Little Blinkie Pixel Block Signature
Supplies Needed: PSP (any version) Animation Shop Little Blinkie Blocks: (Just right click and save to your computer.)
First I opened up a new image. I made mine on a white background and had it about 300 x 300 pixels. This is much bigger than what you need to work with, but I also start with too much and just get rid of the access. Then I opened up the image with the different pixel alphabet blocks on it. I used my selection tool (rectangle with 0 feather) and selected the first letter I would need and copied it. On my new image I pasted it as a new layer. I did this with all the letters I would need. In this case I copied and pasted "T", "I", "M", "B", "E" and "R". I then magnified my new image to 600% and I moved the letters so there was only 1 pixel space between each block.
I then hit Shift and "d" to duplicate the image. I did this so there was a total of THREE of them and lined them up on top of each other so I could see all three of them magnified.
You can use ANY colors you want. For mine, I used 6 colors. 3 outlines and 3 fillers. For mine, these are the colors I chose:
On the top image I colored the outlines on the blocks. The first block is the purple color, the second is the blue and the third is the green. And I just followed this pattern until all the blocks were outlined. Then you fill them in with the corresponding "lighter" color. Pink, blue, green... On the middle image I do the exact same thing except I move the colors over to the right one block. So the second block would be the pink, etc. On the bottom image it's the same thing so in this case the THIRD block would be the pink, etc.
Then I saved the top one as a gif and just named it "1". I saved the middle one as a gif and named it "2" and the bottom one as a gif and named it "3".
In Animation Shop I clicked the animation wizard and the only things I can think to point out that I do is I put it as a transparent background, repeat the animation indefinitely at 10. Load the 3 gifs and then view it and make sure it looks good to you.
I hope this makes sense lol......I've never really walked anyone through what I do before.
This is the finished "TIMBER" one btw. |
