Rainbow Text by Nemesis
This is an older tut, but I love it.
Before this tut, I had never used the "change to target" brush. It is an interesting tool and I am still discovering its potential.
For the header above, I used a font called The Heart of Everything, size 72 with a stroke of 2.
The stroke color is #076F75 and the fill #8EF2F8. The gradient is one called pjs. I used an angle of 45 with one repeat.
I added a drop shadow on the text of 1, 1, 25, 2.00 black.
Additional Tags
This is the first tag I made and I followed the tutorial except I used a font called Impact.
I think the smaller version is sweet.
Here is the second play I had with this tutorial. With this one I used Chopin Script size 72. I also added a drop shadow of 1, 1, 25, 2.00 black (only on the text) on this one.
You can use any preset shape. It doesn't have to be a heart.
I hope you will give this tut a try and show us your results on this thread. |

This is a very pretty tut! And I love your results, Judy. I wish I could do the same but I did give it a try using alternate methods (without SBP). I did not like how it turned out and I ended up doing a mish mash of TWO tutorials (Nemesis Rainbow Text & EQs Plastic Text). And the outcome was totally different. I like the way it turned out though! lol I just hope I replicate it though (I was just clicking and doing as I went along) :-D Either way, here is what I came up with.

Awe, Karla, I thought you got some of your plugins to work. Do any of the EC filters work for you?
I love your tag, even without the SBP. The font your used is cool. Thanks for giving this tut a play.

Thank you! And I forgot to mention (I always forget something) that I used the Landscape night gradient. Because of the effects used, the gradient was very light on the text. I had to enhance the color a few times for it to show up and it came out the way it did: pinky and perwinkly lol
The only filters that work from the EC 4000 I have is Glass and I think 2 other ones - since it is a "demo version" it just allows me to use a few. Never got SBP, Simple filter, Xenofex plugins and Lokas (demo) and to work. I do not know if I should just remove ALL of the plugins and start fresh, one by one. It already sounds sooooo time consuming lol |
