La Pirámide Truncada y su simbolismo Masónico.
Las pirámides a primera vista ejercen un poder magnético sobre el ser humano, han corrido ríos de tinta alrededor de éstas. Alguna vez, un masón expulsó una conferencia en el que nos decía que Nuestras Aras Sagradas o Altares debían tener la forma de una Pirámide Truncada, para poner sobre estas Aras el correspondiente Libro de la Ley. Las Aras Sagradas, estando justo al centro de Nuestros Templos Francmasónicos, tomadas éstas de un símbolo Solar de los Antiguos Druidas. El Ara Sagrada, con forma de una pirámide truncada de base cuadrada es un símbolo luminoso y sagrado; símbolo de la elevación de nuestros pensamientos, por medio de la cual percibimos la realidad trascendente que se esconde bajo la apariencia contradictoria y llegamos a conocer la verdad el Elemento más sobresaliente dentro del templo masónico es sin duda el Ara Sagrada, ahí donde hacemos nuestros Juramentos Masónicos, tienen o deben tener la forma piramidal truncada con base cuadrada y elevada sobre tres luces, se yergue al centro del recinto sagrado, sobrepuesto sobre la pirámide la espada flamígera símbolo de justicia y honor; sobre ella un cojín de color carmesí de forma triangular con borlas de oro en sus vértices, donde descansa abierto una Sagrada Biblia, sobre ella una escuadra y un compás, el espíritu y la materia; todo alumbrado por tres cirios, antorchas o luces que recuerdan el compromiso de liberta igualdad y fraternidad. Pero ¿cuál es el significado para los masones de esta pirámide truncada? Que son las bases las que sostienen todo el aparato masónico, que la Masonería tiene un organigrama piramidal, pero que siempre el masón debe estar consciente de que precisamente la parte más importante de una pirámide son las capas inferiores y que las superiores dependen de la fortaleza de las inferiores. Lo trunca de nuestra pirámide simboliza que nuestra tarea, nuestra obra aún no concluye.

La Pirámide invertida del Louvre y “El Código Da Vinci”.
La sala donde se encuentra la pirámide Invertida del Louvre.
Hace ya algunos meses, el pasado 7 de Abril, escribí un post titulado “La pirámide de I. M. Pei” en referencia a la famosa Pirámide del Louvre que ocupa el centro del Cour Napoleon y sirve, hoy día, de entrada principal al recinto museístico.
Advertí también, entonces, de la existencia de una segunda pirámide mucho menos conocida y mucho más enigmática que la ya mencionada.
A este enigma ha contribuído el libro “El Código Da Vinci” de Dan Brown, otorgándole un grado de notoriedad esotérica y religiosa que anteriormente no tenía.
Desde entonces, esta pirámide ha sido considerada como uno de los puntos de la ciudad más importante para visitar por los turistas llegados a la capital de Francia en busca de referencias físicas para la comprensión de dicho libro.
Nos estamos refiriendo a la Pyramide Inversée o Pirámide Invertida del Louvre.
Desde el exterior del edificio no es fácil distinguir la posición de la Pirámide Invertida, que como su nombre indica, es una pirámide que nace a ras de suelo y el vértice superior, en este caso inferior, está en el subterráneo.
Si nos situamos en el Arco del Triunfo del Carrousel y fijamos nuestra mirada en la Pirámide principal, nos encontramos a mitad de camino con una rotonda que soporta una gran circulación de vehículos, es la Place du Carrousel. Aparentemente es una rotonda como otra cualquiera que tiene en su circunferencia unos setos de aproximadamente un metro de altura. Pues bien, estos setos enmarcan la base cuadrada de la Pyramide Inversée.
El seto de la rotonda oculta la estructura de cristal y acero de la pirámide Invertida.
Al igual que la principal, está fabricada en acero y cristal y su inclinación es de 51º, como las pirámides egípcias.
El vértice inferior de la misma no llega al suelo, sino que se queda aproximadamente a un metro y medio de distancia del mismo.
Justo debajo de la estructura modernista de cristal y acero, se construyó una pequeña pirámide de piedra que cubre esa distancia, dejando de separación entre ambos vértices el espacio aproximado de una cabeza.
A esta pequeña pirámide se refiere Dan Brown en su libro como el lugar donde se encuentra el misterio del Santo Grial, la tumba de María Magdalena.
A este punto, situado en el subterráneo del Museo del Louvre viajan al año millones y millones de turistas, unos simplemente para admirar la belleza de su construcción, otros, por el contrario, para conocer el lugar que el autor norteamericano eligió como escondite secreto del Santo Grial en su obra más conocida.
Después, muchos, reflejan su descontento al conocer la realidad de la construcción y la ficción del episodio novelado.

El texto de El Código da Vinci dice así en sus dos últimas páginas:
Ahora, avanzando a toda prisa por la Rué de Rivoli, Langdon sentía que su destino estaba cerca. A menos de una travesía.
Bajo la antigua Roslin el Grial con impaciencia espera tu llegada.
Las revelaciones parecían sucederse las unas a las otras. La manera antigua de escribir Rosslyn… la espada y el cáliz… la tumba adornada por artes de maestros.
«¿Era por eso por lo que Saunière tenía que hablar conmigo? ¿Había adivinado yo la verdad sin saberlo?»
Empezó a correr, sintiendo que la Línea Rosa bajo sus pies le guiaba, le empujaba hacia su destino. Al entrar en el largo túnel del Passage Richelieu, el vello de la nuca empezó a erizársele de la emoción anticipada. Sabía que al final de ese túnel se encontraba el monumento más misterioso de París, concebido y encargado en la década de 1980 por la esfinge en persona, Francois Mitterrand, un hombre del que se rumoreaba que se movía en círculos secretos, un hombre cuyo legado final a París había sido un lugar que Langdon había visitado hacía sólo unos días.
«En otra vida.»
Con un esfuerzo final, Langdon salió del pasaje, llegó a una explanada que le resultaba familiar y se detuvo. Sin aliento, levantó la vista muy despacio, con cautela, intentando abarcar la brillante estructura que tenía delante.
«La Pirámide del Louvre.»
Iluminada en la oscuridad. La admiró sólo un instante. Estaba más interesado en lo que le quedaba a la derecha. Se volvió y notó que una vez más los pies se le movían solos por el camino invisible de la antigua Línea Rosa y lo llevaban hacia el Carrousel du Louvre —el enorme círculo de césped rodeado en su perímetro por unos setos bien cortados—, en otro tiempo escenario de primitivas fiestas de culto a la naturaleza… alegres ritos de celebración de la fertilidad y la diosa.
Al meterse entre los setos y acceder a la zona de césped, Langdon se sintió como si estuviera entrando en otro mundo. Aquel suelo horadado estaba rematado en la actualidad por uno de los monumentos más atípicos de la ciudad.
En el centro, hundiéndose en la tierra como un abismo de cristal, se encontraba la pirámide invertida que había visto hacía unos días al entrar en el la zona subterránea del Louvre.
«La Pyramide Inversée.»
Tembloroso, se fue hasta el borde y contempló el museo que se extendía a sus pies, iluminado por una luz dorada. No sólo se fijaba en la impresionante pirámide invertida, sino en lo que había justo debajo. Ahí, en el suelo de la sala se veía una estructura minúscula, una estructura que Langdon mencionaba en su texto.
La posibilidad de que aquello pudiera ser cierto lo mantenía plenamente despierto. Volvió a alzar la vista y contempló el museo y notó que sus enormes alas lo rodeaban… aquellos pasillos llenos de las mejores obras de arte…
Leonardo da Vinci, Boticcelli…
Adornada por artes de maestros, ella reposa al fin en su morada.
Maravillado, miró hacia abajo una vez más a través del cristal y vio la diminuta estructura.
«¡Tengo que bajar como sea!»
Salió de allí y cruzó la explanada en dirección a la pirámide que hacía las veces de entrada al museo. Los últimos visitantes de aquel día ya iban saliendo.
Empujó la puerta giratoria y bajó por la escalera circular. Notaba que el aire se iba haciendo más fresco. Al llegar abajo, entró en un largo túnel que, bajo el patio del Louvre, llegaba a La Pyramide Inversée.
Al otro lado del túnel había una sala grande. Delante de él, colgando desde las alturas, estaba la pirámide invertida, un asombroso perfil triangular hecho de cristal.
«El cáliz.»
Los ojos de Langdon siguieron su forma decreciente desde la base hasta la punta, suspendida más de dos metros por encima del suelo. Y ahí, justo debajo de ella, se encontraba la diminuta estructura.
Una pirámide en miniatura. De apenas un metro de alto. La única cosa en aquel inmenso complejo que se había hecho a pequeña escala.
El ensayo de Langdon, además de tratar sobre la colección artística dedicada a la diosa que albergaba el museo, hacía un breve comentario sobre aquella discreta pirámide.
«Esa estructura en miniatura sobresale del suelo como si fuera la punta de un iceberg, el ápice de una enorme sala piramidal sumergida debajo como una cámara oculta.»
Iluminadas con la luz tenue de aquel sótano desierto, las dos pirámides se apuntaban la una a la otra, y sus puntas casi se tocaban.
«El cáliz encima. La espada debajo.»
Custodios y guardianes de sus puertas serán por siempre el cáliz y la espada.
Langdon oyó las palabras de Marie Chauvel. «Un día lo entenderás.»
Estaba ahí de pie, bajo la antigua Línea Rosa, rodeado de «artes de maestros». «¿Qué mejor lugar que aquel para que Saunière pudiera estar siempre vigilante?» Ahora, al fin, le parecía que entendía el verdadero significado de los versos del Gran Maestre. Alzando los ojos al cielo, miró a través del cristal. La noche estaba cuajada de estrellas.
Y el manto que la cubre en su descanso no es otro que la bóveda estrellada.
Como los murmullos de los espíritus en la oscuridad, resonaron unas palabras olvidadas.
«La búsqueda del Grial es literalmente el intento de arrodillarse ante los huesos de María Magdalena. Un viaje para orar a los pies de la descastada, de la divinidad femenina perdida.»
Con repentina emoción, Robert Langdon cayó postrado de rodillas.
Por un momento le pareció oír la voz de una mujer… la sabiduría de los Tiempos… que susurraba desde los abismos más profundos de la tierra.
FIN.
Vista aérea del recinto palacial del Louvre. Junto al círculo rojo podemos ver el cristas superior de la pirámide Invertida del Louvre. El tráfico rodado y unos altos setos impiden apreciarla desde la calle.

Se conocen como Día de Pi dos celebraciones en honor de la expresión matemática Pi; el "Día Pi" y el "Día de aproximación de Pi". Esta celebración fue una ocurrencia del físico Larry Shaw en San Francisco,[1] y ha ido ganando en popularidad, hasta el punto de contar en 2009 con una resolución favorable de la Cámara de Representantes de los Estados Unidos,[2] en la que se declaraba al 14 de marzo como día nacional de π.[3]
Por la forma en que se escribe en el formato usado en los Estados Unidos, el 14 de marzo (3/14) se ha convertido en una celebración no oficial para el "Día Pi", derivándose de la aproximación de tres dígitos de pi: 3,14.[4] Normalmente la celebración se concentra a la 1:59 PM (en reconocimiento de la aproximación de seis dígitos: 3,14159),[5] aunque algunas personas afirman que en realidad son las 13:59, por lo que lo correcto sería celebrar a la 1:59 AM.
Matemáticos y profesores de varias escuelas alrededor del mundo organizan fiestas y reuniones en esta fecha. La fecha se celebra de maneras muy diversas: algunos grupos se reúnen para discutir y comentar sobre la importancia de pi en sus vidas, intercambiar anécdotas o teorizar cómo sería el mundo sin el conocimiento de pi.[4] Otros grupos se reúnen para ver la película de culto, Pi, fe en el caos.[6] También es frecuente comer tartas con motivos sobre π; otro juego de palabras, pues en lengua inglesa, tanto pi como pie (tarta) tienen idéntica pronunciación.[7] [4]

Otro dato curioso es que el afamado Instituto Tecnológico de Massachussetts (MIT), reconocido por su inusual acercamiento a las matemáticas, acostumbra enviar las cartas de aceptación a sus futuros estudiantes para que sean entregadas en esta fecha.[4]
El momento Pi "definitivo" habría ocurrido el 14 de marzo de 1592 a las 6:53:58 (AM). Esto, escrito en formato estadounidense, sería 3/14/1592 6:53.58, que correspondería al valor de pi expresado en doce dígitos: 3,14159265358. Considerando que esto fue mucho tiempo antes de que se estandarizara la hora en el mundo y pi no era un concepto de uso general, lo más seguro es que la fecha haya sido cambiada a lo largo de la historia.
También se considera aceptable el 14 de marzo de 2015, ya que representa al número Pi al ser representado abreviadamente como 3/14/15. Concretamente a las 9:26:53 de la mañana se forma un conjunto equiparable al número Pi expresado con nueve cifras decimales: 3,141592653.

The number 56 looks like it may have been significant to the architects:
1. 56 x 56 x 56 times the size of the Great Pyramid: Here the circumference of the earth = length of the pyramid base.
2. 1/56 of the pyramid is the size of the missing capstone described by several sources
3. 1/(56 x 56) times the size of the pyramid is the tiny one of Figure 1 with a base approx. 7 x 7cm.
Coinciding with the unprecedented height of Cheops’s Pyramid there is also an unprecedented feature in its inner layout,
the Grand Gallery.
The length of the Grand Gallery is 91.37 cubits or 47.877 meters.
The middle of the grand gallery is 13.79 cubits (7.22 meters) east of the pyramid’s centre axis.
The Grand Gallery has 7-step corbeled side walls, 2 RC wide at the top and 4 RC wide at the floor.
The floor has a central groove 2 RC wide, flanked by 1 RC floor-ramps on each side.
The Grand Gallery is about 18 RC high vertically, or about 16 RC high perpendicular to its floor.
It is about (200/sqrt(5)) = about 89 RC long.

Its geometric design predicts that sound originating within its space is focused through a passageway past the Antechamber and into the granite complex known as the King’s Chamber.

In the center Plato (#1), holding the Timaeus and pointing to the heavens, speaks with Aristotle (#2), holding the Ethics and gesturing towards the earth. They are framed by the triumphal arch above as well as by barrel vaults and sky; they are also surrounded by the largest number of people (#3-10, 52-56). According to legend, Christian Rosenkreuz was a doctor who discovered and learned esoteric wisdom on a pilgrimage to the Middle East among Turkish, Arab, and Persian sages, possibly Sufi or Zoroastrian masters, supposedly in the early 15th century (see section below on Symbolism) ; returned and founded the “Fraternity of the Rose Cross” with himself (Frater C.R.C.) as Head of the Order. Under his direction a Temple, called Sanctus Spiritus, or “The House of the Holy Spirit”, was built.
The legend presented in the Manifestos has been interpreted symbolically (as were all hermetic and alchemical texts of those times). They do not directly state Christian Rosenkreuz’s years of birth and death, but in two sentences in thesecond Manifesto the year 1378 is presented as being the birth year of “our Christian Father”, and it is stated that he lived for 106 years, which would mean he died in 1484.[5] The foundation of the Order can be supposed in similar terms to have occurred in the year 1407. However, these numbers (and deduced years) are not taken literally by many students of occultism, who consider them to be allegorical and symbolic statements for the understanding of the Initiated. The justification for this relies on the Manifestos themselves: on the one hand, the Rosicrucians clearly adopted through the Manifestos the Pythagorean tradition of envisioning objects and ideas in terms of their numeric aspects, and, on the other hand, they directly state,
“We speak unto you by parables, but would willingly bring you to the right, simple, easy and ingenuous exposition, understanding, declaration, and knowledge of all secrets.”

The significance of 137–8 and 147 is best understood if NOT taken literally, I agree … allow me to illustrate.
The metaphorical nature of these legends lends a nebulous quality to the origins of Rosicrucianism. The opening of Rosenkreuz’s tomb is thought to be a way of referring to the cycles in nature and to cosmic events; and as well, to the opening of new possibilities for mankind consequent on the advances of the 16th and early 17th centuries. Similarly, Rosenkreuz’s pilgrimage seems to refer to the transmutation steps of the Great Work.
Similar legends may be found in Wolfram von Eschenbach‘s description of the Holy Grail as the “Lapis Exillis“, guarded by the Knights Templar, or in the Philosophers’ stone of the alchemists, the “Lapis Elixir“.

Some occultists including Rudolf Steiner, Max Heindel[3] and (much later) Guy Ballard, have stated that Rosenkreuz later reappeared as the Count of St. Germain, a courtier, adventurer, and alchemist who reportedly died on February 27, 1784. Steiner once identified Rembrandt’s painting “‘A Man in Armour’” as a portrait of Christian Rosenkreuz, apparently in a 17th century manifestation. It is described that on the Sarcophagus in the centre of the Crypt of Christian Rosenkreutz were written, among other inscriptions the words, “Jesus mihi omnia, nequaquam vacuum, libertas evangelii, dei intacta gloria, legis jugum,” (being in translation, “Jesus is everything to me, by no means a vacuum/a vacuum by no means exists, the freedom of the good news/gospel, the inviolate glory of god, the yoke of the law”) testifying to the builder’s Christian character. Rosenkreuz’s crypt, according to the description presented in the legend, seems to be located in the interior parts of the Earth, recalling the alchemical motto VITRIOL: “Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem
“Visit the Interior Parts of the Earth; by Rectification Thou Shalt Find the Hidden Stone.”
