I don`t have the time for an official tutorial so I`ll put some screenshots here with some quickie notes for adding a YouTube video to a message (at Gabitos).
Get the address from YouTube (copy the address).
 Click the insert YouTube Video button in the message editor.  Paste the address into the box for the URL (address). Then you can make adjustments to the Dimensions if you`d like a smaller size video in your message. Click Insertar when finished.  You won`t see the video at this point. You`ll see a yellow box. If you click Preview, you`ll see this. Looking at the Preview will give you a picture of the size of the video. Pay no attention to the message in the graphic. That will not show after you click Send Message.  Click Send Message. That`s the basic tutorial for adding a YouTube video to a message. I have been researching some of the video options to add such as removing buttons and other things, but that info will have to come later when I have more time. |

Q - How do you get all the songs to play without opening the YouTube page?
I'm using all your song list to recreat my Yahoo christmas music post. Hope that is ok. |

Sure, you can use the same playlist of videos that I post, no problem.
Are you saying that when you click the play button you are taken to YouTube to watch the video instead of the video playing here at Gabitos? When I go to the Christmas Jukebox thread HERE, and I click a play button on any of the videos, the video plays right inside the message reply; I am not taken to YouTube. If, however, after clicking the play button, you then click the "YouTube" button in the button bar (along the bottom), you will go to YouTube and the video will play there.
If you are referring to the message in the screenshot about "Watch on YouTube; Flash-embedded videos are no longer supported...", that message disappears when you click send. Go to the Christmas Jukebox and click the play button on any of the videos, and then let me know what happens. |

I`m sorry that I didn't make myself clear -- that happens way to offen - brain dead..lol
when I'm making the list of songs on for Yahoo - when I`m composing I have to create a link - that link takes you right to the YouTube song. It opens up the page.
This doesn't happen here at Gabitos - so I wanted to know how you do it without creating the link to each song.. they just all play... that is so cool.
It would be nice if when people clicked on the song link in my Yahoo post that the music would play and not open a page. Is it the same as posting them Here?
I`m confused and that is why my qestions and post is confusing. lol

Are you asking how to embed the video on your page so the video appears on the page rather than text that is linked to the video at YouTube? |

Again I'm sorry for not being clear...
I will work on it all later this week to see if I can figure it out. If it stays confusing I will try asking again. Thanks for your help!! My understanding of computers is limited.

It`s totally fine, Jossie! I`m no computer genius either.
When I`m looking for something on the internet, I don`t always know the technical term and so I have to type all kinds of words until I find what I am looking for. Once I find the technical term, then that is what I use with other people. So if I use a technical term with you, it doesn`t mean I always know what I`m talking about LOL.
And I completely understand about asking confusing questions. When you don`t know the name of something then you have to kind of ask in "painting a picture" way (I get it).
If you still have trouble, then just ask. I am always happy to help if I can. |
