You will need the font Flower Display, EC 5 Impact (will use Chrome) and Alien Skin Xenofex2.
I used the colors #68BE9E (for Stroke / outline) and #91D5BD (for text), which I will later "recolor" by changing the Hue & Saturation to #/0. You will type your text as Vector so you can easily make any changes.
Below, you can see the number of layers I have used. I hope it is not confusing for you all. Of coarse, there are other ways to go about making this. So, once you see how I made mine, you will be able to do your own steps to accomplish this look.
Type your text with a Stroke width of 3 (4 can be used if you like), using #68BE9E. Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow . Use these settings: 0, 0, 50, 10.00, Black and select Shadow on a new layer.
Duplicate the text layer and edit it to close off the Foreground & Stroke Properties and just leave the Background & Fill Properties using #91D5BD. Convert to Raster Layer and go to Selections > Select All > Float.
With your text selected, add an Inner Bevel. Do not deselect.
Now go to EC 5 Impact and select Chrome > Indoor, Platinum. Go to Enhance Photo > Sharpen. Do not deselect.
Now go to Selections > Modify > Contract > Number of Pixels 4. Click on this layer and Promote Selection to Layer. You may now deselect and add a Noise effect. I used Random, 100, Monochrome. Sharpen.
*Note* Depending on your text size, you can adjust the number of pixels.
Duplicate the Noise layer and add Xenofex2 > Constellation. *Note* You can apply Constellation again to this layer, only this time selecting Keep original image.
You will now click on your text layer and go to Adjust > Hue & Saturation and set the Saturation to 0. Do the same to the Stroke (border / outline) layer and duplicate this layer as well.
Change the blend mode of your text layer to Screen. And the Stroke (border / outline) layer to Multiply.
Click on the Shadow layer and move it under the text layer.
Save your work as PNG and there you have it!
Here are some examples you may like to try. For the first one, I did not change the Saturation to 0. I kept the colors as is and enhanced the colors. Enhance Photo > Automatic Saturation Enhancement. Select More colorful / Strong. I added the Constellation twice.
For this second one, I followed the tutorial (added the Constellation twice though) and decided I wanted to colorize my work. So I clicked on each layer for Noise, text and borders / stroke and went to Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colorize. Hue 130 / Saturation 255.
*Note* I was unable to recreate the look of the ones I did as gifts (posted below as examples). I was busting my head trying and I just couldn't get it to look right. I believe for Marycielo`s, I used Quicksilver, instead of Indoor, Platinum. But it is close enough and the good thing is that you can change the style to what you feel looks good to you. For example, changing the blend mode and even using color for the text. Please, feel free to make any adjustments and share them with us! I would love to see what other fonts can be "blinged" using this tutorial.
