an attempt to confirm or refute the claim of the Cydonian structures being artificial - a question that still has not been settled but is getting more and more intriguing. Perhaps Odyssey will help solving the enigma soon.
It cannot be ignored that NYC, where the 'Atlantean pillars' stood, is situated at ~40.8°N latitude which happens to be the very latitude of the Martian 'monuments' in Cydonia.  And one of the most intriguing Cydonia structures happens to be a pentagonal pyramid called the 'D&M Pyramid' which is very much evocative of the Pentagon hit by a plane on 9-11. The Martian Pentagon is even partially collapsed to reflect the US Pentagon, or vice versa.
What are we to make of all these and other connections? Atlantis... Mars... Was Atlantis on (gasp) Mars? Did mankind first started on the Red Planet before the "Flood"? One telling clue is the fact that the humans ‘free-running circadian rhythm’ (i.e. the natural sleep-awake cycle without any external time cues such as sunrise, sunset, clock, daily routine, etc.) is not 24 hours as expected, but about 24.7 hours long instead – that is, almost precisely the length of a Martian day.
Did man 'fall' to Earth in an "Exodus" from the Red Planet like a life-seeding meteorite and knowledge-providing 'fallen angles'? The shem was a 'fire-stone' - isn't this a potent allusion to Mars, the planet/'stone' of fire?
What was placed in the Ark of Moses, according to some scholars, were actually meteorites. Could the tale of Moses and his Ark, then, be another version of Noah and his Ark? Was the 'Exodus' of the Israelites led by Moses, then, actually a parabolic story about an interplanetary migration of man in the forgotten past?
The 911 event being a symbolic reenactment of the Flood (i.e. destruction of 'Atlantis'), wouldn't the pattern dictate that the next event be a mass 'Exodus'? Could it be just a coincidence that I conceptually equated President Bush with Moses in The Two Suns of Election MM last year?
But where would be the destination of this 'Exodus'? Where is our 'Promised Land'?
You guessed it: Mars.
The world events today appear to be symbolically anticipating mankind's imminent migration to the Red Planet on which will likely be found enough water to sustain a full-blown civilization soon (this is probably where Mars Odyssey comes in).
We are going back to our Genesis, the First Time, the Golden Age, the Age of Osiris.
America is no longer the 'New World'. Mars is. And this is actually part of what I had in mind when I stated in early 2000:
Now, I'm not sure if I want to say this... but here is something that the data I have is suggesting to me. It's that the year 2000/2001 is to bring to the United States one of the biggest events the country has ever experienced. This is not something I 'believe' or based on 'millennial' mentality; it's just what the data I have (not presented on this website) is suggesting to me. The key concepts attached to this are termination and 'New World'.
Mars is Osiris. And Osiris is being resurrected like a rising Morning Star. It is time for a Total Recall.

A character in the scriptures that would best fit the description is Mary Magdalene - an enigmatic female companion, or quite likely the lover/wife, of Jesus Christ. Although Mary Magdalene is never described as a prostitute in the New Testament, it has been the prevalent view that she was. Chances are, though, the Magdalene is to be considered a 'whore' only in the symbolic sense that she was a version of the ancient Egyptian goddess par excellence, Isis, the wife-sister of Osiris, who was both a 'virgin' and a 'whore' as well as a goddess of wisdom and magic. (Isis' companion Osiris was killed and later resurrected to nicely parallel the Magdalene's companion, Jesus.) Isis, in turn, was represented in the sky by the great star Sirius -- a star of utmost importance to the ancient Egyptians as its 'rebirth' (i.e. 'heliacal rising') in mid-summer had the function of marking the New Year and signaling the beginning of the life-giving annual flooding of the Nile, roughly coinciding with the summer solstice.
As already discussed, the date September 11 corresponds to the ancient Egyptian midsummer/New Year day marked by Sirius! What's more:
...the name 'Magdalene' (as Magdala) can mean 'tower' as in the Tower of Babel and the WTC twin towers. Reinforcing the connection even more, amazingly, is the groundbreaking date of the WTC twin towers being August 5, that is, the very date of [or overlapping] Sirius' heliacal rising/'rebirth' in our epoch!
Added together, it becomes quite clear that the WTC towers were the modern symbolic Tower of Babel/Babylon.
In Genesis, the very first book of the Bible (Old Testament), we find the following passages talking about the Tower... in chapter '11' of course:
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel... [Genesis 11:4-9]
Tellingly, like Revelation's 'Babylon' and the WTC towers, the Babel tower is destroyed. But the key here is the references to the people uniting as 'one' - because this brings our attention to the United Nations which has its headquarters in NYC. The UN is the place where all nations come together and try to work with each other. Hence the UN building in NYC, like the twin towers, would be yet another alter ego of the Tower of Babel.
Take a look at the UN building shown below. It's almost a perfect replica of the 'monolith' in '2001'!
So even though one version the Babel tower (i.e. WTC) was destroyed in 2001, another version, associated with the film '2001', is still standing in NYC-Babylon!
This brings us back to the issue of what happened on the autumn-equinox 'Mars day' of 2003. It turns out, the big event there on Sept. 23 was President Bush addressing the UN members in the 'monolith' building!
At the UN Assembly, Bush asked for international help on Iraq and in so doing made official the White House's decision to soften its neoconservative/'Pax Americana'-driven unilateral war policy. This was an important event because it signaled the beginning of the end for the neo-conservative hawks who, led by Vice President Cheney, pushed for the Iraq invasion (for oil and Israel).
What made the '2001' film-connection apparently encoded here more plausible was a certain event that immediately preceded the UN Assembly. On September 21, NASA deliberately crashed the Galileo spacecraft into Jupiter. As I wrote back in Sept. '03:
The symbolism of this NASA 'ritual' is very thick. For one thing, it relates not only to 2001: A Space Odyssey but also to its sequel '2010: The Year We Make Contact' (or 'Odyssey Two') in which Jupiter, with the help of the monolith, becomes a sun - called Lucifer. And in real life [the Galileo probe was actually carrying plutonium, causing some buzz about a possible nuclear reaction turning Jupiter into the second sun of the solar system.]
Indeed, there are signs that there may well have been a nuclear detonation on/in Jupiter caused by Galileo's fall.
We have already noted that the Sirius-rising date August 6, which is a 'version' of September 11, is historically associated with nukes since Hiroshima became the first city to experience a nuclear attack on August 6 (1945).
This is reinforced by Mary Magdalene (or the Virgin) - the biblical Isis-Sirius - also having a nuclear association. The name 'Mary' is said to denote 'bitter', which is also the meaning of the well-known biblical term 'Wormwood' - a star that falls to the earth in the end times. It's found in Revelation 8:10-11.
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
The worst nuclear disaster we've seen after Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the 1986 nuclear-reactor accident at a place called Chernobyl... The term 'Chernobyl' means none other than 'wormwood'!
So there is definitely a nuke theme in all this which may be relevant to what's coming in the near future... A nuclear detonation could be considered an event representing Isis-Mary giving birth to Horus/'Lucifer', as per the '2010' storyline.
The name 'Lucifer' means 'light-bringer' and was originally a reference to the Morning Star - Venus. Very fitting - because Mary Magdalene was traditionally associated with Venus! (Isis, Mary Magdalene, and Venus are all associated with love/sexuality.)
And through Venus, the 'time echo' scheme begins to move into the near future... the period right ahead of us.

Venus, Mars & May 2004
In addition to being a 'year of Mars', 2003 was also the 'year of Mary Magdalene', thanks to the monstrous success of the novel The Da Vince Code which became a cultural phenomenon. By early 2002, actually, I had been fully anticipating this interest spike and the parallel development between Mars and Gnostic secrets (truth represented by Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist, etc.), as I proclaimed in Endgame III (Nov. '02):
I'm sure this is the first time that all the different subject matters, especially Cydonia [or Mars] and the underground Gnostic tradition, have been put together and viewed as aspects of the same 'game'. Strange stuff, yes, but this is where the 'game' is going, so people should get used to it.
The Da Vinci Code, which is largely based on Holy Blood, Holy Grail (nonfiction), talks a lot about a secret society named the Priory of Sion. This semi-mythical group historically based in France venerates Mary Magdalene (as well as John the Baptist), who is also called the 'Black Madonna', and claims to possess or guard (a la the Knights Templar) the messianic bloodline/secrets stemming from the union of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. (Tradition has it that Mary Magdalene, along with the 'seed' of Jesus, moved to southern France some time after the Crucifixion.)
It is known that the Priory of Sion is closely associated with the number '58' (See for instance The Templar Revelation, p.52.)  This is probably related to the fact that the apparent orbital path of the 'Magdalene planet', Venus, produces a pentagonal form (i.e. '5') over a period of eight years. So with or without the Priory Sion, Venus-Magdalene is associated with the numbers 8 and particularly 5. (This association was also expressed on 9/11 as one of the planes hit the Pentagon, the five-sided building of the Defense Department.) This is significant because:

The number '58' is prominently attached to the key Isis-Magdalene-Venus date, August 6, 2003 - the day of the 'rise of the Schwarzenegger'. It was the 58th anniversary of the Hiroshima atomic bombing.

The same number would pop up again when Bush visited the UN 'monolith'/Babel building, September 23, '03 - an event similarly associated with nukes via the attached Galileo/'2010' symbolism. The event happened to be the 'UN General Assembly 58th Session'.

The 'signal' becomes unmistakable when it is added that the Sirian 'Axis of Paris' (Champs Elysees), pinpointing August 6 (the Hiroshima date) through its solar/Sirius alignment, has been noted to pinpoint one other day - May 8, or 5/8! (Technically the precise timing of the alignment might be slightly earlier than 5/8, but at least calendrically the pinpointed date would be May 8 in 2004.)
There is another 'Venus number' that is equally compelling as '58'. This is '225' - the orbital period of Venus in Earth-days. We find that:

The fateful year 2001 was the 225th year since the birth of the United States (1776). Lady Liberty, a prominent US symbol, is a version of Isis/Mary the Magdalene/Virgin (thus also Venus).

The historic US east-coast 'Total Blackout' on August 14, 2003 coming just days after the 'rise of Schwarzenegger' was precisely the 225th day of the year. The significance of the date is underscored by the fact that August 27, when Mars was at its closest point to Earth in 60,000 years, was the 'August 14' of the Julian calendar.

Adding 225 days to the '2010 monolith' day of the 2003 autumnal equinox (Sept. 23) brings us to May 5, 2004. It does not exactly match the key Venus/Paris-axis date of 'May 8', but very close.

Mel Gibson's controversial film released earlier this year, The Passion of the Christ, which like The Da Vinci Code became a cultural phenomenon, depicts the final 12 hours of Jesus' life - i.e. the period corresponding to the Osirian death/resurrection, or Isis-Mary receiving and perpetuating the seed of Christ-Horus. The film was released on February 25 - that is, 2/25 (225).

The 225th day of 2004, August 13, is the exact day the Athens Olympic Games will begin! Historically the  Olympics Games are held to honor the supreme Greco-Roman god Zeus/Jupiter. And as we saw Jupiter is to be associated with '2001'/'2010', 'monolith', 'Lucifer' (= Venus), and nuclear detonation. What's more, one of Schwarzenegger's nicknames happens to be 'The Olympian' (he won the 'Mr. Olympia' bodybuilding competition six times)...
Clearly the emerging picture here is that around May 8, 2004, along with August 13/the Olympics, is a symbolically momentous period that carries a lot of ominous themes such as 9/11, Iraq, Osirian resurrection, Schwarzenegger/Horus, 'Antichrist', nuclear, blackout, Lucifer, Isis-Magdalene, Mars, and such.
The final nail in the coffin, so to speak, comes from the position of Mars on/around May 8, 2004.

Mars will be at one of the 'stargate' points where the Milky Way (galactic equator) and the ecliptic cross just as was the case on the days of 9/11 and the beginning of the Iraq war (3/20/03). Only this time Mars is to be at the other 'stargate' point, 180 degrees away from the '9/11' position. Indeed, it will be marking the summer-solstice point - none other than the 'Sirian point' calendrically associated with the key dates August 6, September 11, etc.! (Note: Mars comes to one of these 'stargate' points every 9 months.)

On September 11, 2001, the above spot was marked by the Moon. This time, on May 7/8, the Moon is to be at the other 'stargate point' (winter-solstice point). In other words, an exact reversal of the 9/11-'stargate' configuration!
Venus doesn't miss a beat here either:

The 'Isis-Magdalene planet' Venus is to be very close to Mars and the summer-solstice 'stargate' point. But while Mars is crossing the galactic equator, Venus will be crossing the galactic meridian, i.e. the 'longitude zero' of the galactic grid!
