I sorta did the challenge.  LOL  I stopped before the motion trail.  My brain needed a rest.  I managed to come up with this.  I made a gradient from the color palette but decide instead to use the palette as a pattern fill instead.

Aww... sorry to hear that, Daphne.  My note tutorials use a lot more shorthand phrases than a normal tutorial.  Did you try to use the script that is included in the supplies?

Awesome, Judy, I'm glad you were able to use the script.  Thanks so much for testing it for me and for showing your muy bonita tag results!

I made another variation of this tag that sort of looks like a girly Mexican flag LOL.  The font is Gilgongo Doro, and the gradient is ESP Watermelon.  For the selected area, I tried something different; I added a feather of 10 so the noise would feather out instead of having a harsh line.

Hi Timber,  well I got the script to work well and then did the animation.... forgot to crop ... but will do that next time ...  not sure why my kearning did not work properly  again something I need to play with I guess.
Ilove the latest one you just did great colours   so here is my 1st go
