thought I would reintroduce myself as I have'nt been to any psp groups in a few years, My Name is Su aka sillyitsme.(dont really use that name too much anymore)

I was a member of kats korner and delights back in the msn group days. I also ran a group called chit chat animations and wrote several tutorials.

once msn groups closed down I didnt bother looking for another place to host my tutorials, followed a few people to yuku to continue psping..then just stopped doing it for awhile.

got an email from timber inviting me to this forum and thought I would give it a shot. hopefully it will be like riding a bike and I can remember how to psp. and how to use these mesage boards again too. first thing I have to do is install all my paint shop programs on my new pc..

so a little about me, I have 4 adult children ,5 grandkids and 2 cats. I work in food service for my school district which gives me summers off, my husband is retired.

I live in the midwest of the USA.

I look forward to being a member of this group and thank you timber for the invite.

I`m so happy you received my invite, Su.
You never know if those things are going to work or not.

I had to chuckle when I saw the subject of your message said "Hola". I know that I wrote that Gabitos is a mostly Spanish-speaking community, but I meant the other Gabitos groups. I think I may be the only Yank who created a group in this community. Everyone in this group is a refugee from MSN Groups or Yuku. I think Cheetah speaks Spanish, but I don`t know about anyone else. I use Google Translate when I venture outside the group to where they write in Spanish. I don`t imagine anyone here will be writing in Spanish though.

Thanks for sharing so much about yourself! I had forgotten that you wrote tutorials until you mentioned it. But I vaguely remember you had an MSN Group where you had your tutorials posted. I have created a board for member tutorials, so please feel free to dust off your oldies-but-goodies tutorials and post them on the board.

Like you, I also haven`t PSP`d in ages. I accidentally un-installed it when I tried to fix something on my computer. I pressed the wrong button and whoosh... all gone! My eyesight isn`t as good as it used to be and I can not see pixels as clearly as I used to. I will need new eyeglasses before I will be able to work with really tiny things again.

Come on in and make yourself at home. Mi casa es su casa! Okay, that`s it for my Spanish LOL. Ask any questions that you have as you get settled. Just post them on the General message board as that is where I look the most.

timber, omg I almost forgot the name of the msn group that I kept my tutorials at....Tutorials to go. Lol I should look to see if I can find it in the way back machine. All those tuts were written for psp version 7 and are now collecting dust on an old external harddrive.would probably take a load of work to pull them out, I think it's going to take awhile to remember how to put in images to these boards.are you using photo bucket? And do you have any tutorials or screen shots on how to do backgrounds and stuff for these boards? I need a crash course.????

Funny thing I work at a Spanish immersion school and only know a few words.haha

Yes, Tutorials-to-Go, that was the name. I have tried to access old MSN groups through the Wayback Machine and it`s hard. I was able to access WebPage GiveAway, but when I try to navigate from it to another MSN group, the navigation fails.

I haven`t created a tutorial for the message editor yet, but I have some notes at A&S that you can read. Some of it is also applicable here.

I will work on one for here. You can`t use Photobucket any longer as they do not allow direct linking anymore *wah*. But you can create an album in the Photo Gallery here for your siggies, and I have created an album for Backgrounds if you wanted to add any in there to create a mailbox. At Gabitos, you get 100MB of storage which isnt too shabby.

I`ll write something up to help.

do you remember the groups on multiply? is that where msn tried to get everyone to move to?

when I looked on my hardrive for my tutorials I found the text linked there but no images.

I only went to Multiply for a short time, Su. I didn`t like it.
