Hey Karla,

Thanks again for your shares.  Much appreciated.

Yes....that wonderful sparkly Name Tag was made by Daphne.  Isn't it beautiful??

I made some too following those earlier links you posted where we can create animated text.  Had fun there.  Yay!

My next project will be to attempt the blingy border Name Tag tutorial.  Perhaps this evening.

It's still really cold here but I haven't given up on my daily walks just yet.

Hubby has our drinks ready and time for a hot tub.  It's the highlight of our days!  He even installed a gazebo overtop the hot tub so now we are sheltered from all elements.  He also strung up some nice lights for when we go at night.  Love it.

Hoping by this time...you are fully recovered from your nasty bug.

Stay safe everyone... and take care..

Hugs,

It was fun and easy.  Loved it.

Here's my result.

Paula! It is good to see you stop by :)

I love your result! The flowers are a lovely touch (I want to try something like that sometime) and the colors are beautiful. Even though we can make our own graphics, it is still fun playing with the text generators to make name tags :D On my old computer and laptop, I probably have a ton of them lol

Oh yes, I am doing much better now. I was unwell for a bit there but sooooo relieved that it is over with. :)

That is wonderful that you both get to enjoy time in the hot tub. I bet it is so pretty with the gazebo and lights!

It is 7:31 PM here and I need to get something to eat. Good thing I cooked something yesterday and have plenty of leftovers. Hm, but I have also been wanting fries. Maybe I will cut up some potatoes and fry them up. Yummy.

Have a wonderful week, everyone!

Hi ladies! I am stopping by to say hello and wish you all a happy Wednesday. I have been on the laptop creating pretty graphics and just a while ago, I looked at the time and could not believe how time FLEW. I actually covered my mouth in "OMG" gesture lol My sleep is all wacky, since I fell asleep around 6 PM yesterday and woke up at 11 PM or so. And I have been up since then. It is now 1:03 PM. So, yes, very WACKY.

Above is a snaggable "Checking In" tag. I found a website with soooo many wonderful tubes and I have been playing with them. I have linked 2 tube websites in the appropiate board, so be sure to go check that out. You will enjoy visiting, for sure!

Hubby did not sleep well, last night, because of a tummy ache and I have been quiet as possible all morning. Hopefully, he will be feeling a lot better. I will be letting the laptop rest now and I will go see about getting something to drink. I am so thirsty. I am always thirsty for something COLD. I wish we had ice. We never have ice but the bedroom and livingroom are always ice cold. lol

Have a lovely day / night, everyone!

Hello Karla...and all other members,

I worked on a tutorial all afternoon too.  Took me forever to find the right tube to match my background image.  It finally all came together and I was quite pleased with the result. I was thinking of starting on another one....but I think I will head off to bed to watch tv instead.

I do want to check out your tube links before I sign off for the night.... Hope I'm able to find them.

The other day when you mentioned fries... I kept thinking about them all evening and night long.  I almost got up to make some.  lol  Fries are one of my fave foods!!!  I could eat them every day if they weren't so fattening!

Hope your hubby feels better and that you get a normal night's sleep tonight...

Hugs,

Hello everyone ^_^
It is so nice to see you Paula & Marycielo! I just got on the laptop like an hour ago or so. I went straight to PSPing. I am excited to use tubes that I got from https://tattysthingies.blogspot.com/ - there are soooo many wonderful tubes and they are high quality too! Paula, you will surely find many tubes for your creations.

Oh Marycielo, I hope you feel better soon! And hopefully before the holiday next week. ^_^ I am looking forward to being around family but at the same time, I dread it because I do not get to eat what everyone else is enjoying. For one, I am vegan. And add to that the fact that I am lactose intolerant. Bleh. I always have to bring my own prepared food. It is NO fun.

I know Canada celebrated Thanksgiving last month. Paula, is it celebrated the same way it is here in the states? What type of foods are the typical Thanksgiving meal? And lol, I am sorry I got you thinking of fries! I actually did make mine but I did not get to enjoy them much. I prefer not to have to make them myself. lol I do not use ketchup anymore, since tomatoes now hurt my tummy - ugh, and I loved putting so much of it on them. I also love to use BBQ sauce for them and best when mixing it with ketchup...omg, I better stop because I want some now!

All right, time for me to get this posted. It is 2:54 PM and I have been awake since like 5 something this morning. I went to sleep last night sometime after 10 PM (I think). I was so very tired. My body still needs to rest but I am good for now. Take care everyone!

Nice to meet you Marycielo .  I'm kind of new here.  I love PSP and anything and everything to do with it!
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.  Sending you healing vibes so you are back on your feet soon.

Thanks so much for the link to the assorted tubes, Karla.  Truly appreciated.  I always love finding new tubes although I generate a lot myself nowadays...with so many AI generators out there.

Canadian Thanksgivings are celebrated the same as in The States....with turkey, pumpkin pie and all the trimmings.  I make all that for hubby but I buy Tofurky for myself as I'm vegetarian.  I haven't eaten meat in over twenty years but I eat fish.  I could actually live on french fries and ketchup.  lol  Also....I buy Cruelty Free products ONLY, any never buy any fur nor leather products of any kind!  I'm a true animal lover!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear Karla, for the beautiful Name Tag you made for me.  I absolutely LOVE it.  I will use it in this post.

I worked on another tutorial today and ran into a few snags and restarted it 3 times...up to step 79!!!!.  Took hours to finish it.  It was finally brought to my attention that Step 79 couldn't be done in PSP 9 and only in higher version!  OMG!!!!  I switched my tag to PSP 22...and TA DA....worked like a charm!  Sheeeeesh!

I have a question for whomever can answer it.... please.  Is there any way to switch to English on this site...like when I want to copy, paste..etc   Whenever I open a drop down box...I don't understand what any of the options are.  Some I can guess...but it would be so much easier if they could be changed to English.
I have my fingers crossed that it CAN be changed!

Time for bed and watch some tv....

I still want those darn fries...btw... lol  lol

Hugs, Kisses and Much Love to All...

Aw, I am so glad you liked your new tag, Paula :) I wanted to do something with those colors for you and the font, well, I was testing it out. I have downloaded so many fonts that I have no idea what I have. lol Oh gosh, that would have given me a headache trying to do something with PSP 9 and finding out it cannot be done - in your opinion, is it worth using the newer versions? Like, do they have better tools? I used PSP Pro 2021 as a trial version and it gave me slight headache trying to figure it out. Things are different than what I was used to in PSP 8. It took me a while to get around some of the things but I was glad that I was able to create stuff with it (while I had the chance).

Oh wow! It is so nice to see someone else that eats "no meat" :) I stopped eating meat back in April of 2014. I was still eating eggs though until September that year. I try to buy cruelty-free too. I buy E.L.F. makeup products (though I only wear makeup ONCE in a blue moon). I have no problem with others eating animal products around me, since it is their choice and I do not want to be "that person" that tries to lecture. Luckily, those around me understand me - though at first they did NOT. lol I buy the alternative meats by Gardein, Impossible, Morning Star and Tofurky (deli "meats"). I have tried Beyond Meat (meat crumbles) once and I did NOT like it one bit. I cooked it thinking it would be good but as soon as I took a spoonful, I took it right out! I ended up throwing it all away (I know, such a waste). Have you ever tried soyrizo (soy "chorizo")??

Um, as far as I know, the language cannot be changed in those little windows / drop downs. But Timber has a guide here: https://www.gabitos.com/animationssmilies/editortranslations.php that may help (not sure if you have seen that page already).

Ack! I better go now...I actually dozed off while typing and putting this image together - I have no clue how long I was zzz. lol I will be back later - bye bye :)

Hi ladies! I am just checking in. I am sorry I did not come by sooner but I was lost in the PSP world, lol. I do not know how much longer I will have the creating bug but I hope I can take advantage as much as I can. As you may have seen, there are images uploaded in the Image Gallery. Timber, I hope you do not mind me having created an extra album. I added snaggable "Checking In" tags. That way, anyone can just copy and paste with ease. I would like to make more so there can be a variety of styles to suit the mood and / or season. (^_~) The above is a snaggy too!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Hugs!

Hi Marycielo! It is good to hear you are feeling much better.

Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Checking in, here!. I am hoping we will all have a fantastic week and a stress-free holiday. We will be celebrating it on Saturday, I believe. Hubby wants me to make bon bons - have no idea how to make them so I will have to look up some info. If it is complicated, I am not going to deal with it, lol.

Hahahahaha.....Karla!  I love the fries!  Thank you so much!  lol

I buy a lot of Gardein, Impossible and Beyond Meat products.  I also buy St. Yves balogna slices and jumbo weiners.  They are soooooooo good.  I only buy the Tofurky stuffed breasts for Christmas and Thanksgiving.  It's just ok....not great...but it's something for me to eat while everyone else has turkey.  Like you, I still cook real meat for hubby and company.  To each his own...right?

My friend Barbara...owner and creator of Arasimages tutorials, has asked me to post her link here..(hope it's ok), as she has recently been working on AI tubes and wants someone to use them as she's put so much work and effort into them. You can find her gorgeous tubes under:  PSP Tubes   Here's the link:  Oops...  I tried and it didn't work.  Darn!  lol

I would not recommend any of the newer PSP versions although many swear by them.  I have had no luck with them as most of my plugins won't work or they keep crashing right in the middle of my work.  I have lost so many unfishined tags that way.... Just awful and frustrating!   Just my opinion....of course.

I have printed out the list of terms with the different languages, from Timber.  Thanks for the link.  I hadn't seen that page yet.

I was busy all weekend long making over 200 cabbage rolls with my sister-in-law.  It was sooooo much work.  Hadn't made them in a while so had forgotten how time consuming they are!  Last time I make this many at once.... AND.... I don't even eat them!  lol  All for hubby and friends.

My daughter will be coming over to spend a few days, in a couple of weeks so we can do our Christmas baking.  She's the greatest baker and loves making all those fancy desserts.  Since we moved in the new house and now have this very large kitchen with huge island... she wants to come and bake here.  lol  Again.... I make these desserts to give away to friends and neighbors.  Hubby will eat a little but I make special ones for him with sugar substitutes since he's diabetic.  I don't eat desserts much.  My weaknesses are potato chips and FRIES!!!!  lol lol  Surprise...Surprise!!  lol lol

I'm off to watch some tv now.... dog is waiting for me.

Take care everyone...  Stay safe....and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Hugs,

Oh Paula, so glad you stopped by because those fries were getting cold. I promise, I only ate one! lol

Hm, I never heard of the St. Yves products. The Gardein ground b'ef is my go-to but it is not my favorite. I loved the meatless ground instead. Do not know why they even changed that! I also used to buy the "chicken" tenders but I hated having to wait so long for them to cook up in the oven. I am just not a very patient person. lol I try to get my hubby to try my food but he is like NOOOO ty! However, if I get the Daiya or So Delicious ice creams, he will EAT them up. lol

Oh my! You sure were kept busy then, having to make all of those cabbages rolls! I have never tried them before of even attempted to make them but they sound so good. Hope everyone will enjoy them. :) My mom does not eat meat either (maybe once in a very blue moon she might) but she will cook it. Everyone will eat it up, while my mom was the one that did alllllll of the work to prepare and cook. Have you ever had chiles rellenos (stuffed peppers in egg batter)? Well, those take time to make and for some reason, people always ask my mom to make a big ol' batch for them - as if it was something simple to do! It would, honestly, irk me that people would ask her to make big stuff for them.

Aw, that sounds great, that your daughter will be visiting! I wish I could enjoy of those baked goods and desserts! I have never been big on the sweets like ice cream sundaes with all of the toppings. But I love cake, pies and breads (omg, I am also a potato chips & of coarse, fries, gal)! Marie Callendars has a really goooooood apple pie that is vegan friendly (no dairy). I had looked up vegan desserts and that was something on the list. Hubby and I tried it and loved it. Hm, I think I will include that in our shopping list tonight. We have not had some in months. lol Do you use Stevia (sweetener) for your husband?

And of coarse, you can always link to other websites and goodies. We would love to visit! http://www.arasimages.com/index.html :)

I will definitely stick with PSP 8 and 9, now that I have tried out a later version and know about your experience too. That is sooooo very frustrating, when you are working on something and it decides to crash. And if you did not get to save your progress, that was just GRRRR! I think we have all experienced that, one too many times.

I have recently been visiting at Marycielos group and creating things for the challenges posted there and also making gifts (I love to make them). The above image is something I made for a recent challenge. It is so cool to be making things here and over there too. :) I have also created new things to post at my "snaggies" website. It had been a long time since I even made anything new for it (mostly has old content). I hope to make more stuff to share there.

I will get this posted now. I am going to visit Arasimages - I am viewing the flowers & plants page and I already see things I want to save. If I come up with something, I will share it here. ;)

Type to you all later
