Judy, I have those tut supplies also.  There's a bitmap in the folder called "blank".  Is it possible that blank is the Clear1 image?  I looked in my SBP environments folder for anything called "clear", and I don't have it.

That's a pretty text tag and it has an animated motion trail! il   Yay, now I don't have to write all my instructions for how to make one  heehee.

Thanks for looking for me, timber.  I tried to do the tut and when I tried to use the SBP preset called for,  a box popped up and said unable to load Clear1.bmp.  So the resulting effect did not look anything like the one in the tut.

 

I'll just use the tut for the motion blur effect. 

 

If your motion blur method is different, then maybe we need it also.
