Animated Filmstrip

Here is an example of the type of tag we will be making.

The animated graphics are from Motzgraphics/ Aardvaark Animations. (Thanks to the Wayback Machine) You can find them Here.
There are various rectangle shaped animations available to use besides flowers.

You will be doing most of the work in Animation Shop.
I hope this tutorial is easy for you to follow and that you have fun with it.
There are endless possibilities using this technique.

Click to download the filmstrip we will be using Here

It will fit the rectangle shaped animations you will find at Motzgraphics, so it is ready for you to use.

Ok...here we go

Open Animation shop and then open the filmstrip image I provided and the rectangle animation you chose from Motzgraphics.

Select the animation you chose from Motzgraphics by clicking on the top bar of the animation.

Go to edit...select all

edit....copy

edit...paste as new animation

and close the original animation.

Open a blank animation to create your tag on, by going to file...new animation.
I made mine 200x 150 with a transparent background. You can crop it later.

Click on the top bar of the filmstrip to select it.
Go to edit....copy
Click on the top bar of your new blank animation.
Go to edit....paste into selected frame

The filmstrip will be on the end of your cursor. Move it into the postion you want.
Click on the top bar of the new animation and again go to
edit...paste into selected frame...to add the second filmstrip to your new image.
You will notice that the animation you chose from Motzgraphics has 27 frames.
You need to duplicate your new filmstrip image until it also has 27 frames.

Click on the top bar of your Motzgraphics animation
go to edit...select all
edit....copy

Click on the top bar of your new 27 frame filmstrip image
go to edit...select all
edit...paste into selected frames

The animation you copied should be on the end of your curser. Simply move it into place in your filmstrip.
Repeat the edit...paste into selected frame to add the animation to the second filmstrip
or you can add text there if you wish.

Crop the image and add whatever you'd like to it.
Save it as a gif and you have your new tag.

I'd love to see your results!
You can post them with the other member results
