I looked through my tubes for a black&white tube to use where I could colorize some of the parts, and I even played a while with one colorizing the eyes and lips. But when I got to the Mosaic Glass step of the tutorial, I realized the tube was not a good choice as it was mostly squared around the edges. So I started over and I found this tube which is mostly black&white (although not quite the same b&w). I liked it anyway and when I applied the Mosaic Glass filter, I liked it more. I omitted all the colorize steps for this tube (it already had colorized parts lol).
For step #7, I added a 3 pixel border (instead of 2). I thought the tutorial was a bit heavy on the darkish grey color, so I went my own way with the outer borders and grey colors. To the darkest frame section, I applied Greg's Pool Shadow (changed intensity to 50) before applying the Blinds. I used the Paint Brush Tool to create the step border frame (3 pixels for the black and 10 pixels for the grey) and I filled it with a two-color grey gradient (angle=90), and then I applied the Blinds.
