Bubbles

I went my own way for this tag, so my results do not exactly match the tutorial.

For the Bubbles layer, I used the same Bubbles and HSB Noise settings as the tutorial but I didn't start with an angled gradient.  I wanted more color in the background so I used a selected portion of the tube.  I didn't realize until after I had applied the two filters that I didn't have the uniform, angled geometry of the bubbles layer .  Because of this, the Constellation effect looked terrible ; it was only displayed on a small portion of the background .  So I opted to animate my tag using VM Natural Sparkle (max size=20).  I also added a hint of animation to her eyelid with noise (gaussian, 25).

I don't have the Lokas Aqua filter, so for my text I used an aqua color then applied my favorite glass bevel settings here and Eye Candy 4000 Glass settings here (color=#00C000).  I set the blend mode to Screen to make it transparent.  I have a stroke=1 outline on a layer above the text with the blend mode set to Multiply.  So the text outline is dark and the fill is transparent.  I added a drop shadow (3, 3, 35, 3, black) on a separate layer below the text because it doesn't show if the drop shadow is on the screen layer.

I wanted the text to look like it was waving in the ocean, so I did a search at Dafont and found Structure Wave.  It's an unusual font but it gives me the feeling of water movement, so I went with it .

If you give this challenge a play, I'd love to see your creations!

I really wanted to try this one out so I checked the plugins needed list and was a little disappointed because I was unable to use the EC4000 HSB Noise (I only have a demo version installed, which allows me to use only 3 of the plugins). However, I did try something else I hoped would turn out good. And this is my result:

So instead of using the HSB Noise plugin, I opted for adding a New Layer and flood filled it with a pattern I made in a challenge ;)

I opened my pattern and added a seamless tile effect. That way it would be a nice fluid background.
Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling > Edge, Horizontal, 51% width, 50% transition

Added New Layer and filled it with the background.

Next, I changed the blend mode to Lighten and merged my two layers into one. So that would be the background I just used to fill new layer & the gradient background created in first part of tutorial (up until the "apply HSB Noise").

From there, I was able to follow the rest of the tutorial. The only difference is that I chose a different setting for my Photo Frame. I chose Dark with Gray Shadow.

I used a font called Persephone. I was going to use a script font but I had been wanting to do something with this font. It is so pretty and deco-y! I was stumped on what text to add (did not want to add my name). "Icy Blue" came to mind lol

Of coarse, this is a SNAGGIE ♥

Thank you Judy for sharing your creations with this tutorial and Timber, I think you did a fantastic job with your result! ♥

Great job, Moon!  I love the colors and tube you chose!   Adding glitter to her hair sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for having a play and showing your results!
