Hi Daphne! I had a lovely Xmas and New Year. Xmas was spent with hubby's family (mom`s side) and New Year`s was just him and I at home with our little Buddy. We never go out or celebrate (party) with others. We watched a movie and just enjoyed each others company. And keeping Buddy safe from the scary "booming" of the fireworks around the neighborhood. He has a thunder vest, which is to help with the boomers and we got him some Melatonin to calm him. Seemed to work too! Usually, he would pace back & forth, and tremble a lot. It is so sad to see when he gets like that.
And I love your pink Pom siggy! So pretty ^_^

 Hello everyone, yes, I'm still here and checking in! I hope you are all well. I got through the holidays but I have been dealing with some depression, so that is why I have been quiet. I have been working on things at home, and I'm making some progress but it's slow going. I see there's been lots of posting of PSP results. Aw, Timber! So good to see you pop in. I hope things will get better soon ♥ The holidays can take a toll. It's best to take the time needed to recover. Things here are a little quiet but we are popping in and out as well. (^_~) I have been playing with tutorials and making up my own designs too. Just trying to stay creative.
l am still sick and so is hubby but we are okay. Had super cold and windy temp but I think it's warming up again. I don't know. We have weird weather, lol!
I think shall call it a "night" and get some sleep. I have a leg cramp and it is bugging meeeeeeeee, ugh, it may take a while. Have a good day/night, everyone! ♥

Hope you are over your sickness. Sure sounds like hubby is taking good care of you. Sorry to hear your little Buddy is scared of fireworks. Glad the vest is working to calm him down. Poor baby. I wish fireworks were banned completely! So many pets are terrified of them and GOD only knows how they affect wildlife!
Thank you so much for wanting to share your fries with me. You are such a good friend.  I'm waiting to lose a few more pounds before I pig out on them. lol Same for potato chips! Can't wait to eat a whole large bag of them. lol
I still want to move in with you Daphne and bask in your wonderful sunshine and enjoy your beautiful weather! Just thinking about your 30 degree temperature makes me feel all warm inside. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....
It's been so very cold and lots of snow here...perfect time to hibernate and have drinks in the hot tub and dream of living with Daphne. lol lol
Finally got together with daughter and hubby. Took them over two weeks to get over their colds. It was a nasty one. It was nice to finally have our Christmas with them. It's always wonderful and relaxing when they come over as they don't have kids! lol
Been busy cleaning out folders and emails... but haven't done too much PSP. Hopefully I will be getting back into it soon.
Got a new fridge today and finally got it installed and running....but the beeping you get when you leave door opened is sounding on and off and won't stop. Apparently it can continue doing so until it reaches the correct temperature and may take up to 12 hours!!! I don't know if I can take it for that long. It's soooooooooooooooo annoying! lol We are now trying to sell our old one which is still in perfect condition except for the ice maker which doesn't dispense ice cubes in door anymore....only inside in tray. Hopefully it will sells soon and out of my kitchen!
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well Timber. The holidays is difficult for a lot of people. I wish you all the very best....for this New Year. Thinking of you....and sending warm hugs and much love.

It is so good to see you pop in, Paula! It has been a bit quiet but hopefully more members will check in too.
That is wonderful that they were able to celebrate Christmas with you, finally - that cold bug has been going around, ugh! We are still sort of dealing with it but we are much better for sure.
We are expecting freezing temperatures for this weekend and possible power outages. I hope it will not be as bad as it sounds or is expected to be. I will be bummed not being able to use the laptop, since it does not have a working battery - so it is plugged it 24/7, lol. We do have solar powered chargers for our mobile phones and power generators, so if need be, we should be okay.
I think we should all go to Daphne`s, lol
Oh gosh, the beeping would drive me nuts too, lol. Hope it is all good by now and that it has been sold. I wish ours had an ice cube dispencer! And ours does beep too, if the door is left open - I hate it when I am cleaning the refrigerator because I have to keep pressing the darn thing on the side.
I am going to get this posted now, so I can check up on stuff and hopefully make stuff too. I am also screen recording my favorite eagle camera, on YT. I posted video clips of them to my channel - I love eagles! I also watch other eagle cams but only share vids from one (I have yet to e-mail others for permission).

Hi everyone! I hope you are all staying nice a warm (or cool). Our weather has been one crazy cold one, this weekend. Today should be the last of it. We dropped down to 24 degrees Farenheit. So, we most certainly used our heater to keep us toasty! Hubby was told that we will be getting another cold front in 1-2 weeks. And most likely, we will get another alert about possible power outages - we did not get affected this time - so we will have to make sure we are prepared.
I have been PSPing so much! I am having so much fun using tubes, which I was not really used to. I was more into making my glitters / glitter sigs, lol. If anyone likes the sig tags in this post, I will be more than happy to make one with your name or any text you will like (I resized the one w/ my name, I think it looks cute smaller too). I will add the "Checking In" one to the Image Gallery here.
It is 8:12 AM now and I might hang around a bit longer on the web. Maybe, I will look for more fonts (as if I need more, well I do, lol) and tubes. Wishing you all a lovely week ♥

We have been getting extremely cold temperature here too in Ontario. Happy to hear your power never went out.
I have been going out in back yard every day to feed the pigeons, squirrels, blue jays and chicadees. It helps them survive the harsh winters when they have food in their bellies. They sure are eating a lot. I use one of those large under-the-bed storage container and fill it half with all sort of goodies for them. We also go, once a week, to feed the hundreds of ducks in another area. They should have migrated south but they didn't because they were getting fed here and now they have to survive the winter. Hubby and I just went on Sunday...with my gf....and fed them 120 lbs of corn and 3 large Costco bags of sunflower seeds. They had a good feast. Will be going back again next Sunday. We can tell other people are feeding them too....but certainly not enough for such a large flock. Not sure if I can insert a video on here.... I would love for you to see the ducks.
Bad luck with new fridge! Guys came to fix the constant beeping and couldn't find the problem. Guess we just got a 'lemon'. " Sigh " Now we have to wait another week for a new one to come in. Thank GOD we still have the old one... had a few offers on it but haven't accepted any yet. So Saturday is THE DAY we finally get to transfer everything over! It will be so nice not have to walk to the entrance to get stuff out of the old fridge. Keeping fingers crossed this new one will work properly.
I would love to watch your Eagle videos....on your channel? Where is that, please?
I would also love a winter sig tag with my name on it, please. It's absolutely gorgeous, Karla! Just beautifully done!
Why were you online at 8:12 .am.? lol lol I'm still in dreamland at that time. I normally roll out of bed around noon! I'm a night owl and watch tv until 4 or 5. lol I never understood early riser! Hahaha!

| Hiya Paula! I hope you are all staying warm in this crazy cold weather - yesterday morning, it was 21 degrees and it finally did warm up in the afternoon! Hubby went to help his momma in the morning and when he came back home, he said it is warm outside and he turned off the heater and cracked opened our bedroom window. I began sneezing a lot with the window being opened, lol! We have the heater back on though, since it did get chilly at night. It feels nice to be toasty ^_^
Omg, that is awesome that you all feed the animals ♥ It really is hard for them to find food in the winter months. Hm, I guess a video through here will not be possible, unless you have it uploaded somewhere (and share link). If you can, you can email it to me - I would love to see the duckies! Oh no, so you got a buggy fridge - boooo! So, good you had not sold the old one yet! That would have been even more frustrating.
Lol, I am such a night owl. I have always been, even if I try to sleep early, I will wake up during the night and stay up. Not sure when was the last time I actually had a good nights rest, eek! So yeah, I am awake all night and morning. I will go to sleep anywhere between 8 AM - 10 AM or sometimes, even after 12 PM (sooo bad of me!). I wonder if I should move to Alaska or something, lol!!!
All right, time for me to get this posted now. For some reason, the laptop "sleeps" whenever I press a certain number / key - not sure which, yet. I am so hoping the laptop is not messing up. I will be so upset if this one "breaks" too. Paula, I will email your winter tag, right after this. ^_~
